Established in 2015.
My brother Miguel started the company with one goal in mind: to treat every client like family! One day my mother needed a new sewer because our trees where growing in the main sewer line, so we called a plumbing company we got the estimate, my brother and I did not like the customer service that was giving to our mother and by the way the price was crazy. Tired of having contractors rip-off my mother, we wanted to change that by giving the best customers service! In our business we can and at the right price for the job.

Wow, where do I even begin -- Victor is amazing. He responded to my request for a quote in 10 minutes, I called him back, and he was here about half an hour later. On a Saturday night! He does late nights, including on the weekends!

We had an issue with tree roots growing into the pipes and causing them to clog. Victor figured out what the problem was as soon as I described the issues to him over the phone. And his initial diagnosis turned out to be correct. It only took him a minute to unclog pipes and show us what the next steps need to be.

Let me also say that he is super nice and incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I'm saving him in my contacts as the best plumber ever, and will recommend him to all of my neighbors and friends. Thanks so much, Victor!

Victor and his team came back to my property a year and a half after completing our liner job to look into a back up issue my neighbor was having. He ended up fixing the problem that had nothing to do with his work for me. After finishing he came by to check in with me and let me know the work was done. I highly recommend Victor and his crew. I phoned him this morning on a legal holiday ( Monday after Christmas ) and he came out to my house within 45 minutes to fix a badly clogged kitchen sink. Victor came out on a Friday evening in heavy Los Angeles traffic on very short notice. I called him around 6pm and he was at my rental house at 7:30pm. He was very communicative, addressed the clogged waste line, and clarified to both the tenants and me that the issue was due to paper towels that were flushed down the toilet. I appreciated that. My son clogged the toilet and usually I can unclog it with soap and hot water but this clog wouldn't clear. I messaged Victor on Yelp and he responded within minutes. He sent his guy Oscar out the next morning and had my toilet fixed in 5 minutes. It wasn't cheap but it's worth every penny for how quick and efficient they were.

I called in the morning for an urgent plumbing issue- with overflow into bath and showers. Victor said someone would be by at 6pm. He stopped responding to texts after 7:30pm. We waited. He stood us up. Would have appreciated just an honest, won't make it tonight.  Instead, we were just ghosted. We had to change our weekend plans. I could have booked someone else instead of having to wait until the next morning. Had no plumbing during this time.

It's a Saturday morning, bathtub isn't draining, get out of shower and bathroom is half an inch deep in water.  Called my usual plumbing solution who are having a shortage of plumbers.  So I Yelped for Rooters in the area and gave Victor a call.  Super friendly, professional, easy to schedule and within a few hours after calling him, my pipes were cleared.  I would definitely use him again, I highly recommend.

I was having problems with the main bathroom flushing (it would flush normally (occasionally) and then other times it will fill up with too much water and not flush at all). I called Victor's Rooter & Plumbing service assuming the pipe needed to be snaked. Victor was able to get me onto the schedule right away. While they were here, they had to remove the toilet to snake it and notified me that roots were in the pipe. Within an hour, the pipe was cleaned out and the toilet works like it's supposed to. They replaced the caulking at the base of the toilet and it looks as good as new. I also appreciated that they were extremely mindful (and sanitary) when bringing in equipment. All of the employees wore masks and shoe covers. They also cleaned the bathroom floor afterwards so I didn't have to.

Our sewer line was clogged by tree roots in the weekend. I sent out request on Sunday morning. Victor is the first person responded to me and he was willing to work on Sunday. He showed up at my house in 45 minutes .  Due to the thick root, the snake did not work. He called for hydro jets. Unfortunately hydro jets service was closed on Sunday. He came back on Monday and fixed the clog. Because of his quick response, we asked him to do sewer liner for us. They were professional and quick for the jobs.

Victor and his team just left my house.  It started with a backed up toilet.  He came to my house immediately after my initial call for help. He quickly knew what the issues were and resolved them temporarily.  He came back 2 days later and on time and finished clearing the line.

I contacted Victor yesterday due to his 5-star rating and quick response times on Yelp. He answered the phone right away and we set up an appointment for this morning to snake a shower drain. He ended up coming over yesterday evening and took care of the problem in 20 minutes. He even gave me advice on an unrelated plumbing issue. We called Victor on New Year's Eve day with a clog in our kitchen sink. Victor was crazy busy but assured me he would get there by the afternoon.  When he arrived, he inspected the clean-out and quickly diagnosed where the problem was and how to access it.  He neatly removed the trap under the kitchen sink to access the location of the blockage in the pipes in the wall and was able to clear it very quickly. He worked very neatly and made very little mess and cleaned up everything.  He was very neat, clean and professional.  We will definitely call on him again with future issues! Thanks Victor.

I am so grateful to Victor for repairing my
elderly mother's garbage disposal, on a holiday weekend no less!  I found his company on Yelp and called him Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to ask if he could
replace my Mom's disposal because, per my Mom, it had died.  I was not there to confirm that fact, as I do not live near by.  Victor asked me to text him a picture of it and then he gave me a quote to replace it and said he'd be there Monday (Memorial Day).  When he arrived he was able to repair the existing disposal and told me my Mom didn't need a new one -- that the one in there works just fine.  Really appreciate the honest, prompt service.  Will definitely call again if my Mom needs any other plumbing repairs/work done.

You know the sayin I got a guy? Well I'm happy to say that Victor is now our got a guy! He was a total professional with us. Punctual, hard working, and most importantly honest! He took his time explaining the job he was going to do and I never felt dumb asking him a question.
He did a sewer lining for us. Ours had a slip from the main house. He also did all our pipes below my home. 100% hire this guy. Victor is my hero! My AC unit started leaking into my ceiling on the hottest weekend of the year. I called 3 other plumbers/AC repair places who either didn't know what the problem was or didn't have the tools to fix it. Victor came right away (on Labor Day weekend nonetheless!!!) and fixed the issue for me within 20 minutes. Now my dog and I can luxuriate in the air conditioning and not melt in the 100 degree heat. 10/10 would always recommend.

Had a sewer back up over the weekend. Called my usual plumber, they pulled out some tree roots and told me there's still stoppage and i need to replace the broken pipes. Basically no easy fix.

Called Victor to get a second opinion. Oscar and the crew came out first thing in the morning, did the camera inspection and hydrojetting to remove all the tree roots. They even lowered the price for me when i told them i only have two months left on my lease. All i know is two hours later, i can use my toilet again. They are just good guys doing honest work and helping people. Highly recommend

We just bought a home and found out the pipe going to the street was damaged, leaking and needing a sleeve. We got quotes from other plumbers and they were very high and we just didn't have a good feeling about them. gave Victor a call and he was so professional.  He was did a thorough inspection and found that the rest of our home needed the plumbing replaced, we needed a spill out spout installed in the front yard in addition to needing the front pipe lined. As first time home owners we need everything thoroughly explained and he was able to do that for us every step of the way. He and his staff did a great job and repaired everything right on time. His price was very reasonable. We cannot recommend Victor more highly.

Toilet backed up last night.  First thing I did today was look at good reviews from Yelp for a plumber.   Made some calls and sent some e-mails and Victor got back to me right away.   He came and snaked my system and pulled out some huge roots.   The most importnant thing to me was that he came wearing a mask and kept it on the whole time even when he was outside working by himself.  Woud def use him again.

Victor was a God send.  I would give him 10/5 stars if I could.  Not only does he provide professional and competent plumbing service, but Victor is genuinely a good human being with a sincere desire to help others.  After I waited several days for another plumbing company through my home warranty to fix a jammed garbage disposal, I called multiple plumbing companies out of desperation, but looked no further after finding Victor's Rooter and Plumbing.  After hearing my story, Victor was kind enough to help me fix my garbage disposal by walking me through the steps using FaceTime.  It is such a rarity to find people like Victor who are the real deal when it comes to actually caring about customers.  

I am exclusively using only this service in the future and recommending Victor to all my close friends and family who have any plumbing needs. I have had a slow tub drain forever and the last plumber that came said that it was just me turning the water on too high.... I finally called Victor's team when it ultimately clogged and they were able to remedy the situation quickly and the drain works just like new! I had somehow managed to get a piece of glass stuck in my garbage disposal that made the whole system get stuck. Within 15 minutes Victor offered to FaceTime me and walk me through getting it unstuck. And it worked! I'm so so grateful!

Based on the great reviews, I called him twice and talked to him twice. He was very nice and promised (twice) that he would come around and look at the drains. He never came. I understand that people can get busy but there is always time for a short text or a message. Not worth my time.

This is a genuine review and service call that took place on Feb 4, 2021

I like to offer an unconditional recommendation of Victor's services to anyone in need of plumbing/sewer work.  Working with Victor is like having your uncle in the plumbing business, you get a honest assessment from his over 20 years experience and at a very fair reasonable price.  

I had a severe blockage issue in our kitchen and toilet drains due to roots growing into the pipes.  After wasting $400 and almost falling for the crooked ploy to spend another $3600 with Local Service Pro Plumbing (a very incompetent and dishonest company) to install a new sewer line, I rang Victor at 6pm who I found on Yelp and he came over next morning at 9am.

Victor arrived on time and after hearing my explanation of the problem he recommended a logical approach and quoted me $225 to clear the blockage and if it did not work he would not charge me.  Victor went to work and after 45 minutes pull out 10 feet of roots which immediately clear our toilet and kitchen drain blockage.  Even though it took him less than a hour to clear the pipes he was at my house for over a hour and half.  I have no issue paying him $225 cause his over 20 years experience justify it plus the expensive equipment he uses.  Don't fall for the $59 promotions cause you would get 21 year old junior technicians applying guesswork to solve the problem and inevitably they will up sell you more expensive services due to their failures.  When you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Prompt, professional and proficient service at a reasonable price is what you can expect from Victor.  I would without hesitate to recommend Victor to anyone in need of sewer/plumbing work.

I called Victor yesterday evening regarding a problem with our dishwasher leaking water through the air gap. He was so kind and FaceTimed me to see if he could help me fix the problem right then and there. He diagnosed a problem that required him to come out to take a look. I had a great experience working with Victor to get our sewer line repaired! I was able to get an appointment soon after I called and he came out to do an assessment of what needed to be done. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain my options (annual hydro jetting vs installing pipe bursting and replacing parts of the pipe) and was very patient in answering my questions and getting a break-down on costs. It put me at ease and I knew I wanted to move forward with the repairs he recommended. He said the work would take two days and he was able to fit me in the following week. Victor and his team came promptly on both days and worked hard to get the job done. We're thrilled that our sewer lines are in great shape and covered by Victor's warranty - thank you for the peace of mind! I cannot recommend Victor the owner of Victors Rooter and Plumbing highly enough.  He personally answered calls on a Sunday and continued to talk me through problems and answered questions I had many days after.  We probably spent 2-3 hours on the phone and I will tell you that you won't find a more professional, knowledgeable, kind and generous person to take care of your plumbing needs.  He diagnosed and fixed my issues and he was genuinely happy to do it.  Do yourself a favor and call him now.

Victor is the best! Had this bad egg smell from our back bathroom. We thought there was a sewage leak so called Victor. He came out promptly on time and went under the house to
check for leaks. After checking Victor asked if we
used our bath tub. We haven't used the bath tub in 10 years. Victor told us that the P-Trap had run dry and to run some water down it once a week.
Apparently a dry P-trap allows sewage smell from the sewer to come up through the bath tub drain.
Problem Fixed! Victor didn't even charge us for checking! If you need an honest plumber call Victor! Thanks!

Victor absolutely saved us. We had been told we needed to completely replace the sewer pipe for an astronomical price and have no water for at least 2 weeks while they dug up the street. Victor was able to expertly sleeve the pipe with a very steep drop that no one else could do. It was painless for us and saved us tens of thousands of dollars. We had a pipe backup emergency at night and Victor was able to come out the very next morning. Gurgle, gurgle, is a noise you never want to hear coming from your toilet. So when we did, we called Victor. Turns out our original 1934 clay pipe sewer line was in bad shape. It's been an issue we've had for many years with cracks and tree roots impeding the flow. Victor came the following day and used a camera to confirm the condition of the pipe.

He recommended a trenchless replacement. His price was very fair and in-line with another estimate I got. It's a very costly repair, which is why we put it off for many years. He cleaned the old line so we'd be OK over the weekend until starting the repair on Monday. He asked for a $500 non-refundable deposit.

Victor and his crew showed up right on time on Monday (it's impressive when the boss shows up, too). And they were great. They were very mindful we were all at home working and at school -- and did a great job minimizing the amount of time we couldn't use the bathroom. It's a clean job. The workers were nice and took time to answer questions.

While finalizing the job, the workers noticed additional cracks in adjacent pipes that also needed fixing, too. Victor gave me a heads up this was a possibility -- and they'd only know for sure once they exposed the pipe. It, too, is a very expensive repair. But Victor didn't pressure me - and helped reduce the cost as much as he could (which helps).

Victor was a great partner during a stressful situation. A problem with a main sewer line is a sudden emergency, important (no toilet!) and a very costly repair - so you really need someone you can trust. I mean really trust. Also, everything is underground - so you can't see anything. There's no time to waste when you need to go.

Again, trust is everything - and Victor won mine! He said the labor and materials are guaranteed - adding to the trust factor. In fact, I've already referred him.

We found victor on Yelp and called him at 5:45pm on Tuesday with a plumbing emergency in our home that another company claimed they fixed 3 weeks prior. He was so accommodating and helpful and came to the house at 7pm. He did a thorough inspection and a bit of troubleshooting and returned the next morning with a crew to handle the problem and give us a very fair quote on the bigger issue that needed handling. Oscar and 2 other people came to do hydrojetting and inspect a potential sewage issue with a camera.
The service itself was ok - they did the hydrojetting, although they were not very aware of cross-contamination. The pipes going inside the sewage were touching the gardening pipes they needed for water, and they were touching the outside table with their gloves which touched the sewage pipes.

