I was on a tight budget and needed about $3000 worth of major cleanup in my yard.  Just bought 2 acres and a house in Chino Valley in June 2017.  The yard had been neglected for over 15 years.   Cottonwood trees overgrown with suckers as high as the main trunk.  Ugly black plastic erupting from the layer of rocks and looking really bad.  I hate black plastic and wanted the weeds and grass to grow freely.  A weed is only a weed if it grows where you do not want it to.  I do not like anything linear and defining so the lava rock rings around the 4 willow trees had to go and the whole yard needed some love.  I had 4 landscape companies come out for an estimate and all 4 gave the the mantra of your project is not doable because of your small budget.  What? Just because I am a small potato does not mean I do not qualify for your workers.  They wanted a budget of over $10,000 AND THAT WAS NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
Grrr.  I knew what I wanted done but was open to ideas but not more money.  So looking thru the weekly shopper I found Yavapai Landscaping and called them.  I told them I was small potatoes and would they give me an estimate for my desired aesthetics.  Nathan was so comforting and assured me they will work with me and take my direction as to what I wanted.  It is often hard for men to listen to a woman and get the same picture in their head that I had in my mind.  But Nathan and Devon were very professional and understood that I wanted a free flowing rock scape and plastic removed and no other weed control used.  A natural vibe - serene and undefined.  I hired them and am so happy with the work they did.  I could hear my overgrown yard breathe a huge sigh of relief as they methodically trimmed trees, pulled plastic, hauled trash to their dumpster.  The bobcat work was so expertly done by Louis that I asked if they could level my back yard and how much would that cost.  The gopher farm in the back was a tripping hazard for me and too uneven to risk a fall.  So I now have no more gopher holes and a smoother yard.  BTW: That bobcat work was a free-bee.
The work crews were very polite, respectful of this retired USAF woman who knew the vision she wanted (me), and best of all no Spanish was spoken - that is professional in my ethics book.  All-in-all when they finished the initial cleanup job and I charged it to my credit card I am a very happy camper.
rd art About 2 weeks later I called Nathan back and negotiated the price of putting in a 6ftx20ft paver sidewalk from the drivewayto the front porch.  The estimate was within my credit limits and I not only got the beautiful paver sidewalk but also splurged and got a slice of heaven in the front ard.  I now have a 10 x 15 foot green scape of high quality astro turf right out my front door.  It is lined with the same pavers and is very sturdy with the wind and rain storms.  I planted a plastic pink flamingo on my lawn (it is not a putting green) and sun bleached flamingos and other yard art (turtles, gnomes, lizards, etc) that no one wants.  My Flying Flamingo Refuge  accepts donations of your unwanted and outdated yard art.

We found Liberty Tree Experts on Yelp. I understand the 5 star reviews.These guys are the best. It started with a fair price. They show up as promised on time. Norm was very helpful as we had a messy mesquite hanging over my neighbors house and mine. Approximately 2 and half hours all work was done to perfection. My neighbor and me were very pleased with the work.They were very careful and extremely clean.  We'll have you guys back again for next years trimming.

One week ago today I came home expecting to see 4 trees cleaned up and one Arborvitae cut down and the root ball removed. A crew had shown up at 7am that morning. The leader of the group had the estimate on his phone and before I left for work I quickly went over what I thought would be happening that day. Neither the gentlemen who had spent an hour with me in mid-summer and created the estimate, nor the owner of the company showed up that morning. When I got home very little work had been do on a large fig tree and a blood orange tree in my front yard. In the back the lemon tree didn't look like it had been touched at all. A cumquat tree in the back had extensive work on the lower branches to the point that it had been a little over done. The Arborvitae was gone but the root ball was still in the ground.

I sent an email out to the company that evening expressing my concerns and the owner Howard replied to my email that same evening expressing that he was sorry and wanted to come out the following Saturday to make things right. Sure enough he and the gentlemen who provided the estimate met with me and got right to work doing what was originally expected. The trees were all cleaned up and looked great. Howard offered to paint the branches on the cumquat tree to help against future sunburn. He also had his crew come back later that day and they remove the root ball as promised.

All though things got off to a shaky start I would still recommend them. Howard is very nice and very concerned about the performance of his crew and wants the customer to be satisfied. I am very satisfied after seeing how much better my trees look.

Absolutely NO complaints.  From the first phone call, they are professional, have a quick response and do excellent work.  Better than expected!  I've had many compliments on the driveway pavers that they installed.  The foreman put in a beautiful arc around my plants, that I didn't visualize.  It turned out beautiful.  The foreman also came back the second day to finish when he wasn't feeling well, but he wanted to get it done before it rained.  He certainly went the extra mile in his work and dedication.  Would recommend them absolutely!

Don't waste your time and money like I have - keep looking around for a lawn company that respects its customers and doesn't lie and threaten them.

Update (reply):  looks like you don't understand what it means to bear false witness against someone and then submit false documents on their behalf.  You will be held accountable for that evil should you act on it!  Careful.

I don't like writing bad reviews but I told them that I was going to and, unlike them, I stand by my word.  First, the quality has really gone downhill since the new ownership.  My whole experience would be very lengthy so I will break it down.

1)  I had to explain 6 or 7 times to office staff what I wanted done.
2)  Appointments were not kept.
3)  Work was not completed as discussed causing multiple days of having to arrange my schedule to accommodate them.
4)  The quality of work was not the same as prior services.
5)  They messed up my patio with their equipment so I had to give them yet another day of my time for them to come out and fix it.
6)  One particular supervisor in the office is extremely unprofessional, rude and condescending.

After speaking with supervisors, I finally was able to get them to discount the service.  We will not use this business again and certainly would not recommend them to any friends or neighbors.

I have 18 Palo Verde trees, he did a wonderful job of pruning them for monsoon season.
