1,000 stars! We purchased and moved into a new home snd the inspection report, the pool service company, the plumber and the Gardner all failed to locate the source of a major backyard water leak. The water company informed us the seller had a bill of $900 for December, in which they consumed 70k gallons of water in one month!

This was not disclosed prior to sale. We spent a ton of money on the aforementioned experts and then I looked for a leak detection company after the county refused to come address the issue.

The leak detection team was met with skepticism by my husband at first, then they troubleshooted every possibility. They found a valve connected to a pipe in the infinity spa which was projectile spurting out water! They recommended disconnecting the valve from the pool sensors / equipment. The pool service company didn't even pick up on it. The team was so professional, fun, and patient! They came out to our property within an hour of my cry for help. Highly recommended!

My parents let me know the bathroom pipe was broken in the evening. I created a search request and Oscar was very quick to respond. It was about 8:30pm and I asked him is there a different in price for fixing after hours and he said yes. He Recommended  to have him come the next day in the morning so that the prices wouldn't be so high.

He was very processional and kind on the phone. We booked him for a free estimate the next morning. He came promptly at the time, assessed the situation, explained to my parents what happened , and the estimate. His communication was on point.

He left to go get all the parts needed and arrived back to fix the issue. My family was so happy with the work. We definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

I reached out to Ramsey Plumbing because my sink was having plumbing issues. When they scheduled the inspection they came at the time we had agreed on! Usually maintenance services don't ever arrive on time so I was very happy to see they were timely.

I was having a leaky toilet issue so I decided instead of having it repaired I would have it replaced with a more efficient one. I did my research and purchased one to be delivered to the house instead of finding someone with a truck to help me pick it up myself. Once delivered, silly me did not open up the box to see if the toilet was broken or missing pieces. After researching and several estimates later, I decided to go with Olson's Plumbing. Made an early appt with them to replace my toilet and a bathroom faucet. They arrived and opened up the box with the toilet and found it was broken! So I had to make a decision of having Ron replace the toilet with one he recommended and could go get while his assistant replaced a one of the faucets, or I could reschedule for another time after the hassle of returning the broken toilet. I went with my first option. While Ron went for the new toilet, his assistant worked on replacing the faucet. When Ron came back, the faucet was installed, and half of the leaky toilet was already dismantled. Long story short, they replaced my toilet with one they recommended and I really like, they replaced an old bathroom sink faucet, they fixed my kitchen faucet that was very wobbly and all in 2 hours. I would recommend this family owned business all day long. Ron is prompt, professional, honest, knowledgeable in his profession, reasonable in price, friendly. His assistant worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely call Olson's Plumbing/Ron for any of my plumbing's needs. I have 2 more toilets that I will have Ron replace in the near future with his recommended toilets. I will NOT purchase any to be delivered to my house ever again...big mistake.. should have listened to my inner self!

A plumber serviced our house about a year ago and cleared our line through the roof. Unfortunately, the only thing he said he found was wax.
I wasn't completely satisfied with his quality of work, so we looked for another plumber when the issue resurfaced.

Man oh man. Where do I begin. Abi and his crew have been nothing but some of the friendliest people I have met. My wife and I initially hired them for a tub drain issue we were having. Turned out. Our entire drain system was super clogged and cracked! They were able to replace everything from the main drain line to the smaller drains under the house. Their work is outstanding, clean,professional and HONEST. They're prices were unbeatable. These guys don't just come in and TRY then leave. They get to the bottom of the issue. Lifesavers is what they are. If you want friendly and professional help, these guys are the guys to get. Definitely going to be recommending them to anyone that needs a plumber! We have quite a few plumbing problems in our old building, they show up on time, are professional and reasonably priced. Manuel has been our technician, he was great!

It's very rare to find honest contractors like Kenton and Taylor.

Our water heater was old and located in an awkward location of the house. Leo came to provide a quick no-nonsense estimate. On the day of the replacement, he was polite and completed the job within the day. His performed quality work at a reasonable price, so I would recommend him for future work.

