Dave from North Valley Lawn now does delivery/planting for Summerwinds Nursery on Tatum.

I called him a few weeks ago to confirm his planting rates, and he was very helpful with providing me with the information I required.

Although I personally have not had him deliver/plant anything, this review is based on initial information provided.

Since planting is now outsourced to a third party (North Valley Lawn Care) from Summerwinds, if you have other plants on your lot that require planting he will do it for fees based on plant size while he is on site.

I highly recommend Desert Valley Irrigation for all of your landscaping irrigation needs! This is a family owned, veteran friendly company and Nick and Tracy are excellent to work with - true professionals in every way.

We contracted with them to have our front and back yard irrigation changed over to PVC pipes after experiencing numerous leaks from the cheap plastic the builder uses.

Nick responded to my Yelp request right away and after measuring our yard and talking to us about options, he sent us a quote that evening. We were able to schedule the work within a couple weeks and after two days, my yard was totally converted to PVC to include a new irrigation controller. They cleaned up after themselves and the yard looked great once finished. My plants are happy too!

What really sold me on Desert Valley Irrigation was their warranty - two years AND they come out in the spring and fall each year to check the system and adjust for summer/winter watering.

Wow! That's the only word I can use to describe this company. From my initial meeting with Corey, to working with Ben, my project manager,  to their wonderful employees doing the work; everything was top notch! The way that they transformed my backyard is unbelievable. I never thought that I would have such a great look back there. Ben listened to everything I said, and went above and beyond to make my vision happen. The professionalism is out of this world and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a backyard oasis. They were super expedient in getting the work done, but the craftsmanship is out of this world!  Thank you so much!

I got nine quotes from all the high rated companies and some of them had ridiculous overpriced grass that had crappier specifications and looks. I had my grass installed last week and i am super happy with it. It looks so awesome i keep staring at it. Erin and Bobby were great and very informative from beginning to end. It totally changed my house facade. Either most people out there dont shop around or are completely not smart. Purchase Green was cheaper and had a  better product. It was the logical decision. Like i said before most other companies would require more square footage of product to cover my area for whatever retarded reason and excuse, making the price in some cases over $1000 more expensive. It is like buying carpet for your master bedroom but you need to buy enough carpet to cover an additional bedroom.... smh yeah I dont think so!

I have been using this service for several years now. They are hard working and meticulous, led by a man who is honest and possesses a strong work ethic.

Bob and his team are professional, efficient, and very hardworking. Was on time and communication was excellent throughout. They were very careful during the work to avoid damaging anything. I am so grateful as they saved me a lot of money instead of going through a general contractor. Definitely will be hiring them again for my future projects!

Kenny has been so great to work with and his team has done an amazing job with our yard!  After our first visit, he came out to double check the work and followed up with me on if I was satisfied with what they did.  Our yard always looks gorgeous after they come and I have been very impressed with their work!  I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for lawn services.

I called and emailed Craig Rawlings of AZ NativeScapes as just an additional comparison quote for a backyard remodel and I am so glad I did. The work consisted of removal of old rocks, plants, water fountain, old drip system and paver border around lawn and walkway. The new work included Installation of new drip system, new plants, repositioning of boulders, new paver walkway and lawn border and additional work on my lawn sprinklers, both front and back. His quote was very competitive, in fact in the middle of the other two quotes. After meeting with Craig, reviewing his quote and looking over his website for us it was a no brainer, but to go with AZ NativeScapes. Craig, like his crew, were extremely professional and competent. They completed the work in the estimated time and this was after adding a few new requests. I was so impressed with their work that I asked them to replace the paver border in my front yard which he was kind enough to comply with the next day. Please note his company is very much in demand but will be well worth the wait. Thanks to Craig, Christian and the rest of the crew.

Loved this companies service. They were very professional and very responsive to any concerns we had. They cut down two big trees that needed to come down and trimmed up all our other trees. I would definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.

Alberto was super responsive and quick to resolve and projects I had for him. He finished in a timely manner and just kept to the work. Though I'm new to paying for landscaping I believe the price he gave me was fair.

