I wanted a certified arborist to trim a large tree in the front yard because I wanted a more natural appearance than what I typically see when a landscape maintenance person takes hedge trimmers to a tree. I call the resulting shape a lollipop tree. I also wanted my tree to remain healthy and strong. Cutting Edge Tree Service did a fabulous job. Tom was quick to reply to my request for assessment and quote. He made the process smooth and easy. Tom provided a very reasonable quote and scheduled service the next week but was able to come sooner after another job was postponed by the homeowner. He also planted a tangelo tree in my backyard and it looks perfect. I couldn't be happier with the service from Cutting Edge. I'm definitely use them again.

I've had Cutting Edge come over twice to do tree and cactus removals at the old home I recently bought.  The first time, they removed a bunch of dead ocotillo, a fan palm and a large ficus tree.  They showed up just about the time I was heading to work, walked me through everything, and by the time I got home... it looked like they were never there and the trees were gone.  Great cleanup job!  After my first experiance, I called Tom back up to come remove a 30' saguro (regretably... end of life) and a massive ocotillio next to it to start my landscape remodel.  Just as amazing of an experiance the second time as the first.  

In addition, Tom helped me find an amazing landscape designer for my property and I'll probably be using the landscaper he recomended for clearing all the gravel/grass off the property.  Definitely helps when youre new in town and trying to find good services!  If I had any tree's left on my property... I'd 100% be using Cutting Edge again.

Professional family owned business, came out on Halloween, and before I could say Boo the tree was gone! Very nice family, cleaned up as if the tree was never there. Left us with helpful information on whether we should remove the stump and what to do if we decide not to, I appreciate their friendly demeanor, and talent to get the job done! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a tree removed, quickly and professionally. Thank you!

We had some irrigation valve work done the same day as the bid. Price was fair and they showed up on time, but they didn't have the necessary parts to finish the job. They came back the next day, but a few hours beyond the time we agreed upon. Within 24 hrs the new valve broke and flooded; they came back the following day to repair. However, again arrived much later than they told us they would come. Valve was fixed and no issues since.

We also asked about a drip system leak under our concrete in which they dug up our grass and identified the issue. Was explained it was an easy fix and they committed to come next day for a nominal fee. Two days passed no show no communication back. We needed this done asap because we didn't want our concrete to get ruined. Ended up having to hire another business to complete the work and fix the abandoned grass.

They are very kind but unreliable. Hopefully, they can rectify the poor communication and learn to be a bit more accountable.

We had Ciprés do the following:

* Dig up front lawn to identify pooling (busted sprinkler replacement) - $300
* Solenoid (irrigation valve) parts - $50 x7 = $350
* Solenoid (irrigation valve) labor - $150 x7 = $1050
*  Weed and feed x4 bags - $160
* Cutting/clean up trees - $650
* Haul away all clippings - $80

Total = $2,590

The trees were cleaned up nicely and that is why I give 2 stars. I was disappointed to find that one of the solenoids that was replaced was not actually wired to the irrigation controller. Angel/his crew had Zone 6 and Zone 7 wired from the controller to the same zone underground and left one valve completely unwired to the controller system. I'm not sure why the valve was replaced if it wasn't hooked into the system. I sent a picture to Angel and he explained he would come back and fix it. 8 days later... have not heard anything and ended up doing it myself. Also, we STILL have tree trimmings that he put into some old moving boxes we have, and said he would be by to haul those away too. 8 days later, they are still in my backyard!! I paid $80 for the haul away and the fact that this stuff is still in my backyard is very upsetting. The weed and feed bags were applied and it seems as if the weeds on my front lawn have gotten worse

This started as a 1 day job, but due to the sun going down, Angel and his crew explained that they would come back the next day. He didn't show up until 2 days later. His communication was very lazy and his quality of work is less then professional.

As someone who has just moved in, we were wanting to hire a landscaper and will not be using this company. It's a shame that someone would charge so much money and not get the job done.

