Best Landscapings in Phoenix, AZ

First experience with Nathan @ Divine Design, who we found on Yelp and hired based on the good reviews here. My front and back yards were overgrown with weeds and tall grass after the monsoon season, and was in need of some TLC.

Nathan and team (2 other guys) arrived at the quoted time in the afternoon, and got straight to work. Very systematic - one person took care of weeds and tall grass, another worked the mower, and the third cleaned.

When Nathan was all done, he came to check on me and ask if there was anything else I wanted his help on. I remembered there was a pesky bougainvillea bush I wanted out, and Nathan was happy to help.

Overall the job took only about an hour, and my yards were no longer a source of embarrassment :)

Will hire again. Would recommend.

Valentin and his crew did a superb clean-up job on my 1+ acre lot. He walked the lot with me prior and gave me a quote that was clear and reasonable, so there was no vagueness about the job. They were were prompt, professional and efficient. They made sure to check for my approval or input along the way. My property looks great. The clean up included pruning for over 8 trees- they all look beautiful. I will absolutely continue to use them for my maintenance going forward. I am so happy I found them!

I appreciated the reply to my review and the honest apology, as well as the offer to take 10% off my estimate. Rafa was communicative after that point, and scheduled another in-person estimate as my scope had changed. He was able to get someone out quickly, and they were friendly and took the time to ask me questions about what I wanted and give recommendations. I received an estimate that next day that was fair.

Rafa was quick to reply to my questions via text regarding payment and timeline.

Ultimately I decided to go with another landscaping company but only because they were able to offer a slightly lower price. I would chalk the initial bad impression of Envision Landscape to a one-time mistake.

The entire process was smooth. Bobby came over and provided and estimate and answered all my questions. The team that installed the turf were hard working and got it done quickly. I love my new yard it looks so much better!

Nick did a great job on my back yard. He is a hard worker, knows his stuff and finished the whole project quickly. Project:  Sprinkler system, brick pavers, sod, plantings- tree and bougainvilleas. It looks great!  I'm so happy!  I highly recommend Nick.

I called on Monday, Ana came out the same day and did a free estimate.  She had them out here Wednesday morning and they did an incredible job on my yard!!! Super friendly, on time, and it even rained on them and they stayed to get the job done.  Also very hard-working. Absolutely recommend!!!

We moved into our home a few months back and let our lawn maintenance get away from us. By the time we were ready to get it cleaned up, it became a job for a real professional. We sent out an interest form via Yelp and A-Z Landscaping answered the interest form within minutes. The owner communicated effectively back and forth to iron out the details and made sure we knew what services we were getting. The day of the job he and his team showed up right on the time estimated and completed the task faster than we anticipated and with stellar worksmanship.

Because of the work we had completed, we've decided to hire A-Z for our regular lawn maintenance needs.

I really wanted to write a good review.  If I had written it right after the backyard cleanup they did, it probably would have been 4 stars.  However. that has changed.  The crew seemed to do a good job on the cleanup.  However, I reached out about a month after to start monthly maintenance (which I got a quote for during the cleanup quote) and it has been nothing but communication problems since.  Messages go un-responded to...I am told one thing and then they don't do it.  Now, radio silence.  Also, they didn't actually pull or treat any of the weeds during the cleanup, they only cut them down.  So, now the yard looks like they were never here and they aren't responding to the monthly requests.  Because of this, reaching out to other companies, they think I need an initial cleanup since it looks like it never happened.  Very disappointed.

The company did a good job of getting out large weeds and stray grass that the regular gardener said was too difficult.  Not for this company &   their price was reasonable.

Never showed up for the consultation. Also did not message. Unfortunate, because he was very responsive on yelp when I first inquired.

They quoted me a price to remove a mesquite tree (based on pictures) and then nearly doubled it when they showed up to do the work and saw the tree. They were supposed to be at my house at 6:00am to do the work. At 6:00am, they told me it would actually be 9:00am. Then they showed up around 7:45am while I was dropping off my daughter. When I got home they were already it my backyard. This could have been very bad. I had not locked my dogs in the house, because I though I had another hour. The price they adjusted to was not dissimilar to other companies' quotes, but I had them leave because I didn't like the way they did business.

I contacted Greenheart based on the great reviews for a quote on my yard remodel where I was planning to install about 2K sq ft of turf. The gentleman showed up late for the appointment for the estimate and proceeded to tell me my design ideas weren't great and then did his own thing despite my requests for specific design. Part way through the appointment he stopped to sit down on my back porch and take a telephone appt with a doctors office. He indicated I would receive my quote that evening and I never heard another peep (no quote, call etc) until he called me over a month later to see if I still needed the quote. By then I had already hired another company and they had already completed the entire project.

We decided we were done with real grass so it was time to evaluate artificial turf.  We used Yelp and had six estimates.

Mike was the best at providing information and was the only one who noticed a dip in our brick edging.  We also liked the look of his grass samples and it's enhanced backing that none of the others offered.  

Their price was in the middle of the pack but their proposal information was the best.  One of our neighbors had their front and back yard done by Turf Monster and the wow factor sealed our decision.  

They started the job on time and finished on time.   They fixed the boarder issue and it looks great.

The neighbors walking by, five this morning, all love the improvement.  It looks real, but without the brown spots and dead area under the tree.  

The photos do not do it justice as the job was done yesterday and the grass needs to adjust to its freedom from being rolled up.  But even with that it looks like real grass.  

Going with artificial will drastically cut our water bill along with a reduction in landscape maintenance cost.

The big question, would I use them again?  Yes without calling anyone else.

They were charging me 650 to clean my back and front yard. Found another that did it for 150. Thought the price was ridiculous. We did not get to do business. The guy just look in the air and pull down the price I think

Cristo is awesome!  I have wanted a backyard patio for about 3 years and I kept finding reasons not to do it.  I'm so glad that I finally decided to call Cristo for a quote.  The guys did an amazing job.  They were professional and courteous.  Being home during this time has not been easy, but now I have added useful space.  The patio has added value to my home and given me an awesome space to work from home.

Miguel showed up on a Sunday when no one els would to fix a broken sprinkler. He fixed it and made is alright. He's an honorable man

As a first time homeowner (and a solo one, at that), I was extremely nervous going into my landscaping project. I contacted multiple companies for quotes and from the start, Sal was the most communicative and friendliest person I worked with.

Even better? The quote was the most competitive I received. I had work to be done in both my front and back yards and Sal's quote encompassed all the work I wanted without cutting any corners (I can't say the same about some of the other people - I was quoted nearly twice as much for almost half the work).

Throughout the entire process the team was great - the were prompt, respectful, professional, and most importantly delivered a STELLAR final product. Sal answered all of my questions upfront and was sure to check in with me almost daily about the progress, any questions, and updates. I couldn't ask for anything more! My yards were a barren disaster before this, and now I have a beautiful entertaining space. I could not recommend Sal's Landscaping enough.

We conducted our second major landscaping project with Hector (our backyard this time). Once again, his crew was fast, efficient, and incredibly detailed! The end product was much better than I had envisioned. There was a mistake on the end of the local nursery and Hector promptly worked with the nursery to fix the problem. Communication with Hector is excellent. He is straightforward and honest with pricing and schedule.
