My wife and I decided it was time to have our pool deck resurfaced, (approximately 600 sq ft deck), so we solicited bids from 5 different local companies, including the  pool manufacturer who originally installed the pool in 1979. (See my separate review for that  company). From moment we first contacted Daniel Baeza with Copper Sky Concrete, he was completely attentive and engaged with us as we outlined the project work scope.

Of the 5 bids, three of them were very competitive, as they were literally within dollars of each other, had similar timeframes on the project completion time, and all offered a 2 year warranty on the pool deck resurface. But my wife and I both agreed that we should go with Copper Sky for the job.

Daniel was very attentive to my follow up questions, as I contacted him several times during the selection process, as well as in preparation for the commencement, starting, during, and after completion of the project. I can't say enough about his genuine consideration and professionalism that he displayed to us.

The work was started exactly on time, and was actually completed a day ahead of schedule. (We were told 3-4 days and the work was actually completed in 2 days, with the crew returning on the morning of the 3rd day to remove the protective cover from the pool and clean-up the entire work area).

The quality of the pool deck resurfacing was all that we could have asked for, and we are very pleased with the product. We are expanding our patio, and needed concrete. We received a few referrals for some companies, but B&D were the cheapest by far. We talk to them on Wednesday and scheduled the work to be done on Friday. It was done in one day, and it looks fantastic. They did an awesome job. I would highly recommend them.

I had Sylvester and his wife Ariana repair my small water fountain.  It needed a pump and they were at my home on Friday, investigated the problem and on Saturday they installed it.  They are reasonable, prompt and very efficient.  I would recommend them to any of my friends.

I had Roman Landscape out to trim a few tall Mexican Fan Palms in my back yard. The process started with quick clear communication and a competitive quote. They arrived right on time as scheduled, did excellent work, and did a very thorough cleanup of all of the tree trimmings, including those that landed in and around the pool. Very professional and top tier service. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will hire him again and recommend to friends in a heartbeat.

Had our Kool Deck resurfaced and it looks wonderful.  It took 2 days to complete and the experience from start to finish was very positive. Communication was prompt and Dave, the owner, was on site both days to ensure the work was done properly. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Metro Concrete installed a complete front patio and overlay on my front driveway.  They were on time and on schedule for every appointment, and the job was done in a timely manner.   I am so happy with the finished product.  Thank you for all your help, making my front yard look amazing.  I will recommend them to everyone.

This is one of the best experiences with construction we have had. This company is responsive, does what they promise, keeps their schedule, is clear and communicates well regarding the job. And finished ahead of schedule.

Want to have a firm come out, ask what you'd like done, scope the project, make recommendations, and then never hear from them again?  If you do (and who does?), All Terrain is your firm!  Had them come out to bid a relatively easy and quick project. Was told I'd have a quote within 24 hours. Nothing. A week passed, then I received a voicemail saying I'd have a quote within 24 hours. 4 more days passed. Still nada. In a marketplace where there are literally hundreds of landscaping companies in the Valley, customer service and responsiveness to new business can set you apart. Or, set you back. My experience with All Terrain is the latter. Clearly my business was not valued. I recommend you look elsewhere.

While in Mesa Arizona I called Raul he said would arrive Tuesday at 7:00AM he arrived early an on time.  The swimming pool waterfall back wall had come apart and several pieces of the California Stone had come lose and dropped off into the pool.  Raul donned his swimming trunks and entered the pool to access repair area after getting acquainted with the four legged kids or dogs.  I checked every other tile and they were all fine.  Raul came and within the hour had removed all lose tiles and cleaned and grouted the problem area after which he applied the necessary mortar and replaced with exact matching California Stone which looks awesome and is even more robust and secure.  I asked Raul  if he would remove some unwanted items from the yard old hose, ladders, gates, air compressor, lawnmower & general trash which he did as well.  I requested he trim a tree in the front yard the following week we agreed on a reasonable price and he arrived on time again.  In the meantime I purchased 3 UV cool shade patio security blinds two 8' and one 6' before trimming tree he and he partner hung all three patio blinds perfectly.  I am impressed with Raul's work ethic, and knowledge of various trades if you are searching for a honest, ethical talented handyman, lawn specialist please contact Raul Montoya.

I needed to have a block column replaced on my concrete fence. This company was the most responsive and had the most competitive pricing. They showed up on time and were done in the time they promised and the job looks great!

They are an amazing company. I use them all the time to get  foundation repair estimates for my clients. My clients who have used them have been very happy with their work! As a local real estate agent, I'm always looking for good local vendors I can work with. Gaje contracting is my preferred vendor for foundation and I highly recommend them.

~We decided to fill in the living room of our home.   John (the owner) returned my call within an hour.  I sent him pictures and dimensions of the room and he texted back a price for the job and emailed a written estimate in 30 minutes! Of all the contractors I called, Midwest was the ONLY company to automatically include the placement of rebar to hold the concrete in place.
~All I can say about their work is this: John and his crew was on time, professional, friendly, knowledgable, efficient, clean, timely and meticulous!  Everything consumers hope for!
~ Added note: I didn't know anything about the necessity of rebar or other aspects of filling in sunken rooms but since Midwest did the job, SEVERAL other contractors who have come to our house to bid on other work have told me that Whoever did your concrete did a great job!  and asked for his info. for themselves.
~I got lucky I found a contractor like John views his work/company the old school way.  He cares and will do a great job for you too!!

Someone on Nextdoor recommend Pool Remodeling Brothers. Based on their recommendation I reached out to Jose for an estimate. They were responsive and got our pool fixed within a week of contacting them. We had some cracks in our pebble in the steps and we couldn't get anyone to call us back or do the job because it wasn't worth their time for what they would make on the job. Because they took on our little job we will be using them for our pool remodel in 2-3 years because our pebble is old and wearing out.
