I decided it was time to replace my 15 year old water heater after re-lighting the pilot before my morning shower became a common occurrence. George responded within minutes to my quote request sent through Yelp and they were available to replace my water heater that very same day, including a new enclosure. The work was professional and clean and I am happy with my new unit. This is definitely one of those instances where the Yelp reviews are spot on. I recommend them.

Got a call that our buildings water heater was leaking.. as the treasurer of our HOA, the responsibility fell on me to find a plumber and get everything squared away.
I called Real Plumbers Inc and Jose answered and said he could be here in 20 minutes. True to his word, 20 minutes later Jose was here and within 10 minutes of that had identified the problem. Luckily it was not the water heater, but a pipe leading FROM it. He patched it immediately so I was able to turn the water back on and we made an appointment to complete the repair in the next couple of days.
Quick, friendly and honest!

awesome awesome awesome!! I would definitely recommend these guys! family owned and really sweet. I got a great deal and they came quite quickly. put in a request at 11 at night, they called by 6:30am and were here by 9:45 which was awesome! they fixed the slow drain and my toilet (which was disgusting) and charged me a really really really reasonable price!

Max recently did a temporary relocation of my water heater for a small renovation project. He was very flexible when I needed to move the date a couple days later than originally planned. He was on time and efficient. He re-installed the water heater a few days later when the project was done and put everything back as before. I'm happy to support a local business and would definitely recommend or use Max's service again in the future if needed!

They came at short notice to evaluate the leak situation. That was great!
I contacted their office after that TWICE to try to get a proposal written up. A price estimate for a certain procedure so we could move forward. Wasn't trying to collect estimates. I just wanted the job done.
The office was nice, they picked up the phone said they would convey the message. The plumber who came to visit the site went AWOL. No response? Never got back to me. Never even told me that he was too busy and would have it later? He also quoted me some seemingly very high prices when he was there which didn't bother me, but there's NO excuse for poor communication. I know some companies do this to repel jobs that they are not interested in, but it says a lot when you have the wherewithal to communicate.

We had a massive leak on Memorial Day and had no idea what the issue was since we were gone when it occurred and DWP shut off the water. The team at Ace came over and did their best to fix the issue without the water turned on. Once the water was back on, it was clear there was yet another problem. The team came back and worked even more to fix anything without charging us again. They were so friendly, respectful and courteous. The experience couldn't have been better. Thank you!

After being without water for 6 days, trying to deal with my HOA and the DWP, on the matter, ROCKSTAR Plumbing fixed my leaks and delivered as promised, all within 4 hours of their arrival time this morning at 10:00. Joe Flores is a plumbing magician! He diagnosed the problem and showed me exactly where he would have to dig. He quoted me the price and told me he could get started on Monday
Joe's extensive knowledge was invaluable in this matter. His prediction of the job was absolutely precise. He was good to his word on the price of the job and I trust Joe and ROCKSTAR Plumbing and I highly recommend them!
And a shoutout to Joe's assistant, Gregory, you are working with the master!

Highly recommended. Miguel was very responsive and agreed to come within two hours in the evening to help us address the issue with our garden spigot. Once he arrived, he was friendly, professional and fixed the problem quickly. He also offered a few recommendations for other areas that should be addressed in the future. Much appreciated!

Oscar and 2 other people came to do hydrojetting and inspect a potential sewage issue with a camera.
The service itself was ok - they did the hydrojetting, although they were not very aware of cross-contamination. The pipes going inside the sewage were touching the gardening pipes they needed for water, and they were touching the outside table with their gloves which touched the sewage pipes.
Main issue:
I requested the video they recorded with the camera, because I needed it to show the city, and it was part of why we hired them. Oscar recorded a video, and told me that he sent it to his boss, Victor. He then told me a few minutes later that Victor reviewed the video, and said you have a year if you're lucky - the pipe needs to be replaced and will cost 13k. More on this later.
I asked Oscar if he could send me the video to my phone. He asked for my number, and after fiddling with his phone for a minute said you don't have an iphone, so I can't send it - what's your email? I gave him my email, and he said he had no internet. He supposedly tried again several times, although it really looked like he was pretending to do something on his phone but wasn't really doing anything. He finally said he'll send it later.
I then followed up with Victor for a whole week, and he kept saying that he will send it. Eventually, he said my employee Oscar accidentally deleted it from his phone. I said wouldn't you have it in your messages if Oscar indeed sent it to you that day like he said?, to which he replied sorry man, I can't help you. I don't have your video.
This video was later requested by the city to authorize an inspection. I really needed it. When the city finally came and did their own investigation, they said the pipe is totally fine and laughed at the comment of you have a year max. It was probably all an act, and it's clear why they wouldn't send a video.
Very shady and unprofessional. I would not recommend.

These guys were the best! I called them for a second opinion and they responded quickly, requested a photo of our broken emergency shut-off valve, and came back with a reasonable price estimate. Once we met them, it was evident they were professionals. I will call them again for any future work.

We had a frustrating day when a dryer was delivered for installment. Found out a gas valve was missing and they couldn't finish the installment. We called around and thankfully Kelly from Rapid Action Rooter was able to come out quickly and help us out. He was kind, patient, and even funny which we needed after a long day.

We had a new tankless water heater installed. Fernando was very friendly and responsive. I compared the cost with the other companies and theirs was the most reasonable. They did a good job.

After trying to get sears, home depot and one other plumbing company on yelp to replace my water heater, I called Z&H Plumbing. I got voicemail and received a call back not more than 20 min later. I explained the problems I had been through trying to get a plumber out for a water heater installation. Zorro said they could do it the next day between 3 and 5. on the day of the job they called bout 4 and said they were on the way and arrived early. They installed the new water heater in just over an hour and charged me exactly what I was quoted over the phone. If you need plumbing work don't hesitate to give these guys a call, they will do you right. I just can't say enough about them.

Mike and Julio came out at the appointed time. They seemed friendly, straightforward and honest. They presented some options and costs, did the work quickly and effortlessly and were gone in about half an hour. I was really surprised by how fair the pricing seemed to be. Wow, who knew...an honest plumber!

This is my first post, but the service that I just received from the receptionist alone was unacceptable. I've been without gas during this weather for over 24 hours due to the gas company shutting my gas off due to a gas leak that can't be located in my home at the moment. I called to request service and was told that there is no availability for the remainder of the day which is understandable. The unacceptable moment in the conversation occurred when the receptionist chuckled and said that she could send someone out next week sometime!!! I don't know when she heard the opportunity to be humorous, but our conversation came to an abrupt end because I was not in the mind frame to continue to be the punchline of her jokes. No thank you 911!!!

Our kitchen sink backed up causing the garbage disposal to not work and Carol was immediately responsive and got someone out to take care of it within a few hours. It is our second time working with American Drain Works and they have consistently delivered prompt and quality results. While I hope to not need a plumber again soon, we will definitely call Carol again if we do.
