Pat was great!!  First: He Actually Answers the Phone!!.  So nice to hear a voice and get questions answered right away.  He came the next day and re-did the kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal.
He also fixed the upstairs faucet as well.

Mac is GREAT. My husband called him Sunday evening when his multiple attempts to relight the furnace failed. Mac diagnosed the problem over the phone and arrived Monday morning with a new furnace. Within an hour, mac and his partner had the new furnace installed and I was off to work. Couldn't have asked for a better service call!!

They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. I am very pleased with the service  and cost from Scotty's Plumbing. He waited for me to get home from work without rescheduling. Went to  get additional connection hoses that would work for my kitchen faucet replacement, and fixed a pipe with a large hole, all for less than his initial estimate. Highly recommend. Will be my first  call for any other plumbing issues.

The amount of money the company charges for a clogged drain is inappropriate and honestly ridiculous. 389 dollars for a clogged floor drain that took 30 minutes. After asking for a discount I got it down to 319 which come to find out there are coupon discounts on their website for 79-so not even the full coupon discount. Then add on the 3% charge they add on for credit card use.
This company also installed my tankless water heater and put it so close to the wall, we were unable to get the serial number off the machine without taking it completely off the wall when I had a leak.
If I was not in a time crunch, I would have done my research and got more quotes. There should be no reason you charge near 400 dollars for a 30 minute snaked drain.  I would avoid the company.

Update: I had originally given a lower star. But the owner did get in touch with me and adjust the price to a price that was much more reasonable.  He was very nice and you can tell he cares.

Needed a semi-urgent sump pump repair. The team did an awesome job. Very easy to schedule, came quickly and on-time. After an inspection they gave me an estimate and completed the job the same day. The result looks professional and well-done and the team was courteous, professional and knowledgeable.

Quick service, good communication, reasonable pricing, very nice people (both on site and in the office). I hope I don't need to call them again soon but if I need plumbing service, these are the guys I'm calling.

Sound Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing a toilet. They worked around my schedule. Mitch was fantastic and extremely professional. When I ordered the incorrect toilet he went back across town to get the correct one and didn't even charge me double for the extra delivery. Will be using Sound Plumbing for all future projects.

My friend recommended J sewer and drain plumbing, as she had recently had some plumbing issues and could not have been more pleased with the work that they did. Based on her recommendation, we called them and not only were they able to come the same day but they were actually a little early. The two gentlemen that did the work were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Additionally, in light of Covid, they were also very responsible and wore masks and gloves to put our minds at ease.
I would definitely use them again!!

Called Green Tech for trouble with a boiler. They came first thing in the morning, solved the problem in less than 15 minutes, and refused to charge me. Kevin, the owner followed up with me during the day to make sure the problem was solved. This is an amazing company with outstanding people. Call them right now.

This was the 3rd plumbing company to come to our house in 24 hours to address some awful backup in our basement. They totally saved the day and got us flowing properly again. Will definitely recommend and be our first call in the future. Thanks, Mike!

Brandon did a great job in fixing my shower head that had been broken for over a year. They were at my condo within an hour of calling and fixed the problem in just a few minutes. Will be calling them back to install my toilet. Would highly recommend!

Darrell showed up on short notice and managed to install our new pendant lights. The lights were on a 16' ceiling above a counter. He managed to install them using a 12' ladder on top of the counter, which was impressive. He was efficient as well and did a great job. Also, followed COVID protocol which we appreciated.

The plumber was on time, he was courteous and even covered his boots with booties so as not to track into our house. He took pictures of the work and showed it to me when the job was finished. The internet said the job would take a few hours, he was done in 40 minutes. He cleaned up nicely. You wouldn't even know he had been there.  
So far, the repair of our toilet has held up and I expect it will. Should we need a plumber again, ABV will be our first call.

I have a tenant in Rogers Park and needed someone who would be able to go to the tenant and take care of a clogged sink. (I do not live near enough to be able to head over on short notice myself.) Mike responded to my request almost immediately, we talked on the phone and I provided him with all the information I thought would be helpful. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule an appointment with my tenant and handle everything that needed to be done. The job was not too small for him! So grateful that he was able to come out and handle this for me and quickly! My tenant said that Mike was an awesome dude and everything is now running smoothly. We both greatly appreciate his service!

These guys are what customer service should be. In Chicago right now it's colder than a polar bear's a**. My water heater decided to not stay lit so I can have hot water during the coldest days. I have American Home Shield, but they haven't scheduled my service within 24hours so that will be a different review. However, I sent a message on Yelp and this was the second company to respond. I didn't like the first company's set up. I hate paying for people to just come out so I went with this company. There wasn't a negative review to be found, and I can see why. They are quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. It's hard to find good help. I will use them again; hopefully no time soon, and recommend them as well. When I like you, I'll support your business.
