A month ago we gave Yavapai a $2100 deposit for work on the rocks in the drainage ditch in front of our house. We were told a crew would be here on Nov. 4th to start the work, which would take two days. At 10:00 on the 4th I called to find out why no one showed up. I was given some song and dance about the scheduled crew being unable to do the work but the crew who could do the work would be here on the 9th. Expect them between 8.and 9 we were told. You guessed it - no one showed up and no one called. Our next step is to request our deposit back.
Update - I did request a return of our deposit, and the very next day a guy showed up with a load of rock. However, it was another two days before anyone showed up to do the work. We had been told we would have a full crew so that the work could be finished quickly. Their full crew consisted of two guys, who did work hard, but the second day one of the guys called in sick, so we were down to one guy. He was unable to complete the job that day but promised he would be back the next day (Saturday) to finish. Again we had a no show with no phone call. The work was finally done on Monday. So, a job that we booked on October 8th with work dates of November 4th and 5th was finally completed on November 18th. Bottom line - was the work completed satisfactorily? Absolutely. Would we hire this company again? Absolutely not!

They were easy to deal with, from the first call I made to them, then came a very knowledgeable certified arborists named Daniel, he  was a wealth of knowledge, he gave me a quote, I felt comfortable with his not pushy salesman approach. 2 weeks later the crew shows up, all 4 of the men were very nice and my trees look fantastic.5 stars!

Heartwood Tree Care was highly recommended by one of our neighbors and we're glad we gave them a call! Howard and his team came out to trim up our palm tree - they were quick, clean and affordable! I will definitely be giving them a call again!

Ryan immediately responded to my request for quote to trim palm trees.
His quote was most reasonable of those I had received.  Ryan showed up on time and did an excellent job of trimming as well as cleaning up afterward.  I was impressed with his honesty as told me no need to trim 1 specific palm as said was not needed.  He also complimented work of prior trimmer.  That shows me he is a man of integrity.  I plan to make Ryan my permanent guy for palm and tree trimming.

Don't waste your time and money like I have - keep looking around for a lawn company that respects its customers and doesn't lie and threaten them.

Update (reply):  looks like you don't understand what it means to bear false witness against someone and then submit false documents on their behalf.  You will be held accountable for that evil should you act on it!  Careful.

I have stuck with this company for a while as I have 4 homes that I would like to be able to stick with one company on.  This company with Conrad  and Frenando giving quotes started out OK, although Frenando quoted twice the price of Conrad but after a few missed appointments and now when I call them back for tree trimming, they have raised their price by almost 25% since I am a current customer.  I have told them to take a hike!!!  There are so many other reputable companies out here in the valley wanting business that can do just as good or better..  Do not recommend this company at all!!!!  1st job will be decent price, after that, RIPP OFF!!..  Do not recommend.

Now I just got off the phone with Conrad and he was so very rude and said if I want to go with another company , go for it!!  He really did not want to speak with me and was very rude.  I asked to speak with the owner but he said the owner is not really involved with the business and lets them run it.  Must be great to have soo much business that you can be rude and run current and potential customers away.

Highly recommended! They saved my Carob trees from dying!! Kevin came out, trimmed up trees and gave me a detailed watering schedule. I felt like he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done.
