Joe showed up in a mask and upgraded our circuit breaker professionally and quickly. I tried reaching several electricians before getting ahold of Thomas Edison Electric, and they were non-responsive. Once I found these guys, they responded right away and fixed our issue the following morning. I will definitely call them again next time I need an electrician.

Highly recommend!! I had to get lots of work done on my home per a home inspection report and the township's C.O. Michael came out at 7:30 in the morning and worked off of a checklist, completing everything before noon. Very friendly, very professional, very competent. Brian (the owner) ensured that everything was working before they left. The price was reasonable, and I will certainly use them again. Great job, McGoldrick and Paul!

Chris did a great job rewiring all the knob and tube stuff in the house. He went above and beyond--if he found an issue , such as the dodgy wiring with the bathroom light, he just fixed it. He also, without even me asking, tidied up the lighting for a bedroom closet--before there was cord that went from the closet, through the doorway along the floor, and then had to be plugged into a socket in the bedroom. It was such a pain I never used it. He tidied it all away and now there is a switch in the bedroom that turns on the light in the closet. I would certainly use him again for any electric work, big or small.

Contacted Positive Electric and Power recently when I realized my small electrical repair was more than I could handle.  John was quick to come out, access the issue, and offer a recommended repair.  The whole job was done in a fraction of the time it would have taken me and John left the area in perfect condition.  Would highly recommend!

My Generac generator failed to start after a power outage. I called several other electrician's and their prices were ridiculous, they want to gouge you. Worst offender was Murray Electric, total ripoff. Powell's came the next morning at 7:30 am in the freezing rain. Their generator guy Ed put up a large tent so he could work on it. This was not an easy repair. After diagnosing the problem he had fixed and running in two hours. No parts were needed so all I had to pay for was labor. He was honest, others would have gouged me with unneeded parts. This is a good company that is honest and treats the customer fairly.

If you have an older home with somewhat questionable wiring, I don't think you can do better than Anton Electric.  They are familiar with conditions found in older homes, and up to date on the latest products available to address past problems and increase efficiency.  I won't be hiring anyone else for work in my 90year old Philly row home - I've found my guys!

I purchased a new ceiling fan last night for my bedroom and realized that I needed a professional (long story). I contacted this company well after business hours and they responded anyway. Al came bright and early today and installed my new fan. Al was punctual, professional, and accurately completed the task within an hour.  I will definitely use his services again in the future. Lou is an electrician that I trust and would highly recommend to anyone. He's  experienced and extremely knowledgeable and can handle any electrical job or project. Ive used him for over the years for a variety of work,  including replacing my old knob and tube outlets, replacing the original chandeliers in my dining room and installing an outlet for my dishwasher and 220 air  conditioner. He also replaced the knob and tube wiring and outdated outlets in my aunt's  house.  He's a true licensed electrician,  not a technician. Lou is as authentic as they come!

We needed our circuit box replaced asap after a small electrical fire. Thomas Edison returned my call within ten minutes and had someone out within 2 hours. Vasyl was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely recommend and would use again should the need arise.

I find it difficult to reconcile the favorable reviews here with my distasteful experience with Theo Linde.  He won't answer his phone -- ever.  He insists his customers communicate with him only by email, even to schedule an appointment.  He takes forever (WEEKS!) to respond to emails.  He refuses to discuss his proposed work -- including specifications.  (Reputable contractors don't do this.)   Then, an hour before he was scheduled to begin work, he sent me an email increasing his price significantly, saying he was just getting around to reading his emails.  Really?!   He may be a decent electrician, but not worth the frustration of dealing with him.

Been using Tom for around 5 years now and never had a problem. Quick to respond and does great work. I always recommend Tom to friends.
