I opened my business after I lost my job with the I.B.E.W Electricians Union as part of the recession. After one year of unemployment and still no work in the union, I decided to get my contractors license and open up my own service and repair shop. It was tough to get work, however I was diligent and have built a successful business.

I'm so thankful to William for helping me out. I sent a Yelp request at close to 11pm for what I thought was a blown circuit. William responded right away and asked me to call him so he could help me diagnose the problem. Meanwhile, some other quote responses said they could fix it for $280 flat price.
William spent time with me on the phone to see if I could fix it on my own or if I truly needed somebody to come out. It turns out I just needed to put a little more effort into switching the breakers and the power came back on. I was seriously stressing about not being able to work from home tomorrow with the internet out. I am so grateful to him for the help and his time. He didn't ask to be compensated in any way. I offered, he refused. Who does that?! William does!
I will definitely go to William for any electrical needs in the future. He has proven to me that he is trustworthy and kind and I'd be very glad to work with him.
I had a simple electrical issue with some canned lighting at my house. William responded right away, on the weekend, and walked me through some troubleshooting steps over the phone. He ended up sending Mario out to resolve the issue. Mario arrived the same day and was able to fix it within a matter of minutes. I appreciate how responsive William was and that this frustrating issue is now resolved. Thanks!
Bad bad bad service!! Do not attempt to call. Very rude! Ask to come out and help and he was very sarcastic! Saying its too early to come out and keep in mind the buisness says 24/7! Take your business some where else!

I've never dealt with a business person who was so arrogant and demanding. Due to his conduct, I thanked him for his time and said I do not feel we are a good fit.
Then he went Karen on me sending me a message on Yelp because I told him I didn't want to work with him.
Thank God I listened to my gut! What a mess he would have been to deal with.
I'll attach his nasty message for all to see who he really is.
Diagnosed 90% of the issue over the phone. Quote was reasonable, and work was done within 2 days (would have been one day weather permitting). Added two outlets and spread the load out on an otherwise unsafe wiring situation. William was clear about the work, and executed the job within the time frame he provided. He and his helper were done within a few hours and left the kitchen and sink cleaner than when he left. Would recommend him to anyone.
Fast response time and scheduling. Mario did an excellent job on my property for an exterior outlet and exterior sconce lighting. He explained the process and gave me options to save money on the type of materials I could chose to use. The final finishing touches are what I was most impressed with. I left Mario before the job was complete, returned home and 100% satisfied.
Had an emergency electrical situation late this afternoon, 8/25/22. An outlet was alarmingly hot after shorting out and the breaker switches were warming as well. Rather than wait til morning I looked up services on Yelp and found this listing, promising 24/7 emergency electrical services.
Decided to call around 7pm, and owner William answered. Asked for photos of the problem for an estimate and got a quote over the phone shortly after sending them while we were speaking. Told me a technician would source necessary parts and be arriving within an hour.
And he did. Mario was on time and courteous and quick. Very kind and happy to explain what was going on as he went through his work. Payment was simple right through the Zelle app on my phone. Well worth it to keep the house running smoothly and safely.

Our power went out and after Edison confirmed it wasn't an outage, we started calling around to see if anyone could come out and help since our maintenance people on site weren't responding.
The person who answered when I called informed me that they unfortunately didn't have anyone who could come out same day. However, they were kind enough to offer troubleshooting services over the phone for free. With a lot of back and forth, we were able to essentially figure out the issue through process of elimination. Once the maintenance person came out, we were able to restore power more quickly since we already knew the issue wasn't with our circuit box or power connection. I greatly appreciated the effort and help that this business provided even when they couldn't physically come out.
I reached out to William on a week when I was out of power on several outlets across the house connected to a GFCI outlet that tripped. On my own attempt, I decided to switch another GFCI outlet to replace this defective one, and instead of fixing a problem, I found myself now with 2 GFCI outlets that no longer worked. And worse yet, both had downstream outlets connected to my living and master bedroom, so there was no more internet, TV, phone chargers, or anything else connected to those outlets.
William took a call from me on a Saturday and had such a thorough and organized manner with which he tackled this problem by troubleshooting with me on the phone. He gave me possible causes but also walked me through step by step where I should start and I sent him photos along the way. We found out at the end that I needed to reset my breaker, and I reinstalled the original GFCI outlets with all the proper wires in the Lines section then pushed the Reset button. It was incredible the patience and proficiency he showed as an electrician. You can tell he is truly passionate about his work, but also just a kind man who's looking to help out. He did not ask for money in return, when I fixed all the outlets with his help over the phone. Just an incredible guy and an asset to our community, really makes me feel that there are still good people out there.