Main issue:
I requested the video they recorded with the camera, because I needed it to show the city, and it was part of why we hired them. Oscar recorded a video, and told me that he sent it to his boss, Victor. He then told me a few minutes later that Victor reviewed the video, and said you have a year if you're lucky - the pipe needs to be replaced and will cost 13k. More on this later.
I asked Oscar if he could send me the video to my phone. He asked for my number, and after fiddling with his phone for a minute said you don't have an iphone, so I can't send it - what's your email? I gave him my email, and he said he had no internet. He supposedly tried again several times, although it really looked like he was pretending to do something on his phone but wasn't really doing anything. He finally said he'll send it later.
I then followed up with Victor for a whole week, and he kept saying that he will send it. Eventually, he said my employee Oscar accidentally deleted it from his phone. I said wouldn't you have it in your messages if Oscar indeed sent it to you that day like he said?, to which he replied sorry man, I can't help you. I don't have your video.

This video was later requested by the city to authorize an inspection. I really needed it. When the city finally came and did their own investigation, they said the pipe is totally fine and laughed at the comment of you have a year max. It was probably all an act, and it's clear why they wouldn't send a video.

Very shady and unprofessional. I would not recommend.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing Victor is. We found an exterior leak that was draining tons of water through an exterior drain (like all the way down the block and further). It was already after hours on a Friday night, and despite turning off as many exterior water valves as we could find, the water would not stop flowing. I called Victor, and though he was out of town, he took the time to listen to our issue, reviewed several pictures we sent him, and even got on FaceTime to inspect our exterior plumbing and help identify the correct lever to turn off. He ultimately showed us how to make sure we turned off irrigation water source properly so that there wouldn't be continue water leakage overnight. Victor was so nice and patient, and we are so lucky to have reached him. He will definitely our go-to person in the future!

I really love it when I can find a dependable resource right in my neighborhood. First it's great to support local business and second, it's so much more convenient to have them be right here instead of driving in from West Covina or somewhere. If I could give 10 yelp stars, I would. We were having some drainage issues so reached out to Victor to schedule rooter service. He responded within minutes and scheduled the appointment for that same day. When the work was done, he was able to show me the cleared pipes with the snake camera so I could see that it was clean. After the rooter service, I discovered another issue, called Victor the following day and again he responded quickly and came to fix the problem.
I can not say enough good things about Victor and the work that he does. He's knowledgeable, personable and honest. That's exactly what you hope for when looking for someone to help you with problems you can't fix yourself.
The previous plumbing company we used rarely answered their phone and didn't show up when scheduled. From now on, I will only call Victor's Rooter and Plumbing and will recommend him to anyone who will listen.

YAY Victor's Plumbing!  Our main line clogs once a year and we need a plumber to come out and snake it.  Most of the time we are told we need major repairs and they upsell big time.  Not Victor.  In fact, he told me about a root-killer that I can get at the hardware store to help with the problem.  Clean.  Courteous,  Came out within a few hours. Reasonably priced.  Super nice.  For any rooter issues,  Victor's Plumbing should be your go-to.

Re:  COVID 19--Wore a mask, stepped back from the front door when I answered.  Kept space between us.  THEY ARE OPEN (and busy) so call them ASAP.

This was my second time using victor's service in less than a year! My sewer line backed up again and  had shower/toilet clogged up yesterday morning. I only have one day during week days that can be home in the morning so I asked him if he can come to fix the same issue he fix before.

First of all, he is the only person who gave me the quote up front out of 5-6 companies! I understand they don't wanna give false estimate and clients getting upset later but I know what the problem is and what it's needed to be done to fix current problem (although I need a major plumbing fix up eventually), so giving me an estimate will help a lot.

Victor is super busy, but still made it right on time for my appointment because he knew I need working toilet and bathroom to get ready for work! Plus he never tried to push fixing more stuff than I asked him to.

I've used Victor's plumbing on two occasions.  Victor is prompt and courteous and arrived on time for both calls.   I had roots in my sewer line from our avocado trees.  Victor efficiently hydro-jetted away the roots and then showed me the camera views of the inside of the sewer line to confirm everything had been cleaned out.  He price was more than fair and I will gladly use his service again when needed.  

On the second call Victor showed up to inspect our interior drains for potential clogs.  He determined that we didn't need to clean the drains and did not charge for his service call.   Thank you Victor!   Highly recommended!

I have to say if I could choose a zero star I would have! It's hard for me to believe he got so many good reviews! Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience with Victor! He came to our place to fix our toilet flushing system and some plumbing issues! the problem with flushing got even worst and we called him several times but he told us for 10 days he is out of town and when we called him on Friday he said you have my word I'll come Monday morning between 9-10. He never showed up and never came back to fix the issue! It is still broken and even worst than the first day he came! I paid him cash and he told me as soon as he gets to the office he will email me the receipt! For three weeks my husband and I texted him, but he refused to send the three months warranty email and the receipt! DON'T Hire this guy please! He was one of the worst service providers that we ever hired through Yelp! Just find someone more reliable and responsible!

I am always very emphatic when someone has exceeded or not met my expectations or worse when they go above and beyond the norm or don't meet minimum standards. This place is so far below expectation AND my basic needs. Not only did his first visit not resolve the problem but the second visit only temporarily put a bandaid on a major plumbing issue.

He then missed several follow up appointments to repair his botched work, the first time due to a car accident and the second he said he was on vacation... of course any normal person would call to reschedule if that was the case! Just today he missed YET another appointment. This morning confirming a 5pm time and never showing or returning over a dozen calls and texts.

I am furious and urge all not to use this service if they want anyone reliable or skilled!

I can't thank Victor enough.  Our toilet was terribly backed up. I used Victor once before for a major sewer project and never had a problem with it since so I naturally called Victor.  Even though there is a pandemic, he texted me back within minutes to arrange a mutually convenient time. He showed up promptly wearing PPE, which is respectful and considerate during this time. Then he fixed the problem with his state of the art equipment and then double checked the plug by checking some drain thing in the yard.  He is professional, kind and considerate.  Then he refused to charge me.  I wish I could hire him for everything.  So grateful.

Victor saved the day and thousands of dollars.  I had a blockage in my kitchen sink. I called another plumbing company who came and spent 2 days with heavy equipment to open the blockage but were not successful.  They told me they need to open the wall to access the pipe to clean it and that would cost over $2,000.  I called Victor who came and snaked the drain and had everything working in about 10 minutes.  No up-sell, no nonsense.  Honest, reliable and efficient.  Won't use any other plumber ever again.  Thank you Victor.

Shortly after purchasing a new home the surprises of homeownership started trickling in. One major issue I came across was my plumming. I contacted Victor  who quickly responded and got down to the ROOT of the problem. I mean literally he found out my back up was being caused by roots in my plumming. He used his Hydrojet system to quickly get rid of all the roots in my plumming. Not to mention as soon as I found out what the issue was I went to google to find out what such a service cost. Victor hands down washed the competition away with his pricing. He also discovered a few issues with my kitchen sink (previous owners had flushed paint down the pipes smh!) which he took care. I needed a plumber immediately. I had leaking pipes and a backed up sewer. I didn't know any plumbers, so I went on line and searched for one based on reviews. Victor had all these incredible reviews. If they were accurate, Victor was the plumber I wanted and needed. I found out every review was right. Be forewarned. This guy Victor is not right in the head. I called him because I have a leak and was desperate to get it fixed right away. He came out and quoted me $600 to cut an exposed pipe and seal it. I thought it was kind of pricey. And I am not a plumber, I don't know how much things cost. So I asked him if he could reduce his price, he said that's how much it cost, and I said ok fine, do it. He then told me he was going to check something, and just bailed suddenly! This guy has a temper and is not right in the head. Yes he has a right to refuse service. But this is bad behavior. It is not right to leave a customer high and dry like this just because I very respectfully asked him if he could reduce his price. I am afraid this guy is pretty off in the head, I don't know if he has a terrible temper or what, and who knows what else he would have done.. just be careful!

So I turned on garbage disposal after washing my dishes as usual. When I hear a loud weird noise and I then I smelled like something burned. Now my water isn't draining. A thank you to Victor and his team for repairing our sewer line from our home into the back alley.  

My wife found him on Yelp.  He came out, did a camera inspection, and had to clean up unfinished, botched work.  

We have a lot of ficus trees and they haf penetrated into the sewer pipes but the work needed to extend into the city alley.  He went and pulled permits and completed the job.  In addition he was kind enough to adjust the water pressure in our showers from the main line despite it not being in the contract.  

I spent over $8000 but he was indeed the fairest.  He was confident that his bid would be the least too.  He gave me a guarantee too.

Victor's Rooter & Plumbing was very professional. I never thought I'd be giving such a spirited review about plumbing services, but Victor deserves it. Our house had a plastic pipe where the connection had been poorly made by a previous contractor and roots were causing backups for years. I finally decided to take the plunge and fix the issue, which required excavating my front yard, removing the prior connection, and fixing it with new parts.  Victor not only gave me a very competitive price quote, but he did a tremendous job, communicating every step of the way, sending me before and after videos, and very thoroughly explaining the problem and his solution. Never thought I'd live to see the day where I would find an honest, reputable and skilled plumber.

A month ago my husband took a shower and we noticed our clean out flooding. We had a huge clog in our sewer line. Everyone was quoting me crazy prices just to come jet it. Victor showed up the very next morning at 7am and snaked it for me.

He threw a camera down there and we realized the last guy who was supposed to fix my sewer line in escrow didn't throw the line down long enough and missed a spot where our line met the city line.

Victor quoted me a price that I thought was high. But after getting quote after quote he beat everyone else by more than half AND he was going to get permits while no one else would have. As a matter of fact some people even told me to do what's called a top hat which is a temporary fix but they were still quoting me hire than what victor quoted me for replacing the whole line.

Victor was so professional and on time and didn't nickel and dime us. He never asked for me to front the money for the Beverly Hills city permit or anything like that and didn't collect till he was all done. I've never had anyone treat me so well. I could tell all the city inspectors knew him and respected him and that gave me a lot of peace of mind moving forward with such an intricate job.

He had to dig a hole in asphalt replace a pipe, slurry coat and asphalt it again. Very skilled work done so right. He even gave me a 15 year guarantee.

Victor is honest, on time, and his work is clean. He is now our family plumber even for the minor stuff we just love him. Feels like he's family.

Victor was great and his guys were great! Our plumbing was backed up in the whole house and he came right out to figure out the problem. Unfortunately there was something wrong with how the plumbing was originally made, it's a 1920's house and the pipe they were scoping went two ways instead of one. The snake ended up going up into the bathroom through the wall behind the toilet into the toilet wrapping around the shower curtain and spraying feces all over the bathroom. While no fault of his guys Victor immediately paid for a cleaning company to come out and sanitize the bathroom, he replaced the shower curtain and the broken toilet. Then when that was taken care of they scoped and found root damage out by the street. So the pipes needed to be fixed and sleeved out under the street. He saved us a lot of money by being able to sleeve it rather than dig up the street. They also found that the pipes were old and crumbling towards the house. You know you always wonder if you're getting fed a line to sell more product but Victors integrity was very high and we knew him to be telling us the truth because as it turned out our neighbor had to do the very same thing the same week at the advice of another plumber. So thanks Victor and team! Victor your responsiveness, morales and business integrity were spot on and I would recommend you to anyone. I will have you back to do more major jobs in the future.

We had been having draining issues for years and would have a plumber come out every 6-8 months or so. It wasn't working. As with any plumber, we were unsure how it would go trying someone new and what we would be charged... we were so incredibly happily to discover Victor is so helpful and honest. He showed us the roots blocking our pipes, via an underground camera. He tried a couple ways of clearing them and showed us the difference with the camera. The high pressure water cleaning (hydro cleaning) completely cleared away the roots blocking our pipes. It's been 3

I called Victor to fix a cracked main line sewage pipe after buying a new house. He and his team were able to come out in a day and got the job done quickly.  He even slid under the house and capped a leaking pipe for free. Victor is a great plumber and his company does perfect work.  No question about it.  Honest, reliable, trustworthy...and that is what we are all hoping for!
I called several plumbers to bid a sewer replacement job but Victor had the highest ratings on yelp and google and I found out why.  He showed up a half hour before our meeting time to be sure he was not late.  He bid the job and explained every aspect to me.  I have extensive plumbing knowledge (which he didn't realize) and he hit every point from begining to end.  He scoped the lines, pointed out areas of concern, provided a plan and produced a very reasonable bid.  He then offered to come to the house later that evening to snake the line to make sure that we were clear for the remainder of the week before he replaced the lines (this without charge!)
He was true to his original bid, did the work in a day and a half and shared photos and checked in afterward.  
Solid Solid Plumber.  I will be recommending Victor's Plumbing to all my friends and family.

My son recommended Victor's Rooter and Plumbing, and I can't thank him enough!  He is the nicest owner/operator.  In my son's case, while other companies recommended expensive drainage work when he moved into his new home, Victor's told him that it was not necessary and did an excellent job taking care of the issue for considerably less.  I called Victor's because of a backup that seems to have resolved itself before he got here, and while he spent considerable time investigating the issue, he didn't charge me because there was ultimately no problem.  Honesty leads to good word of mouth in the case of Victor's Rooter and Plumbing.

