David, Thomas and Peter came to my house today to find a leak that was seeping into my garage.  It took a lot of digging through roots and rocks to find a sprinkler line that was causing the leak.  While I had their attention I asked if they could clear out a drain line between my spa and pool that was clogged with leaves and debris.  They were more than happy to work on the blockage even though it ended up being roots or some solid object that couldn't be dislodged.  
The crew was extremely friendly, professional, courteous and diligent.  I couldn't be happier with the service they provided.  Do not hesitate to use City Plumbing and Rooter.  You won't regret making the call.  Before today, I would say that I didn't have a go-to plumber, but that has changed.  City Plumbing will be my first call.  Thanks Dave, Thomas and Peter.  You made my day.

Armando was the best. I had an emergency water leak on my main valve. I emailed late at night and he was there first thing the next morning. The work was fast and efficient and they were very accommodating and explanatory.

Update: more lies and scamming. I called Monday to request a refund since the tub was never looked at and was told there were notes left regarding my complaint and a refund would be issued. I was on my way over here to update my review to resolved when a nagging told me to wait until the money was posted. Sure enough, no refund come Tuesday, when I was told it would process. I call back and the manager tells me that Angela is the owner and is not going to issue a refund. Apparently they just say whatever they want and then change their minds.

Another update: they also refuse to issue an invoice/receipt (apparently they don't give receipts until 2 weeks later when their plumbers are paid? I call bs)

Working with BH Plumbing was an absolute pleasure. Shachar was on time, he was very pleasant, he fixed my dishwasher quickly, and the price was totally reasonable. I've already given his number to my parents so they can reach out with their plumbing needs!

Cali Rooter & Plumbing has the best, most honest guys around. They didn't overcharge me, they got the job done quickly, and they were very transparent with all the steps they were going through. I had a funky smell from a possible leaky vent. I got quotes from several other plumbers (who wanted to rip apart my bathroom from the get go and charge me extra for construction+). So I decided to go with Cali Rooter. The solution ended up being a lot simpler (wax ring around the toilet base was broken) and it didn't require opening my walls. They're the only plumbers who figured out how to access my vents/piping without opening the walls to diagnose the problem- which saved everyone time and money. I'd recommend them to everyone since finding good service in LA is so DIFFICULT.

Customers are at a plumber's mercy usually because of the nature of the emergency. If you're not familiar with plumbing, you can easily be taken advantage of (like in most service industries).

We hired David once and were happy with his work, but we decided to bring him back for a second time because we trusted him. He ended up doing a lot more work than we originally hired him for, but it wasn't because he tried to upsell us.

In an industry where integrity isn't always maintained  David is a step above. Not only did he explain and price everything before he did the job, but he's also very fast. His 20+ years of experience doesn't hurt either, yet he hasn't become stubborn or egotistical about it. Return business is established when trust is earned. We hope not to bring him back too much (because that would mean our place is falling apart), but now that we've experienced his work we won't bother to contact anyone else. David is our plumber and we're happy to recommend him to our friends!

Ford's plumbing is the real deal. We had our gas shut off due to a gas leak over New Year's Eve, and Ford's saved us. They were out super promptly, gave us an estimate, fixed the leak and within 5 days our gas was back on. We were very pleased with the efficiency, quality of work and sincerity of this business. They aren't the cheapest guys in town, but they are the best! And, we all know, sometimes you get what you pay for. I'm convinced we went with the right guys to fix our gas problem, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future for any other plumbing needs we might have.

If you have ever done work on your home, you know, messing with the gas is serious business. You need to hire someone who knows what they are doing. Ford's did a stellar job and we highly recommend them.

Had Them come check out my water heater as it was making noises and Alexis was great. He explained all the possible reasons and what my options were and was very thorough and appreciated all the information he provided me. Will definitely reach out to them if I have any other issues going forward.

I'm a real estate agent and my clients were recently in the process of buying a single family house. The general inspector called out some plumbing items and recommended a plumber come take a look. Paxton and his assistant were available and showed up EARLY. They were efficient and friendly, and had helped another client of mine previously. Great job!

You've all been there. The drain is clogged and of course it's Super Bowl Sunday. To the rescue comes Ruben, who happens to be in the neighborhood and stops by within 20 minutes of first contact and fixes the drain in 5 minutes flat. And he's a mensch about it and doesn't charge the outrageous Sunday rate. Ruben, you're a class act. Cheers!

Mainline Plumbing did a great job replacing my (only) 3 year old water heater.  They went out of their way to find a heater that satisfied the warranty, and even took the old one back at 9 pm to get my refund.  And, I got the full refund, not just a partial on the warranty.  When a leak occured the next day, they came right over and fixed it pronto.  We're very satisfied with their work and service, and will use them again in the future.

Great service and the prices are very reasonable. Tony was very reliable and arrived right on time.