Got the main panel replaced and the work WC Electrical Services did was great. The city planning inspector passed the project with flying colors.
I needed a licensed electrician asap! I purchased a brand new portable AC. As soon as it started getting nice and cool the power went off ... first time it was late at night then the next day again. I reached out to William who was so informative and kind. I know I had lots of questions but he never made me feel uncomfortable. I actually learned a lot and he helped me understand what I needed to do with my electrical panel. He suggested I get a window AC lower amps. I highly recommend William
I had an outdoor outlet that detached from the wall because the outlet box was improperly installed by the previous homeowner's contractor. Thousands of ants were entering through the opening in the wall and taking over my kitchen. I called William at 10 am on a Saturday morning and he had a technician, Mario, at my house by 12 pm the same day. Mario was professional and friendly and replaced the outlet box and outlet in short time (and did a fantastic caulking job around the outlet to ensure no bugs could squeeze their way into my house). He also did some troubleshooting on my Ring doorbell and, at my request, provided an estimate on installing some outdoor lighting. I was looking for an electrician to help with flickering dimmer lights. I stumbled upon William. Instead of coming out to my house to troubleshoot, he literally walked me through the process (on the phone) to fix the issue. Not only did he save me the stress, but he saved me so much money. I cant thank him enough. Honest and resourceful!
Excellent experience. Looking for an extra star but I guess 5 is the highest. Talked to them on phone and William went through everything to make sure it wasn't just something like a tripped breaker or something that didn't need a service visit. He told me price up front and his guy was here within the hour and had it fixed quickly. I forgot his name but very friendly and professional.(guy with the nice Camaro) Any way they are now my first call.

Can't thank W C Electrical enough for your help especially on a Sunday! I reached out to several electrician companies on a Friday for electrical work that I needed done over the weekend. Most did not work on weekends or were too pricey. Spoke William and he said he would have Mario come out on Sunday morning. Mario was a true professional. Even though it was a Sunday, he did not rush anything. He took his time to make sure everything worked properly and explained everything in detail. He made sure to thoroughly clean up after himself and said to reached out if I needed any else or had any issues. Thank you again Mario and W C! WOW, 5/5 stars all around. William is exactly what he calls himself, a troubleshooting expert. Tried to change a chandelier in our home ourselves, however, ended up losing power to half the house. Called William to tell us our issues, and he spent the time to troubleshoot for us over the phone. He is extremely knowledgeable and after listening to what we had to say, he gave us a list of things that could have gone wrong. We did everything he suggested, and bing bang boom we fixed it! He explained things in layman's terms and made things so understandable. Truly, if you have any electrical issues, give William a call. Do not even bother calling this service, really sarcastic and arrogant on the phone. I was calling to get quote on installing a 50 amp breaker, He quoted $800 without even asking for install location or how far from the panel, it was more important to justify why prices are too high.
I called William this morning needing to know if he could come out and look at our bathroom outlet that wasn't working. I had never used his services but he was local and had good reviews. He asked for me to send pictures over of the gfci and panel. About 5 minutes after the pictures were sent he called me and started explaining how to properly wire the gfci. I was lost. So, I asked if he could explain everything again for my dad and he did. Then William stayed on the phone for 15 minutes walking my dad through the wiring. 15 minutes later and we had a working outlet! I am so happy that honest, good hearted people are still around. He saved us time and money and we are so grateful. He has earned us as customers for life.
It was excellent working with William and his team for our residential electric needs. He will give you an accurate diagnosis of the problem and come in with a fair price. He is very transparent and will let you know your problem and the potential hurdles. When he hits a hurdle, you will know what it is and what he's going to do for you to make an informed decision as a homeowner. I got 9 estimates for services and he was not pushy to get hired and did not push for unnecessary premium options, unless that's what you want. I appreciated his timeliness, accuracy, and transparency. Pricing-wise, he is very reasonable and that is all you can ask for in a contractor.
I have used WC electrical for all my electrical issues. William is professional and he is very knowledgeable. He gets the job done and he's always on time! If you have any questions he will explain everything to you. He is prices are great and he will get back to you as as soon as he can. I will recommend him to any friends and family. Hes the go to guy for an electrical issues.
I contacted WC Electrical Services to inquire about have some outlets in my kitchen and bathroom replaced that were no longer working. When I reached out to them, I was informed that someone could arrive the following morning. Not only was William on time, he was early.
What I had been putting off for so long took William under an hour to replace the outlets. He accepted my card for payment and my outlet problems were NO MORE!