I woke up this morning and my shower was filled up with water and not draining at all. I was in a panic because it was about to overflow all over the floor. I called about 3 different plumbers and Victor had the most competitive pricing and was available within 2 hours of my call which was perfect for my schedule. As a general contractor, I needed a specialty plumber for a sewage related issue that was outside the bounds of traditional plumbing. Victor came through for me. He first was able to work with me over the phone via pictures and from there he was able to come up with a game plan, and ultimately he showed up at my job site the very next day with 100% professionalism. He executed on his game plan and we fixed the problem just like he drew it up. I'm lucky to have come across Victor and am very grateful for his work. I called Victor's Rooter and Plumbing, they immediately picked up, and I encountered a helpful, wonderful, person with great phone etiquette. A rarity these days! And what is even MORE rare to find is someone who cares to know what the situation is so they can trouble shoot and correctly quote before arriving. After explaining the situation with my garbage disposal, the person shared that it sounded like my disposal needed a simple fix that they guided me through AND even offered to face time with me if I needed further guidance. Their verbal guidance helped me fix my disposal! No face time needed.  They had correctly diagnosed the issue and had helped me fix my disposal for free!? -A fix that was going to be a  minimum of $100 according to everyone else I called. As it turned out, I was speaking to Victor himself! I will be calling Victor from here on out for ANY plumbing need I have. He is quick, kind, knowledgable, honest, AND his pricing is fair. I had the great pleasure of having Victor work on my house. He replaced the drains underneath my house at a great price and with outstanding efficiency.

Let's start from the beginning. When I was shopping around for a plumber so many of them gave me a hard time, were impatient and wanted to charge me money just to come out. From the start Victor came out, gave me a very fair estimate and stuck to it no matter the challenges that came out of the job.

Victor and his crew did a very thorough job and left my house better than when they arrived. They went out of their way to make sure that the plumbing for my family was done well. Also, and most importantly they were very friendly and kind to my children which is always a great sign. He even placed a new garbage bag on my trash bin!

Believe me when I tell you that I do research when it comes to work done in my family home and my research paid-off. There's only one number that I'm going to call from now on with plumbing needs and that's Victor's.

10/5/18 Asked Victor to come out again for a slow drain and wobbly toilet today. As usual, he was quick to respond, got here when he said he would and took care of everything without a problem.
You just can't find people anymore who work so hard and do such an AMAZINGLY GOOD JOB!!! I would recommend Victor and his team a hundred times over.

Victor to the rescue!
We needed a whole new sewer line and were going to use our regular plumber and his team to do it but the price was so high.
We found Victor and his guys from a friend's referral and we are SO HAPPY we did!
To start with, his price was SOOOO much better.
Our plumber and his team told us it would be impossible to burst the pipes in the trenchless sewer method, and would instead have to dig out the trenches therefore adding to our price.
Victor ran the camera and said he could do it, he knew what he was doing and he did it all the time.
Once you meet Victor and start talking to him, you will feel at ease. He's so kind and really listens and comes up with workable solutions.
Our job was supposed to take 3 days and they were able to get it done in just 2. Those guys WORK HARD! They know what they're doing and they just do it. Victor and his crew are very professional and were on time  everyday and responded quickly to all my questions.
We also received a wonderful warranty! We are so pleased!!!
I wish all household problems were so easily solved.

Also, a few weeks after our repair, he came back and checked under the house for us and found a small leak that he repaired at no extra charge.

Victor is a godsend. Main line sewer backed up three times in last year. Each time had a plumber come out to run a camera and offer solutions. Each time we thought it was fixed. All very expensive. Then we called Victor. He came out the next day. He ran his own camera for free even though I showed him a video of what the other plumber had captured on film, just to confirm whether or was before or after video. He offered the most comprehensive solution of any of the other guys and he was affordable. He also exceeded his timing and fit me in early to make sure I was taken care of. I only wished I had found him sooner. He will be my only call from now on. It's his business. His crew cleaned everything better than they found it. He's a stand up guy with integrity, easy to talk to, and has a great working rapport with his staff. Can I give six stars?

Tenants called about a blocked pipe over the weekend and had a plumber come out to investigate. That plumber told me he thought I needed a full drainage line replacement and that it wasn't possible to flush the line due to corrosion. Suspicious, I called Victor at Victor's rooter who agreed that the first plumber's assessment seemed suspect. Victor is the owner and came out to the property himself along with a team member the following day. They inspected the pipes, found them to be in good condition and identified a singular clog. He informed me there was nothing wrong with the drain pipe itself, and that it only needed some strapping to adjust the angle to keep sludge from building up. They hydrojetted the lines to clear the blockage and offered me very competitive pricing to boot. So happy to have found an honest plumber to go to in the future and have the piece of mind knowing I'm not being gouged for unnecessary repairs!

I highly recommend Victor. After a blocked sewer caused back up I found Victor and Yelp and  he was at our home within a few hours. He did not charge me for the camera inspection which I really appreciated. I learned that the bad area was the old clay and with all my trees in the yard so I decided the best thing to do a new trenchless sewer as undoubtedly more roots would find their way into the old clay sewer line.The estimate for the repair was very reasonable and straightforward with no BS. I did give another plumber an opportunity to give me an estimate for the same job and they could not compete. We scheduled the job and Victor and the crew were on time ready to go.They dug 4 holes in 1 day in 110 degree heat and installed the new sewer line the next day. They filled the holes and cleaned up the yard like it never happened and we were good to go.

Victor is a real pro with a great crew. He has lived up to his excellent ratings!

There are few reliable and honest contractors in this town. I can say without any hesitation that Victor stands out among the rest. I called him early this morning to fix a recurring plumbing issue in my apartment because the maintenance team Simply used a plunger and tried to plunge the issue but it was recurring.

Victor said he would arrive within an hour and a half and he did not only did he arrive but he asked  pertinent questions about the bathtub draining, too.  He took care of the issue as the toilet was almost overflowing and he did not charge the weekend rate!

He described to me why issue reoccurred and I also noticed that he got the toilet to flush more voraciously then it ever had.

Thank you so much for such a job well done and for being an honest and fair businessman.

Well, we couldn't be happier.  We knew our mainline had to be replaced in our 71 year old house, but we could not find a rooter guy who would be affordable...Or even show up!  Victor responded within two hours for our emergency hydrojet, free camera scope of the pipe, and gave us a quote on the pipe burst with an excellent guarantee on labor and parts.  His price was HALF the price of our regular plumber and contractor.  The work was done quickly, he was respectful, kept his word, and honored his estimate even though there were complications that challenged the job that no one could have known about.  Great people skills so we knew what was involved every step of the way.  No surprises.  His mother must be very proud to have raised such an honest and hardworking son.  We recommend Victor's Rooter and Plumbing.

Had a clogged drain in the kitchen. My go to plumber couldn't get it, recommended scoping and hydro-jetting ($600-$800). I was pretty freaked because my sink line runs through the foundation to the sewer, if there was a bigger problem - disaster. I called Victor about hydro jetting since I already had tried rooting. HE advised trying to router again, for a third of the price of hydro-jetting. I agreed. Long story short, he cleared it in 15 minutes. There are cheaper router services. You get what you pay for.

Now I only post reviews when the service is beyond amazing or horribly unbelievable. This review is definitely to comment on the excellent service I received. Victor will be the guy I call for all my plumbing issues and if need be I will wait until he has an open spot before calling another service. His professionalism and honesty is rare and that is something to appreciate.

Let me give you some detail on my experience. One of my showers would have black stuff come up when I would wash clothes or wash dishes. I called another plumbing service (that I found on Yelp with great reviews) and they came out to check out the problem. The price to check the clean out and run a camera was shocking. They started telling me how bad things were and how the repair needed to be done immediately. I was already skeptical because they didn't even want to go under the house and check out the problem. They only wanted to do this AFTER I agreed to do the service repair. The guy came up with a repair plan and price that was close to a down payment on a new car. Almost instantly I felt like I was being overcharged. (my next review is going to warn people not to get suckered with that plumbing service)

I didn't feel right so I called Victor to see if I could get a different estimate.  I was supposed to go out of town for the weekend and I didn't want to have to cancel my plans. He explained everything to me, how it was a job that could wait until I got back from my trip. We set up an appointment once I got back. He was running behind with another job but texted me to give me me a heads up...that's good customer service. He texted me again once he was on the way....to me a little thing like that means he is considerate to his customers.

Victor and his guys went under the house to diagnose the situation. Once the problem was figured out he gave me a price that was more along the lines I had anticipated the job to cost. (about half the price the first guy gave me) The job took a few hours to complete and everything was explained to me. I didn't feel like I was being conned or taken advantage of. Victor was very professional and honest. This is the experience you want when you have an unexpected plumbing repair or issue. You want to get the job done right and not feel like you got taken advantage of.

As a home owner I understand these plumbing issues are going to come up. Sinks clog, pipes back up, old pipes corrode and leaks happen. So I am lucky that these positive reviews were true and on point. Victor is an honest professional. I didn't feel like he was trying to make a quick buck but rather made me feel comfortable about the repair cost and the service was great.

Yesterday, I went outside to find a flooded main... I made 2 calls to get a plumber, but was not happy with either dispatch ... both unable to give an estimate or a time when a plumber would show up. I then went to Yelp where I found and decided to call VICTOR'S ROOTER & PLUMBING. Not only did Victor answer the phone, but he was attentive and gave a price over the phone as well. Victor and his 2-man crew came by a couple hours after I called. Meeting Victor and his crew was pleasant and informative. Victor was able to fix the backup in the main and give me a couple of solutions to solve this problem in the future. ... And his prices are fair!! I finally feel like I have found my go-to plumber and I'm so happy about that! Thank you Victor and see you again!!

Flaked twice in one week. The night before our appointment, they canceled by text because of an emergency.  Then Victor came out and did part of the job and scheduled an appointment to come back four days later to finish the job (he needed to purchase a part).  Victor didn't show.  He didn't call either.  When I texted him, he said he was ill and made no apology for flaking.  Ugh.

Our sewer line was on the outs earlier this year and I found Victor on Yelp. He responded promptly and came out to our house to inspect the line and provide a quote. He clearly explained the options and process and cost variables and showed me a detailed video cam of all the current breakages in the line. He was also understanding of our need to maintain some trees that provided privacy for our back yard and was careful to ensure the health of the tree roots without compromising the sewer line replacement. The work was done the next week and completed within a few days.  Victor and his team were incredibly professional, communicative and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!! He just came back to our house to help with some issues with a slow draining tub and again was so easy and wonderful to work with.

Our bathroom flooded on a Sunday!  I found Victor on Yelp; he came over quickly when I phoned.  He diagnosed and fixed the problem on the spot, used a camera in the pipe to show us what went wrong,  then he clearly explained our options for preventing the problem from happening again.

We got a quote for a long-term fix to the sewer line and after I checked it was reasonable, Victor came back with a crew.  They explained everything and showed me how it worked.  They were very careful to cause minimum damage when they dug a hole, and they cleaned up perfectly afterwards.

I got refer from my friends for victor to fix the issues I had in house for a while. He was so patient and knowledgable,  gave us a reasonable quote to install the tankless water heater. I liked the team work from victor's plumbing. They did a fantastic job, And we are expecting him to come back fixing our another underground broken pipe issues. And I believe we will use him again and again. You will not feel regretted after you use him.

We hired Victor for the second time, this time for an emergency sewer pipe blockage. He came to the rescue! Major work had to be done to remove the huge root that invaded and blocked our entire pipe connecting to the main street. He is truly reliable and a pleasure to work with. We have a newborn so it was really difficult when we don't have good drainage. I'm glad we came across Victor previously and will continue to use him. I'm keeping his number saved on my phone.

Victor is awesome, our super old house has all modern plumbing, except for that run of original almost 100-year old clay sewer pipe. After years of annual snaking and occasional backups, Victor gave us a competitive bid to do a trenchless liner from our existing cleanout all the way to the city and did it in even less time than expected. All around it was a fantastic experience dealing with Victor and we'd recommend him to anyone. It's nice to find experienced, fair, and honest specialists in what sometimes feels like a sea of turds.

A little late with my review but these guys are the best. We had an issue with our sprinklers after a power outage. Turns out it was user error on our part but they were kind enough to stop by quickly as they were in the neighborhood. We had a large cracked pipe, basement was completely flooding and within 30 mins of contacting Victor, he arrived to check it out. He took a good hour explaining everything to our landlord to help expedite the process. He was direct, to the point and quoted lower than other plumbers.

A HUGE crisis was totally taken care of by Victor and his men. They arrived next morning, prompt and ready to go. Within 2 mornings, the project was totally fixed, replaced and cleaned up. Victor also kept me posted each day's progress and what will happen the next day.

Very professional, understood our sense of urgency, and handle the crisis as quick as anyone could.  We will definitely use his services again.

I had a clogged shower and sink. I tried to do it myself. I like to do a lot of DIY, and I've done it growing up with the proper tools, but as an adult, i don't have access to my father's tool arsenal. I made calls at 3p to 5 of the top plumbers on yelp near hancock park. Victor answered, told me to text him the deets, and he'd be there in less than 3 hours. Many other plumbers wouldn't be able to come for a day or two. His price was right on par with market rates, especially considering same day service. Sorry to say I have to give them 1 star. I set up an appointment a few days in advance for 6pm. I waited until 730 and gave up. I never received a call or even text from them saying they could not make it. It has been a few days now and still nothing.

Let's just say I will never be calling them again. Hope other people have better luck then I did.

As all the reviews mention, Victor is a super nice guy, and called back right away. Even took the time to give us some tips on how we could try to fix our broken water ourselves - but they themselves do not service condos or apartment buildings. Unfortunately DO NOT CALL l if you live in a condo or apartment building, even if you own your own condo and the water heater is in your own unit. Victor is great. Previously he fixed a root intrusion in my sewer line with a liner, and did it in a less disruptive way than proposed by others, and at a cheaper price. This time he showed up to check out a noise in the pipes that seemed likely to be the water heater. It turned out not to be, and just required a small adjustment to the pressure on the regulator, which he did quickly and without trying to sell me unnecessary services. Very reliable and trustworthy.