D&D's is more than GREAT.  This is a local family owned business in NELA that is AWESOME.  
I generally start my Yelp search for services looking for local small/family owned businesses with 5-star ratings and recent reviews.  Due to the COVID pandemic and now being on a fixed income, I had delayed various maintenance issues and have been tackling them as best that I could given finances and stress.  This past week, the bathroom sink pull-up assembly, i.e., stopper got stuck and water could not be drained out.  The kitchen sink Delta faucet mounting was loose and wobbly, so I ordered the mounting bracket.  However, the bigger delayed service needed was the extremely slow draining of the shower and basically no draining of the bathtub (which meant no baths.
I AM SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND D&D'S ON YELP.  
I had initially requested a quote from a highly reviewed NELA plumbing business and they did not even bother to reply.  I then contacted the next one that was also in NELA.  The only good things that I can say about this business is that they were prompt in getting back to me, scheduling me for a free estimate the next morning, and sending me a written estimate.  I had prepared myself for an expenditure of a few hundred dollars.  I also thought that the slow drainage would be due to a clog and only require snaking.  I did not anticipate quotes of $175 for the kitchen faucet, being told that my entire pull-up assembly in the bathroom sink had to be replaced and that would be $250.  However, the big one that floored, stressed, and made me highly skeptical was the exorbitantly high quote of $6800 and that I had to totally replace the galvanized sewer line. No options/phasing were presented.  I asked if for now could they at least snake the drain.  Told that would not help. I had to ask them to at least un-stick the pull-up assembly so that I could use my bathroom sink.  They did and charged me $100.  When I asked if they took credit cards, I was told there would be an additional 3% charge.
I IMMEDIATELY WENT BACK TO DO A YELP SEARCH FOR A SECOND OPINION AND FOUND D&D'S REASONABLE PLUMBING  
Deanne called me back within minutes.  She was able to reach Dave and they scheduled me for early the next morning.  Dave arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m.  He inquired as to all of my issues.  He immediately checked my kitchen faucet and proceeded to go under the sink to inspect the problem.  He found that the mounting bracket part that I had ordered and thought was missing was actually still there and required to be tightened, which he did and WOW - my kitchen faucet is totally fixed and no longer wobbling.
Dave then went to my bathroom and checked the bathroom pull-up assembly and discovered that the lever was still not connected.  Dave fixed that too.  Dave then moved onto the shower drainage.  He ran the snake first and cleared out some of that accumulated yecchy hair.  Dave then went under my house to inspect my sewer lines.  He took videos and informed me that the shower drain was not connected to the sewer line and was draining directly to the dirt under my house.  Dave thoroughly explained to me the condition of my sewer line and the existence of this health hazard.  He gave me a very reasonable quote, which included replacing roughly 40' of galvanized sewer pipe or the option for me to split it into 2 phases.  Fix the immediate shower drain and galvanized-PVC connection issue or do it all now.
Dave's quote was less than half of the prior exorbitant estimate.  Dave listened to my concerns and was understanding that this was a major expense for me.  He told me that it would be a 1 to 2-day job and the sewer line replacement would  have a lifetime warranty.  He also told me that I would not have water for about 2 hours.  It was a no-brainer for me to select D&D's and give the go-ahead.
Dave then left to send me a written description of the work to be performed with the lifetime warranty.  He and his assistant returned within the hour and started work under my house.  Dave completed the sewer line replacement the same day.  He had me run the water from all the fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen so he could check for leaks.  The shower was draining, but the bathtub was not draining.  So they snaked it and when that didn't work they went back under the house and found that the tub was also not connected.  D&D's fixed that and had to purchase a special part.  
Dave even fixed the crawlspace cover, cleaned up and removed all the galvanized pipes before he left.  He did not charge me for the kitchen faucet and the bathroom sink.
Dave and Deanne, otherwise known as D&D's Reasonable Plumbing, are now my go-to for all future plumbing issues, and I have already passed their contact information to friends with my strong recommendation.  They are honest, thorough, efficient, and considerate of the customer.  I now have peace of mind and all of my plumbing is working smoothly.  Thanks Dave and Deanne.

We bought a house in January and the GC installed a low flow sink faucet for our beautiful standalone bathtub in the master bathroom instead of bathtub faucet. After 11 months of it taking 15 mins just to fill it up 6 inches for our toddler's nightly baths, we decided to call Rodrigo, who was referred to us by a friend. Rodrigo is kind, communicative, and thorough. He helped us select a new tub faucet and spent half a day going through our kitchen cabinet wall to replace it from the back. He did such an amazing job that you would never know the faucet had been replaced! I took my first bath in our house the next day and couldn't be happier. Who knew having a properly filling bathtub would be such a game changer? Thank you Rodrigo! We'll be calling him for all our plumbing needs moving forward.
