We had a cable wiring plate that had come out of the wall. All the wiring was hanging out and we were not able to get it back in.
We contacted Marcos from the Contreras Services and sent him pictures. He was able to figure out what had to be done and came out the next afternoon.
This was one of the best experiences we have had with having someone come out and work on our home. Marcos was efficient and knew exactly what to do. He was also very respectful and kind and told us what our options could be. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We did a full remodel on our house. The original contractor kind of bailed on us and didn't finish some of the work. We called several companies to finish the job for us. Zach and Terrell finished our project in a matter of days. They came out and gave us an estimate and we were fortunate they could fit us in between jobs.
They installed a custom built in electric fireplace with designer touches. The work turned out amazing. In the past year we've probably had over 50 different companies in our house from plumbers to contractors to painters, etc. Peters Family Construction would get our #1 ranking out of all of them.

This company was working on a job a couple of houses down from me. I asked my neighbor what he thought of the company so far, and he had a pretty good experience so I gave them a call. They ended up negotiating my claim with my insurance company and replaced my entire roof and both of my AC units at no cost to me. My insurance company was originally only repairing small sections of my roof after we had a massive hail storm in Glendale.I got to pick a new tile and new color, good bye green roof!! I am so thrilled with the service I received from this company that I decided to take a couple minutes to let you all know. We heard good things about Modern Innovations (MI) from a friend who lived in the Phoenix area and we were moving here from out of state. It was easy to have work coordinated with them to get started before we even moved in. They really listened to what we expected at finish and were very polite and respectful. They didn't make a big deal out of a few change orders either... they had a very positive attitude! The company worked everyday and long hours to make my deadline for moving in. 10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says "We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount."
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says "Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote." He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me "Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective." So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them "Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call." She says, "Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do."
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, "What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it." It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour. I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.

I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.
The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.
As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).
I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.
Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.
2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.
2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

I've worked with Ali twice now and both times have been a pleasure. We've had a backsplash installed in our kitchen as well as tile flooring throughout our home. We were extremely satisfied with both. He gave us an amazing deal on the flooring which we weren't able to get anywhere else. Ali was great to work with. I used Larry and the crew at AZ Floor to do laminate and carpeting at my mother's home, and laminate at my home several years ago. They were less expensive than everywhere else I looked and the crew was professional, clean and quick for both jobs. They even came in on short notice about a year later and fixed a portion of the floor after I had a small flood. I was so impressed, I called him again to redo the flooring in the rest of my house this year. Little did I know that the laminate I wanted to extend into other rooms is no longer manufactured, but he went on the hunt and found the last boxes in the country in a warehouse! I highly recommend AZ Floor!

It's worth notating that Matthew is no longer with the company and I'm guessing that's where the quality has and communication has suffered. Genuinely nice, hard working guys. They worked very long hours with no breaks. Price was better than any of the other bids I received for the job. Communication is really lacking. Upon accepting the bid I was asked to send KGB product/vendor info and to them so KGB which I did. As the project date approached I inquired if the product had been ordered and was told I should order it at this point we are only 4 days away from the project date and by the time I was told to order the product it was no longer available locally and would not be delivered by the project date. I did not want to leave KGB hanging with a canceled job I ran to big box flooring store and picked a product that was locally in stock. Caveat: stair nose pieces are special order and back ordered but at least I have all the flooring ready for the date I committed to. At trio member 1's recommendation I ORDERED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TOLD TO ORDER we just split the project into two separate jobs as to not cancel original project date. Long story short I knew my stairs would be a pain in the ass and I voiced my concerns and asked for trim details on original walk through as well as when I was left to order product.End result: Unfortunately after I paid them they pointed out where "***** got tired" on the stair cuts so now I have these stairs with trim that I need to either pay to get redone professionally or just look at them everyday as a reminder of where "***** got tired" . After reaching out to the company they made excuses and told me they should have charged more and gave me a hard time because they had to "work with the "materials I made available" ie the materials they were suppose to order but never did which ended up being the exact materials they told me to order. They set the price I paid it, they sent a long letter itemizing what they should have charged and what they would charge to fix their poor workmanship.Moral of the story: you get what you pay for save the headache and just pay a professional team it's what you'll end up paying to fix their work in the end anyways and their business model is "DO YOU THINK THAT IF WE HAD TO PULL OFF AGAIN, THE COST WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN QUITE A BIT MORE?" Because doing a good job in the first place isn't implied .

