Mac's son came out on a Saturday morning with another guy and replaced my water heater in about an hour-hour and a half.  They had to disconnect and move my washer/dryer too.   Fast, professional, and did a great job.  I called two other places to get quotes and Mac's price was right in line with the other two.  Mac was also extremely responsive when I contacted him. I highly recommend these guys.

Pete and Noah were absolutely INCREDIBLE! What was thought to be a small clog ended up being a deep plumbing issue and they talked us through every step, tried the most effective methods which keeping the cost affordable. We called in the morning and they did everything that very day.

Jose was awesome.  We had already had a terrible plumbing experience, and were so nervous about getting another one but after our water heater broke we had no choice but to use one again.  After posting a bad review of the previous plumber, Windy City Plumbing came recommended by another yelper.  He picked up our water heater, hauled it up three flights, removed our other one, and installed it for a very fair price. He also explained everything and told us to call him if we ever had to manually light it ourselves so he could walk us through how to do it.  He answered a lot of plumbing questions and the best part has made me believe that plumbers in Chicago are not shady anymore.  Thank you Jose!

We had a persistent sewer gas issue in our house for a long period over the winter. It was an awful experience that leaked raw sewer smells into the basement, which was subsequently vented into the whole house through the central air system. We were unable to escape outside due to covid and cold, and it led to a miserable wintertime. I would not wish that on anybody.

We had multiple other companies out to try and address the issue, and nobody seemed to offer much help.

We had Eugene and his team out many times to try and address the root cause, and found a whole host of issues, probably caused by the interior drain tile installation (Reliable Basement).

Eugene and team were professional, on-time, patient, and dogged about trying to find the root case. We ultimately found issues with cracked pipes along the drain tile system, a crack in the floor drain, as well as a collapsed pipe on the city side. All of which was difficult to diagnose due to our house being quite old.

I cannot speak highly enough about First Chicago Plumbing, and would never hesitate to get their assistance.

Darrel's electrician Nate completely redid the electrical for my 3 flat -- service line, building rewire, new outlets, switches, and installation of all fixtures. Care was taken throughout the entirety of the process to make sure everything would function properly. Their ideas to add things that would improve the functionality of the building were spot on (intercoms, island outlets). I was on a budget and did not feel oversold, everything turned out flawlessly in the end.

I also completely redid the plumbing and had to do extensive gas work, and specifically Zeno's work was excellent. All of my internal plumbing is drastically improved, and we were able to service the addition of a W/D and dishwasher on each floor.

Katy and Ivo were great to work with.  On time arrival for the job.  Fast and efficient work!  A leaking wax seal on the toilet was diagnosed and repaired, and the bathroom was cleaned and dried, in less than an hour.  We are very pleased to have found ABV Plumbing!

Noticed our garbage disposal was leaking on a Sunday and sent Mike a text. An hour later, he was at my place installing the new unit. Fast, super friendly and got the job done without any issues. Quality experience across the board!

I found Noel of Five Plumbing solely from the rave reviews he has received on YELP, and my experience with him is entirely consistent with those reviews.  Noel is outstanding ... everything you want in a contractor.  I hired him to repair leaking kitchen sink pipe, and to remove a non-working garbage disposal and install a new one.  He provided me with a reasonable estimate over the phone, he showed up on time, and he is as professional as any contractor I have ever employed.  Based upon our interaction on the phone and throughout the couple of hours he devoted to this work, Noel struck me as being very knowledgeable, eminently honest and exceptionally conscientious.  The leak is repaired, the new disposal installed and working just fine, and I could not have been more pleased with the service.
