This literally the first yelp review I ever wrote. Jimmy was a life savor!! He answered right away and was here by my apartment in 10 mins!  He was done in less than 5 mins! I would definitely recommend him. Prices are reasonable as well.

Great, easy experience from start to finish. I was looking to have some dimmers and a closet outlet installed in a home we recently purchased. Jason provided a fair estimate, got us scheduled within 2 weeks (and then was able to fit us in even earlier than our original appointment) and the whole project was a breeze. His crew was polite and professional, did great work and cleaned up on their way out. Highly recommend, total pros.

Mike and his team did a small job for us and we were very happy with the result. Mike was very courteous and prompt with his communications as, and the work they did was great. He sent a number of people to come and do the job, so it was done very quickly. They also took a lot of care thinking about the placement of everything.
I think the price was fair, not the lowest quote we got, and not the most expensive. We wanted to make sure it as done professionally, and we are pleased with how it turned out. l will definitely use them again.

I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar.  He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house.  There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro.  He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced.  Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

I bought a cooktop that needed installation. Best Buy came out and was unable to install because of the oven and stove using the same line. I called No Shorts, and was told I could get a same day appointment. Stanley came a few hours later and created a new line, installed the cooktop, took the old one with him, all in under an hour. He was very conversational and pleasant. Very pleased and will definitely recommend. Also, the individual I spoke to on the phone was great.

Xavier was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He was on time, organized, proficient, neat and also very reasonable. He was able to come the same day I called. I would definitely recommend him and use him again for future projects.

Serge was very efficient and honest. He came on time around 10 a.m. and left his tools and the ladder after seeing the wall heights. We have 12 ft walls so he needed a tall ladder. He returned after 45 mins as there is no free parking near our Condominium and he had to park almost 7/8 blocks away. He put up all the paintings as well as the Zebra skin on the wall properly. We were delighted with his work. He didn't waste any time even though he was working on an hourly basis. He also started his time after parking the car.

I certainly recommend him highly for any installation job.

We called this company based on Yelp reviews in a pinch when the old chandelier in our new house caught fire at 7:30 pm on a weekday. No kidding. We looked at 24-hour electricians with five-star reviews and Fuentes was one of them. I called, Jamie answered, I told him the issue and that I wanted the chandelier removed tonight and to go to sleep knowing there wasn't a wiring issue I needed to worry about overnight. He gave me a reasonable price to come over and diagnose the problem and said it would cost a bit more to install a new light and dimmer (once he got here and he figured out what the problem was). He was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. We will definitely call again! Highly recommended.

Had a problem with our stove wired improperly. Made a call to York Electric. Young man named Tommy arrived same day I called and came right on time. He was very knowledgeable, professional and honest. Fixed the problem in no time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. I spent a while trying to track down an electrician who actually had a phone and would actually call back. It's not easy! Then I found Gambi on yelp. They picked up the phone, scheduled an appointment, showed up and did the work. Eugene was my guy and he was terrific, he explained everything, gave me choices about how to handle issues and was clear about costs. Btw 175 for coming to the house and 100 each hour after that. Totally worth it for the work they did.

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

My tenants bathtub was clogged.  I called handyman guy and Ciro gave me an estimate over the phone.  He came to fix the problem.  Bathtub was unclogged!!!  Very reliable. Stuck to the price that was quoted over the phone. He also helped me with my sink too for a very minimal charge.  I will use him again for any other handyman work that I made need.

Had these guys reroute an electrical line in my place after the poorly installed one fried. Super professional, friendly, let me know if have an opening before your appointment. Already have a quote to install new lighting fixtures. Highly recommend.

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
