Mac was awesome!  My water heater started leaking on a Saturday night, and I immediately started searching for someone to come out the next day, since I had a 9 month old child and needed hot water.

I reached out to Mac after searching through Yelp and seeing great reviews.  He asked that I send him pictures of the old water heater, where it was leaking, and a few different other pictures near the water heater.  He was at our house the next day (Sunday at 10am) and ready to install the new water heater.

Super friendly, explained the whole situation, what needed to be done, and advice for future maintenance/issues.  He was able to install everything and take the old water heater all within less than 2 hours and that even required doing some work on the piping.  I would definitely recommend Mac for any future jobs.

I recommend Rescue Plumbing! They were able to come that morning I called, and Javier was great at assessing the issue, explaining what needed to be done - all in a timely manner. Javier was a great help in an emergency situation.

Only con is that Rescue Plumbing was a bit pricey, but I also did collect many quotes due to the urgency of the issue.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

I was referred by a friend who has an old building with lots of problems and emergencies and not a lot of money to fix all of them at once.  Scott has always been able to come through for her to fix the problem correctly and at a fair price so I called him to help me move my drain and prepare for a new vanity to be installed.

I have had a similar and positive experience as well.  He quoted the hourly up front, but doesn't pad it charging your for every dang second and then rounding up as he takes 20 minutes to write an invoice. ( I've used many great plumbing services who gouge so much in this way, even though they are good at what they do I avoid using them when I can because I am always left feeling a bit like I just got mugged in an alley). I don't get that with Scott:  He's upfront, responsive, on time, efficient, friendly, fair and knows what he's doing. How rare is that?  He doesn't cut corners either.   I want the problem corrected, not patched.

He's coming back tomorrow to finish up and I'll post an update and maybe even a photo....stay tuned.....

We have used Rocket a handful of times for plumbing projects and couldn't be happier with their work! We've had Dan come out a few times and he is always great. Very professional and knowledgeable!

Another plumber that dropped the ball on getting back to me and organizing the time to go out.  Another plumber who wants to assume work is required without doing the basic problem solving beforehand.

We had a few plumbing issues that needed attention.  We called Windy City Plumbing and received a prompt response. Jose came by the house to assess the issues; and followed up with a reasonable quote. The company did a great job on our repairs.

We hired AP Construction for a faucet repair and they were right on time and they completed the work much quicker than I expected. They even let us know of a few other minor fixes they made, and confirmed that there was no leaking or water damage where our replacement faucet was installed. We couldn't be happier with the service provided.

I've worked with Sound Plumbing on a number of occasions and have had nothing but positive experiences. Their 5 stars are well deserved. Everyone I've interacted with has been professional, courteous and most importantly competent. They're efficient while still taking the time to explain what they're doing and why.  The pricing was competitive when I first hired them to replace a hot water heater and it's refreshing to have someone I can rely on whenever a plumbing issues arises. I cannot recommend Sound Plumbing enough. If everyone operated like they do, we wouldn't need to depend on Yelp to find good help.

Diego came out the same day that a plumbing issue at my condo presented itself. He was able to figure out a solution and fix it on the spot. He was courteous, professional and very obviously knowledgeable. I will be working with them for future plumbing issues, and I suggest you do the same!

Kevin was very quick to respond and gave a fair and competitive price for ejector pump replacement. Kevin was able to schedule the appointment for that morning. Nick performed the pump replacement and was very timely and professional. I would recommend Green Tech Pluming and will use them in the future for plumbing needs.

I've not had much luck with plumbers, until now. The sewer line was clogged   and soggy toilet paper started to back up into the basement. I searched on line for a plumber, and saw the great reviews for Midwest Hydro Jetting on Yelp. I called, spoke with Mike, and explained the problem. I  was hoping for a quick fix since I had family staying with me.  Of course he was familiar with this type of back up, and said it might be a day or so until someone could come out, but if the day's jobs were finished early, he would send someone. He also gave me a price range for the work that would probably be needed to be done, which was very reasonable.  Luckily the day's jobs ended early, and Dan arrived in the late afternoon. He knew exactly what to do, and power rodded the line until it ran clear. The cost was very reasonable and I was given a 30 day warranty.  Unfortunately, the line backed up again after a few weeks. Dan came back out, with Jose, and power rodded again, with a different head on the line. What came out of that line on the end of the rod head  was disgusting. He called it a 'mush ball', or something like that. It was a mass of toilet paper, wipes, and a small piece of plastic or cellophane, and had been about 75ft down the line. I previously instructed everyone to not dispose of wipes, flushable or otherwise, in the toilets. Of course it was group denial as to anyone doing so.  Anyway, the warranty was honored,    the line has stayed clear, and I have removed every package of wipes from the house that I could find. Besides being knowledgeable, professional, and very efficient, Dan is very personable too. Most people don't call a plumber until it's a dire necessity. They have the advantage, and some use that advantage to make more of the situation, and up the cost of repair.  This time it was a pleasure to finally find a company that did not do that. This old house will probably need a plumber again at sometime, and I would not hesitate to call them again if anything else 'comes up'.   I would highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone in need of great plumber services.

I have had at least a dozen inspections done on properties over the years. Professionals document their work and don't just flick on the water and flush toilets to see if they work! They take photos and include them in the report! The report that you rush sent me after I pointed out that you never sent one in the first place was 1 damn paragraph?!? One paragraph poorly constructed is your full report on a three unit property?!? Come back to the property and do a REAL inspection and I'll pay you plus a late fee! FOH otherwise, I can't even use your bs report!! I sent it to my and attorney and they both laughed and asked if you guys were a real company.

Sure enough there were scheduling issues on my part.

That aside do NOT, I repeat DO NOT hire these people for any sort of inspection! They rushed through my inspection, did not provide sufficient documentation to satisfy that they even did any inspection!

The gentleman I spoke with OF COURSE got rude and defensive when called on the BS!

I am to believe that they FULLY inspected a 3 unit building with 6 bathrooms, 3 kitchens in FIVE minutes!?!?! FOHWTBS!

I need to move a switch to another place since it is too close to the water. Called Darrell and he came in the next week and worked on it beautifully. Would recommend him for future projects!

Chris came exactly on time to fix a clogged drain in our bathroom sink. He did the job quickly and charged a very fair price for his work. I would highly recommend ABV and definitely will use them again.

About as honest and straightforward as it gets.  Great guy and even better plumber!  He explained everything that was going to be done, was flexible around our schedule and most importantly fixed the issue we were having.  I'm glad to find a go to plumber we can depend on with fair and transparent pricing.

Juan was very responsive, professional, and easy to work with. I had a water heater replaced and would use his services again!

We have used Noel several times now and I've yet to find anyone in Chicago more reliable!  He always answers the phone right away and makes himself available when quick repairs are needed (i.e. for water/plumbing leaks, etc.)  His service prices are always reasonable, too, and he explains all services and product recommendations in great detail.

We will always use Five Plumbing whenever we need plumbing service!
