Just moved into a home in PHX. The backyard needed a serious cleanup so I called DDL. They were excellent from first contact through the work done and final billing. The crew arrived on time and did amazing work. I'm hoping to hire DDL for ongoing maintenance as well as some actual design work in the near future. I highly recommend them!

Valentin and his crew are great! They are very reasonably priced, timely, and do excellent work and clean up. I really did my research before selecting a company to trim/remove some palms in my new house. I'm so happy I went with Valle Verde. I've had them out to the house twice since then, to help repair some sprinklers/ bubblers and to remove and trim bushes. Valentin even took the time to advise me on how to get my grass to grow in, how to use my mower, and was patient while I took notes while he was explaining my sprinkler system to me!! Who else would do that?

Never heard back from them.  I called after contacting them, they told me that they would come out and give me a quote for replacing a driveway.  No follow up.

What an amazing company!  With the the estimate and install, everyone was timely and ready to work.  Such kind people!   I love how it turned out!  Very pleased

Our backyard need a makeover badly. I shopped around and found others but Nick and Co. really took this project on and made it happen. Their communication and customer service was outstanding. He was patient through the entire process, even when we had to change the design. Provided guided feedback and listened to our recommendations. I highly recommend his company and thankful for the service he provided. I secured them to perform our monthly service. If your looking for hardworking individuals and pay attention you to details, look no further.

I called on Monday, Ana came out the same day and did a free estimate.  She had them out here Wednesday morning and they did an incredible job on my yard!!! Super friendly, on time, and it even rained on them and they stayed to get the job done.  Also very hard-working. Absolutely recommend!!!

Really quick response and flexible scheduling. They were right on time and did an exceptional job for a fair price. I will definitely be using them for all my yard maintenance needs.

Our landscaper is friendly and knowledgeable. Always shows when scheduled. Our front and backyard look great! Hired landscapers as a father's day gift. My husband loves the gift that keeps giving!

We had some bad weeds show up after it rained and I wanted them gone.  I found Custom Weed and Pest Control through a quick Google search.  I called them and quickly asked how everything works.  The price was right and they were out a couple of days later.  They treated my front and back yard and that was it.  They came by while I was at work so I didn't even see them.  But, I knew they were there because, within two days, the weeds were starting to die and dry up.  It didn't take long for the rest of them.  

That first treatment lasted a full year.  The next year, around the same time, I called them again and had another treatment.  This time, it lasted about four months before some additional weeds showed up, but I gave them a call and they came back out and treated them again -- no charge, part of their warranty -- and both the front and back yard have been clear since.

If you're like me and you don't want the hassle of pulling or spraying weeds, then give these guys a call and you won't have to worry about it.  They get the job done quickly and efficiently.

On a side note, I don't personally know anyone at CW&PC and they didn't give me or pay me anything for this review.  I just truly appreciate it when a service company does what they say they're going to do and stands by it.  I've dealt with far too many other companies that can't pass muster.

I sent a quote request to a few businesses on yelp and Geronimo responded in a few minutes and came out the next morning for an estimate. He quoted me a very good price, far below any other company. I told him when I was available and he fit it into his schedule. He removed 2 saguaro cactus in my front yard and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Would highly recommend!

This landscaping company is spectacular! They came in about 20% under the other quotes I was given. They showed up when they said they were going to, and made my yards look presentable again. I'm definitely a fan, and will be reaching out again the next time I need landscaping work done. My favorite part is that they listened specifically to what I wanted done for each tree or shrub and did exactly that!

Had them out to clear the back of the property that was filled with Stag horn Chollas and other native desert scrub, as well as several overgrown palo verdes. Came out on a Saturday to provide an estimate and were able to start the work on my schedule. Spent 2 days clearing out the desert and left it better than I had expected. They were very respectful, wore masks, and kept their distance when needed. Would recommend and will use them again for any landscaping needs.

Greenheart did our front lawn in central Phoenix.  Overall it was a very positive experience, we love our yard and many of the best features were ideas direct from Mike.  We bid this out to several contractors over the course of 3 months, and only Mike came up with novel ideas that gave our yard real personality.  We've had a number of neighbors and passersby comment on how nice the yard looks.  Some pros and cons of the experience listed below.

