We hired Canyon Kitchens to re-surface our kitchen cabinets.  We called them again because we were so pleased with their installing Quartz counters in our kitchen several years ago and also they re-modeled our two bathrooms.

Kirk came and we told him what we wanted and picked out the new doors and features we wanted.   We were told that it would be at least four months before they could do it so we said ok.  Well, it was well worth waiting for.    we absolutely love our new kitchen.   The workman were professional and considerate.   Norm even worked all day Sunday to finish everything.   He is a master at his job.    We would highly recommend this family owned business.   Thank you.

After Yelp review, I received a check in the mail within apology about our experience. Norm really listened to our needs and was able to offer suggestions that really made a big difference. We are thrilled with the way our kitchen, pantry, closet, and bathrooms turned out. We were able to choose depth of drawers and pull outs. The ability to completely customize everything was such a plus. We are really thrilled with the results. Our home is so beautiful and we get compliments on it constantly.

After receiving our quote for several options on some cabinet remodel we left TWO voice messages on Kirks phone to let him know we had made a decision on what we wanted done, and no response.  We are assuming this is an example of their customer service and will move on to another company.

Canyon Kitchen Cabinets did a great job on our new kitchen remodel.  Norm is wonderful to work with and Brian is the best skilled craft person we have ever encountered.  We rehired them again to do our master bath remodel.  Like previous reviewers we had and are having problems with the details.  The salesperson makes all sorts of oh yah we can do that, no problem.  Then if it's not specifically written down on the contract you are in trouble.  Make sure the thickness of your countertops & shower glass are specified, the height of your shower glass.  The kind of edge you want on your granite or quartz?  Is the tile included?  What part of the plumbing job isn't included?   The amount they will allow you for knobs & pulls and which Company they will allow you to get them through?  Then, just what won't they pay for?  Get your project broken down on the salesperson's work-up sheet and get a copy of it.  Your whole experience will run a lot smoother if there is a good understanding on both sides.  They do great work, there just seems to be a disconnect between the sales/office staff/production side of this Company.  (the above is just our take, and to help prospective customers & CKC alike).

DO NOT Hire!!!!
They won't stand behind their work.  We had our master bathroom renovated by Canyon Kitchen a few years back and recently had developed a major leak causing damage to the drywall. I phoned them then 2 days later they called back and came out to look at it.
The guy said he'd be back on the weekend to fix it.  He showed up, didn't have the parts, DIDN'T do the repair and then went away for the weekend and never called us back---absolute bush league!!!
Then when I finally got a call back they suggested I hire a handyman to do the repairs--are you kidding me?
They said it was out of warranty--fine but I still would have paid them to fix it.
I still have the voice mail if you would like to hear it so message me but trust me DO NOT HIRE these people.
The repairs cost me over $1000 because of their poor work.
**Rip off notice**

My master bathroom had a useless bathtub taking up space.  Canyon gave me a reasonable bid for the work and stuck to the quote.  They laid out a written time schedule in advance and pretty much adhered to it exactly.  They were patient with me when I requested small changes.  All but one of the workmen were very pleasant and Norm was very helpful.

They removed the tub and installed an enlarged and updated shower, patched up and painted the drywall and redid the tile.  The work was completed within a 2 week time period as promised.  It looks great and I plan to hire them for more work later.

Five star customer service!  Received a message from Canyon advising they read the review and would like to come back and redo the texturing.  I'm declining as nothing could convince me to repaint that bathroom.  Do you know how hard it is to get clean lines when using dark colors?  I taped, painted, taped again, repainted, taped a 3rd time, repainted, before finally getting it right.  But I am super impressed Canyon's number one goal is to ensure customers are happy!

We did a Master bath, bedroom remodel in Nov/Dec 2017. I LOVE the end result! The process was a little rough, though. I knew going in there was the possibility for things to get off schedule, & they did. If I was to start over, I would make sure EVERY detail was addressed, & I had a working plan of the project.
Demo went ok. Electrician went ok, ( but didn't have a ladder & had to use mine) Plumber went ok. Drywall repair was ok, but when I pointed out a few things, he said 'paint will fix that'; it didn't, also some plugs were moved, & the holes weren't covered by the plates ( & used my ladder). Painting was sub par( & used my ladder). I specified Sherman Williams, & they brought Dunn Edwards. Color is same, but I can't use their paint to touch up closet I painted with S.W. Also, they didn't cover wall plugs, & switches, or most of the new cabinets (installed before drywall repair & paint, seems backwards to me) I had a LOT of clean up when they were done! Cabinets are beautiful, & installation went ok. Countertops are great! Tile ended up great, but had issues all the way through. They had a plan to build a curb in the shower, we specified curbless. Set us back at least 3 days to get that removed. We wanted bullnose tile as our baseboard. CK MADE (without asking me) bullnose out of 12x24 tile, with pattern vertical, if they had ordered it, pattern runs horizontal. They had to order correct tile. Also had to order more shower floor tile because of their curb mistake. It took tile guy 5 days to pick up his wet saw, & misc. tools. Took us 6 hours to clean tile, walls, doors...
I would use them again, but would make sure EVERY DETAIL is addressed. They ASSUME too many things without checking. They were good at answering issues pretty quickly.

