I was looking for a plumber to help me find out the source of a leak in my apartment that was causing the downstairs apartment to periodically get water dripping down from their ceiling. I called a lot of plumbers, but Pat from Drain-EEZ was able to be there the next morning (a SATURDAY) with no extra charge for the weekend call.
He diagnosed the problem and was back soon to open up the wall and help me figure out what to do next.
It was great to find a plumber that is honest and not trying to jack up his bill with unnecessary repairs. I definitely have found my plumber for all my repairs in the future!

Mac was very prompt in taking care of water heater needs. Our water heater went out on us and Mac was able to remove the old one and install a new one within a couple hours from 1st contact. He was very warm and kind with my family in my absence. Great service with a smile.

Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.

I was replacing a ceiling fan in my kitchen and discovered a live gas line in my ceiling (a holdover from gas lamps; my house was built in 1913). Jake and Tyler were able to come out a few days after the estimate, disconnect the gaslight lines, reroute the good lines, and vacuum the gas out of the old ones - all done quickly, and at a decent price. Great work and a great timeline. They started at 8 AM and were done by 10:30. Would definitely recommend and would call Rocket again. Thanks, guys!

They are responsive, prompt, reliable, and thorough. I needed someone to look at a leak, and they called me back right away. They then set up an appointment for the next day, and they arrived when they said they were going to arrive. When looking for the source of the leak, David and his partner were thorough. They found the source within minutes. David was also very clear on what my next steps should be. They also did not charge me for their assessment.

From start to finish, they had awesome communication. The prices were very fair for plumbing services. And quickly and professionally fixed our issue with a wonky faucet.

As usual, I wait until the last second to do any home repairs and this was no exception. I had the day off the next day and hoped to get some work done. I was recommended Sound Plumbing and I couldn't be happier. Kevin was incredibly helpful and gave me a good, better, best scenarios for the job we asked of him. Unbelievably professional, and they did the work thoroughly, explained every step of the way, and were cordial the entire time they were here. Very competitive pricing, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to get some pipe work done.

Wax ring looked like it was failing and I live in a vintage condo on the third floor. Called up J Sewer in the middle of a Saturday with lousy weather. They were able to get someone here in three hours.

Plumber was great. He was friendly and professional. He replaced the ring and left everything cleaner than when he walked in. It was our only toilet and we really appreciated the quick service. Would use again and would recommend.

Kevin from Green Tech has a laid back, friendly, interpersonal style, but he is very honest and professional. We needed some work done on our sump pump backup system. Kevin came out and gave a free estimate, suggested we first try replacing a fuse in case we were lucky enough that it was causing the problem, and even came out and replaced the fuse for free when we couldn't figure it out. We ended up needing a new backup system after all, but he was very thorough in explaining options and absolutely did not pressure us. He noted a few other things that were done incorrectly by other plumbers, but when I asked about fixing them he recommended we just keep an eye on it and not to waste money if it wasn't going to cause problems. They did a great job installing the sump pump backup, and were even flexible with a payment plan for us.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line.This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

Adam was courteous and responsive.  He came late on Halloween night and had to return In the morning to finish the job.  He was able to recognize that the leak in my sink cased water damage to my home and recommended a water restoration company.  He worked clean and professionally.  Kept this number in case!!!

We needed an outlet installed for our oven. Darrell responded to my call and came out to take a look at what needed to be done the same day. The following day Dino and Eli came out and installed the outlet for us. Everyone was so friendly and informative of what they were doing. Everything was done quickly and with care.

Trust! I think trust is most important in choosing an expert to fix a problem. Of course experience, knowledge, ability and integrity are also needed. But trusting the reviews written by others or trusting the recommendation of a friend is sometimes all we have to go by. I had a clogged drain about 15 feet downstream from my kitchen sink. It was the result of overzealous use of the garbage disposal. I tried snaking the drain myself but the clog was too big (turns out about 2 feet of drain was totally blocked). I did research on several websites looking for a plumber in my area who I could trust to do the work right - at a fair price. I narrowed the list to 4 companies. At 7:15 PM on a weekday I called each of them. I got two answering services that could not answer any of my technical questions, another said they would have someone call me back in a few minutes (never happened) and then there was Dmitry. Dmitry is one of the owners of CJ Plumbing. He answered the phone himself. He was able to discuss my issue intelligently, explain the likely scenarios and give me an estimated price range (min and max) for the job. It was clear from his questions and his input that he understood the problem and knew the likely solutions. As it turns out, he was absolutely correct about the issue and what it would take to fix it. I wanted to consider what he said before making a commitment. He said I could call him back anytime in the next few hours. I called several hours later and again he answered the phone and we scheduled a visit for the following afternoon.

The plumber who showed up (not the person I spoke to) was a delight to work with. He was professional, polite, and patient as he answered my many questions. He tried a few easy options to fix the problem (e.g. using a powered drain snake). When those did not work he said the best option was to cut out the clogged section of drain (which he had located) and replace it with a new section of pipe. The clogged part of the pipe included two 90 degree bends. He removed that section and replaced the sharp bends with pairs of 45 degree bends to allow waste to pass through the more easily. The drain pipe ran along the ceiling of my unfinished basement so there was direct access to the pipe. After replacing the section of pipe he verified that there were no leaks and cleaned up the area of the basement where he worked as well as the area under the kitchen sink. He even cleaned the sink.  

I was VERY pleased with his work and with his personality. The cost of the repair was within the range quoted on the phone (though near the higher end). My trust in CJ Plumbing was rewarded by their performance and their honesty. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and family. I recommend them to YOU.

We love Mike The Plumber and highly recommend him.  He just assisted us with two small plumbing problems at our new house in Rogers Park.  He was so pleasant to work with, fixed the issues quickly, fixed a few other issues in the process, recommended some changes, and was so reasonable in his price.   He also loves dogs, and took time to pet and play with our two pups in the back yard.  Mike is now our go to plumber, and I suspect our pups will be trying to clog our pipes so that Mike gets a call to come back.

Juan is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the noisy running toilet and replace kitchen faucet for me. He can response quickly with quote based on pictures and videos, and take care of everything. Highly recommended!

Noel came through and saved our ass --  in spite of poor communication on our end. We needed him at a specific time on a specific day in order to finish install of a new countertop and backsplash by a less than reliable supplier.   He was at the top of his game when none of the rest of us were.
