I do NOT recommend. I called this company to come out on an emergency because of all the great reviews. I was charged $500 to clear my main line because my bathroom and toilets were backed up due to root issues, he basically told us we needed to do this as a minimum and that he could come back the next day for an additional $875 for the hydro jet. We agreed because it sounded like we really needed to do this. While doing the hydro jet he told me his tool got stuck and we needed to pay him an additional $500 dollars and that our main sewer line which is clay was breaking and the main line to the city sewer which is a major problem. He quoted us at 15k and said he was giving us a deal because this type of job could cost up to 25k. Then he said since his tool (hose) was stuck if I agreed to do the job, he'd knock off the price of his tool. His pricing was just getting ridiculous so my husband basically told him what is it going to cost you for today and nothing further so he agreed on $795 and his tool all of a sudden wasn't stuck anymore (ha!). Glad we dodged a bullet with this company. A red flag was he kept adding more and more to his bid and after looking into his license he doesn't even have workman's comp so who knows if one of his employees got hurt on our property, it would be a huge liability for us as homeowners. We ended getting quotes from two other companies and will pay half his price and I'm sad he took us for all that money because the other companies said that was included in their price. This company needs to get their pricing right and stop taking advantage.

Update: I was nice because I thought you were being sincere in your pricing and no we are not new to owning homes. This is why we received other quotes and disheartened to see your pricing in comparison to two other companies. These are facts.

Amazing company. The homes in my mom's LA area are over 100 yrs old & many still have the old clay pipes.The toilet kept getting clogged, we called a plumber and they snake it & it was great until 6 mo-a year later, the same thing happened but this time the water wasn't going down. I looked on YELP and found My Drain Co. This Company is amazing, no wonder they have 5 stars, I would give them 10 if it was possible. Tony and Jose were awesome, truly great men. They showed me in the camera, what was causing the problem and the clay pipe had collapsed and was broken so dirt and roots were growing all over that pipe. Tony explained everything in detail as to what needed to be done and the crew worked hard to get it done in 2 days.They got the permit from the city and started on time. Everything they did was top notch. Instead of digging a trench-100 ft, they made holes strategically in 3 places and were able to put in new pipes inside the old clay pipes without disturbing anything else. This process was TRULY AMAZING. Don't waste your time calling a plumber if you are experiencing the same challenges. If you live in the LA area, most likely your clay pipe have not been replaced either.  Did you know if your plumber does not have the equipment to do the job, they subcontract the job to a company like My drain Co.? You end up paying a lot more too. If the plumber has all the tools then go for it but most likely, they do not. Most do it the old fashion way and dig holes and harder on the workers to put in a new pipe etc.. Please save your money and do it the My drain Co. way. Jose left the area better than it was. Both Tony and Jose are Awesome. Can't say enough about this company. Not only professional but honest, integrity based, great communication and great men.  We now have peace of mind knowing our mom's home is clogged free for many years to come.  Thank you to Tony, Jose and the My Drain Company crew. My mom says thank you for everything and God Bless you guys. From a very satisfied customer.

Yama has been our plumber for years. He and his crew are always extremely knowledgeable and also pleasant to have in your home. They have replaced a sewer line, trouble shot and fixed leaks and replaced faucets.
Their work is great and I recommend them highly!

It was a Sunday and Bryan was the only one who could accommodate us. So glad he was the one we had come over because he was so fast and prices were fair compared to the others we called. He also did not have an added sunday charge like some of these other guys.  Thanks Bryan!

Had a problem with one of our toilets in the house...we managed to snake it ourselves but the flush ended up being slow and low. Went on YELP to search for a plumber and found TRUE ROOTER and read all the reviews. I called next day and talked to Bernard, he told me someone will check it out later afternoon which worked perfect for me, I appreciated that they responded quickly and swiftly to my issue. Miguel had stopped by since he had been in the area to check out the toilet, which was nice...he stopped by and looked/observed and explained the options or methods they would use and gave me the pricing/estimates which were rather reasonable, more so great. As soon as 4pm came around, John arrived with his auger and got to work on our toilet and he solved the problem in no time and now our toilet is back to normal. TRUE ROOTER responded quickly, they were greatly helpful, reasonable, down to earth, just all in all a great plumbing experience. We definitely will call them for any future plumbing needs.

Daniel came to the rescue on a pipe that was about to burst ! Very knowledgeable and helpful! He got the job done - so thankful !

Really helped us out of a jam over the holiday weekend. Needed a new kitchen faucet install (I ran into trouble half way through and needed a pro with real tools). Responded right away and came over next afternoon. Excellent job. Would absolutely call again. Much gratitude!

Messaged 7 minutes before cutoff on a Saturday with my phone number & Gary called me right away with of helpful analysis to figure out how emergency the leak was. Careful and conscientious about the work and the communication. Patiently presents alternatives. Realistic estimates.  
For second project, brought me a choice of fixtures with different features to let me choose, a service I'd only gotten for a complete remodel. more work for him because he had to return one ! and both choices were great, just different features.
What a joy to find a plumber who is so experienced but still clearly jazzed(in a mellow way) to be using his skills & problem-solving.

Doug recently replaced our water heater and was truly a pleasure to work with. He was professional and informative, had fantastic reviews, and most importantly, provided me with the best price I could find in the entire valley. He was thoughtful in helping us save money while still keeping to California's codes. He never tried to overcharge us for extra items like our home warranty's company did. He even did some extra work just to be a nice guy and help us out. It's so nice to finally find an honest plumber- this man deserves your money. I contacted All City Plumbing to inspect my water heater. The customer service representative was cordial, and they sent someone the next day. Technician Lorenzo was knowledgeable and provided a detailed explanation of the issue and solutions. He went above and beyond, and I appreciate it very much. I am glad that I called them. I will definitely do business with them again.

Manage a property and tenant called on a Saturday with a kitchen leak. Called and they were able to get a plumber out within 90 minutes.  Bryan was very knowledgeable. The owner was at first a little nervous b cause she confused them with Rotor Rooter. They are NOT the same company.  We will be using them for all plumbing issues on our properties.  PS. I forgot to mention Bryan was amazing.  Give him a raise !!

Jordan is a pleasure to work with.  He is dependable and trustworthy.  We hired him to install new fixtures in our kitchen and bathroom and he did a great job.  He helped select the proper fixtures and gave us advice on where to purchase them for a good price.  He installed everything when the parts arrived and was very easy to work with.  His prices were very fair and he really helped make this an easy process.  Highly recommend!

We had an unfortunate leak under our slab on the weekend and I placed a call to Rapid Quality Leak Detection. Josh immediately returned my call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Although he was running late, he communicated to me his status and arrived promptly at the revised time. He was thorough in his assessment, provided pictures of the issue and spoke with our plumber to explicitly explain the situation.

The estimate we got from Eco Plumbing for two pipe leaks in our Century City condominium building was less than half from our usual plumber's estimate and they were able to the make the repairs in quick fashion. Very knowledgeable and we will be switching to them for our building's plumbing in the future

I learned pricing for jobs is arbitrary. Always negotiate on quoted price and even still they may rip you off. The plumber had to be encouraged to replace corroded gas pipe. He planned to return days later to do work for $750. I called gas company same day   Gas co turned off gas immediately due to safety concerns and the plumbing company planned to fix it 5 days later. I found an established contractor to come out. They fixed pipe immediately for $200.  I've had Stephens do work in past- I realized now I was probably ripped off in cost- the technician comes up with an arbitrary number.  What I suggest- get a second opinion and negotiate price by the hundreds of dollars.
