Best Landscapings in Phoenix, AZ

We attempted to use Gonzalez Landscaping for basic yard maintenance (trim branches, kill weeds, blow shit, you know...the usual), but Lucio has been impossible to work with. To me, he ranks higher than Farmer Juan but lower than not hiring a landscaper at all. Here are some tips to help him with potential future customers and to give customers insight on what they'll be dealing with when using this guy.

1. Write down appointments. This will allow Lucio to know things like the fact that he has made an appointment, the location of that appointment, and when that appointment takes place. This is essential to running a business and making money. He could accomplish this by using a pen and paper or even by adding a reminder on his phone.

2. Have landscaping equipment. I probably could have listed this one first, but there are times where Lucio didn't have his landscaping equipment. That makes it difficult to trim branches, kill weeds, and blow shit.

3. Respond to customers. When a customer calls you or sends you a text message, it is important to communicate with them. This allows you to setup appointments, keep customers notified of any updates or changes, and also retain existing customers to find out if they have any landscaping needs.

If you can find anyone in Maricopa that meets any one of these criteria, please let me know.

In his comment below, he makes it sound like this was a one-time thing. This has been ongoing for weeks and months. He has a new excuse every time. Congrats to all the happy customers who have such low expectations.

Was supposed to come last week, but didn't.

Was supposed to come this week but he texted on Friday saying they couldn't make it. They offered to come between 6 and 7 am today (Saturday), and I agreed. They did not show up. I waited for over an hour past the appointment time, then I texted to ask if they were still coming. No response for over an hour now. I'm assuming they are not coming.

If you need something done, you cannot rely on these guys to show up when they say they will.

Wish there were more stars.  Urban Oasis was the most responsive landscaper I called for a quote and am so glad I did.  Austin was always attentive to our needs.  I cannot say enough good things about this company.  They kept us in the loop the entire time and continually followed up and addressed our needs and/or concerns.  What great customer service and professionalism.  I'm so glad we found them.  Thanks Austin.

Juan and his team did a great job removing a very large tree in front of my home.  I also had Juan do a full yard cleanup at my previous home and could not be happier.  I highly recommend Happy Grounds Landscaping.

I am beyond pleased with the work James and his crew did. My backyard was a mish-mash of ground covers and boarders and I was looking to replace it all with pavers that complimented the existing plants. James really listed to what I was ultimately trying to get to as well he offered additional ideas that really tied it all together. His crew is amazing - hardworking and fast.  I give my highest recommendation to SonoranScapes for anyone looking for a landscaper.

Super happy with KOs service.  My backyard was so bad.  Weeds everywhere and debris.  Eduardo came over and gave me a very reasonable quote for the work.  He listened carefully yo what i wanted and asked more questions when needed. We scheduled for a few days later.  They texted me a picture of the yard since I was at work.  It looked great.  I simply wanted all the weeds gone and the dead tree cut down.  That is what they did.  I added pictures.  Keep in mind this wasn't a design or anything.  I just wanted the weeds and debris gone.  I could not be happier with this service and looking forward to them doing the design landscaping in the future.

Meza landscaping did an amazing job on our backyard. They were very patient with us getting our materials in. Would recommend them.

We had a giant beautiful tree in our yard that suddenly died due to a disease. I got a few quotes to figure out how to handle removing it. Jose responded to my message on Yelp within hours, scheduled a time and date to come out, and was the only business who actually showed up at the time he promised. He helped us understand how the tree died and even talked with us about caring for other trees in our yard.

Jose and his crew artfully removed our tree without causing damage to our yard or home, chopped the wood for firewood as we requested, and stacked it up neatly for us. They left the yard looking better than it looked to begin with. Scheduling and coordinating the work was very easy.

Jose is so knowledgeable about trees and plants and his passion for his work is obvious. We will definitely work with him to choose and plant a new tree, maintain our trees and bushes when needed, and upgrade our irrigation system in the future.

Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Rick was great to work with!  He was accommodating with scheduling, has very fair pricing and does great work & cleanup!  I would definitely recommend him!

I had 3 or more different vendor estimates for our backyard. Due to the low maintenance & low budget backyard I had in mind, those vendors were quick to dismiss the job and inquiries. I was lucky to get in touch with Cory at Patio Pros. He quickly responded to my backyard inquiry. He was professional, honest, and patient with the HOA approval process.

We wanted a company with experience, credentials, imagination, ability/skills, affordability, personal attention and follow up ... and, we got it when we contracted with Borders & Beyond Landscaping. Erik is a working owner and supervises every step of the job from start to finish. His crew is hard working and committed. The end result is beautiful.
It has been several months since our work was completed and all that was planted, installed and set up is growing and working wonderfully.

After going through multiple landscaping companies these guys are the best.  Their work is high quality and they have been extremely responsive to our needs.  We couldn't be happier.

Valley Vista Landscaping redesigned our backyard this last month. They came to the house talked to us about our ideas and gave their professional input on what would work and what might need to be tweaked. They gave us an estimate in a timely manner along with suggestions to keep the cost down by using different materials where possible. They set a day the work would start and gave us an idea when they thought the work should be finished. Valley Vista Landscaping was honest, prompt, friendly, cleaned up after them selves and professional. We will use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Just coming on here as a heads up to you all. Whatever you do. Do NOT hire Anthony Diaz (TreeTop landscaping) for any landscaping work. We hired him in December to complete our yard as we just bought our first home. We were so excited and he was eager to start. We paid for the materials ourselves and we paid him for the work through Venmo. He is super nice and replied to me quickly in the beginning. I have pavers and 5 tons of gravel sitting in my driveway since January. He started the job but has not finished and just keeps promising to come and never shows up. Uses every excuse in the book. at this point we have the HOA on our buts and are probably out $4,800. We just want our $$ back but he has stopped replying to us. He is just a scamming people at this point as we are not the first he does this too. I really wish I would have done more research as I found a couple other reviews. Take our experience as a lesson and save yourself some money, headache, and stress by not hiring him.

I would not recommend this company to do anything remotely related to landscaping and sprinklers. After spending $5000 to $6000 with them on basic grass and a sprinkler system I now have to spend $8200 to remove and replace their horrible work. STAY CLEAR
