I scheduled a plumber with this company because of all the positive reviews and the $49 discount for Yelpers.  The plumber called me on the way to my house to alert me of his arrival, which was during the scheduled block of time that was given. He proceeded to ask me what was the problem that I was experiencing.  I thought that was odd -- didn't the company write down my initial concerns when I called them to schedule the appointment?  We were not able to talk.  So, he arrived unknowing of the issue, which seemed to frustrate him.
When he was able to witness the same problem of water draining from the bottom of the disposal, he simply watched the water leak all over the cabinet.  I had to ask him if he could place the basin under the unit to catch the dripping water to that it didn't make a mess of the cabinet. It was initially under the disposal when he arrived, but he moved it.  I would've thought that it was common sense to collect the water as an initial reaction, but he only watched the water leak.
He told me that he didn't have any disposals available since I didn't tell him what the problem was when he called 10 min prior to his arrival.  And that he passed several stores on the way where he could have purchased one had I told him the issue earlier.  Seriously?  I suspected the problem was a bad disposal.  But I am not a qualified plumber, nor do I deal with plumbing issues every day.
He quoted me $450 to replace the unit, which is OUTRAGEOUS!.  But, he said that if I called his boss, he could probably do something on price.  From experience, a previous replacement of a 1/3 HP garbage disposal was a total cost of $245, including parts.  After my less than stellar encounter with this plumber and outrageous quote, I told the gentleman that I will NOT have my unit replaced.  
He didn't charge me for my visit, which he told me was going to be $35 (maybe because of the Yelp discount, or his frustration, or the fact that I still have a mess under my sink to clean that he made?). I rebutted and told him that I had no problem paying for the visit.  But he kept walking out of the house to leave, stating that it wasn't necessary.
I proceeded to order a new disposal from the manufacturer's website, and I upgraded to a 1/2 HP unit for a mere $54 with discount code.  I am assured that I will be able to find another plumber to install the unit for a fraction of the quoted cost. I would definitely look elsewhere.  I gave 2 stars for his on-time arrival and notification for his arrival.

Friday noticed leaky hot water heater. Called Fast Plumbing 247 about 7:00pm. They were at our home about 8:30am the next morning, (on Christmas Eve of all days!), with a new high quality Rheem hot water heater. Had it installed and running within an hour, even with the troubles old house give to plumbers. Friendly, courteous, efficient, cleaned up after themselves. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy, quality plumber.

I had an emergency plumbing need at 10PM and not only did Rescue Plumbing send someone out immediately, the man who did the job, Dex, was amazing. Dex was very informative, respectful of my home, wore a mask, and was honestly great conversation.

I am absolutely pleased with the service and Dex's service as well. Highly recommend (AND ASK FOR DEX!)

I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a couple connecting pipes under my sink in the kitchen.  Great experience with Scott across the board:  high quality, careful and very quick service (e.g., took probably only an hour all-in because Scott was efficient), competitive pricing, great responsiveness and easy communication via texts, flexible scheduling, efficient and accurate estimate with a breakdown of input costs, proper safety precautions during the pandemic (e.g., mask, social distancing), cleanliness (cleaning during and after the project being done).  Scott was a good professional when discussing repair options (e.g., he shared his professional opinion but wasn't pushing a particular solution) and very detail oriented (e.g., Scott even installed the new pipes so that they consume less space under the sink than before).

Highly recommended.  I will reach out to Scott for any plumbing issues going forward.

