BV Lawn Care

What I like best about BV Lawn Care is that they show up when they say! I have tried so many who left cards on my door and proceeded to no show me or only come after I chase them. I called Billy because he was reliable last time and he has done that again along with doing a great job. I'm keeping BV monthly now!  Glad to have found him on Yelp!  If you want reliable and a nice job then call or text BV!

TERRIBLE! The second time they came to do yard work after about 15 minutes into being here their 2 young employees continued to weed wack rocks. This resulted in the entire glass door shattering. When approached in entire disbelief that they'd shattered and entire door and just continued to dig up nothing, I got an oh sorry this happens like once a year to top it off they were contacted for overgrown weeds in the middle of a lawn. Not in the rocks. They stated all we brought was a weed whacker, we will return tomorrow. So not only did the job they were contacted for not get done, they broke an entire window AND did not come back the next day as promised. When I reached out to the owner, he too was very nonchalant. They do not care. They'll come to your house, send kids to do the job, shatter thousands of dollars worth of property and leave. And won't pay to replace what they've broken either. I absolutely do not recommend them. I now have a boarded up door that they will not replace and has to come out of pocket. Use another company!!!!!

Hired to do a cleanup service with some hedge clipping and weed removal. Had done to our rental property before moving out. A tad bit pricey but we received our direct deposit back from the rental company and received no fees regarding lawn maintenance.

Still a great company!  I just messaged them on Sunday needing help with my sprinkler system and received a message back right away that they will be here the next morning. Quick service, very professional and knowledgeable.

Did a great job thinning and shaping a very large ficus tree at my home. Price was competitive and responsiveness was impressive.

Loved this companies service. They were very professional and very responsive to any concerns we had. They cut down two big trees that needed to come down and trimmed up all our other trees. I would definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.

Called Billy twice with problems I was having.  Very prompt, fair pricing and great work.

Super fast response time, awesome rates, friendly and quick workers, and great communication! We had a communication misunderstanding, and Billy didn't charge us for extra work they did, just to make it right! They've even come back multiple times after a yard instillation to fertilize and treat the grass. Awesome honest company! You won't be disappointed if you use Billy and his team!

I went back home to visit family for about a month, and when I returned my beautiful yard looked like an absolute jungle. Apparently it rained more days than it didn't when I was gone and I had weeds damn near up to my hip. I had a quarter acre of yard that was infested with these weeds. You couldn't put a ruler on the ground without touching a weed it was so bad. My bushes were over grown, my trees were overgrown and crowding into each other. My yard looked horrible and was honestly taking a big tole on my moral as I wanted to be proud of my yard.

I did my best to fix it on my own, and realized I was WAY out of my element. I called around and got a few quotes. BV Lawn Care wasn't the cheapest quote, but the moment I met Billy I knew who I was going to go with. I felt so confident that Billy and his team were going to deliver and boy did they!

My yard looks OUTSTANDING! It doesn't even look like the same yard anymore. Billy brought an army of guys who worked their butts off to do a great job! I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I couldn't recommend Billy and BV Lawn Care more!

They did a great job in getting my front and backyard ready for my house being put on the market.

I probably have them partially to thank for my house only being on the market for less than a week :)

Overall, they are very reasonably priced and really do well in keeping in contact as they are performing their service.

This is an amendment to my earlier review of one star.
Billy immediately reached out to me after posting the below review explaining that our appointment got lost among many others and as a business owner myself, I can surely understand how that can happen. I had a feeling it was something simple as our previous communication was spot on. Billy came to my home within 20 minutes of calling me and went over all of my needs and answered all questions I had. His company will now be servicing my home on a bi-weekly basis for landscaping as well as doing a couple of other projects. He is personable and made sure to make the slight error right! Thank you Billy!

These guys did a great job. My front landscaping had not been addressed in over a year and everything had grown into itself and you couldn't tell where one piece started and another ended. Within a week they had two guys come out to get me taken care of.

The guys asked me what I wanted to see and I pointed out a few areas I wanted to put attention to but told them they do this all the time so just make it look good. One hour later it was a new house!

Very happy and we will be using these guys going forward on a more regular basis.

They must be in the wrong category as I was looking for yard maintenance. They only deal w/trees, quick clean up with no monthly, weekly services and deal w/irrigation.

Billy and his crew were excellent to work with! They removed 2 raised cement garden beds, a huge palo verde tree and other bushes in our yard. Billy was always quick to respond, easy to schedule with and he and his crew always showed up when they said they would show up! They were also great communicating with us throughout the project and keeping us updated.
I would highly recommend BV Lawn Care for any job, whether it's big or small! It's always nice to find a local company you can count on!

