Away on vacation, pipes burst... a wonderful neighbor went to my home, turned off the main water value / firemen turned off circuit breakers... now what?
I called Ian (from Scotties Electric). He was unbelievable, immediately he found a Plumber ( i had called many with no luck)... Ian went to my home to meet the plumber who repaired the pipes, and Ian restored my electric, heat, etc... my home would have been seriously damaged had it not been for Ian.

Very disappointed. I spent hours finding an electrician who was avail at a specific time to coincide with our internet provider for my office.
CR said they would be there between 12-1 and confirmed by email.
They never showed up, and when I called, I kept getting a vmail response which says mailbox is full.
So I emailed them - and the person asked where they were and they responded asking me what time they were supposed to arrive. (didn't I request the time the day before and they confirmed that it was at noon? Just scroll up and look at the original email). By 2pm still nothing, and I had to cancel my other service person who I arranged to be there at the same time.
It seems like it is a one man show and no one knows what is going on.
I had such a busy day and spent so much time on arranging, that now it wasted a half day of work and added another day of work now b/c I have to try to arrange and find a new company  to coordinate with the internet company.

I've had recurring power issues in my condo due to old equipment...B-Tec has helped me out more than once. This latest time was a bit tricky and took a couple visits but in the end the power was restored. Prompt and courteous service. Will use again if needed

Look no more - this is your electrician! Roman was able to fit me in on the same day of my Saturday call. A whole wall of outlets stopped working. Roman carefully reviewed outlets on two floors and my circuit breaker and diagnosed the issue - old faulty work from the seller (no surprise). Luckily, Roman carefully restored power and also neatly patched up where he needed to cut into the wall. He was an excellent communicator - both when arranging the appointment, and in explaining exactly what was causing the problem and how he would resolve it. He even drew me a diagram! Power was restored within an hour, and Roman was neat and friendly throughout. Highly recommend!

I was in a jam with one of my rentals and referred to Vin at Aufiero Electric. We had a tricky electrical short and some other happenings in a recent home renovation that was out of my league of diagnostic (and I have a good background with this stuff).

I was able to secure an appointment and the Aufiero van showed up as promised. Vin, along with one of his teammates, were both very nice, respectful and knowledgeable in the field. Professionals to say the least.

Some tests were ran and a few options were given as there was actually a few different things going on here. The house was old, there was some older unused wires and happenings behind a few of the box.

The shorts which plagued us for a few weeks were resolved. All other issues were addressed and the price was very fair for the services.

I recommend giving these guys a call. The job will get done and you will not be disappointed.

They came on short notice to address an electrical concern on a work-in-progress renovation.  They addressed our concerns with the utmost professionalism, and worked with us to plan needed electrical work in a way that was minimally invasive and code-compliant.

They are super nice guys, smart, professional, and worth every penny. Highly recommend this father-son team!

My wife and I came across Connect Electric not through a referral, but just by searching through Yelp.  What a good call on using this company.

We initially met Steve to go over changes we wanted for our recently purchased co-op apartment.  We had a lot of work done right off the bat. Steve installed recessed lights in the kitchen, living room and master bedroom.  We also had him replace the breaker box and install a small chandelier in the dining room.  It was a lot of work and it went perfect.  Of all the contractors we had in our apartment, Steve's work was the best, by far.

When we had the recessed lights installed, Steve worked with me when I suggested going with Smart Lighting.  He pointed out some helpful ideas.  Some I followed and some I did not.  Guess what?  The ones I didn't follow I later came to regret and had to change a couple of switches I had installed.  I should have listened to him the first time! :-)

We've had Steve come in twice more after that initial work.  The second time was for some bathroom lighting fixtures and the third was to install under cabinet lighting in the Kitchen.  Once again, me being the bright guy, I go and purchase the units I wanted installed in the kitchen because they had the features I wanted and were on sale at Lowe's.  Guess what!?!  Wrong units.  Oh joy. :-(  But it still wasn't a problem for Steve. He went out, found better units than I had purchased, at a lower cost, and installed them all in the same day.  Wife was VERY pleased.

Think I'll be using Connect Electric again?  Safe bet.  Steve's a total professional and a damn nice guy on top of that.  I'd recommend him and Connect Electric in a heartbeat.

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

An electrician company battling for business in NYC that does not the first thing about customer service. After calling to discuss business, one of the associates did not even begin to give me the time of day. As I was explaining  our needs the associate hung up, but not before mumbling something under his breath. I can sit here and say I am thankful to never do business with such a B grade company. I'd rather stick a paper clip in an outlet than do business with H & A.

I recently purchased a new home and hired BQ Electric to do several electrical projects throughout my house including installing a new bathroom fan/heater, installing a tv outlet for my big screen tv, installing new ceiling fans and upgrading all the outlets and switches throughout the home. The two guys that were sent to my house did an excellent job and were super neat and clean. All the fixtures were installed straight and level, they cleaned up and vacuumed after each job and were super professional. The owner Brian went above and beyond by having his team out here immediately in order to get the job done before my painter came. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

Requested quote/services for chandelier installation via telephone. Dave is very knowledgeable. Has competitive pricing. Dave was punctual and arrived with Nick. Together they opened up an A-Frame ladder to mount our 36 inch chandelier in an 18 FT foyer. Dave was conscientious and protected our newly installed wood floors without even asking him to do so. They unmounted an existing crystal light fixture. As our luck would have it, our appliance delivery arrived 4 hours ahead of schedule. Dave and Nick closed the ladder to allow entry for the refrigerator. Dave was very gracious about this conflict. They resumed by mounting a medallion, glued, screwed and caulked. Once the new fixture was mounted, Dave wanted us to make sure we were satisfied with the height and had us view from outside the home. The work was completed thoroughly and neatly. Dave and Nick were respectful and courteous. We were so pleased that we asked Dave to give us quotes for future projects and already coordinating our next job. We're very happy to have found Dave, he is personable and easy going. Look nowhere else for honest work.

Great job with two chandeliers. Pleasant and quick (but thoughtful) worker. No problems. Took time to answer questions. Very reasonable price. I will use this company again. Provided a detailed receipt. I recommend using Kunal Electric.

Called this company as I was impressed with the top-notch reviews.  Left message on a Saturday afternoon even though they were supposedly open. Left another message the following Monday.  They never returned the call.  Any company that ignores potential customer needs to have the lack of service weighed in; so, here you go-- 1 star to help muscle down your rating, which you don't deserve. & thanks for nothing.