I called William this morning thinking I was going to have a huge bill for an issue that I was unfamiliar with since the installation of my stand by generator. William had me send him pictures of my panels and install and explained now there's two with the transfer switch and literally talked me through fixing the issue myself! William also explained how the issue occurred. I don't know this man but I LOVE HIM! Very honest! I have kept his contact and will highly recommend him to anyone that needs work. William actually answers his phone!
Great service! Great price! We got 32 fluorescent lamp replaced with LED. Great work. Attention to detail. Courteous service. Of course most important is price.
I will recommend them and also call them for all my electrical need.

Found William on Craigslist i think? anyway this guy was great! Yes he might be a little rough around the edges but this guy is good! His pricing was good, he got the job done and even two months later when we had an issue with the outside outlet he was super responsive and quick to address the issue. We were a little skeptical using him due to some of the reviews on here but don't let that deter you. He is a good guy and is honest. He's not like those super professional companies that up sale you. so if you're expecting that its not what you're going to get. Its a small company with honest work and affordable prices. Not sure what the last review was about by the way? He wasn't creepy at all? He's actually pretty funny and has an undeniable Jersey attitude.
This YELP review is long overdue. I've known Will for 6+ years. I first met him when I was living in Anaheim and I had a horrible , flaky electrician that I fired and was looking for a new one and I found Will. He came and finished everything in a timely manner and a great price. Since then I have referred him about 5+ friends houses for re-wires, troubleshooting and upgrades in the panel. Everyone has been happy with him.
I had a little emergency in one of my rental properties yesterday, I called Will and he came over within 1 hour. Best part Will figured out the problem within minutes. Had nothing to do with my house, it was a bad meter and the city replaced it next day for free!! Will wouldn't even take my money for the service call until I had to threaten to punch him in his gut LOL...

Here is the deal with Will, he's an old school New Yorker type of guy. Some people might get offended or think he is harsh but the guy is straight up cool. Super funny guy just have your guard down when your talking to him and you'll see what I mean. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest electrician and doesn't want to get taken advantage off.

We had a mystery electrical outage in our exterior lights. William and his apprentice Christian came to the rescue, finding the problems (there were 3) which started in 1973 and cascaded to result in the current outage. He saved us from a slowly evolving problem which was closing in on calamitous. Price was right for all the expertise and tenacity they showed. You can't go wrong with William of WC electrical.

On separate occasions, we attempted to install a recessed light and an outdoor plug only to short the electricity. William and his crew rectified the issues and got our electricity up and running. Called on William again when our new stove top required an outlet for the electric ignition. Couldn't be happier with their service. Look forward to working with them in the near future.

Called Will this morning and they (together with Eric) arrived at my house earlier than the appointed time. They inspected the issue, which was more complex than I thought, made his recommendation and when I agreed, they started working on it and eventually got it fixed. Will and Eric are very professional, knowledgeable, and corteous. Will took his time thinking how to resolve the issue and was very honest with his dealing. Great job guys! Keep it up.
I was asking for installing the electrical sub meters. They called me back immediatly and explain how it works, how to split the number, also how do they charge. It is very clear and professional. I like the customer service.
We had a specialized switch that was out. I called William at 4pm and he was in our office fixing things at 8am. Even called me at 7:30 to discuss the part and his timing.
Honest guy. Does what he says he's going to do and super friendly. Very fairly priced.

This is how service businesses should be. Straight-forward, no upselling, quick to respond, on time, quick work. I sent message on Yelp over the weekend for a quote not expecting a response until Monday, but I got a response almost immediately. Explained my problem, was given a straight answer and quote. Quotes were comparable to the other responses I got, so I decided to just make the appointment with WC since they gave the most straight-forward and quick response. Requested Monday morning appointment at 9. Arrived early at 8:45. Quick work. Explained everything. Will definitely use WC again when I need electrical service.
I called William on a Saturday for a problem, and he took time to try to troubleshoot it over the phone so he wouldn't have to come out and I wouldn't have to be charged. Unfortunately due to my limited knowledge we couldn't figure it out, so he came early Sunday and figured out he problem and fixed it immediately for me, and also gave me some advice for future upgrades or potential issues without being overly pushy or alarmist. Would definitely recommend for any issues, and will definitely be using William in the future. I get very excited when I use local businesses that are run properly and can get the job done.
Found WC Electrical on Yelp. Skeptical about some of the other electricians that have way too many rave reviews and sound too good to be true. WC was local and responded to my estimate request in less than an hour. We set a time for the following day. He called an hour and a half before our agreed upon time and asked if he could swing by. An electrician that shows up early? Of course, come on by! The owner's son did all the work, but the owner supervised. I was happy with the work and the very reasonable price he charged. His estimate was 75% lower than the number one listed electrician by Yelp when searching my area. Need some other work done in the future and will more than likely be calling WC for that, too.
I called William around 1pm on a Saturday since my power was out and SCE told me that there were no reported outages. He answered and told me that he would come by after his current job. Good on his word, he came out and told me that the power was out due to an accident involving a light pole. He checked my box even though it was a neighborhood outage. And he was very nice and didn't charge me for the visit. I will definitely call him for future electrical problems. He was good humored about the power outage and just checking the box. A really nice guy!
WC came to offer a very reasonable quote for installing 3 ceiling fans which required wiring the switches to power as well as installing cabling and power outlets for my TV wall mount. Gotta love the New Jersey charm. Highly recommend and will use again

