$40 Trip fee, $400 JUST to diagnosis the problem, enough said, wasting my time, and the phone number, customer service agent knows nothing at all

Called these guys based on the good reviews.  The electrician came out, and I went over the history of the kitchen remodel (from the February freeze a year or so ago).  He didn't look at any of the switches, or the outlets above the counters, just the box.  He explained that the box was old, and he wouldn't look at anything unless the box was replaced for the tune of $5200 or $6800, depending on which option we selected.  

I called another electrician who asked if the lights worked before the new cabinets were hung.  The repair, including swapping out a 220 circuit breaker with a 110 circuit breaker, was $240.  The electrician rewired the outlet at no charge.

The lesson I learned, call older people since they have the experience to troubleshoot.

Staff was friendly, showed up same day.  (Shawn) fixed the issue and answered all questions.  Even though I just had an small problem some other places wanted to quote me $125-$250 just for showing up before even identifying the problem or answer any questions.  I was appreciative of their low service fee and able to diagnose and communicate with us upfront.  Always great to deal with a honest business from price quotes to service.   Would definitely work with them in the future!

5+ stars for The Local Electrician! I called to get an estimate to have a ceiling fan installed because I was stumped. The electrician called me back in less than 5 minutes. He asked great questions and explained to me he thought I had everything I needed to install myself. I checked after we hung up and he was absolutely correct! I truly appreciate that he took the time to explain everything to me, did not push a sale and was supportive of me doing it myself.
Next time I have electrical needs I will 100% contact them to do the work. This is an honest company and I would have no hesitation hiring them in the future! The way the handled my question shows me they have integrity and that is very much appreciated.

This is like a miracle, checked my problem told me how to fix it myself and didn't charge me a penny, I did give him a tip.  This type of services is rarer the chicken teeth.

The Local Electrician team did an outstanding job getting our home up to code after a recent home purchase. They went through the inspection report with me and being our new home is 20 years old, there were a few things that needed updated.

We took the opportunity to upgrade some lighting and fans they did a great job with those upgrades. They were very responsive to our needs and timing and did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical needs.

Local Electrician did an exceptional job. They fixed an indoor issue I had with a light switch. Afterwards, they gave me a quote on a new fuse box (we desperately needed one) and I accepted since they were the lowest I've gotten. The next week, they changed the fuse box and goose neck and now we don't have to worry about our breakers failing to trip. Thanks again!! I highly recommend their work.

I was happy with the work they did fixing my wiring issues, which took problem solving and they were great at that. Also installed ceiling fixtures with remotes and dimmer switches that are really smart and cool. Not the cheapest, but they were experienced, knowledgeable, solved my issues, and made sure I was satisfied.

I can't say enough good things about these guys!. I had 3 different electric companies come to my house to give me a price estimate for the light fixtures I needed to install. The first was one of the big companies and they basically told me that I had to break the bank and get new everything, that my house was on the verge of getting set on fire by Lightning and surges. I'm a new home owner and don't know much about these things so after that scare (and the super high price) I decided to do my research and look into some good family run smaller businesses that may be a little more honest with me regarding the work that needed to be done and the installation of my lights. Someone more consumer oriented. I found two really good companies, one of them was Matthew Arnold, the owner of the local electrician who personally greeted me and was really honest and friendly. He made me feel much more at ease and told me that I was not in danger but only needed a few things updated to be safe at home. He also gave me a good price for the installation of the fixtures and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his college Lee were here yesterday and they were very good! Efficient and friendly!. I'm very happy about my choice and I'm sure that if anything should go wrong I'll have an honest and hard working professional to turn to!. Thank you Matthew!

Matthew was very responsive, showed up when he said he would, assessed the problem, clearly communicated the repair details, obtained the parts, and did the repairs...all within a few hours.  I had an unrelated a.c. concern after he left and he happily returned to check it out and do a reset on the air conditioner.

I have search for a contractor in all the trades that actually walked the walk ! I had a very well know neighborhood electrician come out and do some major work at my home and it was so bad it almost burned my barn down and destroy a very expensive swim span because it was wired wrong! Not mention overriding all the safety featured in the gfci systems.  Mathew and Sean came in and reworked thousands of dollars of work and gave me the piece of mind at night to sleep and now my family and home was now safe !

Sorry but you can't put a price on this !

Sean was excellent in giving us a prompt quote for repairs from inspection report. He gave reasonable expect advice and was very real and honest with recommendation unlike other Electrical companies who just want to upsell you on every service. We did not hire yet but just the process and communication and short notice response on our estimate was fantastic. Will def use when ready.

I had a circuit breaker and an oven go out and they were able to come out that same day, diagnose the situation and give me their honest opinion. Which I really appreciated. I able to get both parts installed that same without a wait. Great quick, friendly professional service!

I love leaving great 5 Star reviews and Sean and a local electrician definitely deserves one. He is truly an honest guy very easy to work with. They showed up on time, is very clean and respectful and their work is impeccable. Plus he was cheaper than everyone else I called. I was referred to this company by my realtor to install a new 200 amp panel at the house we just bought. Their bid was 1/3 less than another bid we got. Sean came out for the estimate and was very thorough and professional, explaining everything. The 2-man crew that did the job was led by Lee who was great. Also very professional, courteous and neat. They installed the new panel as planned and it came out perfect. I'm very happy with this choice of electrician and recommend them highly.

Fair and fast. These guys are personable and willing to answer your questions no matter how many you have. Really appreciated their attention to detail. We had them come out and install an outdoor fan and lights and they did an extremely professional job. They were not pushy about trying to up sell us just quoted what we were looking for and got the job done. Highly recommended.

Punctual, efficient and reasonable. I was a little hesitant because of the lack of reviews, but I was very glad I gave them a chance. Matthew was so helpful and has a great attitude.

Lee was cool and very knowledgeable. He replaced our faulty breaker ,and made sure our dishwasher was running okay. The price is also reasonable. Very professional. Highly recommended if you need help with  power issue in your house.

I don't usually write reviews but this company earned it! I did some shopping first and they were very reasonably priced.  The technician took his time to diagnose my problem and quickly fixed it. I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off! He also put on shoe covers to avoid tracking in dirt! I was very impressed by the professionalism and will be using them again in the future!

Awesome job, I purchased a Ring doorbell on Amazon.  After reading the instructions I decided I need help.  Matthew installed it for $52.  Prompt, neat and polite. Best $52 I have spent in along time.  I highly recommend him and will be using him for any electrical needs in the future.