You Decide.
Be careful what you say and do as I contracted to have a bathroom remodeled with tile. Shortly afterward, decided since they said they couldn't match the new tile to the old, I decided to go with the solid wall surround. They had said with the tile the job would be started Oct. 15.
This was crucial to me as my husband has Alzheimers and I could no longer get him into the existing shower due to its strange design. When I changed to the solid wall, they called and said that it couldn't be done until Dec. This was not acceptable for my situation.
I had given them a deposit of $2100., asked them to return my deposit and I'd have to move on as couldn't wait that long.
When I received my check they kept $500. When I asked why, these are the things they said they HAD to charge me for.
Reviewing their drawing      contacting tile people   talk to customer about timing   calculating sq. footage   reviewing drawing again  talking with customer again. For this, they feel they are due $500.  Be careful!

We wanted to thank everyone at Canyon Kitchen Cabinets for giving us such an incredibly beautiful bathroom and kitchen!  Rich did an outstanding job with the cabinet and custom island installation (and thanks so much to Norm!).  The entire team at Canyon Kitchen Cabinets is terrific to work with!  For anyone looking to remodel their home, I would tell them to make just one phone call to Canyon Kitchen Cabinets as there is no need to look further. They will be elated with the workmanship, dependability, quick turnaround and pricing!

OUTSTANDING WORK AND CABINETS.   We  hired Canyon Kitchen Cabinets to build custom kitchen cabinets and remodel our kitchen.   The cabinets were excellent quality, solid maple and beautiful.  It took them two weeks from demo to reattaching our plumbing.   The time to demo to the cabinets being installed was three days. The wait was for the granite to be fabricated and this was done several days prior to the original date committed.    None of the work starts until they fully build the cabinets in their workshop.   I found them responsive, helpful with suggestions and committed to top quality.  A few doors were off a bit and were immediately fixed.  Best part was the cost for custom built cabinets and hands on service was LESS than purchasing prefab'd cabinets alone from retail stores.   I fully recommend Norm and his team!

Last summer Canyon Kitchen Cabinets re-did my kitchen and I was so happy with their work that I had them re-do the master bathroom.  I wish I could afford to have them do the other bathroom and build an entertainment center wall cabinet.

They worked with me on how to get the most out of our available space.  They were patient when I changed my mind from rustic alder to clear cherry for the cabinets -- so glad I went with the cherry, it is absolutely beautiful!!!  My countertops are the quartz composite, which I prefer because you don't have to seal it like with granite.  They made recommendations for options I wasn't sure about (countertop edges, cabinet configuration), but I recommend that you have a pretty good idea of what you want because they deferred to me on the basic design.  I was looking for more ideas and suggestions from them.

The quality of their work is excellent.  I didn't have any problems with drywall, but our drywall work was minimal.  They did minor tile work that was good also.  I called them back a few times to fix some minor things (appliance garage door track, cabinet door alignments) and they were happy to come back.

My only negative comment is I requested some wire shelves inside the cabinet doors under the sink and when I mentioned that they hadn't been installed, they put in some cheap plastic shelves.  This was at the end of the job and I didn't have the energy to make a fuss.

My recommendations for a kitchen remodel:  1) do it in the summer, 2) check into a nice resort hotel during the nice summer rates they give the locals (preferrably one with a kitchenette), and 3) relax away from the noise and mess and from your fridge-fee, sink-free, stove-free, microwave-free kitchen.

We are grateful every single day that we did this remodel!!  I highly recommend Canyon Kitchen Cabinets!

Back in 2010, we had Canyon Kitchen Cabinets redo our kitchen and master bathroom. They did a beautiful job on both projects, and had no problem with the many changes we made in the middle of the projects. However, after completion of the bathroom, there was a small leak coming up at the floor outside the shower. We brought it to their attention, and they sealed the grout. Unfortunately, we didn't tell them that that remedy didn't correct the problem. We just lived with that small area of moisture located at the outside corner furthest from the door. Years later...in 2015, we discovered that, in addition to that known area, there was also moisture at the joint of the adjoining  closet. It was only THEN, five years later, that we called them. Much to our surprise, even after FIVE years, (way beyond the end of the warranty period) they came out, diligently worked to figure out what caused the problem, and fixed it. (Norm told us that in spite of the difficulty they had in discovering the cause of the leak, he wanted to know how to prevent that same thing from happening with his future customers.) They were courteous, helpful, and made sure, after each days work, that the room was clean. I don't have enough superlatives to describe the high integrity of this company. They are THE BEST!! Thank you, Canyon Kitchen Cabinets!