We had a HUGE cracked pipe, basement was completely flooding and within 30 mins of contacting Victor, he arrived to check it out. He was so helpful, thorough and patiently explained every detail of what was happening and what needed to happen. Victor's Rooter was very professional and safety conscientious, showing up on time, keeping to their job time estimate. Contrary to information that was given to us by another company it turned out that the length and angle of the pipe that we needed lined was longer and wider, but Victor only upped his original estimate (which was considerably lower than other estimates) for the added length and kept to the contract even when he encountered more problems. I'm a big researcher and so after much investigating and onsite estimates I decided on Victor's Rooter & Plumbing.  He was knowledgeable and professional.  He was very patient with all my questions. We had our main sewer line replaced with pipe bursting, which by the way, is a GREAT alternative to trenching up the yard.  I was VERY happy with the service and care.  I was taking pictures of the process and sending them to hubby as the day progressed.  Victor would let me know when there was a new phase that I might want to photograph. The total process took 2 days. We also had a liner go from our property to the street.  Water was only off for a couple hours each day.  Highly recommend Victor!

I thought my weekend was ruined when my tub handle broke and water started spraying at crazy angles all over the bathroom. It quickly became clear I did not have the skills to fix the problem, but being Saturday, I thought I was never going to get anyone over to the house on short notice. When I called Victor's Rooter & Plumbing, the owner Victor told me that all of his technicians were busy and booked until Monday, but he jumped on a FaceTime call with me to try and talk me through the fix. When my lack of know-how left us nowhere, Victor (who was enjoying his weekend w his family) came over to my house himself and fixed the entire problem in no time and for a very competitive rate. While he was here, Victor wore a mask and was as courteous and helpful as you could imagine. I cannot overstate my satisfaction with this business, or my appreciation for the character of the owner. If you are looking for that small town feel, the feeling like the plumber is a friend and not just to make a few bucks, look no further! Victor is amazing! He came and replaced our leaking water heater and it wasn't a simple switch. He did a complete fix and added a few things it needed. He quoted me lower then the other plumbers I had come and look at it. AND I didn't pay a penny more then he first quoted me! I'm glad I've found a plumber who is there to help.

If you have sewage issues, Victor is the right person to solve your problem. I had tree roots growing into my sewage line, and another plumber spent four hours trying to solve.  Fortunately, they then referred me to Victor. I only wish he was the first call I had made. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and was able to get my sewage draining within a few hours -- and was able to get a permanent solve done within two days.  Victor has incredible integrity and knows what he's doing.  Highly recommend.

I found Victor on Yelp. I just had to write a review because my experience was amazing. First he picked up the phone on the first try. I had called 4 other plumbers before him and got machines. He asked me to take a picture of the  fixtures inside the tank so he could make sure to have any and all the parts that he may need. We set a time for him to come out to look at my toilet.  He got out to me before our scheduled appointment and had my toilet fixed in about 15 minutes! His pricing is more than reasonable!!

Hands down the worst experience with any plumber I've had in decades of working as an estate manager handling private properties. Lots of empty promises, lies, delays, literrally telling you he's on his way when they have no intention of showing up. Leaving jobs unfinished with no care in the world or even a phone call to explain or apologize. I don't understand how he got these reviews  unless they're all his friends because he didn't live up to single one of them, or his over the phone promises. Highly unprofessional and decieving. Victor is seriously awesome. I suspected a blockage in my main sewer line and had my everyday plumber check it out. He told me a needed proper Rooter service - so I turned to Yelp.  I was impressed that Victor answered the call himself and due to a cancellation was able to come out the same day.  My main line was so blocked by tree roots that the snake couldn't cut it. Victor jetted the line and once it was cleared, saw with his camera that the bottom of my pipe had been eaten away by the aggressive roots of my three-story (thirsty) ficus tree. Yikes!  

Over the next two days Victor and his guys dug up concrete and laid 20 feet of new sewer pipe. But because he owns his own equipment, it was much more reasonable than other Rooter services that charge a rental fee when hydraulic machines are needed. He also understood my concern about cleaning up my yard after the black sewer water - given my chocolate lab pup.  So instead of the normal lime, he went the extra mile and brought in decomposed granite - and even color matched it to my yard.

He and his team were courteous, on time, and did a great clean up job in my basement. He's also a really nice guy with a ton of integrity. I don't normally go on and on, but Victor is one of the real gems that I have to thank other Yelpers for sharing about. All of this was done the week of Christmas. Victor literally saved me from having a sh*tty holiday.  Infinite gratitude!

If you live in Burbank, you probably have root problems with your sewer line. For 4 years we've had to have a plumber come and either root or hydro-jet our main sewer line every 6-8 months. Well I finally had enough and had Victor come out and replace the sewer line from the house all the way to the city line, needing only to dig a couple of pits and pull through the new piping. There was minimal disruption to my yard - nothing close to what would have been if a trench had to be dug. He and his workers were incredibly professional, and they cleaned up after themselves so you could hardly notice any work had been done at all. It's not cheap to have this work done, but Victor's price was better than the other quotes I received, and I can't imagine being happier with the work done had I chosen someone else. And now I have peace of mind knowing that I never have to worry about when the next sewer backup is going to happen, and that the piping and work is guaranteed for life. I can't recommend Victor's Rooter enough.

Victor and his crew just completed our trenchless sewer pipe replacement using half lining and half pipe burst.  He was able to diagnose the best plan and in figuring out where to excavate in order to minimize any concrete damage.  The job took two and half days and I am very happy with his job. It was done professionally, cleanly, and timely.  Also, he billed thousands less than the other qualified plumbers.  
He is giving me a long warranty as well.  I am glad I met Victor.

Where do I start? My main sewer line was at a complete stop, water coming up in both showers and both toilets weren't flushing, every home owner's worst nightmare. Then it was a parade of wanna-be plumbers who weren't able to tell me what the problem is and how to fix it, oh and by the way they charge $300 for the call regardless if they fix the problem. Most of them don't even have a license to do any work, pretty sad and people like that give plumbers a bad rep, shame!!! And then comes along Victor of Victor's Rooter! I am honestly so impressed by his knowledge, level of integrity, sympathy in a situation like this and quality of work. He called me back within an hour late in the evening, came out first thing next morning for a free estimate, ran the camera down the line and told me exactly what the problem is and what it takes to fix it, gave me a price on the spot and walked us through every step of the process, materials used, shelf life and what to expect during the job. Victor and his crew (Steven and Mauricio) worked very hard especially during these last few days with temperatures in triple digits, all his guys very polite, courteous and did a great job cleaning up the job side. I would give 10 stars if I could, I am that satisfied with Victor's work, he really did go above and beyond and had exceeded our expectations. Victor even called the city on our behalf and they had showed within 10 minutes and cleaned the line on city's side! Try calling the city on your own, you know how that goes! My main line has been replaced, everything is up and running with no problems. What a great experience! I am never calling another plumber again, I know exactly where to go. We needed our pipes lined because of tree root infiltration. Last month we had Victor come out for an estimate (note that we also had two other companies do the same).

He showed up when he said he would for an early appointment on a Saturday morning. Besides being prompt, he was personable, knowledgeable and fair.

One of the other quotes we received was similar but I was impressed with Victor's expertise and experience with pipe-lining. His company does the lining versus contracting it out and it's my understanding that this is his specialty.

I appreciated that he showed up to the job and worked alongside his crew. I was interested in the process and Victor was happy to share the details of each step without making me feel like I was an irritation.

After the clean-up it was as if no one had been there...the workers filled the holes well and put back our driveway pavers exactly as they were before the work.

Victor was just all around super awesome and I don't regret anything about hiring him and his crew. It was great to get to know a bit about him and why/how he got into plumbing. If you need your pipes lined, I highly recommend Victor's Rooter.

I rent out a 90-year-old house and live out of the area.  I keep thinking there's nothing left to replace, but the house always proves me wrong.   Victor's been handling my plumbing issues for going on four years now and he's been doing an excellent job.   The last 4 years have involved major jobs (all waste lines from under house to main) as well as many smaller ones.  The latest was a leaking water supply main from the meter to the house.  In all cases the work is super clean and well-documented via pictures for me.  Communication is excellent and advice is too, not always recommending the big job.  I highly recommend him.

Victor is totally amazing.  I rent my place out on AirBnB when I'm out of town, which is a lot.  I had some foreign tenants in there who spoke little English when suddenly the kitchen sink backed up.  It became a multi day problem because the original plumber I called flaked out on me, and I'm trying to coordinate between tenants who can't really articulate a problem over the phone and a plumber who just didn't seem to care.  Thank god I found Victor on yelp who understood the problem immediately and got a guy out there extremely quickly who fixed the problem and saved my good reviews on AirBnB.  Thank you Victor!  You saved the day!

I just completed a trenchless main sewer repair at a rental property.  Victor was the only person who had a class 42 license to connect the main line to the city.  He also came in with the lowest bid because he owns his own equipment.  The other bids were higher because the other plumbers were going to subcontract the job to someone like Victor who owns his own equipment.  The best part is Victor is on site the entire time, every day managing the project.    One of the tenants had been complaining of a urine smell.  Victor noticed that a pipe under the foundation was leaking sewage and fixed that for me as well.  I doubt any other plumber would have taken the effort to go beyond the scope of the original job.   I've been looking for a plumber for a long time.  I'm glad to finally have someone I trust.

Unresponsive!  Contacted Victor's Rooter & Plumbing and they were initially very responsive (called within 10 minutes of initial contact).  After that, it went downhill.  I explained that I would like to hire them for draining cleaning (as my house might have a potential sewer gas issue) and they said they would text me later that day with availability.  No response.  Contacted them 2 days later to follow-up on scheduling an appointment.  Again, they said they didn't have their calendar in front of them and would text me with availability.  No response again.  It's been a week since my initial contact and I'm going to contact other plumbing companies.  If I can't trust this company to be responsive for simple scheduling purposes, I'm not sure if I can trust them with my house and fixing more serious plumbing issues.

You can keep reading all the other 5 star reviews and you can still remain worried that Victor's Plumbing just is too good to be true. You know how contractors have a bad reputation and your money just evaporates and the job is shoddy.

FORGET ALL OF THAT!!

Victor and his team are the people to go with. I had my entire main sewer line from toilet to the street line replaced by pipe burst and ABS under the house. I'm completely satisfied and confident that this was the correct decision.

Read all the 5 star reviews. They are TRUE. Victors prices are reasonable and the work is exemplary. He's thoroughly knowledgeable about all things about sewer line repair or replacement. His suggestions are right in. He takes time to explain anything you question. You can trust his decisions.

I HIGHLY recommend Victor's Rooter & Plumbing. Victor and his crew are professional, personable and simply amazing. This morning at about 7 AM my four-year-old daughter decided to put almost an entire roll of toilet paper down the drain. After nearly 2 hours of attempting to clear the clog, and lots of soiled water spilling all over my bathroom and hallway, in a total panic I started calling plumbers. Victor was the fourth plumber I called (I won't ever make that mistake again) and he was the only one who was available to handle the emergency. He and his crew were at my house within 45 to 60 minutes. They cleared the clog,  helped me clean up and the price was fantastic. Save yourself lots of time and just call Victor. I'm updating my original review because Victor truly was a disappointment in the end. If you plan on using him more than once please be aware. He originally unclogged our plumbing issue which took less than 10 minutes, and that is why he asked me to give him a good review. However, he returned a second time because our plumbing was still backed up. Once he cleared that issue he must have realized he did some damage to one of the pipes. Had he returned he would've realized that it was just a matter of replacing a small pipe but he didn't want to return to fix the problem. With that being said.... getting him to come back and fix it was a big ordeal. He didn't answer my text messages or return phone calls over the course of a week. Once I used a different number to contact him he answered the phone right away. I explained the problem and he said he would rearrange his schedule to fit us in and would call me back. When he returned my call he gave me the excuse that he was too busy and to look elsewhere for help. When I mentioned I will wait for him, he said he wouldn't be available for another week so I had no choice but to find another plumber because I couldn't use the bathroom, do laundry or wash dishes and I have 3 kids. Obviously he didn't care because he's unprofessional. He doesn't care about customer service and keeping his customers. We were finally able to get our plumbing resolved no thanks to him. I don't recommend him because he doesn't take responsibility for his actions. He was unprofessional, irresponsible and unreliable.

Victor's saved my sanity a week ago! Out of the blue, the toilets began to overflow, water wouldn't go down in the shower, etc. I called my regular plumber who told me I needed the pipes rooted. This was not a situation that Drano could fix! I called one company that looked good on Yelp, but that was a mistake. Called three times, and each time they told me someone would get back to me in 10 minutes with a scheduled time. That never happened. So I then found Victor's on Yelp and crossed my fingers. What a relief. I was called back within 10 minutes of my call, and they were able to come the same day! Victor explained my options to me; my house is old, and the pipes are old, and I wasn't sure what would happen if they tried to hydro-jet them. So he told me the price for snaking and said it would apply to the hydro-jetting if I decided on that. Oscar arrived exactly on time--extremely polite and never made me feel like an idiot because I didn't know anything about pipes! He was very thorough, went under the house, took pictures, and found a way to get to the other pipes through the roof. The snaking, as I should have known, could not get through the sludge that was in my pipes. To make the decision on the hydro-jetting, I called my plumber. Oscar told him everything that needed to be done, and Steve agreed. He told me Oscar knew what he was doing. I did not know that he didn't have the hydro-jet with him, though, and that was disappointing because I had to wait another day. But he was so nice and so professional that I couldn't get upset. Next day--again exactly on time. He said the job would take about an hour. I think it might have been an hour-and-a-half, but it was a lot of work. I was so happy to be able to flush again!! He also gave me a bid on my old main pipe, which I know will have to be replaced. But there was no hard sell--it's expensive--and I told him I'd call when I could do it. And I will call them, definitely! They are a pleasure to work with.

