HISTORY

Established in 2017.
As the first blue collar worker in my family, its definitely been a journey. It all started out many years ago as a summer job on a construction site. That turned into a full time job working in the electrical field in a variety of settings: ranging from high end custom homes, to grocery stores to commercial spaces. Well, I never dreamed I'd end up where i am: owning and managing an a to z full service NYC licensed electrical contracting company.

Lights in house were flickering, completely shutting off and on. Called in the morning and received a helpful tech within a few hours. Was able to change a switch and figured out what was causing the flickering. Nothing on our end and more of ConEdison, but they helped get in contact with ConEdison to make sure a service ticket was in place and on their way. Thanks again!

My wife and I were having problems with a low-voltage track lighting system that was over twenty years old and no longer manufactured. Avi was terrifically helpful in accommodating to our schedule and getting someone out to assess the issue as quickly as possible. Gerry was on time, professional and extraordinarily helpful. More specifically, he patiently diagnosed the problem and ingeniously found a way to rewire the failing track segment thereby bringing it back to life. All the while, he was a gentle, easy presence in our apartment (and tolerated the occasional interference from our three cats with good humor). Not if -- but when given its age -- our lighting fails again we will not hesitate to contact Electrific, just as we would for any other electrical problem we might encounter. All of which is to say, we can't recommend them more highly.

Did great work. But my wife had to handle payment while I was away. And he charged her TWICE what he quoted me. He also created another issue by moving our dryer in front of a window we need access to. When I reached out to him about this. He just relied thank you. Would NOT recommend.

I recently completed a renovation of my small kitchen, and it required various electrical tasks. After dealing with a few other flaky electricians, I was happy to connect with the helpful and communicative folks at Electrific. Avi and his team did a bunch of tasks for me, including several light-switch upgrades and the routing/installation of two pendant lamps above my kitchen island. Avi is friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy -- and he actually listens to you. I'll be relying on Electrific for my future electrical needs.

After an initial problem involving miscommunication on both sides, I ended up contracting with this company. I found their customer service and quality of work to be excellent. Although this was a relatively small job, it was handled with care and professionalism. My husband and I were very pleased with the service.

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

I got up this morning to find that my power was out. I frantically contacted several electricians for help, and electrific actually helped me restore my power. My power was restored within 30 mins of contacting electrific. I will definitely use their services in the future.

He was friendly over the phone, and gave me a reasonably priced quote for my problem (I needed a hard line to my old dishwasher replaced with a traditional socket). His price was significantly lower than the other electricians I called for quotes. He showed up the next day and was courteous and professional, and quickly installed the socket. He even explained to me what he was doing when I asked.

I don't hesitate to recommend this electrician!

The Electrific team was courteous, professional, and they got back to me when other electricians I contacted wouldn't return my calls! I used them to do electrical repairs and to install a new outlet behind my washer/dryer unit and they were fantastic. Would highly recommend them and I will be using their services again.

When a houseguest plugged a charger into a bathroom socket and half the apartment lost power, it was naturally alarming as we didn't know what the scope of the ultimate problem would be. Having just moved to the neighborhood, we weren't certain who to consult and after seeing Electrific's positive reviews and getting one more word of mouth reference we reached out. Avi was totally up front about the rate and was communicative the entire way through, from scheduling to explaining what he was testing and the scope of the likely issue, and his final labor + materials cost felt more than fair. We'll certainly call him again (but hope that it's more of a planned event next time)!

So hard to find a reliable electrician. We wanted to change our thermostat to a smart thermostat and had an idea of what to do but we didn't have a C-wire. Avi and I had a call prior to discuss the job and what it would entail. He was available the next day and his rates are great. Highly recommend!!

Avi is a lifesaver. His team was originally only available the following week. But when I told him I needed the light fixed in the kitchen of my elderly parents, he fit me in after a cancellation within a few hours of talking to him. Very reasonably priced. Came with 2 men to handle the kitchen light and ceiling fan installation to save on time. Arrived on time. Very pleasant and understanding on the phone.

Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job! I hired Avi/Electrific to sort out two malfunctioning ceiling fans. He was extremely good at scheduling, communicating, and the task. It was diagnosed and fixed quickly. I felt 100% comfortable with him in my home--he showed care in ensuring there was no damage to furniture that was near the work area and was one of the most pleasant people I've hired in recent memory. We had time during his visit to tackle a pendant fixture replacement and that was hung perfectly. I recommend him 100% and I'm not someone who recommends everyone I hire. Great work; thanks!