We had porcelain tile installed in May of this year. We paid over $19,000 for 1500 sf. of tile. There were issues throughout the process but Henley's made it right and fixed most of the problems. The real issue didn't start until they received the final payment and the floor was finished. In July, I reached out to Cindy via email and explained the top layer of the tile had tiny chips on the surface of tile. She asked me to send her photos' which I did. Cindy said the owner Kyle would need to come out to look at floor. The owner came out and acknowledged the damage and said he would have to reach out to the sales rep. In the interim additional holes began showing up throughout the tiled floor. Again, we sent emails, sent photos, repeatedly tried to schedule someone to come and look at the floor and tell us what was causing the chipping and to make the repairs. On three separate occasions, Henley's Floor & Home Pros scheduled someone to come out to our home to make the repairs, and each scheduled appointment was cancelled by Henley's Floor & Home Pros at the last minute with a different excuse. When I asked Cindy why the appointment was being cancelled again, she said most people wouldn't have even noticed it or would have ignored it. Stating the size of damage was a pin hole. Not that it matters but this "pin hole" is on very light tile and I did notice it and requested for the tiles to be replaced. Later that day, I received a call from Kyle Henley stating he had reached out to an independent company to contact us to take a look at the floor. He said if you don't hear from anyone in three days to let him know. After a week had passed and we had not heard from the independent company, we again reached out to Kyle Henley and told him no one had reached out to us. Kyle Henley stated he would reach out to them again. That was two weeks ago and we have not heard anymore from Henley's Floor & Home Pros. When we signed up with Henley's Floor & Home Pros, we were told if there is a problem with repairs, we will fix it. We notified Henley's Floor & Home Pros over two months ago at the initial onset of the damaged tiles and they have yet to come out and make the repairs. We went with Henley's Floor & Home Pros because of all of the positive reviews posted. Unfortunately, we have not had a positive experience with Henley's Floor & Home Pros and continue to wait for them to honor the warranty and make the necessary repairs as they said they would. At the end of the day, Henley's Floor & Home Pros are just like a lot of companies out there. They over promise and under deliver. I would not recommend Henley's Floor & Home Pros.

Even though they didn't have extra samples for display they gladly accommodated. As promised I returned the sample Monday morning with my order. The time between ordering and installation was only a little over a week. Super happy with the carpet by Phenix and the installation is perfect. Oh! To move furniture only $1/yard?! Can't beat it. Didn't have to take a day off moving furniture or worry about my husband with poor balance or my 85 year old mom trying to move things around. I highly recommend doing business with this family owned company. Top-notch and competitively priced!

I researched at great length to find a flooring company to work with and settled on A2Z because they had excellent reviews, were locally owned and operated, and came back with a good estimate. On the positive side (the reason for the 2 star review rather than one star), the floor looks great! Unfortunately, the trim does not. Communication from them was great when they were trying to get my money. When I had questions, I often had to ask multiple times to get any answers; answers that were often not accurate (particularly in relation to timeline). I flew in from out of state specifically to be here when the project was to be completed so I could see what I was paying for before paying. I was informed that "a crew" would be working on my project that was supposed to take about 3-4 days for demo and prep and 2-3 days for installation. The "crew" was one person for the first 6 days. I was then assured that "more guys" would be on the job on the 7th day. One more guy showed up. Finally on the 8th day (the day the project should have been wrapping up), three guys showed up to work. It took them 6 days to "finish" the job. The first four pictures below show what they claimed to be finished work. The last 3 photos are after they fixed everything. Typically a job is not complete until it is done correctly and to the customer's satisfaction Not so with this company. They insisted I make my final payment (covering the last 50% of the installation labor) prior to them fixing the terribly trim work. They did reluctantly come back out to my house to fix their work on August 3rd (because I was not willing to pay for a job that was not yet complete). I informed them that I would be traveling and out of cell reception for a couple weeks, but that I would contact them as soon as I got to the house to see their work so I could
make the final payment. Their "communication" at this point bordered on harassment (multiple voicemails and texts demanding final payment before I could see if they fixed the issues). They did, in fact, clean many of the black smudges off the walls and reset the corner pieces to be more aligned with the baseboards. I have paid in full at this point but there are still a couple areas of concern. I will update this review if and when they make things right.

The whole process of getting flooring done went very smoothly. Which was a very big thing for me as I just purchased my first home and had no clue what I was doing when it came to floors.
