Our hot water heater was leaking bad and it was a Sunday! Luckily for us, there is Yelp and even more fortuitous-we called Fastplumbing247. Mac was responsive, articulate and quick to diagnose. He arrived at our house within an hour with a new hot water heater like Superman to the rescue. How special to have such a high quality experience and with such a kind and competent gentleman to boot. On the week-end yet.
We are so appreciative and still feel great about the experience. Mac is a breath of fresh air and my hero.

I did not want to leave a review like this. After dealing with chains like Roto Rooter, we called Rescue because it advertises itself as a family run business. Javier is a very nice man, but he came and unclogged our ejector pump and recommended we replace it after 3 years, which we did. There was a small clog, the size of a softball. And he recommended we switch toilet paper. He guaranteed we would have no more problems in that department. Five days later, we had problems again. He came back and had to go back into the pump pit, and told me he had to charge me, again, for that. $400+ after spending $3k days before. He asked his son to go to the truck and get a garbage bag. He then showed me the clogged items, as he did the first time he came, but the second time it was somehow an arm-sized, thick rope. We had barely used the toilets downstairs in those days between visits because we were worried about frozen pipes during the freezing weather the week of the storm. It was very easy to negotiate him down from his original price when I mentioned those  concerns. He said the company has no service fee so I paid the minimum of $250, per his directive, which is what he said they charge for a clogged toilet. I do not want to make accusations, but the more we talk about it in our house, knowing our plumbing history and the precautions we took between visits, I felt like I had to leave a review.

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

We had a flooding issue in our building a few days ago due to clogged pipes.  Donnie B. came out and did a great job with rodding out our pipes and resolved our issues.  Very professional and obviously takes pride in what he does.  Then he went above and beyond in helping us fix another unrelated issue while he was here, which we really appreciated!

Very quick and responsive.  Dave took the time to explain everything he was doing and answered all the questions we had.  He made sure he identified the problem and once identified, had a systematic plan of attack to resolve it.  I really liked how he explored all options to fix the issue without having to break open any walls or remove the toilet.  Other companies wanted to break open walls right away.  I definitely recommend working with Dave and will use them for routine maintenance services too!!

I loved my experience with Windy City Plumbing. I asked for an online quote and got a reply right away. Jose accommodated my schedule and arrived on time.  I had a problem with my tub draining very slow and all the diy were not working.   Jose and Julio arrived and started work right away.  Not only did they fix my drain,  but they also gave me info about my house plumbing, fixed my slow flush toilet and answered questions that I had (new toilet in basement, which drain leads to what, etc.)  I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking.  I loved the price too! I was expecting an arm and a leg price since I have never dealt with plumbing before but I was very happy.

Fast response time. Efficient repair work. Friendly technician who explained the steps he was taking. All in all a great service call.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line.This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

The person that came was incompetent, rude, and unwilling to accept that he was doing the job wrong. Paid him in full but I probably should not have. I can deal with rudeness, incompetence is not acceptable

I've had a recurring problem with an outdoor spigot that needed to be replaced, but was complicated to do as the pipes were buried behind the dry wall and spray insulation.  Zeno (sp?) was great - he worked to find where the pipes fed from, making sure to limit the amount of dry wall that had to be cut through.  He identified a way to install a cut off valve that did not previously exist and provided me with an access panel.  He was great about explaining to me what he was doing, keeping me informed on his schedule and the team kept the area clean!  

I would definitely use Sims and Sons for more services!  Great local, neighborhood provider!

Excellent plumbing company. We will use them again for all our plumbing needs. They diagnosed the problem quickly and cleared a clogged sewer line. Very professional and honest.

I called them after multiple pipes had frozen, thawed, and burst in our home. They got back to us right away and helped us the following morning. Dmitry methodically figured out each issue, checked in to explain what was happening, fixed the issue, and got us back on our feet in a day. And did so with care to preserve as much of our fixtures and bathroom as possible. An honest, responsive plumbing company we will be sure to call the next time we have an issue.

I just got a condo and bought it knowing the master bath did not have a working toilet, no water in the tank even with the valve turned on. I sent out the general yelp estimate search and Mike gave me a call back right away. I told him the issue and he was able to come out same day. He got my toilet working fast and helped me with my new shower head. The price was great and will definitely be calling him when i need things done in the future.

I had an issue with leaking under my sink, and Juan reached out and fixed the issue within a day. Such a nice guy and explained the issue in detail and walked me through everything he did to ensure the job was done correctly. Noel did a great job for us while I was out of town and dealt perfectly with my wife, who can be a bit of a challenge :). Quickly, efficiently, and on time.

Only reason I am not giving him 5 stars is because it may have been a bit on the high side for price... though as my old contractor friend used to say.. Good, Fast, Cheap... pick any two
