Best Landscapings in Phoenix, AZ

We have been working with Lucio for several years now and he has been great! He takes care of several of my properties. He is friendly and comes around the same day each month to complete all the yards. He lets me know when he will be coming and texts me when there are any issues.  Reasonable pricing too.

Was supposed to come last week, but didn't.

Was supposed to come this week but he texted on Friday saying they couldn't make it. They offered to come between 6 and 7 am today (Saturday), and I agreed. They did not show up. I waited for over an hour past the appointment time, then I texted to ask if they were still coming. No response for over an hour now. I'm assuming they are not coming.

If you need something done, you cannot rely on these guys to show up when they say they will.

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

The short version is that I cannot recommend them.  The longer version is pretty long, but I'll try to control it.

Initially their service was thorough.  Yes, they missed some things, but they would get them the next visit.  But that's as good as it got.  There were at least two crew shake-ups in the ~8 months we used them, and each time the service declined.  Their original crew was definitely the best, but that only lasted about 2 months.

What they did, they did well.  Trimming and shaping bushes, edging ground cover (usually), cutting low-hanging branches.  Though sometimes you had to TELL them to do it.  They didn't seem to recognize what needed to be done, even after walking the property and building into the contract the agreed upon requirements. If you didn't instruct them ahead of time it may or may not be accomplished.  And even if you did tell them (e.g. please get that weed/plant in the rose bush) it wasn't a guarantee they would actually do it.  I tried sending them photos, I tried making lists (which was the most successful approach, but ironically they asked me to stop with the lists).  But even they acknowledged that several things I was complaining about should have been automatic; I shouldn't have had to say anything, it just should have been done.  The management/supervisors agreed with me!  But often it wasn't automatic.

About the only thing that was consistent was they used to blowers to clean debris from the yard.  Sometimes it seemed that was all they did.

They didn't remove dead plants that were obviously dead even after I pointed them out.  They missed obvious weeds.  On more than one occasion they cut a dripper which I then had to fix when I discovered I had a fountain instead of a drip head (they would have fixed it if I waited long enough, but I wasn't willing to have my system off for several days until someone could drop by). They would stop edging the ground cover part-way through (i.e. you could see where they stopped).  Management agreed with me that was unacceptable.

As I said before, they handled specific repairs very well.  They weren't cheap, but the pricing was reasonable.  They even reduced the pricing once because the job wasn't as hard as I expected.  So bonus points for that.

I think if you have a conventional lawn, and some trees and shrubs, you'll probably be fine.  If you have anything out of the ordinary they don't seem to know what to do, or at least the crews that do the actual work don't.  I was paying a lot of money for incomplete work.

They got tired of my complaints about the time I got tired of complaining.  They fired me first, but I was about to do the same to them.  I was going to grant one last chance, mostly because I didn't want to have to find someone else.  Interviewing landscapers is a pain.  Just in time for the ground cover to need to be cut back...

Juan and his team did a great job removing a very large tree in front of my home.  I also had Juan do a full yard cleanup at my previous home and could not be happier.  I highly recommend Happy Grounds Landscaping.

James is a true professional. They did a great job on my front yard.  Tons of compliments from neighbors. Good listener, provides simple informative advice to keep maintenance easy.

I search Yelp for most of my services that I get done. I needed to get a river rock bed put into my front yard, and I was looking for someone to do it. I was quoted an absurd amount by another company, and I came across KO's Landscaping  on Yelp, as it was the only one listed as open early Saturday morning.

If you have landscaping needs, do not look any further. I could not be more impressed with Eduardo and his team at KO's. He came out to my house within two hours to give me an estimate, he told me exactly what I needed to be done, came on-time the day of the install and it looks fantastic. The clean-up job was also great. They did the whole job in the amount of time it took my wife to shop at Costco.

You will not be disappointed in choosing KO's. 5 stars for professionalism, communication, and most importantly for the actual job itself!

Meza landscaping did an amazing job on our backyard. They were very patient with us getting our materials in. Would recommend them.

C & A Landscaping recently did some work on our rental property in Goodyear! They did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier!! Jose was really kind and helpful and was really great about answering my many questions and he and his guy were quick and thourough! Everything looks beautiful and we will definitely recommend them and use them regularly! Jose was also really prompt in returning my request for a estimate!

For the last five years, we had a person doing monthly service. We leave in the summer so I did not want to fire that person but had to find someone else. Being 1500 miles away, I thought it would be an overwhelming task to find a new person. I contacted Rick through Yelp and he called me a few minutes later. We came up with agreeable pricing and he was hired. Today he provided service at our home and I am beyond pleased. He sent numerous pictures, easy to pay him. I am looking forward to a long term relationship with Rick. He made the entire process so easy. Again, I am very grateful and highly recommend him.

Cory's crew did an excellent job on building our new BBQ island.  Very hard workers.  Highly recommend them.

Erik and his team did an amazing job landscaping our front and back yard. They completed the job quickly and were so easy to work with! The completed project looks even better than I imagined. It's absolutely gorgeous! I am so thankful we decided to go with Borders and Beyond! They truly listened to exactly what I wanted and made our home look stunning! I can't thank them enough for their professionalism, cleanliness, and hard work! If you are considering this company for your landscaping needs you won't be disappointed with the end results. We are beyond ecstatic! Thank you again!!!!

I asked for help with our yard through Yelp & Desert Cleanup Services was the first company to reach back out to me. I spoke with Marcus & he helped me through all of my questions & concerns. Within the week they were at my house & did AMAZING work. They went above & beyond to say the least. We had a pile of branches sitting on the side of the house & Marcus & his team took the branches with them on their way out even though it wasn't included in my estimate. Will definitely be going through them for any & all future service(s) needed!

He was quick at responding, quick at getting us into his schedule, polite and did a great job!!

Shrub it off did amazing irrigation work in my front and backyards.  They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.  They went over and above to get the irrigation installed correctly.   I would highly recommend.

Valley Vista Landscaping redesigned our backyard this last month. They came to the house talked to us about our ideas and gave their professional input on what would work and what might need to be tweaked. They gave us an estimate in a timely manner along with suggestions to keep the cost down by using different materials where possible. They set a day the work would start and gave us an idea when they thought the work should be finished. Valley Vista Landscaping was honest, prompt, friendly, cleaned up after them selves and professional. We will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

BE CAUTIOUS!!!! I paid deposit by Venmo $2,000 which was to complete HOA paperwork. This wasn't completed correctly so I ended up measuring and submitting my own forms. Then was asked to pay $5,000 but I was starting to get nervous (& suspicious) but still agreed to send another $3,000 through Venmo to start project.
Now I've paid $5,000 -
SO for $5,000 I basically got some gravel raked and moved around my backyard. See attached pictures-
I am hopeful this post will help someone save their hard earned money from this dishonest company. I suspect we won't see or hear from Anthony or anyone else at TreetopLandscaping. We really wanted to trust & help out small company by giving them business. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
