Dylan Electric installed our solar system at a fraction of the cost of what those big-business/wham bam companies charge. The major solar companies slap a few solar panels up in a quick and dirty manner and you end up leasing the panels for nearly a lifetime; you are lucky to see any savings. Dylan Electric offers a greatly superior service. They help you analyze your average electricity use to help you determine how many solar panels you need, and then install enough to cover your whole usage. Additionally, we were able to purchase our panels without having to lease them. We haven't had an electricity bill (other than mandatory fees of less than $30/month) since our solar system went live over two years ago. This system will pay for itself in about 4 years and after that, we will not be paying for electricity! And our bill used to average $437 per month. We did have a recent problem with an inverter and Dylan Electric came over and got the system promptly restarted, free of charge. If you are considering going solar, and you definitely should be!, Dylan Electric is the way to go!

We just moved to Arizona and was looking for an electrician. It seemed like every electrician was either just to busy to respond or don't have any time for small projects. However I came across Tom and that was THE best thing that happened. Responsive, reliable, and reasonable. I called Scott, the owner/operator, and was able to schedule a 7am appointment for the following day.  Scott showed up exactly at 7am and repaired a few electrical problems in my house, when previous electricians failed to repair the problems.    Highly recommend Scott.  I have kept his contact information for future electrical challenges.

Beware! Company bills you $125 fee for estimate but does not tell you when you make the appointment there is such fee. And he can't even do the work needed.
I have remodeled my home for 7 years and never had anyone charge a fee for an estimate.

I needed someone to repair an on/off switch on my spa. This company was great in the way that they set up their appointments. Also, you are sent an email before the appointment that has the electrician's photo, so that you will know who to expect. Great idea! This man was very professional. He took his time assessing what needed to be done. Then gave me two options. When he was finished, everything was cleaned up. You would never know anyone had been there. And my problem was solved.

Needed four exterior outlets installed. Through Yelp found Tymeson Electric LLC. Contacted and Bruce the owner and electrician came out very next day gave bid. I agreed on price and Bruce and his son installed the four outlets. Being a old former store manger for large department stores and dealing with contractors , tradesmen , delivery , service and installers I must say Bruce and his son performed a smooth no problem installation along with clean up when the job was done. I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for Jon and his company.  I had an issue with power to a pool filter that lost one leg of the circuit.  Amazingly and with great efficiency he diagnosed and fixed the problem.  While he walked around he also made some suggestions for other items needing attention that I could handle myself to minimize future problems.  He also provided an estimate when I decide to re run an electrical line or fix a pool light.   Friendly honest and amazing are three words that come to mind.  He also spent time answering all of my questions and concerns in a forthright manner.   Most highly recommend!   RJ

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Tom is one of the nicest, most honest, and talented electricians you will meet.  He has done expert work for us several times putting in a new load controller for the whole house and fixing some lights inside.  He always goes the extra mile.  You can count on his work to be excellent and reasonable.

My husband and I have used Third Street Electric three or four different times over the last few years, the most recent being just last night to fix our perpetually tripping AC breaker.  We called the owner, Sead, yesterday morning, desperate to resolve the AC breaker issue and not wanting to spend another night sleeping lightly and getting up in the middle of the night to reset the tripped AC breaker, and he made an appointment for us as soon as we got off of work yesterday.  (He was actually sitting at my house waiting for me as I drove up last night!)

As usual he was a true gentleman and extremely friendly as I demonstrated our current issue, which as it turned out is a recurrence of a similar breaker issue we had three years ago and Sead was able to recall it perfectly and even remembered that when he came out to fix the issue three years ago that I was in the hospital on mandatory bed rest.  (He even remembered that, like him, we are fans of the German rock band Rammstein!)  I was extremely impressed with his memory recall and touched at his exclamations of delight when meeting my toddler that I was on bed rest with three years ago.  Like I said, he's super nice!

Anyway, on the business end of things Sead is a straight shooter, he will tell you *exactly* what you need (and no more) and what it'll cost to get it done.  I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and super friendly electrician!