Seriously... On Call deserves 10 stars! Our main line backed up (I won't get into the carnage that resulted)...it was Labor Day and we needed someone ASAP! Called a few companies...they either didn't answer or couldn't commit to coming the same day. I get it it was a holiday. We called On Call Plumbing and Jeremy was willing to do the job same day after working in the heat all day! AND he didn't charge a HUGE holiday fee. I am so grateful to him...He was kind and gave us guidance on what to do next.

I needed a rooter service quick and I am glad I found Ray, owner of Sonic Rooter and Plumbing here on Yelp. A professional local buisness here in Compton. Ray arrive early and diagnosed the problem. Stubborn toilet required for Ray to go up to the roof in the rain to snake the drain. He also snaked a slow drain in the kitchen sink. Overall I am very happy with the work. I will sure use him again if need plumbing work. So, if you're looking for a real good plumbing service with pro tools give Ray at Sonic Rooter and Plumbing a call.

Derek is efficient, polite, and professional. Arrived on time to replace my toilet flex line.

Upon recommendation from some friends and family, we were so glad we called Matthew instead of the usual plumbing company. Matthew was pleasant and professional. It was already mid afternoon when we called him for a copper pipe spewing water, so we were afraid we couldn't wait long. He came right away, which was by then almost his dinner time. After fixing it, we asked him about a drain in the house, and he readily agreed to take a look, and quickly fixed that as well. We didn't feel gouged like we always had in the past. Matthew has done much bigger jobs for our friends and family, also to great satisfaction, so we've found a new plumber for all of our plumbing problems!

(John, this review is long overdue and for that I apologize.)

John's name was on an inspector recommendation list my realtor provided to my boyfriend and I after our offer was accepted. After a quick Google search I felt confident this was the man for the job and didn't even call a second or third inspector to get pricing. That was probably stupid on my part considering how quickly these types of miscellaneous fees pile up, but it was not a choice I ended up regretting.

A couple of things you can expect from him:
1. Prompt communication:
John is great with all modes of communication and as someone who was swinging this purchase during business hours in between meetings and projects you have no idea how much I appreciated that.

2. Digital payment capability:
I appreciated being able to pay for the inspection at the time of my appointment booking because like I mentioned prior I was trying to pull this off during work hours. I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to make it with the realtor to open the house for him so being able to square the payment away ahead of time really put me at ease.

3. Thorough and meticulously written reports:
John's reports are written in such a way that they can easily be used as a guide (which is exactly what we're doing now). He groups his findings into three categories so it's written plain as day what is not acceptable, somewhat acceptable, and recommended to upgrade. Not only that but he also tells you the type of contractor to contact to complete the work he is pointing out is needed (which completely takes the guess work out for first time homeowners like myself).

John, thank you for being able to fit us in so quickly! We didn't end up closing in two weeks because the sellers didn't want to recognize the capital gains this tax season, but we still very much appreciate you having been able to squeeze us in as quickly as you did. I've got a best friend that will be in the market for a home in a few months and I've already let her know she has to look no further than you to get her home inspection done :)

All City Plumbing employees were prompt , communicated at ever step and provided photos and videos of work that need to be done.
Also they are very flexible and quick in their work process.

I've worked with this company in the past, and I'm sorry to say, they are off my list now. We had a major flood in our unit, as the plumber didn't turn off the valve to our unit before replacing our electric water heater. We have sustained ceiling, floor, wall and electrical problems. The report took almost 2 months to obtain, and now the company is denying that they did anything wrong.  Every plumber I've worked with always turns off the water to a unit before doing any type of plumbing work. Plus, the plumber didn't turn off all the breakers and got a bad shock before he began working on the water heater. He also inflated the charge for replacing the water heater, probably because he wanted to make a quick buck.  I've heard there's an ownership change at Riordan, so maybe they're doing things differently. I write for the Culver City Patch, and I'm furious about the way we've been treated. Our ceiling looks like Starbucks had a party, and our flooring has buckled.

Update, 8/19/2011-We went to small claims against this company, and won! I hope we don't run into any resistance in them paying the amount that we're owed...
