Saw a couple reviews on Yelp abounorth valley that were positive so I decided to have them come out and look at my irrigation.. I had a irrigation leak that I seemed more involved than my skill set. He sent me appt time and hourly rate, I can't really give a comparison on rate because I didn't get another estimate but I believed it was a small fix.  They came out fixed the issue checked it prior to leaving. Initial Set up was not really done correctly. They were personal, on time and educated me on some irrigation items, which I found helpful. Thanks again. Would recommend!

Nick and Tracy to the rescue. I had been having intermittent problems with my irrigation for quite some time when finally one of my zones would not turn off. I opened the valve box to discover a shut off valve had broken. Realizing I was in over my head to repair it I went to Yelp to find a professional and get some quotes.

Desert Valley Irrigation was 1st to respond and I set an appointment for a couple hours later. Nick and Tracy had flawless communication and arrived on time. They diagnosed the repair and gave me a quote. I had received another quote online for the same repair and they were very close in price. I always support small businesses so this was an easy decision. I scheduled the repair for the next day. Again the next day they arrived on time, had great communication and got right to work. The repair was done and my irrigation is working perfectly now. They also set the timer and gave advice on some other plants we had concerns with.

Nick and Tracy both come from a family of landscapers and bring a wealth of knowledge. They do the job right with quality parts. There is a lot of competition in the landscaping industry here. If you are like me and prefer to support small family owned businesses, prefer quality work and know they will stand behind the job Desert Valley Irrigation is a great choice.

Excellent service and value. Installation took less than 6 hours and looks great. Project manager handled it all and I am very happy with their work.

Customer service was crap.  They used what appeared to be contract labor for the install and left a large seam right in the middle of the yard.  Also had numerous weeds growing right in the middle, not edges, of the lawn.  After multiple complaints they finally sent another crew who instead of replacing the section, made a more obvious patch than the seam was.  The crew was very insulting and unprofessional.  Had to involve the Az ROC (which was also a joke) and only recourse was to sue these guys, which I chose not to do.  Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Scheduled with me for a quote for biweekly yard maintenance and then never showed up when I waited at home for him. Never answered my text. Look elsewhere for a reliable company.

My yard had two huge problems. We have flood irrigation and the berms had washed out causing big grade shifts...causing flooding!
Secondly...I am unfortunately next door to a cat hoarders colony. My front landscape has been used as a litter box and was destroyed by the cats. I finally decided...this is now too big of a job for me.

I needed all kinds of random gravel/dirt/rock/boulders hauled to the dump or moved from here to there and graded...I didn't need perfection, just a lot of help!

After meeting with Bob, I had no more worries! He understood exactly what I needed done and quoted me a fair and reasonable price. I learned that he also did other types of work like removing trees or concrete.

They showed up on time, took great care not to damage our new concrete, and had professional attitudes and fun personalities. They worked for two days and cleaned everything when the job was finished.

I've always done my own yard work, but summer is approaching too fast. I am so happy to have found this company because now I can relax and enjoy creating my new (hopefully more cat proof) landscaping!

Over the past 4 years I've hired a number of different yard maintenance crews, each time hoping these guys will be the one's I'll want to keep long term.  Each of these companies did a nice job initially, but then each one tended to slack off on doing what they were doing initially.  In each case, I would have a talk with the owner and crew asking them to please remember to do the things that they were doing initially (e.g., getting rid of the weeds, blowing the leaves out from under the trees and bushes as well as the main yard area, occasionally trimming the small tree branches away from the roof of the house, and let me know if they see a problem with the water system or some other problem with the yard).

Each time after I'd fire a crew I'd end up doing the yard myself until I got too busy with work and would need to find another crew - I hated having to go through the same thing again.   I've always been willing to pay a reasonable price (and even more) to find a yard crew that would just do what they said they would do, consistently!