William was able to provide a quote for me to replace some gfci outlets and was also able to come out the next day. He called me before he came and he and his helper replaced the outlets and cleaned up any mess they made after. Good service and prices.

I haven't received actual servicing from William yet, but I did call him to ask about an electrical issue i was having regarding my bathroom ceiling fan, all the others I called just told me that they had to come in and charge me to fix it. On the other hand, William was very kind enough and honest enough and knowledgeable enough to tell me how to fix it myself, which I did. Who does that? He has gained a new customer as well as my trust. Thanks William.
I had an outage at my house and called to see if I could get someone down to check it out. The electrician was incredibly friendly and took time out of his day to answer/provide us advice about our issue free of charge.
My kitchen lights--long fluorescent lights--were flashing in a strange way. I called William and he was able to diagnose the issue even before coming out. In just a couple of days William and his assistant came over at the appointed time and did a great job fixing the issue within just one hour.
A great electrician is so hard to find, so I'm thrilled to have found William!
Last week, my dad's house in Downey had some electrical issues with the front and side porch lights. William came out to the house within an hour of my call. He met with my 85 year old dad to diagnosis the problems.
After looking at the front porch light, William didn't find a problem. So he plugged in a light bulb, and it worked fine. The problem wasn't electrical, it was the 3 bad light bulbs that were tried before!
The side porch light has a broken part that needs to be replaced. William quoted dad a very reasonable cost for the part and a return visit. He'll be back on Monday to fix that light.
After he left dad's, William called me with a summary of the service call. He wasn't charging a fee for this visit to replace the front porch light bulb especially for a senior citizen, that'd be just wrong. And he let me know that he'll return on Monday to fix the second porch light.
My dad likes William and described him as very professional and a nice guy. Which is quite a compliment coming from him. I'd recommend William to anyone needing an electrician that knows his stuff and is a great person!

William was able to figure out the problem and completed the work sooner than he expected. Charged me less than original quote since it wasn't as much work as he originally thought.
I called around for quotes to do my 200 amp upgrade, most quoting 2500 +/- a few hundred. Then I contacted William, he asked a lot of questions in regard to my upgrade as to give me the most accurate quote possible. After speaking with him for 20-25 min. Or so I was pleased with his quote and time frame. He performed the work as expected and on time. I couldn't be happier with his work, very clean and thorough. Roughly a week later I noticed a few outlets in my garage were not working, being the only change was the upgrade I called William and talked to him about the issue. He immediately said he would come and take a look at it but was confident his work was done correctly. He then gave me over the phone advice what to look for and any possible issues (still thinking it was the panel) I described what the breaker was doing and he put me right on the problem. I had an old garage outlet was bad causing the breaker to trip. Fixed it myself and saved some money. William is a knowledgeable electrical technician, he saves you money from those cookie cutter companies by eliminating the middle man. I would feel 100% confident recommending William to anyone.

Called to have a patio light removed. He said he was coming at 8:30 AM .he showed up early 8 am. How about that , handymen are never on time and he was early he did a fantastic job very nice person, no problems at all. he kept apologizing because it wouldn't even take him an hour but he would have to charge me for one hour good prices I will definitely use him in the future and I recommend him to anybody looking to have work done.