I called Rocket Plumbing today at 12pm to schedule an appt to get my garbage disposal fixed. The lady was polite and professional and scheduled a plumber for 3p. Same day service is a major plus!  20 minutes later she called back and said she could have a plumber over in 20 minutes. At 1245p Marlon showed up. Real friendly guy right off the bat! Came upstairs diagnosed the problem and explained everything to me. He ended up fixing the problem without a glitch but then I just decided to replace the garbage disposal with a new one. I asked Marlon to take a look at a small leak I have going on one of my toilets. He told me it's small right now and have some more life in it but Rocket Plumbing can handle that also if needed. But this is where Marlon really came through. I had a minor gas leak coming from a pipe that was attached to my water heater. Marlon was able to smell it faintly right when he walked into the utility closet.  I told Marlon it shut down yesterday and I had no hot water. I had to relight the water heater yesterday.  Marlon was on top of his game. He knew where to go test right away to see if there was a gas leak and he was able to show me with my own eye where it was. Considering he's a family guy and I have two little ones in the house he knew the importance to try to figure out what the problem was. Thank you Marlon. You're a stand up plumber Marlon, and Rocket Plumbing is lucky to have you! If you're looking for a solid plumber Marlon is the way to go! I'll be asking for him specifically if I ever need a plumber again!

I had their services twice now and I am pleased with the work. They're  responsive, communicative, and fair priced. I will continue calling them for my maintenance service and plumbing issues.

Very happy with the service we got from this company. After getting bad service from another company we were completely satisfied with Windy City Plumbing. They came when the promised they would, explained the issue and the fix needed, and did the work at a competitive rate. We will definitely use them again.

They came out on the same day and clearly explained the problem and what they fixed in order to stop the leak coming from the toilet.  I would use them again.

I had to have a garbage disposal replaced...  they were so easy to work with.  I called for an estimate which was very reasonable but then I always assume the work will end up being on that high end but it was actually lower!  They called bc they were running early!!  So nice to not sit around and wait until the last second of the time window on whether or not they will show up.  He was very efficient, gave me options for what could/could not be done and cleaned up.  I would definitely recommend them.

Tried Angies list; all the call backs wanted to charge ($250-400) to even set foot in our house, and couldn't be there for days.

Jesus picked up quickly and was here in 2hrs, at no charge.  Listened and understood our issues, and had solutions for everything. Ended up needing to break concrete and replace an offset pipe in the basement. Can't convey how much work they did in such a short period of time.

Pricing was super reasonable, and he guarantees his work.  His crew were extremely pleasant, and left the place spotless.  Never calling anyone else.

COVID note: these guys wore their masks and gloves the entire time. We've been hesitant to have people work on the house since quarantine. No surprise these guys were very professional about it, without even asking.

We had to have a gas leak repaired and used Captain rooter first the first time. Adam helped diagnose and fix the problem. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done correctly and answer all of our questions. He also made a few other recommendations and finished up the work quickly. Everything came with a warranty, which added additional comfort.

Darrell and his team did an extraordinary job on our electrical projects.  They were creative on solving unique problems with installing a bathroom heater and an electric fireplace.  They were quick, efficient and accommodated our schedule.  We highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

5 stars! I had a toilet giving the phantom flush and it was loud and annoying! I found ABV and decided to give them a call, based on stellar google reviews. Amazingly, Chris was able to come over in less than an hour. He needed a new part, and was back in a flash. From calling to finish, it was less than 2 hours!

I really appreciate the attentive service and ability to address my problem right away. Not only am I keeping his card for all future plumbing needs but will be recommending his fine service to everyone.

Ride the no-stress express.  Called them on a weekend eve (no emergency) for an upcoming install.  Surprised to get a call back same evening from Demitri (owner).  

He came out the next day for a quick estimate on installing a gas line for new gas stove. Set up a date and time quickly, even came early on the install day.  

Professional, personable, explained the process, clean and efficient. Done.  Thumbs up.

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Juan is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the noisy running toilet and replace kitchen faucet for me. He can response quickly with quote based on pictures and videos, and take care of everything. Highly recommended!

I very highly recommend Noel. He is extremely responsive, thorough, honest and clearly cares a lot about his craft and his clients. Noel did all the plumbing for a kitchen and bath remodel and was extremely helpful with guiding me through decision making pros and cons for the various upgrades. He also took the time to ensure I was knowledgeable and comfortable with how to shut the water and gas off in my condo in the event of emergencies. Highly recommend!
