Best Electricians in United States

A few months ago, my building super knocked on my door to tell me there was a water leak inside the wall behind my sink that was dripping down to the apt below. He said it was the building pipes and not my responsibility, but that they would have to chop open the wall under my sink. He said they would patch it and repair any problems from the leak.

They chopped a big hole in the wall under my sink, fixed the pipes, patched the wall, but the outlets in that area stopped working - turns out water and electricity don't mix! (Who knew?)

The building management company insisted that the non-working outlets (and dishwasher on the same circuit) had nothing to do with the leak or chopped open wall, but that they would send their own electrician to fix it and I would have to pay him.

I told them if I had to pay an electrician, I would hire my own, so I hired Warren. He is a licensed electrician and he came and fixed the problem and wrote me a receipt to send to the management company...and they reimbursed me, Yah!

FYI: He is a nice man, but no licensed electrician (or plumber) in NYC is cheap - but you get what you pay for!

The picture is of the hole the super chopped in the brick wall under my sink, that outlet is one of the outlets that stopped working, either from the water dripping on it or from the super pounding with a hammer around it, but it works now....thanks Warren!

James was responsive and able to give me an estimate and schedule an appointment quickly.  He was professional and did great work.  Hire this guy.

Looking to install an EV a charging in the garage. I got several quotes, this was a bit less than others. The work was done well and the inspection from the town passed.

I spent 2 months in BestBuy/ Geek Squad hell trying to get my large  high-end flat panel installed along with Bose sound bar. When Geek Squad cancelled their appointment for the 4th time I found Primo on Yelp. He got someone over to me the same day!!! And he was very reasonable and professional, and the installer he sent (Mike) was awesome. A bracket was missing for the bose they sent Tony and Caesar out the following week after the bracket arrived at no charge to finish the bose install, and they of course did an amazing job.

These guys are pros - 100% recommend. Thanks for saving the day.

We had an outdoor plug that didn't seem to be working so we called and they came out shortly after to take a look. It turned out that the plug was fine and he was kind and not at all annoyed that he had come by for nothing. Gave him a tip for his time, happy with the speedy same day service.

Contacted them as my garage couldn't handle a snowblower and a freezer at the same time (on top of the Liftmaster) -- received some helpful advice and ultimately they didn't need to come out. Professional, empathetic, and helpful -- I would use them again!

Danny from Caliber Electric came immediately to install a wall socket for an appliance. He was professional and very informative in advance about the job. Did a great job. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. This is a great company. I definitely recommend you go with them if you need the services they offer.

We have used Jim & Sons a few times now, particularly because they were always among the most responsive electricians. Nothing worse than never having your calls picked up or emails answered. They were also great in an emergency situation where we needed someone out basically next day, and they squeezed us in. Prices seemed fair in general. We will continue to use them and would recommend

John is cool.  He came and assessed my ceiling fan.  Guess it was not that big of a problem, because he didn't charge me.  He just put a couple of screws in and that was it.  He did suggest we get a new fan.  Old one.  I tried to fix a wobble in the fan, but he said it was normal.  That darn thing almost dropped from my ceiling when I tried unscrewing it.  Darn youtube gave me the wrong advice.  Next time just hire a professional.  John is an honest guy.  I will call him again if I have any future projects.

I got an intercom through another company and I assume it wasn't set up right or whatever. After receiving no replies from the original provider of my intercom I decided it would just be easiest to call another company altogether

I called speakeasy when my buzzer wasn't working, and they were able to get to me same day and fixed my issue. No problems ever since! Very friendly staff as well.
