FOLLOW UP 2/25/21:
Don't waste your time with this company. Apparently it's too much trouble for them to call a customer before they're on their way. For months and months, we've dealt with these guys just showing up without calling first.

This is a problem because I keep our front gate locked to keep our child with autism from eloping. And usually when they did come, we were online during a live class, so it's impossible to step away. Also, we have a cat in the backyard who needs to be put in a carrier. And we've told them every month, basically.

Obviously another reason we requested them to call first, is so their guys just aren't sitting out there waiting. I know and understand that their time is important; if they run late, it's screws up their schedule. I get it. So this is not just us being picky customers, it's about trying to be courteous to YOUR employees.

One of the the first times they came, I went out there and asked them why they didn't call first. And the gentleman showed me his phone where it shows them the job, and the information field for notes which is where the request to call us first would go, was blank. So needless to say I apologized to him and told him my husband would call the office to request that. And every month, they would still just show up. Once they came and just did the front, and tried to charge us full price!

That's another issue with this company is the frequent billing issues such as: promising a discount of x dollars, and then actually receiving a discount of y dollars, and then when you call to ask them, they would seem annoyed and reluctantly fix it, and they've actually NEVER apologized for their constant errors. (It almost seems like they try to sneak in charges, and if they get caught they'll fix it.)

My husband talked to and emailed Clara and Nathan about this SEVERAL times, they said they would rectify the issue, but to this day, have refused to do so. I get the sense that they are either married or a couple, and clearly they don't communicate with each other about anything, and in fact just seem like they are lost at the airport.

Now, the icing on the cake here is that Nathan basically tells my husband that they don't want us as customers anymore because they send out a service notice and that should be enough for us. Well, Nathan and Clara, it isn't. This is absolutely NOT an unreasonable request by any means, and you honestly just showed everyone here on Yelp and Google just how unreasonable and unprofessional your company is. I truly wish you both the best of luck, and I would also suggest you both take some classes on customer service and in dealing with customers from a service position.

We were upcharged when Valentin arrived to trim and clean up palo verde trees. They damaged a cactus and would not replace or compensate. As it was bulk trash collection days in my neighborhood they did not have to pick up limbs, etc they just had to place on curb. You'd think there would have been a discount for that since they didn't have to haul the limbs and trunk pieces away. Nope. Be careful when you order services over the phone. Be prepared to pay a different amount then quoted.

Before they remodeled our backyard I told them what I was looking for (types of pavers, artificial turf, plants, etc.). Rafael guided me to what would look best for the size of our yard and he very helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. I loved the blueprint video they sent to us before starting the project so we could get a picture of our backyard's potential. Prices for each detail in the remodel were written out clearly. Best part was they basically remodeled our entire yard within 2-3 days. They get the job done fast and do it well!

I cannot express enough how happy I am that we hired this company! From the beginning, it has been great to work with them. Austin came out and did my quote and he was so nice and personable and gave great suggestions on what to do with our yard. Our yard is pretty small and we wanted to make the most out of it with turf since we have 2 big dogs. I would've never thought to do the L shape grass it it weren't for Austin. We had another company come out and give us a quote the same day and Austin had set the bar way too high, so it was a no brained and we signed with Always Green Turf within the hour. We moved in Sunday night and they were here Monday morning to get the pavers started so we could get our hot tub delivered on Tuesday. I've even working with Aaron the last couple of days during installation and he is great at communication on how things are going and when they'll be done. 10/10 recommend!

We hired Nick to help us with our front yard, it was a disaster before and thanks to Nicks advice and hard work, he created something special! The photos speak for themselves. We found Nick on Yelp and after contacting him, he came out and gave us a free estimate and mapped out his idea for what the landscaping. We also had several other companies come out, but they either weren't as helpful or quoted us absurd amounts, whereas Nick was honest, transparent and kept within our budget! We will have him and his company come out and do our backyard next - highly recommend

I highly recommend this company!  Got a quote on Friday and the job was completed by Tuesday the next week.  My new yard looks great and the pavers along the edge were meticulously placed.   The price was very reasonable and they did not leave behind a mess.