I was out of town when I found our all 3 of my bathrooms backed up. After calling my plumber, I found out I needed a root specialist to clear my line. I saw victor got amazing reviews. It happened right on Thanksgiving and after sending him a yelp message, he responded on that day. His quote was very fair and I booked him for the next day. Victor is a gem.  One of my best finds on Yelp thus far.  Stop reading Yelp reviews and just call him.  You'll see what I mean after you chat with him for a few minutes.   (you may call a few other plumbers just to see the difference).  His pricing cannot be beat since he owns his own equipment and has licenses required to do more complicated sanitation work (C-42), not just the basic C-36 license that other plumbers have (some aren't even licensed! so ask).  Other companies hire him to do this work as a subcontractor and add a mark-up to that.  This makes sense when the subcontractor doesn't have the people skills to acquire customers and do jobs on his own, but in this case, it's the complete opposite.  On top of this, Victor understands the lifetime value of a customer and knows that to earn one's trust, you have to be honest, transparent and do what's right for the customer long-term.  We got just that from him and are extremely satisfied with his work.  We'll be recommending him to all of our friends from now on.  

Now, here's the long version:

I had a clogged main sewer line, which turned out to be a much more difficult problem to resolve than we had previously anticipated.  We had two different companies (top LA plumbers on Yelp) come out who couldn't resolve it by snaking and hydrojetting and started scaring us about what may need to be done.  Everything was very vague and the pricing was all over the place.  From $16K to $80K.  The recommendations were also very inconsistent, which made me worried about their validity.  Completely understand that there are so many things that may be uncovered once they're underground, but I had major concerns about being scammed into doing unnecessary work and being ripped off.  Very common in this industry.    

I'm an extremely thorough person and did my due diligence when looking for a plumber to do this complicated sewage work.  I decided to quickly get up to speed on the latest sewage technology (e.g., trenchless pipe bursting, permaliner) to better educate myself to understand the different scenarios and options and feel confident in who I hire for such a big job.  I read hundreds of reviews, put in both, Yelp and Thumbtack, inquiries, and interviewed dozens of the top plumbers in LA.  They all sounded pretty much the same, until I spoke to Victor.  He is an honest and highly professional plumber who is an expert in his field.  He can provide the level of transparency and education that one needs when faced with a multi-thousand dollar plumbing situation.  The rest of the companies I spoke with either didn't want to bother going into the details to educate me on the options and risks or simply couldn't articulate them to my satisfaction.  Victor was a breath of fresh air.  We spent an hour talking about plumbing over the phone on a Saturday afternoon.  (it was quite fascinating!) That's when I knew that I could stop my search, hire him and cancel the rest of my estimate appointments.      

Victor and his crew came out, assessed the situation, and provided our options and their implications.  They broke ground the next day and worked efficiently for the next couple of days until our sewage woes were resolved.  Our situation was complicated - our pipes were from the 1960s, we're in the Hills, and the main sewer line was made up on different materials.  We had major root growth and cracks through our pipes.  Of course, we could've hydrojetted, but the roots would grow right back and we'd need to do this on a 6-12 month basis for the rest of our lives.  We ended up doing a permaliner and trenchless pipe bursting for two different segments of the pipe, essentially replacing the entire sewer line from our house to the city line.  Victor's pricing was unmatched and he provides a lifetime guarantee on the trenchless pipe replacement and 20 years on the permaliner.  He kept us updated throughout the entire process, showed us live videos of the progress and obstacles, and fixed everything!!!  He even took a look at our indoor plumbing situation and provided his expert opinion on a few things we were considering.  Trust me, this decision will save you thousands of dollars and peace of mind that you're getting the best quality work.  Plumbing is no joke.

I believe what makes a great business is not only if you do great work ( which Victor does)  but how you handle possible conflict with a customer ( he does so patiently and graciously and makes sure you are beyond satisfied)
He makes sure you have knowledge of what is being done and how your house works, he is very patient in making sure you understand. I now remember why I hired him back when i did out of multiple of great plumbers i had come look at my property. He is patient, thorough, and has quality work.  
I am a landlord and have vacation properties the guests aren't always concerned about what they throw down the sinks and I had a plumbing emergency  and  had to call another Plumber... That plumber said I needed some pipes changed and suggested that maybe i didn't need my mainlines switched at the beginning.. I was upset so i got a second third opinion and had Victor himself come out ( I was very upset at the prospect I may have paid thousands for something I didn't need) Victor did not hesitate to come out right away. He graciously took a camera to all my plumbing and explained in great detail what had been done and what some issues may be ( no one else who said i needed extra work did this)  HE also found the problem I was having now- it was minor... No need to change any pipes. In fact since he was at my place he, free of charge,  did some upkeep on my plumbing which he did not have to ... an $800 job completely charge free just because I was an existing customer.
He ended up saving me  potentially other thousands of dollars had I gone with a new plumber and not double checked with him.

Hire Victor.  He's the best in the area, with the best equipment, and the best prices.  I spent a whole week calling around and getting estimates for a sewage line clean-out and potential replacement.   I ended up hiring two highly rated plumbers.  The first company snaked the hell out of my line, got some roots, but didn't solve the problem.  Then another company tried to hydrojet it to no avail.  Both companies would start the job and then say, Oh, we uncovered this, the cost is now X. And it kept climbing exponentially.  I was getting crazy quotes and recommendations - We may need to get a permit from the city to block off the entire one way street, dig it up, and replace the entire pipe.  You can imagine how much that would've been...  I was getting ready to sell off my left kidney to have running water again.  

In comes Victor.  He and his team worked tirelessly to resolve our problem, explaining everything thoroughly the entire time.  Their work is clean and efficient.  They use the latest technology and own it outright, which means he doesn't need to go through another company to do more complicated jobs.  To me that meant lower costs and knowing that I wouldn't have to deal with another crew.  We saved thousands (perhaps $20K+) by hiring Victor and ended up replacing our entire sewer line.  He does what's right for the customer, and thus, has a customer for life with me.  Highly, highly recommend!

Don't call anyone else. I am joining the chorus of everyone who has written about how amazing Victor is. We called him for a clogged toilet and another that was acting funny. Victor determined that our 85 year-old cast iron sewage pipes were literally crumbling, and needed to be replaced. He didn't charge for the hour or so he was here, and we hired him to replace everything that he deemed needed replacing. Well, this time I had a major problem...the roots came back again. I called Victor because my line was clogged, he did a camera thing and some other hi-tech sonar/radar stuff. He showed me the problem and where it was.  

I have a eucalyptus tree and had two pine trees directly over my sewer line, which after 20 plus years grew into a critical situation that required a lining to be inserted into my line. Victor advised me what needed to be done and gave me a very reasonable estimate (I know because two other rooter companies had given me estimates that were about $1,500 higher). I agreed to have to work done, he showed up on time and completed the job in one day. His crew was polite, efficient and left the with everything intact, the way it was when they arrived. The cost was the same as the estimate he had given me.

I have nothing but good things to say about Victor, his work ethic and his crew. I know this sounds like an ad, but for any plumbing  problems, big or small, give him a call.

Victor has done both minor and major plumbing work for my husband and my properties. We first got to know him through another plumbing company. We were sad to learn that he had left the company. I had some one come to fix my laundry drain and was told my pipe was too narrow and can not be fixed. Then I found Victor through Yelp. I have to tell you; Victor and his screw are the best in every way. We have a mainline back up on the weekend and he came out and work his hardest to clear the problem. He wasn't able to get it cleared that day but his screw was out firs thing Monday morning and got right to work replacing the clean out on the outside of the building. Then they hydro water jetted the line out and cleared the blockage. When they were finished you would never know that they had been there. We had Mike Diamond come out and they were unable to clear our shower drain. A friend recommended Victor. He came out the next day and quickly cleared the stoppage (turned out to be a massive hair clog) apparently too deep and tricky for Mike Diamond to get. We finally found a plumber we can call our own!  Okay not our own, but you understand what I mean.  Every time we had problems with our plumbing we did a combination of praying, going by our gut, some random searching and flying by the seat of our pants to find the right person.  It's never felt like we did find the right person.  But recently, after having the drain snaked two times back to back, in three or four months, I called Victor.  He came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, hopefully it'll be good for a very long time!  Victor is nice, he and his team wore masks, and they figured out more about our plumbing than anyone else had in twenty years.  It was a bigger issue than we had hoped for, but it's good to know what was going on and finally address it.  We highly recommend him for your plumbing needs, we'll share him with you!  He also has good equipment, which is helpful when you need it.  I will refrain from posting photos, but you can imagine how much better the bathroom looks without sewage decorating the floor.

Victor did a great job installing 5 new faucets and a garbage disposal!   He installed a new Delta 3594LF-CZMPU Linden Two Handle faucet that I got on Amazon in my bathroom, which required Dremeling the holes in the quartz countertop a bit bigger - and it came out fabulous.  

Then he installed a Delta Savile 19949-SSSD-DST faucet and soap dispenser to replace the crappy leaky plastic faucet in my RV.  We loved the new faucet so much, we got another one for our kitchen remodel.  

After the new georgeous Silestone Phoenix Quartz countertops were installed, Victor came back to install the new kitchen plumbing.  Victor went above and beyond the call of duty to engineer the complex installation of the piping for the new garbage disposal (which required cutting the sewer pipe because the new Blanco sink has the drains all the way in the back, which makes the garbage disposal sit directly in front of the sewer drain pipe)!  He made a 30 minute trip to the neighborhood plumbing supply for a few parts, and was back to finish the job pronto!   No leaks and everything looks beautiful!  Victor has very reasonable prices, and he is super nice - I have absolutely no complaints.  I highly recommend Victor's Rooter!

Victor was fantastic. He responded immediately to my plumbing emergency call, tried to accommodate coming to my house that evening. We eventually made an appointment for the next day. Victor came on time and pretty readily assessed the problem and explained it clearly. My mainline was backed up with roots (expected), but I also requested he update some of my old plumbing to ABS to prevent this from happening. He didn't try to fool me with things I didn't understand and his estimate was perfectly reasonable. He was able to finish the job on time (1.5 days) and kept me updated with pics throughout the day. Unbelievable to find an honest and pleasant professional who can be a life saver when you need help with plumbing issues! We are extremely happy with Victor and his team's work!

We had a main sewage line blocked by tree roots. I interviewed 5 rooters/plumbing companies. Though the original quotes for our job were similar, I chose Victor based on his great communication skills and honest consultation over the phone. In person he was much more personable and very professional in every way. Even when we encountered un expected problem in addition to the original spot repair and root removal, Victor shared his honest opinions with me as well as alternative options.

Unlike many big companies and contractors, Victor is the one who owns the company, answers all phone calls, and actuall runs all the work with his crews. I noticed that he owns all the major equipment and run the show. Thus, his charge can be very reasonable. It was impressive to see that he directly supervise and put thorough finish touch on all the work. Lastly it was nice to see him treat his workers very well.

My family is happy as we can finally use bathrooms without worrying about the drainage issues. We are also grateful to find a reliable and honest plummer. We would give a highest possible score to him and best recommendation for anyone in need of plumbing work!

The best experience with Victor.  Great communicator, organized, efficient and HONEST!

I suffered through another bad plumber and called Victor to come in and fix the mess that was left behind.  He quickly diagnosed the issue . ...and was the only plumber to accurately do so.  If only I had gone with him instead of another 5 star plumber on Yelp who turned out to be a disaster, I would have saved so much time and headache.

I'm so glad I called Victor who will now be the guy I call for any future plumbing repairs.  I give him the highest recommendation.

At the risk of making Victor too sought after, I will share this stellar review so that you, too, can have a reliable, responsive, pleasant to be around professional at your finger tips should plumbing problems beset you. Good grief, Victor is a relief. He makes issues with your pipes seem way less hairy (pun!) than they would be with a less capable and aware practitioner. He gets the job done with the friendliest most professional attitude and makes you feel like you're in really good hands. So, yes, it's a bummer that your shower is clogged and your plunger isn't doing the trick. But way less so now that you know about Victor.

We had a great experience with Victor! A plumber we worked with told us that we needed trenchless drain repair and that he'd do it for us for a lot of money. We called Victor, he got here in 30 minutes, and put a camera down the drain. He told us we didn't need to change anything and that the plumber had been lying to us.

He was very professional and efficient and we will definitely be working with him in the future!

After a day of not calling me back as promised and a second day of no show, Victor who seemed to be in a hurry finally showed up on the third day and asked me to figure out how to shut the water down in my unit in preparation for the repair and call him back. I figured that out rather quickly and called him right back multiple times and texted him as well, never heard back from him since then. I waited  three weeks before leaving this review just in case I hear back from him and I didn't. It's understandable if the job is too small or he is too busy and just not interested but it's not OK to ignore the costumer and leave them in limbo. I called another plumber who did a great job and in fact never needed the water in the whole unit to be shut down. I have a record of my text messages and phone calls to him on my phone in case Victor decides to dispute this story.

I am totally recommending Victor to do repairs on your plumbing needs. He goes far and beyond to fix my sewer issues that were caused by another plumber who tried to scam me. Victor was willing to step in and suggested to me what's necessary or not. He fixed my broken sewer pipe in a matter of hours and did such an excellent job. Our 2 master bathroom sinks backed up twice in 3 weeks. The first time, it cleared 24 hours after I tried pouring Drano. When it happened a second time, I knew we needed professional help. Having a 50+ year old house, we have used our share of rooter and plumber companies. Our usual guy was booked solid for this weekend, so I turned to Yelp and found Victor. He came out promptly on a Saturday morning, took a look and warned us about the possibility of installing a cleanout given the configuration of double sinks in these old houses. Thankfully after several tries with the power snake, he managed to clear out the giant hair clog! Very professional, and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely call him again if we need his services. My old water heater finally died and I purchased a new one from Home Depot. Home Depot offered to install it and I received a call from the company that does it for them. Their contractor showed up with an attitude and told me that it is such a pain to deal with my water heater due to it being located on the second floor, and he was not happy that there was no parking on my street, and he literally told me that he wouldn't really want to do it. He quoted me an amount two times more the price of the unit itself for installation.
After I closed the door behind him, I found Victor on Yelp and gave him a call. In an hour Victor was installing my water heater. He is very professional, honest and the quote was very reasonable. I am very happy with their service and I will definitely use them again should I need a plumber!

