Best Landscapings in Phoenix, AZ

We attempted to use Gonzalez Landscaping for basic yard maintenance (trim branches, kill weeds, blow shit, you know...the usual), but Lucio has been impossible to work with. To me, he ranks higher than Farmer Juan but lower than not hiring a landscaper at all. Here are some tips to help him with potential future customers and to give customers insight on what they'll be dealing with when using this guy.

1. Write down appointments. This will allow Lucio to know things like the fact that he has made an appointment, the location of that appointment, and when that appointment takes place. This is essential to running a business and making money. He could accomplish this by using a pen and paper or even by adding a reminder on his phone.

2. Have landscaping equipment. I probably could have listed this one first, but there are times where Lucio didn't have his landscaping equipment. That makes it difficult to trim branches, kill weeds, and blow shit.

3. Respond to customers. When a customer calls you or sends you a text message, it is important to communicate with them. This allows you to setup appointments, keep customers notified of any updates or changes, and also retain existing customers to find out if they have any landscaping needs.

If you can find anyone in Maricopa that meets any one of these criteria, please let me know.

In his comment below, he makes it sound like this was a one-time thing. This has been ongoing for weeks and months. He has a new excuse every time. Congrats to all the happy customers who have such low expectations.

Was supposed to come last week, but didn't.

Was supposed to come this week but he texted on Friday saying they couldn't make it. They offered to come between 6 and 7 am today (Saturday), and I agreed. They did not show up. I waited for over an hour past the appointment time, then I texted to ask if they were still coming. No response for over an hour now. I'm assuming they are not coming.

If you need something done, you cannot rely on these guys to show up when they say they will.

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

Listen, they're great! the crew are hard workers, neat & clean, they enjoy worker with each other, I told & showed him what I wanted then, he designed my front yard..., I knew what plants he was placing where an he accompanied what he said.I felt good working with the best landscaper designers New Creations Landscape!
P.S. I could always reach Manny by phone an or text messages..never left him a message... there when you needed him.

We contacted Juan at Happy Grounds about a sprinkler leak in our backyard, and he came out quickly to check out the issue. He identified the problem and gave us two options to stop the leak. Even though we chose the simple, cheap fix, Juan was polite and professional. Happy Grounds did a great job, and we will look to use them again in the future.

A basic one star for just not calling back. I called and got the female receptionist/office worker and she took down a bunch of information including my phone number and what we needed and never got back to us. Normally I wouldn't care I would call again but we actually had an emergency situation with the leaking drip system and we needed somebody to come out. No courtesy call no nothing in my left a second message it went on returned as well. I have no idea what their quality of services but based on the phone response I would say it's probably not a great idea to do business with someone who won't call a perspective customer back.

Did what they promised, quickly and at a good price.  I had a cactus removed.

I sent Mesa Landscaping a message today and got a response back immediately. I called them and they came out same day. My wife and I needed the front of our house de-weeded and chemically sprayed. The HOA had gotten on us about the immense amount of weeds that had grown in front of our house this winter. Thankfully Mesa Landscaping came out same day and helped us out. There prices are great and they did an awesome job! Thanks again.

Great Landscaping service! Jose is knowledgeable and pricing is fair. He doesn't try to bamboozle you and upsell/overcharge. Just fair and honest prices and excellent service. You can't go wrong with Urban Landscape Solutions!

Rick was great!  Quick to respond and got us a very competitive quote even though we did not have all the information he asked for.  He figured it out and gave us a couple options that helped us pinpoint what we needed to do.  Now that is the sort of professional I want on my side.  Thanks Rick!

Cory was honest and straight forward through the entire process. I would say plan ahead though because they are a small crew. Took a long time before they could start the project. Once they started, everything moved very quickly. We did pavers, grill, fire pit, alumawood pergola, and turf.

I have nothing but sincerely positive things to say about Borders & Beyond. They made us love our yard again (yay!). They installed artificial turf with paver border, several shrubs, trees, and gravel for us. Erik is the best landscaper that we've worked with - super nice, knowledgeable, responsive, respectful, and made very helpful recommendations - just really great to work with and he has excellent suggestions, creative ideas. His crew was amazing as well - excellent work, on time, efficient, experienced, and tireless workers.  We've worked with several other landscapers over the years and this was truly a great experience from all aspects of initial contact (through their website), quote, and installation/completion. Shrub it off did amazing irrigation work in my front and backyards.  They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.  They went over and above to get the irrigation installed correctly.   I would highly recommend.

Valley Vista Landscaping redesigned our backyard this last month. They came to the house talked to us about our ideas and gave their professional input on what would work and what might need to be tweaked. They gave us an estimate in a timely manner along with suggestions to keep the cost down by using different materials where possible. They set a day the work would start and gave us an idea when they thought the work should be finished. Valley Vista Landscaping was honest, prompt, friendly, cleaned up after them selves and professional. We will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

I was scammed by him and his Mexican partner Anthony Diaz. Took my deposit $3,500. And never returned.. they've blocked me. I'm elderly and saved for years to get my backyard / sideyard landscaped only for these heartless excuse for human beings to take advantage of me.
There are many scammed in Phoenix. mesa. Maricopa by them.. many police reports and small claims filings. The DO NOT TRUST THEIR SAD SCAMMER STORIES TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE PRICES BECAUSE THEY'RE SCAMMETS

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
