Sr. Alex came to the appointment on time. He helped me replace my old light switch with the new smart one, and fixed the mess I created from my DIY smart switch installation. He finished the job within 20 minutes and helped me fix another dysfunction power outlet wiring issue without additional charge. Reasonable price , friendly and professional service. They will be to to-go electrician for sure!

I had Optimum Electrical out at my house because I had flickering lights and they immediately diagnosed the problem and showed me what the problem was. I had to dig out my yelp password for this... but it was worth it. Breaker blew last night at 11:30 and created a lot of heat in the box and a terrible smell, but there didn't appear to be a fire potential so I reluctantly decided to deal with it this morning. This a.m. left a message with Brentwood Electrical Experts. Called one other place that quoted an appointment 4 days from now, even though half the electricity in my condo was out. Okay... Thankfully Brentwood EE returned my call 5 minutes later, I texted a picture of my breaker box, about 30 minutes later Roman was at my door and maybe 20 minutes later he was gone. Job done.  Thank you very much!

Our lights started blinking throughout the house intermittently.  It was especially bad after we had a neighborhood power outage.  But DWP told us it was a problem with our main panel. I called another company who flat out told me we needed a new panel (cha ching).  But, the would not tell me specifically what was wrong with it.  My husband told me to get another quote.  So I called Wendy and Phil at All in One Electric.  Boy, am I glad I did. Phil came out and was extremely clear about what he thought the issue was.  He felt it was the main switch (1989 component) and he offered to locate one and replace it.  He gave me 3 quotes in case there was more to it then that once they went in and tried to replace it.  We scheduled work for the following Monday.  But Friday night the switch blew and half of our house was without power.  On Saturday I called to see if someone could come out.  There is usually a larger charge on Saturdays, but Phil waved it since I was already scheduled.  Phil and his son Hunter came to our house straight away and replaced the bad switch ( which was burnt and would have been dangerous to leave unattended).  That did the trick everything is working.  They did it on a Saturday at the lowest rate quoted and helped me with my garbage disposal switch just because they are so kind.  Unbelievable to get this kind of honest service these days.  I highly recommend them and will call them if I ever need electric service again.  Soooo happy

Gustavo and Marcio probably literally saved my life! The wiring in my apartment was 95 years old. That's not an exaggeration, it's from 1922 and never updated beyond replacing fuses with breakers in 1995. I didn't know this of course until some mysterious electrical symptoms led me to ask the new owner of the property to try a new electrician, because the previous owner's handyman had never seemed to get results.

Check out the pictures for what they found! Wires melted in the walls, patched with electrical tape multiple times, sockets sparking inside the walls... Basically it's a miracle that nothing caught fire already. Everything was in such poor shape it disintegrated in the guys' hands as they pulled it out of the wall!

Gustavo and Marcio, along with a small crew, managed to complete a full rewire of the apartment and two attached garages in two days. It should have been more like a 4 day job but they knocked it out in two, staying until 9 pm the second day to make sure everything was done. They even found a sealed-over junction box in the living room ceiling and installed a new light & switch, making this the first time I've had overhead lighting in my living room since moving in!

These guys were BEAT after a 13 hour day but still carefully cleaned up and tested everything before leaving.

What a difference versus previous experiences with electrical work. I felt comfortable leaving my home all day knowing the guys would take the appropriate care while working, and I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted to. And, as a millennial I especially appreciate being able to text Gustavo when I'm away from home while he's working there.

I've asked my landlord to please use nobody else for electrical work ever! Not that I should need any more... I think everything is in good shape to last another 95 years now.

If you're like me living in an older home with mysterious is it haunted? electrical issues, do yourself a favor and get these guys to take a look. I had a huge fire hazard lurking in every room of my house and didn't even know. I'm still in shock!

And, bonus, they like dogs  very important in my household which is run with an iron paw by a very selfish Pomchi who has totally forgotten her humble beginnings as a street dog.

