That awful moment when you notice the water start to build up in the bathtub.  You think to yourself, It will start draining again, no worries.  But the worries do come and the tub does begin to fill with more and more water until your showers are now a bath for your feet and ankles.  Of course, everyone you talk to is a plumber.  Try a hanger. Try drain-o Try using an auger and a plunger.  We tried all of this remedies to no avail, only furthering our plight by filling up our bathtub with black ooze from the depths of hell.  I got off work tonight at 4:30.  I called Pat the plumber hoping a professional plumber who is well versed in the intricate cruelties of plumbing could save us.  By 6 pm our sink and tub were flowing better than ever.  

Thanks to Pat and Jeff, I can shed this stench that has plagued my body for the past few days(having the tub clog up on Christmas Eve was impeccable timing) and shower my body in delightful goodness.  Stop trying to do the plumbing yourself and get Pat the Plumber.  Guy is honest, fast and efficient with over 30 years of experience!

First of all, THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS. THE NUMBER POSTED IS MAC'S PERSONAL CELL NUMBER. THIS IS A FAKE ADDRESS! The address he lists is for Cram Fashions in boys town. There is no way to call and complain about Mac because the only phone number listed is his cell and he is not even listing a real business location. Long story short, he came to my house, yelled at me, my husband came downstairs, he addressed my husband and not me but kept yelling. I asked him to take it down a notch and he asked what I meant. I said I didn't like his tone. He said bye and walked out. What a disgusting human.

I had a problem with my toilet for a month. I thought it was the fill valve that was defective. I searched for a plumber and rescue plumbing had great views so decided to give them a try. A lady answer right away, and was pleasantly surprised that they can send someone to my house in the next few hours. Diagnosing the problem was free. Javiar showed up on time and figured out right away it was the flapper that needed to be replaced. The price is reasonable. Not sure if it was the cheapest but given how fast they responded and how knowledgeable they are, it's worth it.

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn't skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

Awesome plumbing service!

We have used Rocket Plumbing twice and both experiences have been excellent. Marlon was our first plumber who helped us with fixing a wobbly toilet. He was able to fix the problem that was created by the developer of our condo. He explained exactly what the issue was. Our second experience was just this weekend. Our disposal was broken and we called Friday night to schedule an appointment. We were able to get a time slot of Saturday. Ben showed up early and was able to inspect the problem. As it turns out, the disposal was just jammed and he was able to fix it no problem. We appreciate his honesty--we would have easily bought a new disposal and had it replaced otherwise. Thank you!

Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals were amazing! I contacted them via Yelp late at night about a leaking sink. They responded within hours and arranged to come by the next day. When they came they were able to figure out my leaking sink in just a couple of minutes, had the supplies to fix it on hand, and offered to look at another slow draining sink in my bathroom while they waited to make sure the fixed sink was no longer leaking. They also gave me so many great tips on how to handle clogged sinks in the future. I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely call them the next time I need plumbing help.

Brian and Chris are just great! They are courteous, professional and most of all honest. Fixed my issue for a reasonable price. I would recommend this company to anyone. They will not BS you and charge you exorbitant prices like John Baethke who diagnosed and priced a problem without looking at anything and overcharges as well.

This was the first time i've used these guys- I found them by Yelp review so I had no way of knowing their work from a personal referral. I was having a hard time getting a plumber to change a bad stem in the bathtub- it's a small job, I know, but I couldn't do it myself. Eugene and his partner came and I realized it was a good thing I called them- I knew my bathtub plumbing was old and hard to find parts for but they managed in a Mc Gyver way to replace the stem, and it works. Plus these guys were very friendly- they met me at the door with a handshake and a smile. They were polite, and very, very informative.  They also made suggestions on updating the tub hardware which I am going to do, and I plan to let them do the work.

My experience with Sound Plumbing:
* Provided an accurate and reasonable estimate.
* Showed up with everything needed to do the work.
* Utilized state-of-the-art copper crimp fittings. Really cool stuff.
* Utilized the proper tools for each task. Had a puller for compression washers and angle stop wrenches. The crimper tool is mesmerizing.
* Very accurate placement of fixtures. Everything is plumb, flush and level.

These guys really give a shit about their trade. Instead of having to interrupt when things aren't done properly, I spent my time learning a few things.

We had our first plumbing issue since becoming homeowners and after reaching out for a quote through Yelp-Jose not only responded immediately but was able to come over and remedy the issue 30minutes later! I needed service today because I had a pipe burst from the cold and I had to shut down all water to my house. They gave a quote thru yelp and were able to come out within 90 minutes of me calling them. Their service was excellent, fast and they took care to keep things clean. The plumbers were very friendly and we talked about future work they wil be doing for me. And oh ya, the price was VERY reasonable! I recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Too bad all businesses weren't run as well.

Andrew was an amazing contractor. He took the time to hear our service request and look at what was really needed to meet our needs as a restaurant business. During his review of the job site, he stated required code requirements and provided other suggestive services options.  Andrew provided professional service with quality work.

Daryl is an expert in his craft.  We needed a dishwasher removed, a new dishwasher installed, and a garbage disposal installed.

No joke, within an hour of first talking to Daryl on the phone, he was in our home inspecting what type of work would be needed....on a Saturday!  Daryl happened to be in our area eating lunch and took time away from his family to inspect our situation.

Daryl provided clear and concise information regarding the type of work needed and how it should be done.

Fast forward to Monday morning.  Work was underway at 8am sharp.  So, a little less than 48 hours after my initial call he's in our kitchen working.

Here's how Daryl helped us:
-Was able to remove old dishwasher without needing to cut into floor
-Clean re-wiring of dishwasher connections
-Clean re-arranging of plumbing to accommodate garbage disposal and improve efficiency

Requested quotes through Yelp for a toilet install on Sunday night. ABV was the first to respond and had the best price. They showed up at 10 am the next morning and professionally installed the toilet and took away the old one. Couldn't be happier!

We had a pipe leaking for days in a very tight space. Once we identified the leak, most plumbers stated they couldn't come out for days. CJ Plumbing was able to come out almost immediately and fix the problem despite the small space, I was worried they would have to cut into the drywall. I would highly recommend!

Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

I don't write too many reviews but finding a good plumber you can use for life is impossible so I felt I should post this.  I have gone through a half dozen and I'm happy to say I finally found the Company I can count on and use as long as I live in Chicago land!   Recommended by a friend, I have used Five Plumbing on several occasions and all of the anxiety is out the window.  I would trust these guys to do work when I'm not there, it is done right the first time, everything is explained to you, they are realistic about what can and can't be done, and their prices are competitive.  I have gone the 'cheap' route several times and it does not work.  I have the 'redo' bills and water damage to prove it.  Stop reading, call them if you need some work done.
