I called Rishon Plumbing & Water Heaters for a part replacement on a water heater. George was efficient without rushing. He came quickly with someone to assist him. The price was fair and George gave me advice on how to maintain the water heater.

Superb......discovered a major leak under our slab and thanks to fellow Yelpers on this site decided to call Jose of Real Plumbers.....he contacted me almost immediately, met on site, gave me a very fair quote and we agreed by a handshake he would start the next day
Jose arrived on time, with his son Alberto, and what followed was one of the best examples of contractor/ client service i have ever personally experienced...and believe me with 3 buildings i have used many of them!!
No fuss, no mess, polite, respectful, arrive when they said they would, cleaned up afterwards and did a great job ( actually did some extra without adding to the bill)
I want nothing more and 5 stars is the minimum this father/son, local business deserve....if you have any plumbing requirements, call Jose, you will not be disappointed and needless to say he is now my plumbing contractor of choice

Warren is the best.  I found him here on Yelp.  I was looking for someone trustworthy to hook up my gas dryer line correctly and to code.  The previous douche contractors had stuck two lines together - so lazy, hazardous, and not up to code!!  Warren was patient enough to explain every step he was doing to keep my cautious little heart from being paranoid of a possible explosion from occurring at my little house.  Let me emphasize the extremely patient part, because not only do I ask a lot of questions, I also tend to test people's experience.  I was impressed because he was very knowledgeable in answering all my wacky inquisitions.  He is very prompt, not to mention he does a great Robert Downey in Tropic Thunder impression, heehee.

A couple hours ago, I just called him up to come take a look at my bathroom sink because it wasn't draining properly.  He came over within an hour.  It wasn't an emergency.  It took him less than 20 minutes to run a snake line through the pipes to find a piece of plastic clogging things up.  He also found that my douche bag contractors had installed an incorrect part on my drain pipes.  What else is new.  Luckily he always has a bunch of extra parts with him because he is always prepared.  Call them up, you won't be disappointed.

Max was prompt and ready to tackle a clogged kitchen sink. I appreciated his calmness and honesty, he gives great service for a reasonable price! Totally competent and honest company, I'd recommend and would use again

Needed a last minute help with hooking up washer and dryer. They helped us out quickly and expertly. Recommend

Toilet backed up into shower. Needed to find a new plumber and read all the great Yelp reviews for Charlie's. Decided to give them a try. Spoke with Lulu and made an appt for the following day. Ramon contacted me with his arrival time and showed up right on time. He removed the toilet, snaked the sewer line, and had it cleaned out within an hour. He also assured me the line was not blocked by tree roots and was in good condition. Surprisingly we had a cloth rag stuck pretty far down the line.  He ran a 60 ft snake and found the culprit! Ramon was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and left the bathroom spotless. Price quoted for this service was fair and reasonable. This was a great first experience and we will definitely be giving Charlie's a call for our next plumbing issue!

Water heater gave up the ghost and after spending too long trying to find anyone (apparently, finding service on the west side in an emergency means waiting three days minimum), Alberto came up clutch and did a swift turnaround on my dead unit. You have to give props to someone that shows up when they're feeling sick and still does solid, clean, friendly, AND reasonably-priced work for you. Saucedo Plumbing and Rooter for the win!

Chris recently did a repair in my building involving shutting off the water for the building. I requested that he come up afterwards to check the water pressure in my kitchen faucet which had been dwindling. He showed up after he was finished and tested all my faucets.  He affirmed that my kitchen faucet was old and did not have proper filtration. It had never worked very well. I waited until after the holidays to contact his office. Darcy was extremely polite and knowledgeable and scheduled an appointment for the next day to replace my faucet. Chris called me the next morning to inform me that he would be a bit late as he had to purchase a new faucet. He arrived within the new timeframe with a beautiful state of the art faucet. He is very nice and thorough and made sure that I was satisfied with my new faucet. This is a very honest company and not overpriced. Highly recommend.

Miguel was a lifesaver with my flooding sink tonight! My regular plumber was out of town, another never responded, one couldn't come til tomorrow but Miguel saved the day - responsive, efficient and we worked out a fair price. I'm so happy to find a good tradesperson to keep in my contacts.

They came out on a Saturday morning in a matter of hours and completely solved our backed up sewer problem at a totally reasonable cost. They recommended some maintenance down the line, which I was ready to do right then, but they were so honest that I should wait to see if I even needed it. So far so good. All the stars for this business!