He arrived fast and on time.  He explained to me how he was going repair the broken irrigation tube under my driveway, and he was efficient and knowledgeable about his work.  He also checked to make sure everything was working properly before he put the dirt and gravel back.  Definitely will call again if any other problems occur with my sprinkler system.

Just the best. Billy is so nice, and incredibly responsive. I'm a first time homeowner and know nothing about lawn care or irrigation so it's incredibly important to me to have someone who can communicate in easy to understand ways about what is needed to upkeep my property. He and his staff do an excellent job and Billy never seems to mind my questions or lack of knowledge, and he never leaves me hanging waiting for an answer. Highly recommend them to anyone

I own a number of rental properties in the Phoenix Metro valley, one of them happens to be in San Tan Valley. I live in central Phoenix, thus it is a difficult task to get out to my San Tan Valley property but I knew the front landscaping needed service in preparation for Sale.

I reached out to a number of lawn care companies in the Queen Creek area, Billy was the first to respond and the first to be on site that day to do an estimate. His price came back very competitive and his explanation of the job was very comprehensive. I hired him site unseen and I'm delighted to report he did a outstanding job for me. I would highly recommend BV Lawn Care company for any lawn care needs you might have. It was a pleasure to work with Billy and I will do so again when the need arises.

$600 to trim a tree seems pretty steep. I've received multiple quotes and none of them were that extreme. I've been quoted to do the whole front yard with tree for just a little more than that.
However, very quick response time.

These guys are awesome!  I dropped a request before going to sleep on a Saturday, had a response when I woke up on Sunday, and a walkthrough and quote on my property three hours later.... On a Sunday... During the holidays!  Top notch service.  Had the work done two days later and it turned out excellent.  I can't say enough about Billy and his team.  Place looks great, and I have a new go to team for all of my needs.  Finally, the last bit of stucco work on the irrigation control needed to cure so I figured after the holiday it would be done, nope, today on new years day they finished out.  Do not hesitate to call BV, they will handle it professionally and promptly.  I am beyond impressed.

Absolutely the best first-time service I've received in my 20 yrs owning my home. And let me tell you why..
First of all, I am recently disabled and with the recent rains, the weeds grew too tall and fast to the city's liking. (I wanted to wait out post-rainishly). Billy of BV Lawn Care fitted me in almost immediately! (1+ week wait everywhere-Cov19 ya know)

Called Billy after two other companies could not or would not take the time to listen and then resolve the issue.  Billy was thorough and ultimately an easy fix.   Would have saved a lot of time if I called BV first.  Highly recommend.

I needed a huge tree to be cut down and trimmed in my backyard that was getting out of control. Looked around a few places, but Billy was the only one who got back to me right away with a response and a clear estimate. He was engaged in wanting my business, everything was straight forward, no hassle. Sent him a few pics of what needed to be done and he was out within two days to work on the job, no delays. Tree looks great, no mess or debris left behind. Billy was very professional in his work. I highly recommend BV Lawn Care for any landscaping or tree cutting projects!

So happy with my experience with BV Lawncare. Put in my request for my quote and got such a quick response and they got me on their schedule faster than I expected. I used BV Lawncare based on yelp reviews.  In the time I contracted with them they were never once able to show up in time (except the initial appt).  Each visit was delayed for one reason or another.  The primary reason I am posting this review it the text I received from Billy after letting his crew know not to come by.  He indicated I was being rude to his crew and that they work very hard.  I had never once been rude to his crew, other than letting them know not to come back.  I think Billy forgot a component of being in the service industry, your customer.  He is maximizing for his employees, not his customers.

Just had a one time yard cleanup done and our home looks amazing. We had trees and shrubbery trimmed and shaped and they look perfect. The workers were very friendly when I greeted them. The best part is that I was able to do the whole transaction via text and email. The whole reason I needed the help with the yard was due to how busy I am with work and Billy and crew made the whole transaction seamless. When we sell our home (the reason for the yard cleanup) we will be using them for regular maintenance.  I'd give 10 stars if I could.

