Well, our small job in May re-grouting marble slabs in a second floor shower to stop water damage on a ceiling below became a much larger job as the leaks continued thanks to deterioration of the shower pan and sub-floor.  It required a total re-do of the shower, removing large marble slabs and replacing with marble tiles along with a new sub-floor and pan.  Mark and his team were fantastic in uncovering the problem, doing the demo, and creating a beautiful, like-new shower.  Not an inexpensive project, but necessary and Mark's pricing was very fair.  In 40 years, we've done 5 (yes, 5!) extensive remodels/additions to our home and I can't think of a more professional contractor than Mark and work done any better.  I would use Mark for any tile work large or small.

Good on the responsiveness - good on fixing the problem (loose handle and low flush capacity). 2 stars docked for $140 to fix a flush valve on my toilet that Gateway had previously recommended I call the manufacturer to replace. So I did call, I had them installed (by another plumber) and there was something not working right, so I called Gateway. 20 min later $140 with the recommendation to replace them AGAIN. Seriously?! I know plumbers are expensive but this is downright highway robbery. $80 would have still felt expensive but more legit for the services performed ... Tightening ip a few screws. I wouldn't have had the flush mechanisms replaced in the first place if they hadn't recommended I do it bc there wasn't anything wrong with them, but the plumber said there was a free manufacturer replacement die to a recall. It vay what a racket. All in all what a waste of time and money.

Arthur was a great plumber to work with.  He returned calls and was on time.  He didn't complain or make excuses.  He did what he said and did so in a competent manner.   You can tell he really knows his stuff.  I'm in real estate and I will recommend this plumbing team for my West LA properties.   I'm a happy customer.

I called after reading the great reviews on Yelp, and their website looked good too. I called the number on the website and a guy answered with an abrupt 'hello' and I had to ask if it was Affordable Plumbing. He seemed busy and like he couldn't be bothered. I almost wanted to ask him if he was not interested in new business. it was a weird vibe. I told him I was going to call around for quotes. They may be the best plumbers in the world, but didn't seem at all professional in my experience. So I called Pete the Plumber and they were extremely nice and are coming in a few hours.

Really happy to have been able to work with Edwin. He was super responsive with great overall communication. Quoted me the best price to flush my tankless water heater and did the job perfectly.

I called a few plumbers to get an estimate for moving a tub drain and relocating a toilet in our master bath.  He was one of four plumbers to come out and give an estimate.

Willy's Plumbing came out and gave a detailed estimate of what would be involved with the work and how much effort it would be to do the project. He came to do the work within a few days and spent all day moving the toilet and tub drain.

He was very professional and took proper precautions to make sure the work area was clean and tidied up before he left. The work came out great. I called him a few days later to help with another issue in the second bathroom. He came out on a Saturday and helped diagnose the problem. He came out within a few hours of being asked for his availability which was fantastic. I definitely would call Willy again if we have any other projects for Plumbing in the future.

Most expensive quote I got from all the yelp bids. Perhaps if you don't mind paying 3x the price, this company might be worth it. I should not say anything else since I did not go with them.

I had a bathtub clog that I couldn't get out, no matter how hard I tried. Hard stop, and seemed to be pretty deep in the pipes. Needed it out ASAP, two days before Christmas - reached out via Yelp, had an appointment booked for two hours later, they came as soon as they were able, and had the job done in 30 minutes. Fast, professional, friendly. I'd definitely use again.

Good honest service from these guys for my plumbing issues. We have bad water quality here and needed a filtration system. Connor broke down all our options and pros and cons of each one. He was very patient and friendly and helped us be sure of the system we were installing since they can be pretty pricey. They get all the parts quickly so he came back the next day and did the install. He did a great job with it, the unit fits snug and all the pipes are cleanly arranged. I would call him back for future jobs!

Called this plumber at around 9 PM. They were friendly and able to make it out to my house within 40 minutes. My drains were all backing up and they were able to clear everything out in under an hour. They really came through for me!

Dan, Dennis, and team are great! We needed to have both of our bathrooms torn up in order to replace a main pipe under our home. The team was fantastic. Even though the project was messy, they cleaned up every day before the left and prepped every morning to try and keep the rest of my house clean. They finished the project on time and were so friendly and kind. I know NOTHING about plumbing and they would explain things to me in a way that made sense. Highly recommended them!

I called Santa Monica plumbing at 7:45am and someone was at my house within 30 minutes. They fixed the shower drain, washer and toilet all within an hour. They were also incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire time. I appreciate you guys - thank you for giving me the ability to shower before work!

These guys were great.  I had a very nasty clog shower drain and a kitchen sink that seemed to vomit.  When I called, they said someone would show between 2-4. They came very promptly at 2:30 and I didn't have to wait around.

Not only were they in and out under an hour, they took care of the problem and cleaned up the mess that the clogged drains created..which I didn't expect them to!  The last time I had my drain snaked cost me $350...Drains Unlimited charged right at $100.  I couldn't have been happier and will continue to use them in the future should I have more plumbing problems.

I had what I thought were 2 broken instant water heaters in my office kitchen and bathroom. I called Liberty because they had good reviews and they were close. Ari immediately answered my call and we set up a time for him to come check them out. He arrived on time with Asher. They were extremely friendly and professional. They explained that the units that were originally installed were really just for simple hand washing which made sense. Because of the tight space of where they were located they said the only other option was a different type of unit but didn't recommend it because it might flood and there isn't a drain in the floor where both sinks are. I've never had a plumber that explained everything in such detail which was amazing. They were able to adjust a few things and everything worked after that. When the bill arrived it was also much lower than what I was anticipating and it saved my company money. Friendly, Professional, Affordable? Look no further than Liberty Plumbing & Heating! We had Ruben out to replace all of water lines into the small house we just bought.  He was very helpful in explaining all the options we had and the pros and cons of each.  I wasn't surprised when he went under our house and said a lot of our plumbing was old and some Mickey Mouse piping was scattered throughout as I had been down there a few months earlier and noticed it myself.  He gave us a very reasonable quote and stuck to it.   He even added an extra spigot outside next to our garage and a nice water shutoff outlet behind our fridge at no extra charge. We just had him out again to replace all outgoing pipes as well.  I'm very confident that the job was done correctly and Ruben will stand behind his work.

The thing with Ruben is he wants to do a job at a great price and then stand behind his work and his guarantee.  So if you want to get the job done right by someone you can trust, look no further.  He treats each house/building as if he were doing the job for his family.

Finding a trustworthy plumbing / pipe expert is not an easy task.  I am relieved I have done it!