Victor's Rooter is a fantastic company -- highly recommend hiring Victor.  He and his team succeeded where others failed and saved us a lot.

We had a badly clogged drain in one of our bathtubs. After trying to snake it ourselves, we initially hired someone else. They tried for a while to clear it, but eventually gave up and told us the whole pipe was closed and needed to be replaced, quoting nearly $1,000. Suspect of their analysis, we decided to get a second opinion from Victor and we're very glad we did so. He found the clog in the elbow -- made worse by the previous company's attempt -- cleared it by taking it apart, and restored the bathroom to full operation. And all for a fraction of what the other company had quoted us -- and their suggested repair wouldn't have even fixed the problem!

We'll definitely be going back to Victor in the future when plumbing issues and projects arise.

This is the 2nd job my mom had for Victor and it was a large one- he installed a new tankless water heater and got rid of the old one and also installed a water spigot on the outside of her house. Victor is the man to call for any of your plumbing needs. We had a leak under the house that another company said would take knocking out the plaster and part of the wall on the side of the house. Victor came out and gave us a second opinion. No wall knockout and less then half the price! Yaaay. He also took notice of the drain and fill lines on our water heater and on his suggestion I had them replaced to avoid trouble down the line. It is nice to have a knowledgable plumber that notices small pro active things! He is friendly and knows his stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or refer him to a friend or neighbor.

We had always had issues with our pipes and had annual rooter service which caused the pipes to crack under the house and leading up to the city line.  Victor was punctual and professional especially when dealing with the city which can sometimes be a difficult task.  He handled it with ease which made it easy for us too.  It is difficult to find an honest plumber and I've had so many experiences where the quote is based on how urgent the need is.  He has helped look at other quotes I've received and given an honest appraisal with no pressure to use him.  I can't recommend him and his crew enough.

I have used several different companies over the last few years ( I manage a few properties) and am completely satisfied with the response and job well done by Victor and his crew. I called and left a message, got a response within just a few minutes and he gave me an estimated time of arrival that he kept. Very friendly efficient clean work. Yelp does it again. I was in need of someone to inspect our main line as I knew it was time for it to be replaced. I found Victor on yelp and sent him a message and he responded with 10 minutes. He didn't charge for his initial visit and inspection as we couldn't gain access to the main cleanout. Once that got sorted out I had another company video camera the line and they agreed it needed to be repaired. I circled back around to Victor and he offered me a quote over the phone and was very informative about potential cost and scope of work. He came over and took a look at the line and agreed with the prior plumbers assessment. I ended up going with victor because of his quick communication, knowledge and honesty. To top it off he came in cheaper as well. Very glad I found him and happy with the work!

Woke up Sunday morning with a mainline sewer blockage. UGH! The rooter service that I've used in the past wanted too much to come out on a Sunday. Reluctantly I called the smell good plumber and they couldn't come out until Monday afternoon, so I turned to Yelp for my Plan C, and lucky for me I saw all the great reviews for Victor. I was pleasantly surprised when a real person answered the phone, and better yet, it was actually Victor himself. He arrived within an hour and had our sewer running again in no time. And most importantly, I didn't have to listen to a bunch of B.S. up-selling of repairs and services that I didn't need. Victor is just a real nice honest guy who knows what he's doing and isn't out to screw you.

If you have a plumbing emergency like we did today, VICTOR is your man!  At 9 am, I discovered that our drain was overflowing and water was flooding everywhere in the bathroom!  What a disaster since we have guests TOMORROW!  I called our regular plumber but he was out of town!  I tried another highly rated plumber but he didn't come to this area.   I found Victor, desperate for help and was relieved when he answered right away and came 4 hours later!  He was FAST and FIXED the problem right away!  He was SUPER pleasant to work with, friendly and kind, and he didn't try to upsell us on anything!  I saved Victor's number on my phone.  I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICTOR!  They are available 24/7 and you won't regret calling him!  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FIXING OUR DISASTROUS PLUMBING EMERGENCY!!!

Great service! Came out the same day, did a camera inspection, explained every nook and knick in the pipe and what can and needs to be done about it. Gave us a clear time frame on how long pipes will hold and in how long they need to be changed. Gave us a great price on changing drainage pipes. Highly recommended!  Victor arrived right on time, didn't keep me waiting.   I had a drain where water just wouldn't go down, and he was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the issue. I called Victor on Tuesday, for an inspection of our Main. He gave me a window of 8 to 10 am on Thursday. He did not show up nor did he call to let s know that he could not make it. When we called he said that he was busy on another job but he would make it around 12 to 2pm. Again he did not show up nor did he call. When  finally I called at 3pm, he did not pick up and I had to leave him a message. He finally came at 5PM and did a camera inspection of our main sewer and promised to come next week to hydro jet our main next week. He subsequently called to inform that he would not be available until 3-4 weeks later. Rather than seeking another plumber, I decided to wait it out because he had good ratings on Yelp.

Update: 2/26/16
Today Victor showed up promptly at 9 AM to Hydro jet our sewer line. He did the job himself without the aid of an assistant. He was courteous and professional and did his best to diagnose and recommend solutions for our frequent blockage which was caused by people throwing coffee grinds into their kitchen sink. He flushed our main line as well as some feeder lines from the vents and by all indications, we should be good to go for a while. He also offered a warrantee of his work for 90 days. I am happy that I waited for him and no longer have any qualms to recommend or to use him again.

My tankless water heater decided to spring a leak and now I have a swamp in my back yard!  =[  I took it upon myself to try and fix the leak this morning.  I worked on it for several hours and finally gave up... Time to call an expert! I called several plumbers and all of them were pretty rude and none of them could come fix my problem the same day.  NO BUENO! I NEED MY HOT WATER TONIGHT!

Finally, I called victor.  Super nice guy!! I explained my situation to him and he even commended my valiant effort of doing it myself.  He said he would try and make it to my house by 7 pm and that if he couldn't be here on time, that he would send one of his assistants to at least start the job before he could arrive.  Bottom line, he promised me that the job would get done and I could take a nice hot shower tonight.

Sure enough, his assistant showed up and started the job and victor arrived shortly after.   They did an awesome job and were both very friendly and professional . I would recommend to anyone.

My son used the bathroom and needless to say, it was clogged. Bad. I called up Victor's in the morning and he was here within a couple of hours. He even gave me a courtesy call while he was on the way to let me know what his ETA was.

He was extremely nice and not grossed out by our toilet (a relief for me). He fixed the issue within 5 minutes and stuck around for another 15 to make sure everything was working properly.

I highly recommend this service. He was a professional and took care of the issue within minutes!!! Will definitely use again!!

I reached out on Yelp around midnight, after I came home to a kitchen sink FULL of water, nearly overflowing and wouldn't drain! By 8:30am the next morning Victor called me and I had a 10:30am appointment. To be honest I was just stoked I found a company to come so quick for such a good price, I didn't care too much if they were good. Then Victor and and his guy came and they were professional, nice, fast, and efficient. They fixed the drain despite it not being as straightforward as I had assumed it was when I messaged him originally. Have you ever procrastinated on a repair that you know was going to one day blow up on you ?  My sewer line had backed up on me a year and half ago. On top of that I needed my kitchen line repaired due to a corroded pipe that had caused my laundry line to overflow.  I had another plumber band-aid the kitchen line issue to get me by.  When it came time to deal with my sewer line, that former plumber never returned my calls. In the course of the last couple of years, I had a couple of different companies tell me I needed to cut into the foundation of my home by way of my entry and kitchen floor to fix the kitchen pipe. This was not a cost I could wrap my head around. In my search for an honest plumber, I found Victor on Yelp. My first impression of Victor was how knowledgeable he was. I knew within the first 10 minutes I could trust him. He was the only contractor who suggested putting in a whole new kitchen line along side of the house and under the driveway. There was no pressure to do the repairs that day. Even though it took me a year and half to move forward with repairs, Victor always answered the phone to come out and rooter my sewer line to keep it operating , checked my kitchen line and even unclogged my bathroom sink. This last visit my sewer pipes were further deteriorating. I decided to call my insurance agent to go over the sewer line issue and Victor helped discuss the situation with my agent, who by the way was so impressed with Victor that he started asking him questions on materials and advice on his own house. Ultimately, I decided to move forward with a new sewer line and kitchen line that Victor and his crew whipped through in 2 days. He even patched up the concrete in my driveway and stucco on side my house. I was left to handle the homestead myself as my family had to go out of state. Victor always kept me informed, took pictures for me to send my husband out of state, explained the process and time line as things unfolded. He made my life easy! His crew was always on time and made me feel comfortable. I cannot recommend Victor enough. He is one of the last good guys on this planet.  Please don't bother contacting anyone else. Victor is the real deal.

I posted a 5 star review 3 months ago...and after today, I have to update it again...Another 5 star!!! Victor fixed my toilet in 3 minutes and caught luckily the fact that the valve will burst soon and saved me thousands by not coming home to a condo full of water and furniture damage!! I can't say enough positives about our experience with Victor and his team.  

We've owned our home for four years and have been plagued with plumbing problems since we moved in (mainly due to tree roots).  After wasting money on poor quality emergency rooting services we learned how to do the rooting ourselves (thanks to the good people at Quality Equipment Rentals on La Brea - shout out to those guys, too).  After several years of quarterly DIY rooting it was time to look into long term solutions (trenchless pipe).

I called several professionals (some legit, others not) for diagnostics and pricing and received a range of quotes.  Victor wasn't the cheapest (nor the most expensive) but he was far and away the best person I spoke to: responsive, kind, affordable, and knowledgeable.  

We had some major work done and it was worth every penny.  Victor was super easy to work with, fun to chat with, his team was great, and the job was extremely well done.

Main sewage line leak into the public sidewalk. Victor came out to look at the situation, he was professional and communicated well. The line was broken eight ft below the surface. There was a pool of sewage that was collecting for who knows how many years. Victor took care of the necessary permits and was prompt and communicative, sending photos and calling with frequent updates. I would call Victor for future sewer line breaks.

I recommend Victor. I had a backed up sewer line. He did a camera inspection the next day and gave me a reasonable estimate to replace the last five feet of sewer line near the sidewalk. He started the job as soon as the rain stopped. At the end of day one he said the city's lateral pipe was fractured, which he could not before due to roots completely blocking his camera. I approved the extra work and he finished the job the next day. Gave me a new cleanout without being asked and snaked my bathtub without extra charge. I was out of town so he sent me pictures all along the way and kept in close touch. The only small thing I did not like is his estimate form showed Visa and MasterCard logos, but when I asked to pay by credit card, he wanted a 3% surcharge, so I just mailed him a check. All in all, very happy with Victor.

Water heater was causing a leak, so I called around for a plumber on a Thursday night. While most other plumbers were charging a ton + unavailable till the following week, Victor was able to give a diagnosis over the phone (via photo by text message) and show up Friday afternoon.

He arrived within the time he confirmed, observed the leak, and explained a few possibilities for what could be causing the problem. Wanting an immediate fix, we continued with the original solution he mentioned over the phone.

I asked many questions about avoiding our issue in the future and he was very knowledgable.

We had a washing machine leak so we found Victor here on Yelp and made an appt for later that day. Victor showed up a little late due to traffic but had the courtesy to text me his ETA as he was getting closer. He took the time and diagnosed the leak problem. Great help and honest guy! We are very lucky to find Victor here on yelp. We had a problem with our kitchen sink garbage disposal leak and so we checked out yelp and reviews. I called Victor and ask how much he charges to fix the problem and gave us a free quote to check out what the problem is. He came by the same day and checked out the problem and gave us a reasonable price and a great warranty. Not to mention we called him the end of the day and he came by promptly. We appreciate the time and professionalism.
The following day he came by and was able to squeeze us in on his booked schedule. I asked him we really need to have it fixed as soon as he can. Great customer service!
He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I didn't get the name of the other guy with him but both of them were very efficient and fixed our kitchen sink problem. In addition to that, they were open to answering questions and educating us in other plumbing concerns we may have.
They were able to fix our bar sink as well at the same time and gave us a fair quote.
I will definitely call them again for future plumbing problems we may have and definitely recommend him to our friends.

Had a pipe burst in our townhome complex at about 8pm and several units were affected.  Found Victor on yelp and called him. Victor answered right away and came out personally since all his employees were already out on jobs. He worked quickly and efficiently.  He took care of the problem and water was turned on promptly for the whole complex. Wow great service!
We had  our main line sewer backed up last night Victor answered the phone and came out at 1am. After clearing the line he came back the next day to do a thorough diagnostic, he recommended to replace the sewer system, our home is almost 80 years old and it was still the original pipe.
He explained everything, was on time, and up front with his prize. We decided to have them do the work. Thank you very much Victor's Rooter and Plumbing!!!!!

I am a real estate investor and used Victor for my latest project. He Hydrojetted the main line and after cleaning it out he determined it is cracked in too many places that it needed to be replaced. Being in the industry I have a general idea of prices, and his prices are very reasonable. Other plumbers came out and were asking for double the price what Victor was charging. Needles to say he did the job for me,  came out great,  on time,  professional and most importantly honest. I highly recommend anyone looking for a plumber to give him a call. Victor' Rooter really is as good as it gets. No charge for the estimate - which some of his competitors demand - punctual and cordial. Victor arrived when he said he would. He and his guys were friendly and professional and delivered a superb job: Installing a tankless water heater to replace our existing 100 gallon water heater. A very clean installation.
His bid was fair and there were no added costs appearing later out of nowhere.  After the installation he explained the workings and even volunteered to help with applying for the energy rebate from the city.

