This literally the first yelp review I ever wrote. Jimmy was a life savor!! He answered right away and was here by my apartment in 10 mins!  He was done in less than 5 mins! I would definitely recommend him. Prices are reasonable as well.

A great resource for your electrical needs. We worked with Sein Me on the installation of 4 ceiling lights in our hallway. Prompt and professional interaction the entire time. We will use again!

Jason and his team were amazing. I had many questions for Jason about feasibility of doing certain projects and he answered every single question I had.  When I was ready to have work done, his team showed up on time and were super friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them again for any work around the house.

I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar.  He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house.  There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro.  He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced.  Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

No Shorts Electric completely knocked it out of the park! They updated our 50's-era electrical panel to a modern, 200-amp system for our 2-family house. Now the house is finally ready for the 21st century! Estimates are free and -- this is important -- comprehensive. I knew there wouldn't be any surprises when it was time for payment, which was the main reason I picked them over a rival firm.

Equally important, everyone, from Mike (the estimator) to Dominick and Nick (the work crew) was super friendly, respectful,  and totally professional. The minute Dominick looked me square in the eye and shook my hand when they got here, I knew I had made a great choice. I am already planning to call on them for the next phase of work.

I can't say enough good things about Xpert Electric.  I actually cold called electricians when I bought a house and needed to upgrade to a 200 amp panel.   I spoke to Xavier and he was professional, took the time to explain everything and the most fairly priced.  Recently, I needed a new outlet installed as I was tripping the breaker with my ac.  We called Xavier straight away and he explained everything.  Henry and Jacob arrived early (when does that happen?!?!) went straight to work.  Extremely professional, did an excellent job AND cleaned up everything!!  They will be back again on Monday to complete some more work.  I highly and enthusiastically recommend Xpert Electric and everyone there!

Serge was very efficient and honest. He came on time around 10 a.m. and left his tools and the ladder after seeing the wall heights. We have 12 ft walls so he needed a tall ladder. He returned after 45 mins as there is no free parking near our Condominium and he had to park almost 7/8 blocks away. He put up all the paintings as well as the Zebra skin on the wall properly. We were delighted with his work. He didn't waste any time even though he was working on an hourly basis. He also started his time after parking the car.

I certainly recommend him highly for any installation job.

Jaime did a great job installing our ceiling fans.  He was very responsive from the first call, coming over same-day to assess the job.  Weekend hours and quick to respond, worked with us to find a reasonable price.

They have us a very good price. They came same day. They had the part in stock. They were flexible. They fixed the issue. The price was very reasonable especially for same day. We strongly recommend them.

I called Gambi about a problem I was having with the lights on two fans in my two bedrooms.  Over the phone Eugene figured out what the problem was --(there was a dimmer controlled by continuing to press  the on button on the remote that  I didn't even know existed.  He was so helpful in resolving this over the phone I will definitely call him when i have a real electrical issue and would recommend him to anyone else needing an electricain.

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

I started discussing the project I had with Ciro back in April. I needed someone to add mesh to the bottom of my fence line to deal with rats coming from neighboring yards.  This required digging up a garden and trying to preserve the 70 year old plants along the fence line. He took a look at the job and gave a very reasonable price.  Ciro did the work in one day, came on time, prepared with his own tools and left the job site in a clean fashion (and he provided me with a receipt).  A true professional.   Brooklyn is in the need of a good handyman and I think they found one.  I look forward to using Ciro again in the future.

Good news: The electrician who did the walk through and gave the estimate seemed knowledgeable.
Bad news: It took over a week for anyone to come to my apartment and look over the job. The estimate cost $160. While the job was fairly small, the estimate was over $3,000. When I requested an itemized estimate, I was told they were too busy and they don't do that.  They had a take it or leave it attitude towards the estimate. They were very unpleasant on the phone. Their customer service is what you would expect when you tell the person in the subway booth that there are rats on the platform.

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
