I am impressed with their punctuality and work to say the least! They worked from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm without stopping to put up to exit signs in a very old building. They did their best to make ends meet. The attic was too small to allow a man to go through it so they came out with another solution and at the end their work looked clean and they gave me more possibilities by opening up other electricity outlets unknown to that building until today, that will benefit many! An IMPECABLE WORK really! I give them five stars.
Humbly speaking from The Right Look Boutique in OLD TOWN SPRING.
Milene Germain.
Called and they came out next day at appointed time. I told them what I needed - just a wire that was exposed disconnected. They said the fee to diagnose (I had diagnosed - see above) would be $319.00 plus the work to be done that they would have to give me an estimate for. I (politely) said no and got a $59.00 appointment fee.
I called another electrician, he was there in 30 minutes, fixed the issue in twenty minutes and charged me a total of $75.00.
I'd just avoid these folks unless you have a lot of money and enjoy being fleeced.
So I called these guys based upon internet recommendations and the customer service representative that answered was sharp and helpful. I explained what I needed and when asked what the cost would be the rep was well it depends on the particulars of the job which your electrician can discuss when they get there. OK I guess. Once the electrician was there I showed them and they looked up the job on a price sheet. I was three hundred and nineteen dollars just for diagnosing what is wrong with a ceiling light fixtures! It would be cheaper to buy a new one and have it installed. Actually it would be cheaper to buy 3 and have them installed. It was another one hundred and twenty five dollars to get a regular dual power outlet replaced. They dont charge by the hour, but I would estimate the total per hour charge would have worked out to about $450 per hour for one electrician. I told him that I'd just pay his trip fee but that he should please leave. There was nothing that I told the electrician that the customer service rep couldn't have looked up on price sheet as well as the electrician did.
The reason its not a one star review is that once I let the electrician know that I felt their prices were way above market and that I had never had this type of a rip-off situation with other service providers from said internet service, he was very sympathetic and didn't charge me the trip fee. No drama. I'm sure the service would have been good, but its very expensive.
I called and made an appointment with on time electric. The morning of the appointment the technician called and upon explaining to him we needed an outlet added above the fire place for a tv, he quoted us a price from $900-$1000. The technician mentioned a trip fee, but when I told him they said there was none when I made the appointment he quickly said oh if they didn't mention it then there is none. When I asked if some people get charged fees and some don't he said it's on a case by case basis.
Bottom Line: Don't do business with this company, they're going to charge you an arm and a leg.
This company's prices are highway robbery . I had not had any electrical work done in years and when they told me the price I said I thought that was expensive, but I needed the work done. I was charged $186 to install a fluorescent light that I bought.
Buyer Beware! !
I called On Time Electric this morning to repair some issues I was having with electrical outlets in my kitchen and bathroom.
The person I spoke with on the phone told me that they charge a $59 trip charge and when the electrician arrives they will diagnose the problem and give me a price for the repairs. I agreed and scheduled a meeting.
When the On Time electrician arrived I told him what was happening and he prepared a proposal for $229 (without really looking at anything) which he said would be for doing the diagnosis and then he would give me a price for doing the repairs. I explained to him that the person I spoke with on the phone earlier told me that they would do the diagnosis and then give me a price for the repairs and never told me they would charge for the diagnosis. He then told me that is just the way it is.
Needless to say I wrote him a check for $59 and asked him to leave. I then called the main office number and explained the issues with them and they said they would have a manager call me.
About 30 minutes later I received a voice mail message from John Garbowski (I assume the owner). In his message he stated I was misguided and they never told me that the $59 would cover all of the repairs which I never said in the first place. I then called John back and when I told him who I was he abrubtly stated that he saw my review on Google and he was calling his attorney. He then called me an asshole and hung up on me. I tried to call him back a few times to explain my complaint but he did not answer his phone.
Luckily, the next electrician I called was able to come out within a few hours and repaired the electric issues for a total cost of $80.00. So even with the $59 trip charge I paid On Time and the $80 for the other electrician I still paid nearly $100 less then what I would of ended up paying these guys for a diagnostic test..
In closing, I feel like the intial person I spoke with at On Time misrepresented the charges to me and based on my short and very unprofessional experience with the owner I would highly recommend anyone considering using this company do their due dilligence before doing so.
BEWARE AND BE READY TO PAY $1000.
BEWARE AND BE READY TO PAY $1000.00hr LABOR
I called On Time Electric to replace a 250v 60amp three phase disconnect that went to my ac unit I had checked the total for parts at a local electric supply was 222.00 and the job calls for less then an hour of labor I was quoted $1249.00 by On Time Electric when I asked why so much he said because of the insurance but could not explain what the insurance was called another company the replaced it for me for 1 hour labor $75.00 Don't wast your time with this business
Looking for a good electrician can be daunting and so expensive! Last year we bought a flat screen and wanted to hang it above our fireplace, but didn't want wires hanging out all over the place. I got several quotes ranging around $500-$700 for rewiring everything behind the wall. I called On Time and the electrician was so nice, personable, and willing to work with us to get what we wanted while still keeping the price affordable. He worked hard and got the job done quickly and the total cost was under $350. I definitely recommend this company next time you have a need for an electrician!