Believe all the great Yelp reviews! Victor just left my apartment and I'm so pleased with the overall service and experience. He answered my desperate phone call to unclog my shower and made time for me next day in the evening so I wouldn't have to leave work early.

Before Victor set foot in my apartment, he put on shoe covers - while this might seem like a small detail, it speaks volumes with how conscientious he is. After that, he diagnosed the problem and fixed the clogged drain in 10 minutes. And it comes with a 30-day warranty.

Best of all, he's a genuinely nice guy (we talked a little sports) with very fair pricing - so refreshing in an industry notorious for over-charging.

Victor is THE MAN!!!!!

I had found Victor on Yelp when I needed a plumber just before Thanksgiving when all my drains backed up. When I called him on the phone and explained the issue, he suspected that it was our septic system since we had not had it pumped for several years. He first suggested to save me money (this coming from a plumber?) I should try clearing it myself by renting a power-snake which I did but it did not clear.

Victor came out the next day and tried clearing it from our clean-out at the back of the house and it was still clogged. He then went into the garage and tried to open the old clean-out there but the cap was frozen to the cast iron pipe. He must have spent a good hour and we came to the conclusion that is was my septic.

Victor said that there was no charge for the work since he could not clear the drain. I was speechless since other plumbers charge just to come out and look.

So today I had to call him again since our main line was clogged and he showed up withing an hour and cleared the blockage for only $75.

Victor is professional, pleasant, explains everything he does, and most of all honest and reasonably priced .

In my opinion, if you don't call Victor for your plumbing needs, your throwing money down the drain!

Should be called Houdini's Rooter and Plumbing. Victor did show up to check out the job, a simple pool deck drain clean out. He scheduled to return to do the job, but never showed up. I texted him after waiting for 1/2 the day. His excuse was a family emergency...that was over 10 days ago. I've never heard from him again to reschedule. Hope his family is OK, but IMO a professional would have reached out to explain or reschedule.

Victor's Rooter is a first class company in every way. They are professional, reasonable and licensed and insured which is rare in the field. We recently had them do a big plumbing job where they replaced our pipes. Victor gave me two options to start with and he even suggested we go with the less expensive approach to save us some money. However, because we wanted to take care of the problem once and for all we went with the more extensive approach. Victor and his team were timely and professional and cleaned up after themselves. In addition, Victor went above and beyond the call of duty by taking a look at some other plumbing issues we had in our home. We honestly have had at least five different plumbers over the past eight years we've been in our house here to help with this issue and we've never had anybody who was as great as Victor is. In addition, he is a lovely person to work with. I highly recommend his services!

We had a bit of an incident yesterday in our office bathroom around 11AM and a day full of clients ahead of us. Needless to say we went into a bit of a panic. I called 7 plumbers who were booked,  unavailable, didn't answer or couldn't get to us before 6pm. Victor not only picked up right away, but understood the situation with us having a lot of people in and out all day and was able to get to us within 2 hours. He was fast, reasonably priced and explained what likely occurred so we could avoid it in the future. Victor is amazing. Our sewer line collapsed from tree root intrusion and the clay pipes' old age so after a failed rescue attempt by my regular plumber I found Victor's on Yelp. He came over promptly, ran the camera through the sewer and recommended the trenchless pipe burst replacement solution, which would take only a few days and would not require street closure. We live on a long dead-end street so that was important. Victor told me about every step of the process including necessary permits, he adhered to his schedule and was always available by phone or text. His price was very reasonable, and I did shop around. His crew was prompt, efficient and kept the work area clean and safe. I am delighted with the final result - a free-flowing sewer line! - and equally impressed with Victor's work, knowledge and professionalism. So glad I found Victor. I definitely want him to do more work for me in the future.

Victor was fantastic and such an honest repairman! Victor is a knowledgeable, highly skilled, honest plumber who sincerely cares about the quality and reliability of his work.  We are extremely impressed with how promptly he responded to our inquiry regarding repairing/replacing our main line which runs underground from the front of the house all the way to the street.  The main line was damaged from age and encircling roots.  We had been calling for rooter service practically every month until finally that failed to work.  Victor completed this huge job in a timely, thorough, honest way using the latest technology and materials.  Where corners could have been cut, he made sure that the was work was done properly and high quality. Booked an appt w Victor for a bathroom sink drainage problem. Within 20 min or so, drain was working again! And his unclogging service came w a 30 day warranty. A few days later, noticed that there was a tiny leak in the drainage pipe leaking about 10ml over a 12 hr period. Certainly not an emergency but something that had to be looked at. Called Victor & he came to re check and took care of the leak immediately.

I am so gald I ran into this page because Victor was a true house saver. My house had an emergency. The main pipe was clogged or something, so the toilet/shower water wouldn't flush/drain down. Today is New Year's Eve, so all the plumbing services that I called was either closed or didn't have any workers available until tomorrow (though their pages say their services are 24/7). However, Victor answered my call and came to help right away. I couldn't be happier with the work he has done and him actually coming on the same day (holiday night). He was very professional and true to his words. If there's any other breakdowns in the future I will definitely call him again.

I was in trouble today..Went to flush the toilet and well.. Let's just say it wasn't a pretty site.. After cleaning up .. I started to yelp a plumber  and found Victor. Read the reviews and gave it a shot ( past experience with plumbers have not been good). I called at 8:30 am, Victor immediately picked up and promptly scheduled an appointment within the hour.. Excellent Service! I am so happy I finally found an honest, professional, and knowledgeable plumber. Victor is the most remarkable and genuine person. He took notice of my urgency when I called him about our stove, dryer, and our water heater being out. Victor did a great job for us on our construction.  He not only did what he said he would, but he went above and beyond and did things that he knew would help for other aspects of our construction like putting in drains for our driveway we were having done, and removing the cheap house draining lines and replaced them with quality solid drain ones so roots wouldn't damage the line.

I called Victor to have him take a look at 5 clogged toilets and 1 clogged shower at a Fraternity house. Excess toilet paper and low flush toilets were the problem. Very responsive over the phone and come as promised. They definitely have very good knowledge about plumbing and they finish their work very professionally.
I had a backyard pipe leak that I was afraid that it would take a long time to figure out where the problem was because everything was underground. But Victor quickly figured out the source of the problem and completely fixed the problem next day. He also helped me with some other minor work for free.
They also clean up very well after the job is done.
I would definitely use this plumbing company again when I run into any kind of related issues.

Just bought a new home and found out the main sewage pipe that goes to the street had a crack and tree roots and could collapse any day. I called around town and everyone was giving me crazy expensive prices and not very knowledgeable. I called and spoke with Victor and he was very professional and friendly. The price he quoted me was very reasonable compared to the other companies. I called Victor's Plumbing because of the high Yelp reviews. I made an appointment for 11:30AM. However, by 12.30PM no one showed up. When I texted Victor, he said his guy had a flat tire but will be on his way. At 1:30PM, still no show; Victor says he'll come out himself and should be there at 5PM! Wait, my appointment was for 11:30AM NOT 5PM! Plus, what's up with the flat tire story?  I ended up calling a different plumbing company. Victor assured me that's not how they did business and offered to pay $100 of my plumbing bill. Months later that never happened either. When I called to follow up on my reimbursement he said he had sold the company and relocated to Texas, but would send me a check. Still hasn't happened. Don't make appointments or offer to reimburse if you don't plan on following through.

I've never reviewed anything on Yelp before, but Victor was so great that I had to, to let everyone know! I called him today, a Saturday, at 2pm, he said the earliest he could come was at 6pm, but he would call me back if he could schedule me sooner. Well, about an hour later, he was calling to tell me he could be there at 4pm. Every other plumber I called either didn't answer or couldn't get me in at all this weekend

Victor and his partner were on time, super nice and fixed the clog in no time! They charged what they said, and cleaned up afterwards, all in all, great service!

Hopefully you won't have a plumbing emergency, but if you do, definitely call Victor!

Victor and his team are very professional, courteous and are really passionate about their plumbing work. Victor recently did the copper re-piping of my entire house. He was very knowledgeable and honest. He provided  me with a number of options and explained to me the pros and cons. After my decision to go for copper repipe, he and his team did a fantastic job! Now everyone in our house is enjoying our great showers and clean water. Just recently, I called him back to fix my clogged sewer which is unrelated to his previous repipe work. He and his team immediately responded and did a hydrojet to remedy the issue.  I couldn't be more satisfied as a customer than to see Victor and his team complete the job with so much passion and dedication.

Very impressed.  We had a sewer backup on a Friday evening.  Our usual rooter guy didn't call back either Friday night or Saturday morning, so, legs crossed, we started searching for someone who wouldn't gouge us for the weekend work.  As usual, when YELP is this strong, we were very satisfied.

Victor came within 90 minutes (as promised).  They were fast, clean and efficient.  Charged what I had been paying for my old service (without a surcharge for the weekend).  He explained what he did and used a camera to show me the condition of our sewers.

Bottom line - we have known for years that we need to replace the sewer.  But we have gotten by with an annual clean out and on occasional backup.  We had a camera inspection years ago and it showed the same thing.  So we will have to do something.  Victor was very straight forward and also suggested getting competitive bids.

Thanks for getting things flowing again.  I think you have a new fan.

I've used Victor's rooter and plumbing services on three occasions - lately he replaced my lateral sewer line out to the street - and each time I received excellent service. Victor was super nice and answered all my questions with clear explanations. I thought my water heater was broken and wasn't sure if I should fix it or just get a new one. My water heater is nine years old and the possible components broken just didn't make sense to fix with how much the parts were. Decided to just go ahead with getting a new one and Victor gave me a very reasonable price and trust me I've asked around multiple places and got such ridiculous prices! Made the appointment to get my old one swapped out on the following week's Wednesday and he was going to come take a look Monday to make sure he prepares everything necessary for the installation. Very professional and prepared. However, late Sunday night I realized my condo was actually not getting any gas. I never checked the gas which in hindsight I should have checked that first. I only realized when I tried to cook something and my stove wasn't lighting. I rarely cook so that's why I found out so late. I called Victor the next day which was the Monday he was scheduled to come take a look and told him about the situation. Realized it was a gas problem and not the water heater itself. Told him I was really sorry for not realizing sooner and he was so understanding about it even when he already placed an order for the water heater.  He is a really genuine guy who runs an honest business and is very dependable and nice. Though I didn't get any actual work done this time around, I will definitely get my repairs done by Victor in the future! Thank you so much! :)

Our house was built in 1920 s. The old cast iron waste lines all have to be replaced. Victor came and gave me an estimate last April. For some reason the replacement job was postponed to this Oct. Victor still honored the estimate he gave me last April. Thank you Victor so much for your kindness. He and his team finished the work in a very professional way, very promptly and beautiful workmanship. Most importantly he was staying at the job site whole time working and monitoring to make sure that everything had been done correctly. He also corrected some other issues of our plumbing system which were not to code for free.
I actually had some other bids for my project. Victor's estimate was one of the most reasonable ones. These days it is not difficult to find a plumber but it is very hard to find a good one. Victor's is the good one. Keep it up with the good work Victor's! Highly recommend.

Had a main sewer line issue, which backed up on Friday night. Victor came over the next morning, unclogged the line and explained the procedure to replace it given it was 90% filled with roots. He has a camera, which goes through the line so you can see where is the problem. We agreed on price and scheduled repair. Victor and his crew completed the job in two days via pipe bursting method-trenchless, cleaned up the yard and filled the hole with concrete. Victor also helped me out to install a new toilet without charge! He's a really great guy and very knowledgeable. Not even one single bump during the process. If you have plumbing issues, look no further, Victor is your guy.

My Water Pressure Regulator started to leak and had water all over on a Sunday. I chanced upon Victor through Yelp and called him up. He showed up in such short notice and gave me a  reasonable estimate. Worked on the problem and replaced all the broken parts and neatly cleaned up everything. Looking for an honest, skilled and knowledgeable plumber? Victor is your guy. We were told by another company that we needed $14K worth of sewer pipe replacement and decided we'd better get a second opinion: boy, are we glad we did. Victor and his assistant put a camera down through two clean-outs to show us that our pipes are intact, and the recommended repairs are unnecessary -- and there was no charge for his assessment. While he was here, we asked him to take care of another unrelated plumbing issue that a couple of other guys were unable to fix: correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it -- and wasn't going to charge us for it until I insisted. I spent some time chatting with him and he's a really good guy. Used to work for the big plumbing companies, but was put off by the unethical behavior he witnessed that's a problem with the commission-based pay structure they employed. So, 10 years ago, he went off on his own. He and his assistant have clearly worked together for a long time -- a smooth and efficient team, and like I said in the beginning, trustworthy.  Can't recommend this company highly enough. They've earned all my plumbing business moving forward.

