Best Businesses in Arizona

Talked to Jason yesterday about doing an estimate today. He stated he would be by today and would call before coming over.

No call, no show. How do you expect to run a successful business this way? I will use someone else who appreciates their customers!

*Update* Jason called me and apologized after seeing my review. He legitimately seems to be a good guy and it's a shame we weren't able to do business. He explained a situation happened today and I am a very understanding person. That being said, you have to keep your agreements and if the company would have just called me, I would have been understanding of the situation.

Top Leaf Tree Service has trimmed our trees for many years and always do a terrific job.  Roland, Edgar, Johnny and Bernardo were professional and knowledgeable.  They listened carefully to my plans and offered helpful suggestions for trimming my trees with the idea of respecting my neighbors boundaries and keeping the trees healthy.  They allowed me to check their work several times and make adjustments.  They were respectful of own lawn furniture, pool and belongings and they did a complete clean-up after their trimming was finished.  They are a great crew who provided a quality service for a fair price.  Thanks Top Leaf!!

Update: I was contacted by the office and they were eager to make it right. I was given a couple of options to rectify the situation. I chose a refund. I do appreciate their willingness to fix things.

I had high hopes about this business after reviewing the photos of yard clean ups. Unfortunately, I feel I wasted my money as I've done the same level of work myself using my own weedwacker and store bought weed killer.

The first time I used them was on March 17th. The quote process and scheduling is pretty easy and painless so no issues there. You also don't need to be present as long as they have access to the area to be work on. This is both good and bad...more on that later.

The agreement was for yard clean up and pre-emergent for future weed control. None of the weeds were actually removed except for especially large stalks. They simply treated them with weed killer. The issue is the yard still had weeds and patches of wild grass throughout but they are all just shriveled and dead. This is nearly as unsightly as before. There were many fallen leaves and twigs remaining because little care and attention were given to that. None of my trees were trimmed. The pre-emergent was never done. They did not charge me for it however, due to the decent amount of rain this spring, I had to call them back for another round a little more than a month later

The next time they were out was May 5th. Same deal. No actual weed or wild grass removal, no tree trimming and no pre-emergent. This time there was a small hole in a side window. I'm certain this is from the weedwacker kicking up rocks. That's the downside of not being present while the work is done. You have no way to prove the damage wasn't there before or after they were on the property.

Sadly, I can't recommend this company nor do I plan to use their service

i was watching my mothers house while she was on vacation and needed a quick turn around on some monsoon damage to a tree in her front yard. I spoke with Troy and not only did he come out that same day to provide a quote, he got the job done 48 hours later! He provided fair, honest pricing, kept me in the loop every step of the way (i was working in the office the day he was on-site). he was absolutely amazing! i highly recommend hiring Troy and his crew if you are looking for an arborist or lawn care company in the Phoenix area.

I really don't have the words to thank UCT&L. As a realtor, it's imperative that I have professionals that are reliable and shine at what they do. Troy and his crew were able to work wonders for my client on very short notice at a fair price. It's so refreshing to do business with people who are honest and excellent at what they do! Troy and his team removed the grass from my yard and replaced our irrigation line. They did excellent work. Troy was quick to respond when I had questions. He was also upfront about the costs.

Our previous landscaper stopped coming and our yard was a total mess with 6 weeks of winter grass growth and leaves falling everywhere.  Troy's crew came out and put the place into order for a reasonable cost.  Now we have hired them for lawn mowing and maintenance.  Thanks for great work!

On time and removed a very large 7x7 foot tree stump in less than an hour. Will be using service again in the future.

I hired Arizona Tree Team to remove 2 massive trees and ended up with a great price to remove 7 trees including stump removal.  
They were on time with super nice equipment and crew who completed the job in one day.  Upon completion they left my property completely clean and raked.  I would not hesitate to recommend their service.

Very professional and diligent. They do excellent work, with an eye to details, and respond fast.  But the highest praise I can give is they genuinely care about making sure you are happy with their work, and that comes through in their approach to the job and in all of the interactions I've had with them.  If you care about value for what you pay, you'll be more than pleased with these guys.

This crew did exactly what I asked.  They were 4 hours late on arrival and did not let me know.  They did a ton of work for previously accepted price

Sam and his crew showed up today to move two Palm trees that were too close to our patio and interfering with our awning and Solar panels! They moved them to the corner of our yard without any problems! It was evident from the start that they were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing! The new placement looks like they were there all along! Loved the job they did and would recommend them without hesitation!

Medina's Landscaping team is a friendly,family owned, one stop shop for everything relating to your front and backyard! I don't have much experience with with hardscaping or landscaping but Daniel and father were extremely transparent when giving us our estimate and patiently listened to us as we tried to explain our vision for our backyard. Originally we had only planned on inquiring about  some concrete paving but they agreed to give us an estimate on some pavers (another project we were planning) as well! They're very flexible and very patient. The team really took their time (but still finished in less than 2 days) and checked in with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied with how everything was going. I'll definitely be hiring them again for some more hardscaping and landscaping projects!

Radley's walks the walk!!!  We bought a 1936 house with many old growth trees that had not received proper attention.  We interviewed 10+ separate tree companies and Sam stood out as more straightforward and knowledgeable than all the rest.  He knows his trees!  There was work others said needed to be done that Sam said was unnecessary.  Sam was always communicative and honest. Sam and his team were always on time and focused on the job. When they were done the results were better than we could have imagined.  (Strangers have stopped to compliment the house and trees!  This never happened before Radley's made it look awesome.) We've called them back time and time again as needed.  No more looking around... Radley's Tree Service is the best!

I would highly recommend Albert's Landscaping. Quick to respond with an appropriate estimate. He came out the next day to give an exact quote. Very pleasant company to work with. Albert is very responsive and easy to work with. He does use Google Translate to make sure the communication in English is correct but it is not a problem. He is very responsive, respectful, reliable, on time and meticulous in his work. He cares about his customers and getting the job done right. He and his team helped out with a grading issue in the backyard and adding more gravel to an area that was sinking. He and his team also helped with a major sprinkler and valve issue.. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it perfectly.  Lastly, we needed a few trees and plants trimmed. He and his team did a great job. Thank you for all your help Albert; I will certainly use you and your team for any future landscaping needs!

The guys are always reliable and do a good job! We have them come every two weeks to do maintenance landscaping on our yard. They've been helping us out for over a year. Highly recommend!!

Just got backyard desert landscape changed to grass. Ivan and his team did it in a week. Great pricing and made some changes throughout the process to get it exactly the way we wanted.

They scheduled time for a quote, then they never showed up when they said they would. Didn't hear a word back about rescheduling either. Can't rate their work product as we didn't get that far.

Would definitely recommend - the owner goes out of his way to ensure his customers are happy - definitely a rarity these days.