I really don't have pride in writing a negative review, but this is for anyone who sees the five star rating like I did, and hope this allows you to rethink if you want an experience like mine.

Angel was willing to accept half of the payment on the first day he was here and the 2nd half of payment when I was supposed to get my check on the following Friday a few days later. I am unsure if my experience was due to the fact that he was not paid in full day 1. If it is, he never explained that and it still does not excuse the lack of quality he put into this job.

If you want a job done right, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

We called Sprinkler Repair to complete some irrigation work in our yard, they completed that promptly and exactly what they quoted. After that we had them complete some landscaping with pavers in the backyard. We are extremely happy with the work and the crew was great!! I would recommend them highly for irrigation or landscaping.

AJ and Dakota both came to fix a sprinkler issue for us we've been dealing with for months. Both were extremely knowledgeable, friendly but professional and educated on their line of work. They fixed our issue and explained to me what was going on to help prevent it happening again. Highly recommend this company!

I'm an out of state investor and struggle to find honest reliable people to work on my properties.  I found Eric and his company through yelp and I could not be more impressed with how professional, honest, hard working, and reliable Eric is.  I tried him out a few months ago on one of my properties and he did such a great job, I just had him do another one for me and again, did an excellent job.  It's unfortunate, but there just aren't too many people around like Eric anymore.  He has a can do attitude, is very responsive, and actually listens to his customers.  He works with integrity, is fair on his pricing, and is just a great guy overall.  He's the phoenix area's best kept landscaping company in my opinion.  I just wish he did more than landscape as I would trust him with my whole house!  Thanks Eric, you are so awesome to work with.

Had 3 palm trees and 4 stumps removed. Showed up on time, Donna from the office was very quick to respond, Professional, efficient. Left yard looking perfect, you would never know the trees were here or that work was done. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Having only been in Flagstaff for three years I didn't have my usual list of go-to contractors so when I needed some tree work done I researched some companies here and on other review sites.

I got two estimates.  Larry from SuperTree is a consummate professional. He clearly knows his trade and is happy to share his knowledge.  Larry gave us his opinion and suggestions but left it up to us to decide what we wanted done.  The second estimate I got was a joke (and they got pretty good reviews).  The owner stood in our yard and simply asked what we wanted to do.  No input, no suggestions, nothing.  Needless to say we went with SuperTree (interesting side note - SuperTree was a little less expensive but that wasn't a deciding factor).

We have (had) 39 Ponderosa Pines in our rear yard - our total lot is .4 acres with the back representing about two-thirds of that.  The trees were very close together resulting in some of them growing straight up with very little branching.  They were all also competing for water.  Aesthetically, the trees also blocked what is a pretty nice view of a national forest that we wanted to enjoy from our deck.

The Supertree crew showed up and we tagged trees. It was difficult because we couldn't tell which trees should be removed until others were removed.  They were very patient with us through the process and made some on the spot suggestions.  In the end they removed 18 of the 39 pines.  We still have a woods feeling back there but it opened up one side to the view.

In addition to the pines we had Supertree remove 4 Aspens in the side and front yards.  Those trees were growing in clumps with other Aspens and we took Larry's advice to get rid of them.

I was so very pleased with this company.  They responded to my initial request promptly, came out the same day to review the intended project and state the cost, and came back three days later to take down the queen palm and dig out the stump.  They were prompt, thorough, polite and did everything they said they would do.  They did a wonderful job of cleaning up, and thanked me for choosing their company over any others.  It was a free estimate, and very reasonable pricing.  I cannot speak highly enough about them, and would be very happy to recommend them to any friends and/or family.  They were really great.

Rod and his efficient crew removed four large Palo Verde trees, including stumps, from our backyard. They also trimmed a palm in the front yard and removed a big ugly overgrown yucca in a tight location.  They were very careful not to damage surroundings and did a thorough cleanup. Rod was a pleasure to deal with and went the extra mile for us. Price was right and the job was done RIGHT!  What more could you ask for?