William from WC Electrical is a no-frills, hard working electrician. I needed some troubleshooting with the hardwired smoke detectors, a few outlets in the garage, and an install of an external outlet. He gave me a reasonable estimate, went over all of the steps included in the time he was quoting.
He arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) and got to work right away. Got the smoke detector issue solved in about 10 minutes. He found that the wiring for the garage outlets had been cut at some point and tried to troubleshoot for another 45 minutes. We talked about the situation and my options and gave me a few minutes to think it over while going to work on the outside outlet. After deciding not to further chase the issues with the garage outlet, he finished up the outside outlet, double checked all his work, and charged me for the 2 hours he was there.
Overall great experience, reasonable pricing. William knows his stuff.

I live in a neighborhood where people drive in to make U turns. One day a Charter van was leaving my cul-de-sac and knocked over my street lamp. I called a couple of electricians hoping they can help me replace it. All the guys I called took a look at it and never responded back. Later, I found Will and decided to give him a call. We set an appointment to have him check out the lamp the next day. He was on time, took a look at the lamp and explained to me how the lamps on the street work, how long it'll take for him to find the exact lamp (it had to be a city approved lamp) and how long it will take to install. It took him a couple weeks to find the exact lamp, which I didn't mind because he updated me every step of the way. He was able to find the exact street lamp from the original company who built it and was able to put it in a couple weeks later. The lamp is now installed and it looks great! Will was very informative and understood everything that I wanted. I will def work with Will again for all my future electrical needs! Thanks again Will
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! He started the job like a normal person would. After about 15 minutes into it I hear someone smashing something on my front lawn. I walk outside and see the owner smashing his phone on his ladder, swearing and then throwing it on the ground saying it won't work. I ask him to leave and he asks why and said he was just trying to fix his phone. He's just an angry person that can't control his temper even as a grown man. Sad. He then tries to charge me $100 for the work he already did. Use someone else.
Called William up and explained I needed a panel upgrade from an original installed in the 60's and a 220 ran for a new jacuzzi installation. We had just bought the house and we were really looking forward to having a jacuzzi put in by recognized the existing panel wasn't up to par. William gave me a break down over the phone and I asked him for an onsite to finalize the costs. He showed up (despite bad weather) later that same day and stood by his original estimate and cost breakdown. I don't make decisions based on price but based on professionalism, reliability and I do consider intelligent reviews when making decisions. William was cheaper than all the other estimates which didn't include the electrician getting the permits. Apparently some electricians feel there time is more important than the customers. William handled the job from beginning to end, in a shorter time frame than the other electricians quoted, and we had no issues with the permits and sign off. I stood by the inspector just to make sure everything was good and for him he simply said no issues and was in and out in under 10 minutes. Well done William! All of this was done during the great storm of 2017 ( it's a joke as we never get rain in SoCal). William patched, plastered, color matched all of his work, cleaned up after himself with each visit, showed up on time or earlier than promised and stayed in communication during the entire project. I highly recommend William and will use him again for any electrical needs.
Never showed up to the appointment he never called. When I called wife said he hurt his ankle find someone else never had the courtesy to call me and cancel. I would never ever recommend him to anybody. Your response was false I called you and your wife answered and told me she was going to call me and I have proof that I never received a phone call from you I'm a very understanding person if you would've called or your wife and told me that you were hurt we could reschedule I don't know why you're making up a story that you called me you never did and you never try to reschedule again I only have a cell phone and I have proof that I have never received any phone calls you and then I called you twice. Please don't make me out the bad guy I just think your unprofessional.
I made an appointment for William to come out and replace a flood light/motion detector I broke while trying to clean it. He noticed he was going to run a few minutes later than the scheduled appointment and promptly phoned me to tell me so. Wow! Professionalism! I so appreciated that. He still arrived at the right time and did a great job replacing the light. He is both professional and personable. I wish every contractor I have to deal with could be as efficient and pleasant as William! I highly recommend his work if you have electrical needs. Thanks, William, I shall definitely call you should we have another electrical issue!
Did not show up at appointment time. When I called - put his wife on the phone and came up with a phony reason that truck was broken down on the freeway. He lives 2 miles from my house so I think he just forgot and would not admit it. I offered to reschedule but she just refused. Very weird behavior. It would have been okay to just come and say he forgot the appointment (happens to the best of us) and rescheduled. But he was Flaky AND dishonest. Would not recommend
William helped us with a difficult troubleshoot involving 25 year old breakers and old shoddy electrical installation. He eventually found the problem and fixed the issue. It was not an easy job but he figured it out and the house power is working 100%. He even fixed some older outlets that had not been working. Thanks William!

William did an excellent job on electrical panel upgrade work and outlet installation at my home. He gave good honest advice about the upgrade, and pricing was very reasonable. I will call him again for any future electrical work.