This time, I went to Yelp to look for a crew and took a chance on Kenny's Lawn Service because they had excellent reviews...Three months later, I'm am extremely pleased with the work Kenny and his crew have done!   Each time they come they do exactly what they said they were going to do on day one (imagine that, a company that does what they said they'd do - sadly, this seems to be rare today).  In addition to doing what they said they'd do, and doing it consistently (this is great = less stress for me), each of the crew are very professional, respectful, and friendly.  What's more, I moved into a nicer neighborhood and am paying the same amount as I was paying in my previous neighborhood with a smaller yard with fewer plants and tress!!

These guys did a really great job and charged a fair price. They brought a crew out to the house and took care of business. They quoted the job quickly and they rectified a few small issues that arose.

I can't say enough about Craig and his crew. Everything turned out amazing. The work only took two days and he communicated everything step by step. He also went above and beyond for us, cleaning all of our rocks and weeds. You need him for your next yard project!

I found BV Lawn Care, after getting several quotes, in addition to one other 5-star rated business on Yelp. From the first time I spoke to Billy, I had a favorable impression of his cheerful responsiveness. I was actually pretty happy with the quote I received from a certified arborist, who showed up first to quote me on the trimming of a mesquite tree in my backyard.  In addition to the mesquite tree trim, I also wanted some trees removed, along with having new ones planted. In addition to my primary residence, I also had a more substantive project readying a rental house in Queen Creek for sale. The backyard was in dire straits, and required immediate appeal by having new sod and grass installed, and the entire irrigation system repaired to sustain the new grass.

Among the other quotes, the certified arborist wasn't able to handle the entirety of the project scopes I was looking to complete, aside from tree removal. Another 5-star rated Yelp business also didn't stand up to the test of reasonable pricing, and was not the most professional either. After receiving a late evening phone response about the pricing for the sod and grass installation (with audible screaming kids in the background), I was actually advised that many people nowadays don't even want new grass placed in their backyard - you'd be surprised how many people are upset at having grass when they don't want it. He suggested I consider putting the house on the market as-is. While there might have been merit in this statement, the lack of professionalism and attitude of 'Meh, I don't need your business' rather than 'What can I do to meet your needs?' was one that I did not care as much for.

This is where Billy stepped in. From the moment I met Billy, he was punctual, professional, upbeat, super friendly and enthusiastic about wanting to earn my business, by proving himself through his work to make this the best possible experience for me. As the owner of the business, he recognized the need to prove himself first to gain my trust as a first time customer. He cut me a truly awesome deal that encompassed both my home and rental house in Queen Creek. I was hesitant, but it was difficult to turn down what he had offered me. And boy am I glad I shook hands with him and decided to give him a shot! For me and my husband, it's safe to say that I will always be going back to BV Lawn Care for all our lawncare needs!

Billy and his crew did an AMAZING job with both projects. In particular, the house in Queen Creek that we put on sale. The transformation of that house was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Even my real estate agent remarked that the landscaping was what really sold the house, and asked for Billy's information, wanting to use him for his own projects!

Billy and his crew worked quickly to make sure we didn't waste any time readying the house to be placed on the market. Billy really put his best foot forward with us by working around the clock so we could have the house on the market by the weekend. And yes, Billy stays plenty busy already with plenty of other jobs, but he still put our needs first and delivered top-notch work!  The end result? We had a bid for a sale contract on that house that VERY SAME WEEKEND (in just 2 days!), and I honestly attribute it to the clean-up job he did. I will let the pictures tell its own story. He truly went above and beyond, communicating with me and my husband every step of the way, so that we understood exactly what was going on, what needed to be done. And he really took care of us with our timeline, at a very reasonable cost! There are many other little bits of fixes that he did at no charge to help earn our trust in him as a first time customer. I'll say: I'm SOLD! :)

I've also posted some pictures of the job he did at our home, to showcase the mesquite tree trim, and palm tree stripping that he did. It really opened up our backyard, and made it feel brighter and bigger.  We could not be more happy with his work! He went above and beyond and helped us procure some river rock to place over the planters in our pool too, as the dirt from the planters kept blowing into the pool, that caused the filters to clog up incessantly.