Mandel was quick to answer my call and scheduled to come evaluate our water leak issue that day. He followed up with the time frame he would be at the house and arrived early along with another technician in masks and gloves. He assessed what the issue was within minutes of being there and fixed it. Water leaks are stressful, it's reassuring to know we have someone we can turn to the next time we need the help! Thrilled we found him.

I had Jacinto show up to clear a drain and tub as well as adjusting the toilet flapper and shower head. He did an efficient job, and I felt the price was fair. The office was great at communicating. It was a minor job that I didn't want to get worse. I'd call them again when needed.

I cannot say enough good things about Z & H Plumbing! From the time I called to get information to the time they followed up after the service appointment, they were fantastic!

I called Z&H to give me an estimate on replacing my leaking gas water heater. Keith arrived early and spent about 30 minutes with me looking at my water heater and answered all the questions I had (and then some). I got an estimate from another company my coworker had referred over; they spent about five minutes with me and were priced about 15% higher than Z&H. So I booked Z & H Plumbing.

Why I thought their service was outstanding:

1) I wanted a Rheem water heater and they called the day before to let me know that it would be $100 more than what they quoted; they also called to confirm the time the crew would arrive.

2) Keith and Jason arrived within the time frame they told me (they arrived at 8:30 am and the window was from 8-9 am)

3) They wore little booties over their shoes to keep my house clean

4) Their work was quick and efficient. They drained the old water heater and got the new one in within an hour.

5) They were thorough. They added new brass water lines, installed a new pan (there wasn't one before), adjusted and resealed the thing that sticks out of the roof (not sure what it's called), and made sure the drain line was sealed and stable.

When they tried installing the new kitchen faucet, we realized the shaft of the new faucet was slightly too big for the hole already cut in the granite. They had what could be described as a rough file and spent two hours trying to shave the hole so the faucet would fit. When that didn't work, they went back to their office and came back with a drill with a diamond bit, as well as a new rougher file. They spent an hour with the drill and another hour filing more by hand. We were about to resort to calling a granite guy to come drill the hole, when they finally got the hole big enough to fit the faucet! Success!

They also put in a new spout in the master bath that has made a huge difference in my water pressure. It should be noted that the other company told me I would need to break through the sheetrock and put in new water lines to increase the pressure; Z&H fixed it with a $120 spout.

Keith and Jason were professional, nice, courteous, thorough and on-time. They went WAY above and beyond what I believe any other plumber would have done by spending 4 hours trying to get a hole bigger; any other plumber would have said to call a granite guy and they would come back out. The staff in the office was so nice and helpful, too.

Basically, I can't say enough good things about Z & H Plumbing and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Switched to Flood Brothers (Jerry specifically) after my previous long-time plumbers (the once great Plotke Plumbing) unfortunately merged with another company and, in doing so, became a totally different business, one that routinely overbilled for work that rapidly deteriorated in quality (often requiring more work only a few months later).

At Flood Brothers, a total contrast, Jerry and his team are always prompt, responsive, and courteous. They're thorough, willing to patiently explain (and show pictures/video of) all the details as to why they're recommending a specific strategy, and fair and reasonable in pricing. They've even come on weekends, when they had not intended to work, in order to get the job done faster than initially estimated.

I've used them for sewage blockage (roots), sewage line repair, replacing galvanized pipes with copper pipes, and other issues that come with expensive but not mainstream premium bathroom plumbing fixtures.

Highly recommend.

I have used this company in the past to clear drains and like their timeliness and professionalism.  I then went to use them for a more difficult issue with my overflow drain and will NEVER use them again.   The issue was offered to be fixed for $200 which is close to the price they charge for coming out ($165-$185) even though they were already there (fine just get it done).  They cut into my wall and then weren't able to access the spot they needed so the plumber proceeded to try to fix it via a mickey mouse fix from the front of the drain.  This solution wasn't even offered to me prior to cutting into the wall.  

Behind the wall they found backboard which they didn't want to cut into, so then were going to work on fixing it from below (which was already open at the time they did the mickey mouse fix).  The mickey mouse fix didn't work but she still charged me for it.  

Connie (the owner) is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with.  She said I should feel lucky that she is even giving me the name of the drywall guy after I asked her for a week for it.  When I was asking my questions about trying to understand why they are going to fix it from a spot that was already opened NOW that the mickey mouse fix didn't work and why they didn't do that from the beginning her response led with 'OMG this is so frustrating'.  Wouldn't use this company.  Had another company come out after my friend cut into the backboard and they fixed it quickly and easily.

I'm usually in support of women owned companies but not one where the customer is treated like this.