Update 3 years later: Happy to report that the service is as good as it was the last time. Our bathroom light needed a new switch (we thought, but it tuned out that a ballast for the light was bad) and I saw some arcing on our garage overhead light. So we requested Eric once again, and again, he did an amazing job. He showed up as scheduled on Christmas Eve. This time, the job took longer than we expected but Eric toiled away on the issues late into the day. We had plans that evening and ended up having to leave poor Eric outside in the garage working alone while we left. The poor guy worked alone at our house late on Christmas Eve (we gave him a nice tip). But knowing that this was West LA Electric, we also knew that we were in good hands. Sure enough we returned to perfectly functioning lights.

I called a few other electricians for a Tesla charging station, the reason I decided to go with East West was because they are responsive, courteous, and super professional, and reasonable prices. They were prompt in responding where other places took forever to respond.  East West's prices were reasonable, timing was perfect and they worked with my schedule and on the day of the job they arrived ON TIME, were professional, worked safely, and were just so pleasant to deal with.  I would recommend them to anyone with electrician needs and would definitely call them in the future.  Thank you for everything East West.

After some initial problems with appointment coordination and the business cancelling an already set--up appointment one day in advance, the electrician, Sergio, showed up as promised on the second attempt. He made a very positive and respectful impression, and was able to locate and fix the problem in a reasonable time frame. All in all a positive experience.

Excellent job J Powers Electric!  Very happy with the work done and for the impressive effort at a reasonable price.  Smart diagnostic team found the needle in the haystack (the damage that caused the interruption) and had it complete before I could finish my Zoom call!  Masks and social distancing during COVID no problem for this crew.  I would definitely use again and recommend.

I phoned them about loss of power to the loft of our house in the Hollywood Hills, they said they would be over in about 1/2 hour, and they were here in less time than that.  Checked various potential problems, and found an outside GFI plug had been wired incorrectly and water had tripped it, shutting off power to the entire loft area!  Good detective work!!  They rewired this, problem fixed, minimal charge.  I am VERY happy.  Polite, courteous and professional.  I will use them again as required, and highly recommend them.

This summer, I needed a few floodlight/cameras, and 1 regular motion flood light installed.  I checked Yelp and after reading the reviews called and spoke with Eduardo.  I can't remember exact timeframe but he came by to give me an estimate within a day or so.  We schedule the install, Eduardo and his team arrived at designated time, completed the work within the timeframe estimated were kind, professional and left all work areas tidy.  

Recently, one of the floodlight cameras went out.  I called Eduardo, he asked me a series of questions, to help determine if the issue was electrical or technological.  It appeared electrical and Eduardo was able to another technician some by.  Jose came by and had it working in no time.

Showed up fast and wasted little time. Our control panel with all our breakers weren't working. He found the two fuses that were burned, he had to make multiple calls for the part because it was late and many places were closed. Instead of saying sorry I'll come back tomorrow he kept making calls. I really liked that. He knew the emergency we were in and didn't give up. After he replaced and fixed everything we noticed a separate problem with our ice machine and fixed that for a very small fee. Overall one of the best electricians we have ever worked with. Will definitely be calling him again.

I have an in home recording studio that pulls many thousands of watts when running at full tilt.  The house is old and so is the wiring.  I kept blowing fuses and I believe there was a real fire risk, so I called up Belco to re-wire the room and add high amperage fuses and sockets to the room.
Yuri came and had the job done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price.  Now I can pull all the power I need without worry.

I couldn't be more satisfied and appreciative of the work done by the EV Guys. I not only saved a considerable amount of money by going with them, which can be down played if the trade off is poorer quality work, but the final result was a masterpiece of professionalism that's rare to encounter nowadays. In fact, my whole experience with them was pretty fast and smooth.

It's crazy to think of it. When Cesar first gave me his quote, I thought... it couldn't be as simple as he's communicating, while only costing me that much? I had other companies quoting me as high as $500 for the same work. Cesar just explained his process, outlined some other options and got right to it. Within 10 minutes or so he confirmed his original plan would work as he expected, and was done before I knew it. Bruh!!

He was on time, very communicative and his finished work looks like he's been doing this for 20 plus years. On top of that, I sincerely appreciate how he went above and beyond to clean up the sloppiness of some previous work done as well. That's real . I can now charge my EV right from my garage! That's what's up.