Pros:
- Price was fair.  The quote was broken down in detail, which allowed us to easily evaluate the Greenheart cost vs others.  While their price wasn't the lowest, that was mainly due to our desire to include a paver walkway, some treewells, etc that other bidders hadn't included as options (all Mike's ideas).  
- They weren't pushy about adding anything, the choice was left to us for what we wanted to include/exclude.  Low pressure.
- Mike was very attentive during the design process.  He went and looked at plants with us and had a real passion for the work.
- They provided us with an initial sketch with the bid and a more detailed drawing at the beginning of the project.  This helped with alignment on what the yard was going to look like and what was expected.
- The crew was very respectful and clean when doing the work.

Cons:
- Communication wasn't very strong once the project got started.  There were a number of occasions where I felt like I was relaying info between Irene, Mike, the foreman, and back again.  I felt like I had to be present to make sure the yard was done according to what we wanted/expected.
- The project closeout was poor.  While the main body of work was done quickly, there were a handful of unresolved items that I had to email and text about for a few weeks before they came back to fix them.
- The treatment for the areas that went from grass to rock have a lot of grass coming back up.  This was a concern I expressed at the onset of the project, but I am still spraying Roundup frequently.  I expected to have to continuously treat the rock areas to prevent the growth of grass, but not so soon after the work was completed (grass started popping up in areas about a week after the job and continues to appear).

Been wanting to redo my horrible backyard for several years. Was referred to Turf Monsters by a good friend who had recently used them. His work came out great so I gave them a call. More than pleased with the results. The crew did a great job, great attention to detail and willing to make adjustments on the fly.  Highly recommend you give these guys a call for any landscaping needs. I will include some before and after photos.

I sent my project details for a quote in February and didn't hear back. I followed up a month later and still no response. If you aren't taking on new clients that's perfectly okay, but just communicate and let a person know. That's all.

Cristo and his team are fabulous! They just finished a travertine pool deck for me and they exceeded my expectations. Hard working good guys! I would highly recommend them for any job in your yard as their work was impeccable and finished on time!

Hernandez Landscaping earns a distinction on business wants--it is the most unreliable landscape service I have ever worked with. It started out well a couple of months ago. Raul Hernandez talks a good game and he comes across as so honest. He came over and he was friendly and cooperative, and within a couple of days his men had mowed my lawn. I thought this was going to be a great, long-term relationship, but then things fell apart. To make a long story short, I think that in the two months since, they have done my lawn maybe twice. They are supposed to come  automatically every two weeks, but instead they disappear on me. When I talk to Raul, he is very friendly and promises that his men will come on the day we agree on. Except they don't. At this point my lawn hasn't been mowed for a month and I have a huge problem due to my belief that Hernandez Landscaping had at least a shred of integrity and would finally come.

Stay away from Hernandez Landscaping. They will promise you everything you want in the most sincere of tones and then leave you in the lurch.

Salvador came through as promised and did an excellent job installing the sprinkler system for a side yard project that I have been working on recently.
I appreciate that he offers suggestions and listens to my ideas and concerns. We came up with a good solution for the sod installation. Also, he has been consistent in keeping me updated with dates/times when work will be performed. I did not have to wonder if he was going to show, he scheduled a new appointment when timing changed. That is professional and means a great deal to me.
He also is taking care of my monthly yard maintenance. The crew did not cut my plant watering lines, which was a frequent issue with other yard maintenance crews so I appreciate that very much. He discussed maintaining the lawn areas (watering requirements and fertilizing) which shows a concern to help me maintain the yard properly. The yard is looking good again!
I'm looking forward to working with him long term and can finally keep the yard in decent shape while I focus on other responsibilities

We recently had Hector over to give us an estimate on sod, pavers, & irrigation for our backyard. He called to let me know he would be just a little late for the appointment (which I appreciated) as he was driving from one side of the valley to the other. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We just received the quote and it was very well organized and detailed. Hector has been great about answering all of my questions. We'll be spending a nice chunk of change so it's nice to know they care about your concerns as a customer.