As a house manager in Cheviot Hills I am constantly calling people for services. I need to work with people that are quick to respond, honest and efficient. I came across Victor when I was looking for a plumber to help with water pressure in the showers. He came over that same day and not only fixed our issue, he was quick, clean, and very friendly. I also called Victor when SoCal Gas shut off our gas for a gas leak. He was honest in telling me to hire professional leak detectors to find the leak and then call him to fix it. That saved me a ton of money. Another time Victor explained over the phone, how to reset the earthquake valve on the house. This was a life saver, as we had no hot water or heat. He also has fixed crumby work from other plumbers, sent me pictures of their unacceptable work and was able to help me get my money back!  He is so helpful and trustworthy. We had our sewer line and a connector to the main LA line replaced by Victor about 3 months ago. He was very reasonable, not the cheapest but a very fair price. You get what you pay for and Victor's service was worth every penny. He was on time, finished on time and stayed within his estimate. His crew was very friendly and efficient. Victor came out on short notice to give us an estimate on our sewer line. We are selling our house and needed a counter estimate for the repairs requested. We had Victor replace 97 feet of sewer in our house and were very happy with his service. He was prompt in responding to our call, made a quick appointment to come to the site, patiently explained everything to us and kept his appointment times. While he was doing the work, at times when I was not present, he sent me texts, photos and videos from the ditch to show me the progress being made. He was courteous the whole time. We have recently bought a house in Inglewood and unfortunately we were having constantly sewer issues. That was before meeting Victor and his team.
The first time he came, he immediately inspected our entire sewer system (from the the kitchen to the street city sewer line). He explained us all options without never being pushy. We kept asking for bids with a couple of other plumbers and our conclusion, is that is very fair with prices and very honest with his diagnose.
We decided to hire him. His change most of our sewer line which was totally rotten and infested with roots (I was snaking the pipes myself every 3 months for 1 year).
Job done within a day (that includes changing buried cast iron pipes and trenchless relining under the sidewalk).
On the top above that, Victor is a very pleasant and smart guy who stayed on site supervising his team during the entire process and who is always happy to explain the situation.
He and his team are the kind of workers you want to hire.

When our main sewage line backed up in our apartment building we first called a different 5-star company. That plumber came out and worked on the problem  for quite some time but gave up and left! We then called Victor. Victor knew how to deal with the problem right away. He was well equipped for the job. He removed tree roots and a lot of unmentionables from the line but then also ran a camera to find cracks in the old pipes. He ran a liner through the pipes and hopefully fixed the problem for many years! We are happy we found Victor!  Victor was very professional and pleasant to work with. We called Victor because of a leak that originated in the master bathroom tub on the second floor and ended in the kitchen on the first.   Victor came along with Abram, his assistance, and, after  inspecting the damage, reassured us (to our great relief..) that the problem is not with the pipes but merely with the sealer around the tub. Victor fixed the problem, gave us warranty and charged us very little for the work.  We even got a curtesy call a day later to ensure that all is well.
We strongly recommend Victor and will use no one else!

Victor and his assistant (Jimmy) were a godsend! I had a leak on the second floor of my property due to a clog somewhere on the 3rd floor facilities.  My home warranty then sent 2 useless plumbers who could not  fix the problem and then said was not covered through my insurance.  I then called All American Plumbing who spent 3 days at the property, botched the project and then left a 75 foot snake stuck in my drainage pipes.  After 2 weeks and 3 useless plumbers, a miracle happened with Victor who came highly recommended.  Victor was very prompt in answering your call.  Once he arrived, you could tell that he was very professional and knowledgeable.  He methodically assessed the situation and devised a plan to resolve this plumbing dilemma.  After a short period of time, the lines were unclogged, the stuck snake was removed, and the leak fixed, all of which 3 other plumbers could not accomplish in 2 weeks (Victor did this in less than 2 hours).  These can be stressful and smelly situations but Victor and Jimmy resolved my dilemma in a very expedient, professional manner, and all at a reasonable cost.  For all your plumbing needs, including emergencies, please call Victor's Rooter.  I'll be sure to do this if I need his plumbing services in the future. 10 stars!!!

My mother-in-law had a leak in her bathroom that was seeping into the bedroom. Victor arrived the day I called, when he said he would, he accurately diagnosed the root cause, and he fixed it. He called me when he was there and spent a good amount of time with me on the phone addressing all my questions--and I ask a lot of questions. It's rare to find people to do even the basics in SoCal when it comes to good customer service, but Victor is someone who clearly takes pride in his company, doing the best job, and making sure the customer is happy at the end of it.

Clearly he doesn't need any more 5 star reviews, but I can't help but wanting to write one.  Victor is a fine example of high Yelp reviews reflecting his true professionalism.  I wasn't sure about him when he had to reschedule me due to a major sewer problem at another client (but to be fair, he did offered to move me up the schedule, and even stop by the house and left a card in case I was available, but I couldn't meet him at that time).  But he was sincere and clear in the way he communicated, and ultimately won my trust by making a trip into town on father's day morning and even waiting at the door for half an hour when I overslept.  When I realized I missed our appointment, I was expecting that he would have left or even leave me an angry voicemail.  But instead, I was greeted by a friendly Victor who went straight to work with a big smile and saved me the embarrassment of having to apologize profusely for wasting his precious Father's day Sunday morning.  He worked fast, clearing up a clogged toilet and a laundry room sink in no time.  He was careful bringing his tools in and out, paying attention to make sure nothing gets dirty or damaged in the house.  He even made sure everything was nice and clean under the sink after he worked.  The whole time he was also just a nice and pleasant guy that I am happy to have at my house.  I was worried that all that courtesy and smile was because he was going to charge me a big fat bill for making him wait (and he knew I was desperate and had no choice but to let him unclog the toilet and the sink that morning), but being the upstanding guy that he is, he only asked for his normal service call for clearing up both clogs.  A lot of vendors on Yelp have a high volume of reviews because they beg or even borderline harass clients to write them a good review.  But Victor never even asked, even though he really deserved one.  I don't always have time to write reviews, but I really want share this experience with others on Yelp to honor this distinguished professional that truly deserve his high ratings.

I was highly impressed with Victor's Rooter Service. They were fully booked the day I called them needing rooter service, but they offered to come out to my home in the evening in order to accommodate me, for no additional charge. Once they arrived, they took the time to understand the problem and put thought into the best way to handle it. Victor's Rooter was my first call to repair my clogged bathroom sink (after I had replaced the corroded ushaped tube underneath and still had water leaking from the drain mechanism) yesterday.   He arrived exactly at the time he estimated, fixed the leak immediately by adjusting the valves, and afterwards cleared the obstruction in the pipe beyond.  He was prompt, professional, efficient, honest, and extremely reasonable in terms of the fee! I could not have been more satisfied with his work.  I will call Victor first for any future plumbing problem!

We initially called Victor's Rooter because our plumbing was backed up due to some serious root infiltration.  Victor did a quick job of resolving that issue, but informed us that due to old decaying cast-iron and clay pipes, we would need some major work done to keep it all running long term. Victor provided us with a very reasonable quote and was able to get the job done fast. Victor and his crew were professional and gracious, even willing to work around the nap schedule of our little one.  They got the job done on time and not a penny over their initial estimate.  Even when we encountered unexpected issues, they were able to find creative solutions to keep us on budget and stay committed to their original quote.  As first-time homebuyers, we were very eager to learn about how our plumbing and septic system works.  Victor provided us with a lot of info on maintaining our septic tank and tips to keep everything running smoothly.  He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - even drawing a schematic of our plumbing lines below the house for us to keep.  The crew was very respectful and left the area clean at the end of each workday. As you can see from the picture (roots inside the clay pipe running from our house to the septic tank)- we were in dire need of Victor's help!  All in all, I highly recommend Victor and his crew for the quality of their work, their commitment to staying on budget, and their overall professionalism.

Victor's Rooter & Plumbing is a well rounded and incredible company.  Their work is very efficient and Victor himself is knowledgeable, honest, and will explain the problem to your best understanding.  They are great at scheduling, even the last minute 'fixes.'  This company has become our 'go-to guys' for all things plumbing.  They have pulled lemon tree roots out of our pipes, worked on outside fountians, and even de-clog the air line to the dishwasher.  Everytime, it is done the right way, and no need for follow ups.  I strongly suggest using Victor's if you are looking for a job well done, honest people, and a good price.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial - You are in the RIGHT HANDS if you choose Victor and his team. Plumbing is almost always an emergency situation; for me it was a clog in the mainline which was causing all my plumbing to back up - and I have multiple bathrooms, so it was a mess! It was the end of the day, and still Victor came out and got my plumbing temporarily working, and then returned the next morning to completely fix the issue. As it turns out he found a massive crack in a pipe that had not been discovered by the plumbing company I had used previously to check the sewage system before buying the house. He replaced the pipe that had the crack, and you can't even tell that he had to dig up plants in my front yard to do the work. As a woman living in LA, I have had the frustration of being taken advantage of by many contractors who like to over charge, or pretend that they need to do more work than what's necessary. I can honestly say, Victor is an HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, DEPENDABLE, PROFESSIONAL plumber - that to me is invaluable!

I just said goodbye to Victor and his crew from Victor's Rooter/Plumbing and I felt that I should tell you my fellow Yelpers why I am so glad that Yelp helped me choose Victor's Plumbing.  My sewage line under the foundation of my house collapsed. As anyone who has been in my shoes knows that not having plumbing and finding an honest person to fix the problem is hard to come by.  I had to have a hole dug into the foundation from inside my daughter's room.  What a nightmare! I don't want to bore you with all the details but to tell you that my house was re-piped and repaired just as Victor had promised.  We ran into a situation which Victor honestly and openly addressed with me.  He actually educated me and walked me through the whole process from start to finish.  Victor and his crew did everything they could to help me through this stressful time and did not leave me without working sewage.

Victor is THE BEST!!!!  He's professional, a wonderful person and his customer service is top notch...truly exceptional.  Our main sewage pipe was blocked and all of the bathtubs and showers were being filled with sewage.  I called around 11, he took the call and fixed the problem immediately (especially impressive at the last minute on a Sunday).  Two of my cars were blocking the pipe that he needed to roto rooter...(the batteries happened to be dead since I've been out of town for a few months...)  Victor even helped fix that situation with AAA by helping me move the cars, etc...  Then he fixed the plumbing problem immediately (he's quick, it only took 5-10 minutes) and then sanitized the bathtubs and showers.  I've hardly ever seen such good customer service! I had a sewer line that collapsed and was referred to Victor's Rooter to have the line replaced.  My home is built on a concrete foundation and I have 3/4 solid wood floors.  I was quoted a very high price from another drain company to have the line replaced as they wanted to cut my foundation and tear apart my wood floor.  My plumber told me of a new technology that water drilled under a concrete foundation and then pulled in a new drain line through the opening made from the water coring under the concrete foundation.  Victor from Victor's Rooter came to my home, located my sewer line and marked the location.  I was quoted a price from Victor that was extremely fair and much less than my original quote and with no damage to hardwood floors.  The work was done within a few days of the quote and  was completed within the same day.  I am so very happy with my decision to go with Victor's Rooter and would recommend  his services to anyone with any type of sewer problems.

I am not a fan of dealing with contractors or of having plumbing problems.  Victor and his crew made this experience as painless as it could possibly be. Victor was on top of scheduling, organizing, and delivering. It was pretty clear that Victor has full mastery of his craft and that he enjoys doing what he does. I had a terrible plumbing problem on the afternoon of Friday, April 3.  I was to have a sit-down dinner for 20 people that evening, and my kitchen floor was flooded.  Because it was a holiday weekend, I could not reach anyone. I used Yelp, and by chance I spoke with Victor himself.  He came to Beverly Hills from the Valley in terrible traffic.  He found the problem immediately, and saved the day and evening. Victor is a true professional.  My bathtub faucet would not turn off.  To make matters worse, my fixtures were high end and so replacement parts had to to be special ordered.  Victor somehow found the part on short notice and then worked with us as we had the building HOA coordinate with the boiler company to turn off the boiler and water.  He followed up after the service to make sure that everything was okay.  I highly recommend Victor.  He answers his phone promptly and always follows up.  I highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Victor. He came right away on a weekend when we had a main line sewer problem on a weekend. He took video's of the problem inside the pipes without charging extra like every other plumber has, showed me exactly what the problem was, made a temporary fix and promised an estimate on a permanent fix. His permanent fix, a trenchless re-pipe with lifetime guarantee came in at about 1/2 of what others had quoted when I'd been given the same advice before.  He said it would likely be about 1/2 (and I never told him what the earlier quotes were) because most of the big plumbing companies contract out to guys like him to do the work -- but mark up the price so they can take a profit for themselves.  While on the property, Victor noticed a water regulator that was dripping and fixed that too after pointint it out to me.  The re-pipe work was done on schedule, in the promised timeframe, and at the promised price. They worked cleanly and efficiently.  We were so happy with his work that we pointed out a number of longstanding plumbing issues we'd just ignored.  For each, he explored pipes or crawled under the house, took photos of what was going on so he could show them to me, and thoroughly explained various methods to fix the problem --- some cheaper and some more expensive, with the advantages and disadvantages of each method so I could choose.  Again, each issue was fixed quickly and successfully at a very reasonable price.  I will definitely call Victor next time we need a plumber. Home owner with a broken water heater problem.  Here's how it went down:  Tenant texted me at 10:45pm telling me water heater is leaking & that they don't have hot water.  I couldn't sleep well & thinking of how to resolve this situation as quick as possible.  Dropped by the house the next day after work (4:45pm) to scope the scene & sure enough it was a broken water heater.  Last time I changed a water heater, I got home almost at 11pm, stressed out, & vowed to find other sources of rectifying the situation.  So I looked up plumbing services that service the Silver Lake area.  I called a few spots based on their review, but Victor was the only one that said he can be there tomorrow.  He gave me a price that beat the competitors, so the job got scheduled.  He showed up later than I expected, but in fairness, he did call & gave me a heads up.  However, I was more concerned of having the problem fixed that day & sure enough, it was.  He's an upfront guy.  Great customer service.  He wasn't nickle & diming.  It felt like I was talking to my neighbor rather than a hot shot pluming salesman.  Told him my problem & he got it fixed at a reasonable price & great customer service.  THAT's 5 STARS IN MY BOOK. Thanks bud.  I'll be contacting you real soon for that slab leak problem I mentioned.  Keep up the great quality work.