Think Green (led by John Riep) did a fantastic job from start to finish for our front yard in the Summer/Fall of 2012. John came to the home multiple times (without payment for his services) and designed/redesigned a landscape plan that was beautiful and recognized our water usage concerns. John also worked with our budget and consistently came up with creative solutions to our constraints. Once it was time to implement the design, his people were professional and did an outstanding job. Since they finished the job, John has made himself available for questions about maintenance, watering, etc. I recommend Think Green's services highly!

Yep, as good as it gets!  The communication is outstanding, great service, always show up and give me a great rate on when I need my larger trees trimmed.

Used this landscape contractor twice. First time was a revamp front yard, pull bushes and tree for lower maintenance yard and the job was completed in one day as promised and turned out great.  

The second time was recently to assist with proper drainage, replace real turf with artificial turf and the job came out excellent.  The contractor is very ethical, always shows up as promised and follows up on after project is completed. Yes, the day after on both projects. The quality of work meets high standards and would use them again.

Jose and his team were excellent.  He was very responsive and communicated well.  He speaks English and Spanish.  Jose was quick to take a look and give me an estimate for a small palm tree removal and trimming of my large date palms.  He showed up the next day to quickly take care of it.  They did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves.  For me, that is a big deal.  I appreciated his team and will use them on a regular basis for trimming now!!

Good and bad here. Yesenia is very nice, and they have been responsive and easy to reach. She stated that her office manager is quoting me $700 for monthly yard service on my property, because I'm outside of their radius. Again.. that's $700 per MONTH. Our yard is already landscaped with desert landscaping and artificial turf and is so low maintenance that bi-weekly service is too much (the workers have nothing to do.. show up, leaf blow and leave) so monthly works well!

We don't live in a million dollar estate. I have a standard 4 bedroom at 75th Ave and Glendale so I'm not in the boonies either. I'm getting quotes at $85 a month, which is more reasonable. I'm not sure if maybe it's a communication issue as to what I'm looking for but when I asked to clarify that was a per month amount, she said that's what she was told. $700 a month is an incredible out of radius surcharge. They did state they'd need to see the property to properly quote, but at that price, why bother? Would it only be $500 once they see it?? Again, very nice people but proceed with caution.

I have been using the service for almost 3 months. When I first moved in I found Lucas Lawn service's card in the irrigation systems timer. On the back of the card it had the zones written out for the system. I assumed they must be the ones that have taken care of the yard before, so I would give them a try. When I called in I spoke to Tammi and she confirmed they use to service the house. She said the owner Ryan would give me a call. He called me later that day. He said the house use to be serviced and he didn't need to come out and see the yard. He would just give me the price the old house owners had. It was $60 bi-weekly and that included mowing the back yard, weeding the yard and flower beds, and rotating the trimming of the front and back yard flower beds. I agreed to it and they started. A few weeks in I saw there were weeds coming in and I called Ryan about it. I told it was grassy weeds. He said there was a chemical for grassy weeds and his lead was the only one that could apply it because it was expensive. He sent his supervisor out the next day to look at the yard. His supervisor agreed it was grassy weeds and he would take care of it on the next visit. A few weeks went by and the weeds just got worse. On June 1st I responded to an email from Tammi letting her know I was not happy with all the weeds in the yard. She asked me to send pictures, which I did. She said it would be taken care of. By June 30th, I was beyond frustrated. The yard is not very big, and half of it is now weeds. I let them know to cancel my service because they did not take care of the weeds, nor was the yard showing any sign of getting better. I get an email back from Ryan saying it was the first he had heard that I had a weed problem and wanted to send his new supervisor out. I told him I wasn't waiting another month, while paying to see results. He came back with another email with a threat of my contract and technically I needed to give 30 days notice. Whatever, I let him know I didn't appreciate that since he didn't hold up his end of the contract. I finally just called him to get to the bottom of it. He was polite but acted like we had never talked. It was the first time he had heard of the grassy weed problem and he didn't think they serviced the house before I started. Really!! He agreed they dropped the ball on communication, but said there wasn't much they could do with grassy weeds. Why didn't you tell me that 2 months ago Ryan??? Why was today the first I heard of that and that you charge extra for that kind of weed control. Anyway, they aren't a terrible service if you just want mowing and trimming (but there are others just as good and cheaper) but I can NOT recommend them for customer service, lawn and especially not weed control.
