Best Landscapings in Phoenix, AZ

Trimmed up my trees in the backyard and they look amazing! Will definitely be using this company for future landscaping services.  
Good prices and very polite.

I asked yelp for help getting a quote.  This company responded.  They were always very responsive to messages.  
They ended up not coming because a truck needed repairs.  However the fact that they messaged me and let me know... was a big plus in my book.  
So this review is of their business practices... and not of their actual work.  
Responsive, and cares about customers time.

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

The short version is that I cannot recommend them.  The longer version is pretty long, but I'll try to control it.

Initially their service was thorough.  Yes, they missed some things, but they would get them the next visit.  But that's as good as it got.  There were at least two crew shake-ups in the ~8 months we used them, and each time the service declined.  Their original crew was definitely the best, but that only lasted about 2 months.

What they did, they did well.  Trimming and shaping bushes, edging ground cover (usually), cutting low-hanging branches.  Though sometimes you had to TELL them to do it.  They didn't seem to recognize what needed to be done, even after walking the property and building into the contract the agreed upon requirements. If you didn't instruct them ahead of time it may or may not be accomplished.  And even if you did tell them (e.g. please get that weed/plant in the rose bush) it wasn't a guarantee they would actually do it.  I tried sending them photos, I tried making lists (which was the most successful approach, but ironically they asked me to stop with the lists).  But even they acknowledged that several things I was complaining about should have been automatic; I shouldn't have had to say anything, it just should have been done.  The management/supervisors agreed with me!  But often it wasn't automatic.

About the only thing that was consistent was they used to blowers to clean debris from the yard.  Sometimes it seemed that was all they did.

They didn't remove dead plants that were obviously dead even after I pointed them out.  They missed obvious weeds.  On more than one occasion they cut a dripper which I then had to fix when I discovered I had a fountain instead of a drip head (they would have fixed it if I waited long enough, but I wasn't willing to have my system off for several days until someone could drop by). They would stop edging the ground cover part-way through (i.e. you could see where they stopped).  Management agreed with me that was unacceptable.

As I said before, they handled specific repairs very well.  They weren't cheap, but the pricing was reasonable.  They even reduced the pricing once because the job wasn't as hard as I expected.  So bonus points for that.

I think if you have a conventional lawn, and some trees and shrubs, you'll probably be fine.  If you have anything out of the ordinary they don't seem to know what to do, or at least the crews that do the actual work don't.  I was paying a lot of money for incomplete work.

They got tired of my complaints about the time I got tired of complaining.  They fired me first, but I was about to do the same to them.  I was going to grant one last chance, mostly because I didn't want to have to find someone else.  Interviewing landscapers is a pain.  Just in time for the ground cover to need to be cut back...

fast service, very good job did more than contracted will be coming monthly or so for sure. very reasonable price for the quality work they did was outstanding will be my landscaper for as long as he is doing landscaping.

A basic one star for just not calling back. I called and got the female receptionist/office worker and she took down a bunch of information including my phone number and what we needed and never got back to us. Normally I wouldn't care I would call again but we actually had an emergency situation with the leaking drip system and we needed somebody to come out. No courtesy call no nothing in my left a second message it went on returned as well. I have no idea what their quality of services but based on the phone response I would say it's probably not a great idea to do business with someone who won't call a perspective customer back.

I would NOT recommend this company and will never use them again.  Their scheduling department is horrible, they cannot even get the appointments correct for their customers who are on a bi-weekly or monthly service with them!  I had to call and remind them two different times that they did not show up on the day they were supposed to and I still paid for one of those services after they came on a different day.  Then, yes it gets worse, I was verbally quoted one price for bi-weekly services, then received a bill for nearly double that and they argue with me that they misspoke but it was in the written notes they provided to their billing department but NOT ME the customer?!  I would rather pick up a person holding a sign that says will work for food/money and they'd do a better job.  Even the landscaping crew - only spends an hour max at your house regardless of the size and they don't do what you ask them to do or they only do half the work.

I sent Mesa Landscaping a message today and got a response back immediately. I called them and they came out same day. My wife and I needed the front of our house de-weeded and chemically sprayed. The HOA had gotten on us about the immense amount of weeds that had grown in front of our house this winter. Thankfully Mesa Landscaping came out same day and helped us out. There prices are great and they did an awesome job! Thanks again.

Excellent!!! That's all I can say about the customer service that Jose provided, he answered my call and was repairing my irrigation system in less than 24 hour at a reasonable price!!! I would highly recommend him without any doubt!!

For the last five years, we had a person doing monthly service. We leave in the summer so I did not want to fire that person but had to find someone else. Being 1500 miles away, I thought it would be an overwhelming task to find a new person. I contacted Rick through Yelp and he called me a few minutes later. We came up with agreeable pricing and he was hired. Today he provided service at our home and I am beyond pleased. He sent numerous pictures, easy to pay him. I am looking forward to a long term relationship with Rick. He made the entire process so easy. Again, I am very grateful and highly recommend him.

Worked with Cory on my backyard and he help streamline the whole process. From the time of the estimate till the completion of the whole project was less than 2 weeks. Pricing was fair and the work was top-notch. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Erik is amazing! He is very helpful, friendly and worked on our project like he was working on his own - precise, thoughtful, creative. His diligent team were so friendly and took great care with everything they did. Erik truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We highly, highly recommend him! Thanks to Erik we now have beautiful grass and curbing.

Absolutely love these guys! They were really responsive and got my credenza to me in perfect condition. Would definitely use again for future furniture pickups

Shrub it off did amazing irrigation work in my front and backyards.  They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.  They went over and above to get the irrigation installed correctly.   I would highly recommend.

Valley Vista Landscaping redesigned our backyard this last month. They came to the house talked to us about our ideas and gave their professional input on what would work and what might need to be tweaked. They gave us an estimate in a timely manner along with suggestions to keep the cost down by using different materials where possible. They set a day the work would start and gave us an idea when they thought the work should be finished. Valley Vista Landscaping was honest, prompt, friendly, cleaned up after them selves and professional. We will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

I was scammed by him and his Mexican partner Anthony Diaz. Took my deposit $3,500. And never returned.. they've blocked me. I'm elderly and saved for years to get my backyard / sideyard landscaped only for these heartless excuse for human beings to take advantage of me.
There are many scammed in Phoenix. mesa. Maricopa by them.. many police reports and small claims filings. The DO NOT TRUST THEIR SAD SCAMMER STORIES TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE PRICES BECAUSE THEY'RE SCAMMETS

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