We've had a wonderful experience with Jorge and A-Z landscaping! Super responsive, helpful, and flexible. They came in and took care of our yard and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!!

I reallllly wanted to leave a great review for these guys. I gave so many chances to make things right. Unfortunately they have gone dark on us after cashing the check and leaving our yard unfinished.

We hired them to lay weed preventing tarp/netting under our backyard rock and do a cleanup of grass, weeds, etc. Initial cleanup was fine. They finished and left after taking the check. I told them thank you and they were gone. This was where i messed up. I should have gone and verified that every single section was complete and to my satisfaction before i handed them the check. But I'm an optimist and I trusted that it was done right.

By husband comes home, sees the yard, tells me it's not even halfway done, and i get mad. Seriously? No communication was made that they would be back to finish or anything. I reached out via yelp to the company...apparently they ran out of tarp and had to come back (this first job took at least 6 hours with a few guys). WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW BEFORE THEY LEFT .

They come back a few days later and this time only one man is doing the work. Takes him over 8 hours to lay the tarp (my yard is not big...our entire lot is only 8,000 sf and my house is 2000 of that and we have a large patch of grass...the rock is minimal.) still doesn't finish and says he will have to come back.

I hear nothing for days.

I reach out AGAIN via yelp and have heard NOTHING back. Twice I've tried to get in touch and there has been zero response. Oh, but they cashed the check.

All i can do is warn others. Beware. The work they did was okay. Still looks terrible in spots, and weeds are popping through the parts of the netting that they cut half-assed. But I learned my lesson. I will not work with this company again after all the hassle and now my yard isn't even complete AND I'm out the money.

I used Custom Weed and Pest Control about six years ago at a rental.  I needed their services again at the same rental.  For $110 they sprayed the small weeds in the front and back yard.  Within a few days, all were dead.  I asked them to come a respray about a week later due to new weeds.  They said the growth was grass and they could not prevent it's growth.  However they resprayed anyway.   Customer service was excellent and they stand behind their product.

Called them out for weed removal in my front yard. They came out quickly and did an excellent job for a good price.

After multiple messages back and forth we scheduled an appt for an estimate. Unfortunately, Sam was a no- show. No call, no follow up, nothing. Luckily I did not take off work to be here but cannot possibly recommend a business that treats a potential customer with so little regard. Glad I found out before I committed to any type of work being done

Walter did a great job. he showed up at 6:00 a.m. like he said he was and he took care of the job within 24 hours of upon my request. I will use the service again when needed.

Their customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend this company for any of your landscape projects!

This review is not regarding their product since we made our best efforts to try to have them come in for an on-site estimate. Called the business a couple of times- first time spoke with someone and they immediately asked if I could just text them and basically hanged up. Text the business and no response. Called again and left a voicemail with no response.
Ended up contracting another local business.

They were charging me 650 to clean my back and front yard. Found another that did it for 150. Thought the price was ridiculous. We did not get to do business. The guy just look in the air and pull down the price I think

Green Valley did an absolutely phenomenal job on my side yard. I wish I had called him to lay the pavers I had done a month previous. Green Valley replied to a quote I requested on yelp wishing minutes.  He was able to come the next day (on a Sunday) and fit my job in for Monday. It was completed by the time I got home from work. His prices were perfect and even recommended a change to my original design to help with costs that I ended up loving even better.
Can not recommend Green Valley enough!

They did a wonderful job on our yard, our yard was completely overgrown with weeds and it was embarrassing having people over with how bad it was. Hernandez landscaping came out the next day after I contacted them and cleaned everything up for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be recommending them as well as reaching out for any other landscaping needs.

by fare the most expensive company I interviewed and had a bid placed. Wasn't that impressed with how they responded to my design ideas. It was like they really weren't paying attention and offering any questions or ideas, a huge warning flag to me that the work might be questionable.

Hector and the team did a great job on our patio pavers! They came on the day promised, worked hard and completed the project in just ONE day! Sometimes you take a risk with a new company and crew, but I don't regret working with them one bit. I would recommend them to ANY of my family or friends for ANY landscaping or pavers project!