So I requested a quote from
Yelp,  and got a fast response. Someone came out when we arranged to do repair to the drips lines which I stated in the request were under pavers. The one repair I had already pulled pavers up and exposed myself so pretty simple job, but to properly repair the pavers is why I wanted a professional. I was in the process of selling and have people coming to look at the house in a few hours which I expressed to him. He agreed he could make the repairs to both and would charge $75 per. I said ok great. Later he said he should probably only repair the one since people were coming he didn't want the path to be dug up, and I agreed just fix the one. Once complete he said he was done and I went to inspect. The hole was still there with a couple pavers manually placed in the spot, and I asked why he didn't fix it proper. He said we don't do pavers and I said why didn't you tell me that in the first place. I cut him a check and told him to leave. Later I thought this was just not right thinking he might feel the same, so I sent him a message on yelp and said I think he charged too much and misrepresented his service. He wrote back and said no sir you agreed to the cost. Guy was nice enough but seems very shady when I think back in it now. I would not recommend this company for anything st this point. If he has just come back and said hey I'm sorry you felt I was going to repair the pavers, let's work a cost that works for both, I would have been ok. His response was just unprofessional and rude.

We had clear conversations before the repair about the pavers, and how I needed them put back I place before the people coming out to see the house arrived. You agreed to do this, and you even said I will do my best to get them back and level I said I need it to look good enough, and you never once mentioned at the time hey sir we don't do pavers the second leak was not uncovered and you agreed to fix that and have it back in place before the potential buyers arrived. You were completely dishonest and misrepresented what services you provided. Your response is completely wrong and you're honestly just a used car salesman.

Good job, well done and in a timely manner. Some confusion and delay, but an appropriate discount was provided. I will use them again.

I found BV Lawn Care, after getting several quotes, in addition to one other 5-star rated business on Yelp. From the first time I spoke to Billy, I had a favorable impression of his cheerful responsiveness. I was actually pretty happy with the quote I received from a certified arborist, who showed up first to quote me on the trimming of a mesquite tree in my backyard.  In addition to the mesquite tree trim, I also wanted some trees removed, along with having new ones planted. In addition to my primary residence, I also had a more substantive project readying a rental house in Queen Creek for sale. The backyard was in dire straits, and required immediate appeal by having new sod and grass installed, and the entire irrigation system repaired to sustain the new grass.

Among the other quotes, the certified arborist wasn't able to handle the entirety of the project scopes I was looking to complete, aside from tree removal. Another 5-star rated Yelp business also didn't stand up to the test of reasonable pricing, and was not the most professional either. After receiving a late evening phone response about the pricing for the sod and grass installation (with audible screaming kids in the background), I was actually advised that many people nowadays don't even want new grass placed in their backyard - you'd be surprised how many people are upset at having grass when they don't want it. He suggested I consider putting the house on the market as-is. While there might have been merit in this statement, the lack of professionalism and attitude of 'Meh, I don't need your business' rather than 'What can I do to meet your needs?' was one that I did not care as much for.

This is where Billy stepped in. From the moment I met Billy, he was punctual, professional, upbeat, super friendly and enthusiastic about wanting to earn my business, by proving himself through his work to make this the best possible experience for me. As the owner of the business, he recognized the need to prove himself first to gain my trust as a first time customer. He cut me a truly awesome deal that encompassed both my home and rental house in Queen Creek. I was hesitant, but it was difficult to turn down what he had offered me. And boy am I glad I shook hands with him and decided to give him a shot! For me and my husband, it's safe to say that I will always be going back to BV Lawn Care for all our lawncare needs!

Billy and his crew did an AMAZING job with both projects. In particular, the house in Queen Creek that we put on sale. The transformation of that house was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Even my real estate agent remarked that the landscaping was what really sold the house, and asked for Billy's information, wanting to use him for his own projects!

Billy and his crew worked quickly to make sure we didn't waste any time readying the house to be placed on the market. Billy really put his best foot forward with us by working around the clock so we could have the house on the market by the weekend. And yes, Billy stays plenty busy already with plenty of other jobs, but he still put our needs first and delivered top-notch work!  The end result? We had a bid for a sale contract on that house that VERY SAME WEEKEND (in just 2 days!), and I honestly attribute it to the clean-up job he did. I will let the pictures tell its own story. He truly went above and beyond, communicating with me and my husband every step of the way, so that we understood exactly what was going on, what needed to be done. And he really took care of us with our timeline, at a very reasonable cost! There are many other little bits of fixes that he did at no charge to help earn our trust in him as a first time customer. I'll say: I'm SOLD! :)

I've also posted some pictures of the job he did at our home, to showcase the mesquite tree trim, and palm tree stripping that he did. It really opened up our backyard, and made it feel brighter and bigger.  We could not be more happy with his work! He went above and beyond and helped us procure some river rock to place over the planters in our pool too, as the dirt from the planters kept blowing into the pool, that caused the filters to clog up incessantly.

Billy and the team were very easy to work with and I received a response from Billy the same day I requested a quote.  His team was out the same week to do a full front/backyard clean up and plant winter ryegrass. His guys did a great job and I will continue to use their team for biweekly services.

