Spent 2 minutes on the phone with them, and they and got my garbage disposal working again. No fees, pure courtesy. I will always keep Drain-EEZ on the top of my list for any future work big or small. Real nice and friendly people who are not out to make a buck on you.

We've used Mac twice and he's been great!  Our old water heater started leaking everywhere on a Sunday morning a few months ago. We called Mac after finding him on yelp and he came out the same day to replace it.  He was friendly, quick, and reasonably priced.  Then a few days ago, we found water on the ground again in our mechanical room.  We called Mac again (around 6:30pm on a weekday), and he showed up within an hour.  We thought it was the water heater, but turns out our condensation line on our A/C broke.  He fixed it quickly and charged us a very reasonable price again.  Highly recommend!

I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.

All and all, no complaints, would highly recommend him.

Our building is extremely strict about which businesses it approves for work.  They have a short list of approved plumbers, and judging by the level of service from those plumbers, they all know it. So I took it upon myself to deepen the pool of approved and recommended plumbers.

If you search for plumber near 60614 Rocket won't be at the top of the list for some reason. So I called other plumbers first. The first plumber gave me an estimate of $975 for the work, and was extremely flexible about scheduling. The second plumber wouldn't be able to do the work at least not until sometime next week. I called back the first plumber I called and asked for a breakdown of the proposed bill, and $250 of it was for extra insurance. They had already told me they were insured, and weren't going to tell me they needed extra insurance until I pressed them about the extra fees on top of the parts and labor. I told them I wasn't paying for extra insurance, and they told me Then we can't do the work.

Then I called Rocket Plumbing. Anthony came out within a couple of hours to do the estimate, and gave us a complete inspection of all our plumbing at the same time. We knew already that some of the work done by a building approved plumber was shoddy and incomplete, and Anthony offered to fix it for free. I wouldn't call Rocket expecting free plumbing based on my review, but that's what happened in our case. Anyway, he was also very flexible about scheduling since our building requires that work to start within a one hour window in the morning, he showed up on time with the appropriate parts, did the work flawlessly and professionally, and the final bill was $585. Actually, there was a part we didn't know needed replacing before the work, so he had to run out and get it, but he didn't charge us for the transportation. He approved the extra purchase and extra labor before doing it. It was about $85 extra, and that's what brought the bill up to $585 ... vs the $975 quoted by the other plumber.

I realize all plumbers can get busy and not have appointments available this week and some plumbers just coincidentally have a light work load and can be flexible. I wouldn't take stars off for that. But in our experience, Rocket truly went above and beyond, and I'll be pushing our building to put them on the recommended list.

Another plumber that dropped the ball on getting back to me and organizing the time to go out.  Another plumber who wants to assume work is required without doing the basic problem solving beforehand.

I rarely write reviews but i felt Windy City Plumbing deserved that I share my experience with their service. There is a saying, when it rains, it pours and this was very true in my case. A few weeks ago, I called a plumber to rod out the stairwell drain. What I thought was a clogged drained turned out to be a huge broken pipe that ran underneath the foundation from the exterior into my basement. I had contacted several different plumbers for estimates and Jose was the plumber I felt most comfortable with. I normally contact contractors that are referred but this time I found Jose randomly. I can say I was fortunate to have found this very professional and thoughtful person, Jose. The cost and the work that was needed to open the foundation was extremely stressful. To add to the stress, I had just learned that my mom was terminally ill while dealing with the major repairs at home. Jose was not aware of my personal problem. He only knew from one of his employees that they had seen me emotional. Jose had given me the quote for the work that needed to be done which I had agreed to paying. The work that Jose and his staff did turned out to be more than they had expected. Not only did Jose not charge me more for the extended labor but he charged me less than the price we had agreed on because Jose said he had learned from one of his employees that they had seen me very stressed and hoped this could help me. Jose nor his employees knew of my mom's illness. I am beyond grateful for the work and their kindness. It is rare to find this type of exceptional service. I have become a loyal client of Windy City Plumbing and will refer Jose and his company to all my friends and family.  I believe in Karma and Jose's kind act will bring him continued success.

I had a small gas leak that required attention right away and First Chicago saved the day! They gave me a quote via Yelp very quickly and were able to come out the same day. Very reasonable price compared to other estimates and the work was done quickly and well. They assured me that if the leak was still there when the gas was turned back on they would come back for free to address it, but there was no need. Nicor turned the gas back on and the repair did the trick. Thank you First Chicago!

I called very last minute and Kevin and his partner had no problem making time for me even though it was well into their day. I really appreciated it. They did great work and were both super professional. I highly recommend them.

I am writing this review almost 2 months late. We Yelper's are quick to give a bad review and lag to give a good one but I am looking to change that. My sump pump went out on a weeknight. I called J Sewer & Drain at 10pm with no expectations to actually speak to a person at that time of the night. A gentleman by the name of Eric was able to assit me and get me set up with a replacement the next morning. I was off at work the next morning but my wife saw that the work be completed. Nothing but good remarks from the wife. The work looked to be professionally done as I had hoped. Reasonable pricing and very accomodating to last-minute needs. Definitely Recommend.

Couldn't rate these folks higher.  Had them come out to re-install a dryer gas shut off valve that was behind a wall, and he was very skilled at minimally cutting our wall only where necessary to re-install the valve in a more accessible space.
He also went above and behind and helped install the dryer vent, which was in an inconvenient space and wouldn't otherwise been able to be completed without his help.
Highly recommended.  Go with these professionals.

Never calling another plumber. These guys were outstanding...an amazing crew from start to finish! Danny and his team were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We called late Monday night because our basement drains were backing up. They were out the next afternoon and after diagnosing the issue walked us through our options and never made us feel pressured to go one way or another. Great communication from start to finish and they took us through every step as they were performing their work. True professionals! We've used some pretty crappy plumbers in the past and we've used some pretty average plumbers. We've found our forever plumbers! These guys are the best. Do yourself a favor and give them a call...unless of course you'd rather risk being dissatisfied?!? You da' man, Danny...thanks again!!!

This group has been responsive and their work is very good! Prices are reasonable and they genuinely care about making sure a job is done right.

Sims and Sons quickly became my go-to guys for any and all electrical and plumbing needs! They do great work that's built to last which has been proven every time I use them. Excellent service. Plumber went to store to pick up new kitchen faucet and installed after diagnosing issue. Can't imagine better service.  Will call them again for any future plumbing needs.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

Spoke with Mike over the phone and he gave me some DIY advice on some of the trouble I had with my old faucet. Though, I didn't feel comfortable changing the faucet myself as the pipes I had were old, I decided to have him come over and do it. During the process, I was able to watch and he answered all the questions I had about what he was doing and he answered all the general plumbing questions I had. I would highly recommend him as he's very knowledgable and patient.

We had a leaking garbage disposal that we found out about on a Friday night. Juan came out the very next day and replaced it for me at a very reasonable price. He also fixed a p trap that was about to leak with some spare parts that he had in his truck.

On top of that he also gave me some great advice on some other plumbing projects that I'm working on.

We have used Noel at Five Plumbing multiple times and he always does a great job.  He is an excellent plumber and is very conscientious, reliable, and fair.  Noel just replaced our sump pumps and and did a great job.  He came out right away and we are very pleased with the work he did.  Highly recommend.
