They Martel's were recommended by a friend of mine who had their kitchen done by the them.  This is truly a family run business Dad and sons and grandson.  They custom made the cabinets for my kitchen and bathrooms.  
I told them what I wanted and while standing in my kitchen and talking to me Rubin (Dad) drew a diagram. Buy hand not on the computer.  He is amazing.  
I wanted a special color and they nailed it on the first try.  The cabinets are sturdy, well made with self closing drawers and custom hinges on the top cabinets.  My cabinets were made and installed within 8 weeks.

They are a pleasure to work with, very conscientious with attention to detail and very hard working.  Through out the years we have remodeled four  kitchens the work by the Martel's is by far the best.

The Covid-19 got in our way as we were finishing up final details,

We went in to old sol to pick out lumbar for a barn door. We had never done a barn door before and the customer service and help they gave us what extraordinary! They walked us through what we would need- helped us narrow our decision down to our final pick then helped load it all up. We couldn't be more happy with the door! JEREMY and his TEAM  are professional, friendly and detailed oriented. Not to mention extremely efficient. They installed my front door and baseboards in my home and also went the extra mile by replacing my leaking washing machine valve and offered to move my bedroom furniture back in place.

Do not do business with this company.  The quality is poor and they fail to show up to their appointments.  They took 60% up front and did not finish the bill.  They did a bait and switch with hardware thinking I would not notice low fidelity replacements.
They were hired to replace kitchen cabinetry that will have to be replaced entirely.  See pics of quality paint, inconsistent lines you would think this was done by a weekend warrior.  Not worth the risk take your business elsewhere.

Dan built and installed cabinets in an existing framed wall, where there were no cabinets previously. A job which needed surgical precision, removing the wall between two load bearing posts.
He expertly removed the wall. built and installed the cabinets as if this was an everyday type of job for him.
Three Other cabinet companies came to bid, but were hesitant, until one company gave me Dan's name and #.
The job came out better than I imagined.
He is professional in his work, and is a man of integrity.

They put some new granite tops at my BBQ and removed the old tile tops that had become destroyed from the rain. They turned my mess into something amazing!

While we decided not to proceed with our remodel, It was important to me to write a review on the service we received. We are new to Arizona and Granite Transformations was recommended to us. From our first call to the initial consultation and follow up call, these guys were amazing! It was clear that if you contract with them, they will have your best interest at heart.

My husband and I spent over $5k in January of 2022 to re do our master bathroom. Here we are, June of 2022, and we still haven't received any items yet. And we were just informed that items we bought and paid for in January are now no longer being made. The communication from this store and our salesperson has been terrible. The amount of waiting has been unacceptable. One of the reasons we choose Kohler Signature is that the items are made in America. We figured the supply chain problems wouldn't be as bad. We were wrong. This company is terrible. Do not bother wasting 6 months of your time with this store.

Back in 2010, we had Canyon Kitchen Cabinets redo our kitchen and master bathroom. They did a beautiful job on both projects, and had no problem with the many changes we made in the middle of the projects. However, after completion of the bathroom, there was a small leak coming up at the floor outside the shower. We brought it to their attention, and they sealed the grout. Unfortunately, we didn't tell them that that remedy didn't correct the problem. We just lived with that small area of moisture located at the outside corner furthest from the door. Years later...in 2015, we discovered that, in addition to that known area, there was also moisture at the joint of the adjoining  closet. It was only THEN, five years later, that we called them. Much to our surprise, even after FIVE years, (way beyond the end of the warranty period) they came out, diligently worked to figure out what caused the problem, and fixed it. (Norm told us that in spite of the difficulty they had in discovering the cause of the leak, he wanted to know how to prevent that same thing from happening with his future customers.) They were courteous, helpful, and made sure, after each days work, that the room was clean. I don't have enough superlatives to describe the high integrity of this company. They are THE BEST!! Just had a bathroom vanity installed by David and his crew.  They were fast, professional, organized and most importantly did an outstanding job.  I'm very happy with the work and will definitely call Unique Cabinetry for any of my future cabinetry and trim needs.

Unfortunately as a designer for over 30 years and someone who orders materials on a weekly basis of all varieties and from all types of suppliers, Peterman did us a great disservice recently when we pre-ordered material and called twice to confirm the material for the order (4x8x3/4 Marine Plywood sealed for exterior use).

When our contractor arrived on the customer's job site, we were amazed to see common ACX ply when we specifically order Marine Plywood (not marine grade) for exterior/outdoor use.  Consequently, there was no time to return Peterman Lumber's product or to obtain the right material from anyone due to a very tight installation schedule.  

Upon discovery of this issue, we immediately contacted the sales representative of Peterman Lumber and in addition to dealing with Peterman numerous times to come to some arrangement, we were still charge for the product even though we returned the unused product (22 sq/ft out of 32 sq/ft) and we incurred monetary loss in man power costs and materials to seal a product that should not have needed to be sealed or treated.   As companies go, this is the first time in a very long time where a supplier has insisted on charging for a product that we did not order and will not compensate for an error that was on the fault of the supplier.  

As for my design concerns as a film professional or dealing with architectural projects as I do in Phoenix, even though the representative was very courteous and did all he could to resolve the situation, it is the management that I fault for not dealing with this directly or addressing what was a small issue that turned out to be a serious issue for us.

On a scale from one to ten with ten being best: I rate Peterman Lumber a 2 for lack of concern by management or finding a solution that was reasonable for the materials used and the cost of materials.  At the end of the day as costs go, we were charge $3.00 per sq/ft for material that sells everywhere in Phoenix for $1.15 per sq/ft...  Value rating....: very poor

The new owner Ryan Brunell, remodeled most of my home last year and I would not deal with anyone else to now completely remodel my master bath. He listened to my vision and guided me as close to that as possible. As a result, I now have my wonderfully efficient, modern new bathroom. Extra care was taken to protect my white bedroom carpet so it survived unscathed!  The time line was pushed out a bit d/t the hiccups in the supply chain but otherwise all went smoothly. Thanks for the great job once again Ryan!

Had our garage floors epoxied by Arizona Garage Solutions.  We are absolutely thrilled with the way the floors turned out. Kevin was thorough in explaining the process and was easy to deal with.  His prices are very competitive and yet he is the only one who gives a lifetime guarantee, as long as you own the home.

Looking forward to having some cabinets done by him.

My experience is less than good with Sanels- THE ONLY thing that saved my experience was my salesman Jacee.  He was kind, apologized for the back office never calling as it took over 75 days to get my upper cabinets.  I would not recommend the company, yet their sales people are very good.