Our experience with Alberto and his team was excellent. They provided a very competitive quote and were able to do the work on the same day. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Think Green (led by John Riep) did a fantastic job from start to finish for our front yard in the Summer/Fall of 2012. John came to the home multiple times (without payment for his services) and designed/redesigned a landscape plan that was beautiful and recognized our water usage concerns. John also worked with our budget and consistently came up with creative solutions to our constraints. Once it was time to implement the design, his people were professional and did an outstanding job. Since they finished the job, John has made himself available for questions about maintenance, watering, etc. I recommend Think Green's services highly!

Had 2 Queen Palms in the backyard taken down. One was 12' and the other was 18' to 20'. Within about 1 hour, both were cut down, area was cleaned up and debris was hauled off!
We had several quotes and they were the most reasonable. We selected them because of the reviews and cost for this service.
We would use them again!!!

Could not recommend more! We had a rough time with past attempts at having our backyard redone and Bless Tierra exceeded our expectations. Great communication, beautiful execution, and they've even made a point to follow up with us multiple times to ensure everything is still going well. They were a delight to work with and would work with them again in a heartbeat if needed down the road!

For those interested in what we had done, they installed a paver patio, an irrigation system (and fixed our old front yard irrigation, installed turf, and rock beds with a variety of plants.

We needed to get 4 palm trees trimmed up. I called Jose based on the reviews here. He had me text him photos of the palms I needed trimmed - he responded quickly with a reasonable quote and indicated he could do the work the same day. We weren't in a rush to have the work done, but grateful to have it done so quickly. he showed up on time and he and his co-worker got right to work. They quickly got the palm trees trimmed then offered to trim 2 over grown mesquites -- gave a reasonable quote so we had them go ahead and trim those as well. They did a fantastic job - cleaned up all the trimmings and hauled them away.  Probably not the cheapest around but the prices seem about the going market rate so not bad. They were thorough, friendly, and did quality work.

Yesenia was great at responding to my request for an in home estimate for hardscaping in my back yard.  My appointment was scheduled and I received a text the day before confirming a time frame for the visit.  The morning of, I received a call from Kendall asking to get a little more information about the project.  He asked me what my budget was and I let him know that I wasn't sure as there were a few different scenarios I was interested in depending on costs involved.  He proceeded to try and give me a ballpark price based on arial photos from Maricopa county ($5,000 and I never chose a product). I was a little surprised and said that I felt he needed to be on site to see what I was looking for and that it couldn't be calculated based in arial views.  His statement to me was that he did not want to waste his or my time was a clear indicator that it was his time he was more interested in.  I voiced that I felt like he was vetting me when I was the one interested in learning about the company and what services were offered.  After 10 minutes of exchange his last statement to me was I don't think this is a good fit for our company and he was absolutely right.  I would not waste my time or money on services provided by a company with this type of sales approach.

Used them two times and must say there are much better landscapers out there that I will be hiring one of in the future.  One thing that they did that was frustrating was they just showed up without confirming a day with me (2 times), thank goodness someone was home to let them in the backyard.  Their prices are on the higher side considering the quality of the service is average at best.  But mainly, the owner was super rude to me when on the second visit, (an annual service, none the less -) the work that we had verbally agreed upon was not completed and I had to call them back out to complete the job.  The owner then proceeded to be argumentative with me and inform me that he had written down everything on the invoice, which he had not and how he'd had trouble with me all 3 times he'd serviced my house. - Interesting, because he'd only been there twice and the previous year there WAS an issue but it was with a neighbor's tree and not with me at all.  So, in conclusion, they finished the work and my yard looks fine now - but I must advise that I would look further before doing business with a vendor that would talk to a female client so disrespectfully without having of their facts straight, very unprofessional.