Great customer service. They came right away and gave me a quote for trimming my trees and he even went above and beyond and showed me where my timer was and showed me that one of the trees is not getting any water. He didn't have to do that but he took time to explain to me how and why they would do the things he felt needed to be done. Highly recommend!

Had excellent service from Billy and his team.  Always arrived on schedule, did a good job and his crew was friendly and polite.  Pleasure to work with.

Billy is professional and always communicates. Communication is key for me and it is something Billy does very well. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule in preparation for winter grass and it was much appreciated. He did a great job trimming all my trees and bushes not leaving a mess. I have an extra large yard and he did a great job. He was also conscious of my pool and tried not to get clipping into it. That is something I would do and I was glad he did it without me even asking. Very polite and courteous. His prices were also great. I will keep using him to service my yard from now on. Maybe I can post some pics after my winter grass comes out. More to come.

If I could give then fewer starts I would.  We just moved in and I had them do the first clean up of my property.  They destroyed my bushes,  they were uneven and not even the same size. There was trash in my front yard. They picked up all grass they cut but worked around the trash. They literally worked around the trash and left it outside.  We had LED lights in the front,  before they started to work one light was knocked down. When they were finished all 6 were knocked down and broken.  When we messaged them about it they sent a video of the one light that was knocked down.  When we showed pictures of all the lights broken they stopped replying.

In the month that I had this company do my yard I asked 3 times to have two big bushes cut down to start over. Did not happen. After paying $500 to have the entire yard taken care of they wanted to charge extra to have the two bushes cut to the requested size that they had initially said they would. Then after they didn't do it I called and spoke to their rep who visited us and he said that they were really short handed and asked if we could wait until the next maintenance visit to which I agreed. Next maintenance visit is when they said it would cost extra to have the two big bushes cut to the size that we asked initially. I called the rep that I had met with, only to be sent to voicemail, and I asked him to call me back. This call was placed at 3:27 in the afternoon and was never returned. My girlfriend received a message via Yelp at 10:11 pm stating...

Hey hope your day was going great. My guys got to your house today and I didn't realize that your bushes were 8 feet tall and there was 10 of them and you wanted some of them removed your initial cleanup for $500 did not include this if they were 3 ft tall and they need to be cut in half then we would do that we still would charge extra for it but since I told you we would do it for free we would have done it for free but since they're 8 ft tall and 10 of them it would take over 3 hours to cut them and if I have three men out there it's over $70 just to have the men there your initial service did not include this. We want to do a good job for you but in order to do what you want it's going to cost me $200  just to have my guys out there with dumping, chains,gas excetra.  we charge to do stuff like that. I can send them back on Wednesday and they can cut that one Bush and half for you for free that's by Please email me through Billy

I did call him back after my girlfriend received said message @ 10:11 pm, which you just read, I was a bit upset, but was not rude at all. I did say that if this wasn't fixed that I would fire them to which the response was an F bomb laden retort telling me that he wasn't going to work on our lawn any further. (That is how I understood it anyway.)

To end the drama he sent a text telling me, and I quote I have pictures of your bushes if you call me ever again I will call the police on you. end quote.

We had a mesquite tree taken down by Billy and his team and we were absolutely impressed on how quickly they took it down and the cleanup afterwards.
Billy is very courteous and prompt when responding to any issues or problems that arose.  We will definitely use them again. Thank you again Billy. Your team rocks.

Asked them to stop by for a quote the owner came out same day and fixed a irrigation line (on a Saturday) and two days later we were on the by monthly schedule for lawn maintenance.  Very respectful and did exactly what they said the would do!

I recently bought a house and the landscaping was very over-grown. Billy and his crew did a fabulous job with my yard. It looks beautiful! They took the time to explain what certain plants were and how they grew and let me know what they were doing to make sure it's what I wanted. Thank you again for doing such a great job!

As I rely on Yelp ratings when picking a service provider  - my first call was to BV given their glowing reviews.  From start to finish - all interactions were excellent.  Billy got someone out promptly to provide an estimate - the price was very reasonable in my opinion.  Most appreciated was the fact that Billy/Cory were able to work me into the schedule quickly as my needs were time sensitive.  The crew showed up on time and were professional x10 - my project scope was full yard cleanup (trimming everything that the extreme heat allows, removing all the leaves/petal debris, remove a dead tree, planting a few new plants, etc).  

Further illustrating Billy's commitment to customer satisfaction/excellence - there was a minor issue with the removed tree (hidden drip line that was causing pooled water / and a low spot) - I called Billy and he had these items corrected the very next morning.  

