We had a pretty basic concrete staining done on a brand new master bedroom addition to our home. There were no reviews of V Stained Concrete on Yelp (this is the first), so I wasn't sure whether I could trust them. But they were outstanding. The owner's name is Jed and he has a couple of guys who help him out. All of them are very nice and respectful of our privacy and property. Jed has a great personality; outgoing, nice to our pets.

One thing that I liked about Jed is that he always made his appointment and was punctual down to the minute. This was for the estimate, the 2 days of work, and a follow up appointment we had with him. That's pretty unheard of with home services people. I suspect his business is pretty new, but in this instance, it definitely worked in our favor. During the course of our room addition, we've had so many workers blow us off. Jed was not one of them. Yay!

The floors came out great and it was more inexpensive than pretty much any other floors we could have gotten ($1200 for about 350 square feet). Even though it was a brand new concrete floor, he roughed it up with a sander (day 1), then stained it, once with a dark gray and once with an ebony, then put two coats of polyurethane (matte finish) on it (day 2). The floors are dark and mottled, and I love them. Please make sure, though, that you know and like the way stained concrete looks. It's imperfect and unpredictable, so probably not for OCD types.

Another feature I loved about working with him is that he had his workers come over and do two separate 'test stains' on two different small areas of our concrete. This was so I could choose which one I wanted, cause I was vacillating between two different colors. He offered this; I didn't even have to ask. Then, once I picked the color, they sanded it off the floor and went to work.

All of that good stuff, and there's an even MORE impressive story to share. Even though Jed explained to me multiple times that tape and concrete do NOT mix (any kind of tape, even blue painter's tape, actually will leave an unsightly mark on the concrete), I neglected to pass that info onto my husband and two days after the floors dried, he taped some paper down so he could paint. It left big white marks when we pulled the tape up. I contacted Jed and asked what he'd charge to come fix it (I admitted it was FULLY my mistake). He wrote back and said, no charge; this one's on me. What a guy! I love this guy.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about V Stained Concrete. This review probably seems fishy, but cross-my-heart-hope-to-die that it's completely legit. He just did a fantastic job and I wanted him to have this review for future clients.

Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

Pool Deck re-surfacing project went great, 2 days to complete the job, very neat and professional. I had the old deck removed, they fixed 4 cracks that were pretty deep, re-textured and then put the color on. I was very happy with the finished project. My pool guy said it's the best that I have seen

We are expanding our patio, and needed concrete. We received a few referrals for some companies, but B&D were the cheapest by far. We talk to them on Wednesday and scheduled the work to be done on Friday. It was done in one day, and it looks fantastic. They did an awesome job. I would highly recommend them.

Highest recommendation! This husband and wife team repaired a leak at the base of the fountain, refaced the inner surface of the base, and repaired clogged pump. Prompt, courteous, and very easy to deal with. Our fountain now runs perfectly and looks beautiful.

Dave and his guys (and Kellie in the office too) did a fantastic job on our personal pool deck resurfacing project.  Dave came out in-person to discuss the job, make suggestions, and hear our expectations.  The price estimate was very fair. Bob and his crew are the best. Did a major rebuild of our firebox and what was great is that they even came out on the day it was scheduled which was during the biggest winter storm in Arizona history. Reliable and good. Cleaned up well after and wen the extra distance of making sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. Would hire them again for my next big masonry job and recommend them to anyone looking for a great mason for their big projects

Metro Concrete installed a complete front patio and overlay on my front driveway.  They were on time and on schedule for every appointment, and the job was done in a timely manner.   I am so happy with the finished product.  Thank you for all your help, making my front yard look amazing.  I will recommend them to everyone.

All Terrain recently turned my dirt backyard into a desert oasis. The ideas Natalie had and the design she proposed were more than I could have hoped for. My husband called Montoya's after our backyard went without trimming/clean up for probably about 3 years (our own fault of course). Raul responded promptly, and came to our house the next business day to provide a quote. We agreed with his quote and he and his team came the next day. It took them about 3.5 hours to clean up our mess (they even picked up our dog's poop - which I tipped them for), and they did a spectacular job. We know exactly who to reach out to in the future! Contacted Gaje Contracting, LLC for concerns in my foundation and stem wall. First impressions, Jill (receptionist) was prompt and professional when calling me from my online inquiry. The day of the inspection, Cody (the inspector) called with a 30 min arrival notice which was much appreciated. He was clean, professionally dressed, and kind. During his inspection, he was patient, warm, and extremely informational. He demonstrated how and where the foundation was cracking in a 3D visual model on his ipad and educated me on what to look out for as the crack isn't to the point of repair just yet.  While he was here, he graciously offered to tour the outside of the home to inspect my stem wall. I felt 100% at ease and confident in his skills, capabilities, and knowledge. ~We decided to fill in the living room of our home.   John (the owner) returned my call within an hour.  I sent him pictures and dimensions of the room and he texted back a price for the job and emailed a written estimate in 30 minutes! Of all the contractors I called, Midwest was the ONLY company to automatically include the placement of rebar to hold the concrete in place.
~All I can say about their work is this: John and his crew was on time, professional, friendly, knowledgable, efficient, clean, timely and meticulous!  Everything consumers hope for!
~ Added note: I didn't know anything about the necessity of rebar or other aspects of filling in sunken rooms but since Midwest did the job, SEVERAL other contractors who have come to our house to bid on other work have told me that Whoever did your concrete did a great job!  and asked for his info. for themselves.
~I got lucky I found a contractor like John views his work/company the old school way.  He cares and will do a great job for you too!!

Had an old plaster pool that was in need of some TLC reached out to multiple companies to figure out  timelines and costs. Pool Remodeling Brothers came through, they were competitively priced and there timeline from start to finish was just under 2 weeks. The final product looks amazing, can't wait to enjoy it this summer! Will definitely be calling when I'm ready to redo the pool deck.
