I had some sparks flying out of my service panel box on Thanksgiving weekend.  I called and spoke with the owner, who promptly dispatched an electrician to my home within an hour.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided a safe, temporary fix on Saturday evening.  He returned on Monday morning as promised and on time and replaced the service panel for a very reasonable price.

Jay Electric did a fantastic job installing ceiling fans and flood lights in our new home. The crew were very professional and even vacuumed after the installation was complete. I got quotes from several companies and pricing also could not be beat. 10/10.

I needed a few things done to my 35 year old house (new wiring that was popping in the garage, new GFCI outlets installed, ceiling fan fixed, outside receptacle installed, and two bathroom vanity lights put in.  

They do not give estimates over the phone (makes sense) and came the next day to assess what needed to be done.  Randall came and met with my husband and we agreed on a price, which was very reasonable.

They were here two days later to do the work.  I must say...they are awesome!   All three guys (Randall , Jacob, and Hayden) were quick, efficient, and mannerable).  I was beyond satisfied with their professionalism.   Any issues that arose, they had suggestions on how to solve.    I told my husband they we definitely need to keep them on speed dial for future work!   He agreed, and he's hard to please.

This is like a miracle, checked my problem told me how to fix it myself and didn't charge me a penny, I did give him a tip.  This type of services is rarer the chicken teeth.

From disgusting to delightful! The house we bought had all original everything - 26 years old.  The old range hood was beyond cleaning and just plain gross.  Our replacement was a wall mounted range hood and not as easy to install. M&R responded quickly and set a appointment. Robert and his trusty sidekick came as scheduled and got to work. Robert checked everything out, explained what they were going to do.  I didn't realize our hood was not wide enough to contain the electrical outlet.  Robert explained it needed to be moved or it would not look right.  (That was important because not that long ago a different so-called contractor had the same issue and installed it anyway without saying anything to me until it was installed.) They were not rushing and were very diligent with the details so I was surprised when I realized it was all completed within one hour.  Excellent professional service from start to finish!

A friend recommended Mister Sparky to me, and I was sure glad she did!  I was able to make an appointment at 5:00 for the next day, and the tech was there by 9:15.  He was very nice and found a way to get my true vintage chandelier hung despite multiple obstacles.  I will be using them again!

Buyer Beware! !

I called On Time Electric this morning to repair some issues I was having with electrical outlets in my kitchen and bathroom.

The person I spoke with on the phone told me that they charge a $59 trip charge and when the electrician arrives they will diagnose the problem and give me a price for the repairs. I agreed and scheduled a meeting.

When the On Time electrician arrived I told him what was happening and he prepared a proposal for $229 (without really looking at anything) which he said would be for doing the diagnosis and then he would give me a price for doing the repairs. I explained to him that the person I spoke with on the phone earlier told me that they would do the diagnosis and then give me a price for the repairs and never told me they would charge for the diagnosis. He then told me that is just the way it is.

Needless to say I wrote him a check for $59 and asked him to leave. I then called the main office number and explained the issues with them and they said they would have a manager call me.

About 30 minutes later I received a voice mail message from John Garbowski (I assume the owner). In his message he stated I was misguided and they never told me that the $59 would cover all of the repairs which I never said in the first place. I then called John back and when I told him who I was he abrubtly stated that he saw my review on Google and he was calling his attorney. He then called me an asshole and hung up on me. I tried to call him back a few times to explain my complaint but he did not answer his phone.

Luckily, the next electrician I called was able to come out within a few hours and repaired the electric issues for a total cost of $80.00. So even with the $59 trip charge I paid On Time and the $80 for the other electrician I still paid nearly $100 less then what I would of ended up paying these guys for a diagnostic test..

In closing, I feel like the intial person I spoke with at On Time misrepresented the charges to me and based on my short and very unprofessional experience with the owner I would highly recommend anyone considering using this company do their due dilligence before doing so.

I have used this company a few times at my self-storage facility in Baytown. They showed up promptly and gave me reasonable quotes for the work that I needed done. They finished the jobs on time and did the work correctly. If I need any electrical work again, I will give them a call.

We had an attempt to brake in our home last night, my husband was out of town on business and thus, could not repair the light above the garage.  He found this company who accepted to come out to repair the light.  The electrician came, could not repair the light, but changed the light bulb which we provided him with and charged us double the amount agreed upon on the phone.  He assured us he would come out the following AM to replace the entire fixture, but did not show up.  Called him 1 1/2 hrs after his appointment only to learn he will not be able to make it till 7:30 pm, an appointment he did not keep either.  It is a big shame that this electrician name Luke Perry took advantage of an already vulnerable & bad situation.
