Jason's crew came to help us change a light fixture at our new house and we couldn't be happier with their work. It required repositioning the wires and installation at a place that aligned better with our dining table. From initial scheduling to when they came to our house, the whole process was seamless. The crew did an excellent job to our satisfaction and cleaned the area up better than when they came. Would recommend 100% and use them again. Professional and an asset to the NJ community.

I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar.  He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house.  There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro.  He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced.  Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

The first time I hired No Shorts Electric, I needed last minute help installing an electric oven that was delivered the day before Thanksgiving. The installers from the company I purchased it from couldn't figure out how to properly install it. Dominick was able to accomodate my family the day before a major holiday and literally saved the day for us! Since then, we have hired the company for a few other projects and each time they are prompt and professional. I wouldn't even think about hiring another company! Definitely recommend 100%!

A few years ago I hired Xpert Electric to rewire our house because we had old knob and tube wiring.  They did a good job, EXCEPT that while installing some recessed lights in the living room, they sawed through the ceiling and the floor of the bedroom above, leaving a gash in the floor of that second-floor bedroom.  I actually thought this was perhaps an honest mistake and something likely to happen to any other electrician doing a similar job, but I now think that they are just careless when they work.  Last week I brought them back to install an new outlet in my dining room thinking that there was a low probability of damage.  However, while making the hole for the new outlet, Henry sawed through  the wall and made a gash in the siding on the outside of the house (!).  I know he noticed that he had sawed through the wall, because I saw him go outside and at the time I wondered what he was getting from outside (it was really cold).  He never pointed out the damage to or apologized for it.  For these reasons I can't recommend them.

One thing I just want to add, partly in response to Xpert Electric's answer and also for the benefit of other homeowners out there, is that gashes in 100-year-old wood flooring are not fixable.  You can't swap out the broken boards with new ones, because you can't get that flooring anymore, and even if you could, it would never match the flooring that has aged in place in the house.  The only thing my flooring guy was able to do was fill in the gash with wax, but it takes a real artist to make that wax match the grain of the wood, and unfortunately I have not yet found anyone who can do that well.  That's all to say that the couple of hundred dollars of credit that Xpert gave me on a $23k job for sawing through my floor doesn't even come close to the actual cost of the damage that they did, because that damage can't really be repaired.  I appreciate their latest offer to fix the most recent hole through my wall, but I don't want them to ever touch my house again.  The least they can do is remove me from their ridiculous subscription service and lose my number.

Sergii did a great job!  He was prompt and completed the job very efficiently and neatly. His price was reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a Handyman.

Jaime did a great job installing our ceiling fans.  He was very responsive from the first call, coming over same-day to assess the job.  Weekend hours and quick to respond, worked with us to find a reasonable price.

Alex was the only one able/willing to come same day (Sunday).  He diagnosed and fixed our washing machine very quickly.  Very happy with the service, would call him again for any future appliance repairs.

We hired york recently to do a few things in our house. We had shopped around and got estimates for the work we needed to be done. York came over and were very knowledgeable and gave us a great price. We are happy we went with thia company,  they did a great job and everything in the house works perfectly.  Would highly recommend them to anyone!

After a conversation of what was needed & date time scheduling- he even sent and email with exact information to add to calendar  - they never showed! I called continuously because I took the day off from work to meet the electrician and never received a call back or an apology.

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

I found Ciro through Yelp and so glad I did! He was quick to respond via Yelp and diagnosed the issue with my sink with a photo and video and able to provide an estimate which was much more reasonable than others. He kept me posted on his timeframe to arrive which I appreciated. He completed the job efficiently and charged me the quoted price. Happy to have found a reliable handyman for the future!

I had a couple of small jobs - the kind that it is almost impossible to get an electrician to come for. I called and was able to make an appointment for a specific time. Rocco showed up exactly on time with his own ladder and tools. He was able to troubleshoot my two problems and carry out the necessary work in less than an hour. He was very nice and professional. It was an excellent experience -

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
