Tim is simply fantastic. What a find! I've had him come twice now. In both cases an outlet had failed. Tim was very friendly, gave me his cell number, fixed it with no mess, was incredibly courteous. I will definitely be calling him any time I need some electrical work taken care of around the house.

Showed up at the appointed time and diagnosed a difficult problem immediately.  The repair was swift and efficient and he cleaned up the area nicely.  Very fair price for the work.  I've tried several electricians that serve this neighborhood and this guy is the best.

My wife and I live in an old building and were please to see how fast Gaston was able to upgrade us from an old fused box to a new circuit breaker panel.

I've had to call him up few times and never heard his voicemail, he always picked up the phone which I thought was very professional.

Danny was a pleasure to work with! He responded to my inquiry immediately and was flexible with our schedule. He brought all that was needed, swapped out a new light fixture and was ready to address any additional issues (gaps, new switches, etc.) and installed a dimmer switch seamlessly. Did the entire job in less than 40 mins, and the icing on the cake was how kind he was to my large, loud, but lovely pup. We will definitely call on Danny for our needs moving forward. Thank you!!

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Called to get a quote on replacing the circuit breaker. They couldn't fix it but then said it would be $120 additional just to check the outlets. And charged $160 service charge for nothing. STAY AWAY!!!!

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Called Danik with an emergency issue. Power went out in while house. He was able to get me up and running that night and then completed the job the next day.

Totally cool, did a clean and professional job. Worth every penny.

Wow--the technicians from G&R completely blew me away with their punctuality, professionalism and knowledge of their work. What I thought would be such an electrical headache turned out to be taken off my shoulders and fixed in a breeze. They came into my home, at the time they specified, with covers on their shoes (a pet peeve of mine is when service providers stomp around in my shoe-free home) and provided me with a clear and concise work estimate. They didn't just hand me a piece of paper and leave me to decipher it myself, but took the time to explain what needed to be done and WHY, and what materials and time it would entail. I could tell that safety was their number one priority throughout. As a mom of two little ones, I appreciated the sense of care and caution. Amazing service at a very affordable price. Sergey comes in, gets right to work, and makes sure everything is in perfect working order before leaving. He also communicates before the project better than any contractor I've ever dealt with. We've used him to install ceiling fans, sconces, lights, and fire/Co2 alarms and everything came out perfect. We will absolutely be using his services again.

He was friendly over the phone, and gave me a reasonably priced quote for my problem (I needed a hard line to my old dishwasher replaced with a traditional socket). His price was significantly lower than the other electricians I called for quotes. He showed up the next day and was courteous and professional, and quickly installed the socket. He even explained to me what he was doing when I asked.