Everything looks nicely manicured and tidy now - two thumbs up!  Would not hesitate to use Billy and his excellent team again; and would refer them to anyone looking for quality / reliable service at a fair price.  (Added bonus - every single person working for BV was SUPER nice/polite, and clearly committed to exception service/quality of work).

We could not be anymore impressed with Billy and his team! This man is a serious leader and one who cares about his product as well as his customer! His team arrived first thing in the morning to do an amazing yard transformation for us in the front and backyard! We had HUGE mature trees hanging over all of our neighbors fences into their yard, and Billy's team made sure to keep everything contained to our yard for easy clean up! The whole team was unbelievably friendly and loving on our dogs whenever they had to go outside to use the potty! Thank you Billy for making a new house into our forever home!!!

We had a great experience with BV lawn! I called several companies in the valley and they were the only one to return my call. They were responsive and very professional! They removed palm trees from our backyard and did a fantastic job. We will absolutely be using them in the future.

Billy came over on Christmas Eve to give us a quote on some yard work we want done. We appreciate him coming over on short notice.

What's not to like? They responded quickly with a quote to take down a dead tree. Showed a bit of flexibility on the cost. Provided a short turn-around schedue of 48 hours. Showed up on time. Took the tree down safely. Fixed a drip line they accidentally snipped. Cleaned up after themselves. And did it all with a friendly smile. Of course, I would hire these guys again.

Billy and his crew did a great job on my yard.  Billy has a great attitude and was a pleasure to deal with.  His prices are very reasonable.

I can not give Billy and BV Lawn enough praise.  Excellent communication, quick in responding to our questions and was reasonably priced. They trimmed four of our trees and did a beautiful job. When they were finished they did not leave a mess.  We will definitely use them again!

Billy was very easy to work with- I received a response from Billy even after hours.  He was out the next morning to give me a very fairly priced quote for 11 palm trees that needed to be trimmed. He had the work scheduled for first thing the following week.  His guys did a great job of cleaning up after the trimming. I plan on using BV again and would recommend to others.

We hired this company to keep up our lawn and weeds on a bi weekly basis. Dealing with Billy has been nothing but a nightmare. He is incredibly nice, but is very unorganized and unreliable. His crew repeatedly showed up on the wrong days to do the lawn service for the first month we worked with him. Once this got straightened out, the crew started missing areas that were supposed to be serviced. They also damaged our custom Built playground structure in our backyard. We asked for it to be edged around the structure and they caused big, deep scratches along the base of the structure. When this was brought to his attention, he basically told us we asked for it to be edged, so we have to expect for it to be scratched. He did recommend using a weed killer around the base. The weird thing about this is, the very first time we got our yard cleaned up and mowed, they edged this area beautifully without any damage being done. This last time they didn't mow along our irrigation canal, which has been done every other time and was part of the agreed upon scope of work.  When we brought this to Billy's attention he simply dropped us as clients. We had pre paid for the service and part of the work didn't get done, so now my husband has to mow the missed parts, even though it was paid for. We have had repeated issues with this company and Billy simply didn't want to make it right or be held responsible for mistakes that were made or services not performed. I hardly ever write reviews, but couldn't not write this one. People should be aware before hiring this company. According to billy in his reply there were dog messes, which is NOT true. We are human, and may have missed one or two here or there, however, there were not over 100. What a dramatic explanation!!! Also, his crew came on Thursdays instead of Friday's for 2 services in a row. He could never give us a window for when his crew would show up and expected us to keep our dogs locked up all day waiting on his crew. Just ridiculous.

Super impressed with Billy and his team. They removed the ugliest tree from my yard and trimmed another tree. They were quick and did a great job with clean up afterwards. They even disposed of part of the ugly tree that I had cut down myself. I'll call them again for future tree care.

Good communication from Billy. A very fast & efficient crew of 3 showed up & did a great job.

We called Billy to check our drip system and to trim our fruit trees. He responded very quickly to our request. He made an appointment for a few days later & showed up promptly on time. He checked our system & found the issue. Since we are in a new home and under warranty, we did not have him fix it.  He also said we should wait another 4-6 weeks to trim our fruit trees due to the weather. We appreciated that he didn't just trim them now since the time was wrong. We had our builder come out and supposedly fix the issue.  I wanted to make sure it was done correctly so I called Billy & asked him if we would come back & check it out. Again he showed up right on time. Thank goodness we did because it wasn't fixed.  So i have to call the builder again.  And he didn't even charge for this follow up call.  He is a very personable young man and very honest. I would recommend him for your landscaping needs and problems.

I scheduled a visit for an estimate with Cory Weaver. I had been in contact with him via email previously. He sets the standard for professionalism, and I was correct after meeting him.
