I had a serious clog in my bathroom which was preventing my bathtub from draining at all.  I had previously hired another plumbing company which was unable to resolve the problem.  When I called Drain-EEZ, I had some questions about the service and the secretary transferred me to Pat, who was very helpful in answering my questions.  He expressed a high level of confidence that he would be able to clear the clog.  

When he was unsuccessful in making it past the clog through the tub, he took the sink apart and was eventually able to break through.  The first plumbing company gave up after they were not able to go through the tub.  Pat was also helpful in addressing my questions and general concerns.  I would hire Pat again as I found him to be both informative and skillful.

Mac and his assistant arrived on time and both were wearing masks. They were very efficient in the installation of the Rheem hot water heater. They got it done in less than 2 hours. They did a great job! He also patiently answered all of my questions which I greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Rescue Plumbing quick service, and especially to Pete and Noah for their professional communication, clean and timely service.  I appreciate the phone call 20 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know they were about to arrive.  Pete and Noah were able to quickly install our RO filter system for under the kitchen sink, and replace a leaky faucet hose.  There was a minor product leak (not purchased from them) that they were able to find and fix it.  I will defiantly call and ask for them again.  Thank you!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. They came out the same day, much faster than they anticipated to take a look at our issue. After assessing and not being able to reproduce it, they recommended we keep an eye on it and not move forward with any additional services unless it happens again. There was no charge for the consultation, and they didn't want to do anything that would cost us a service fee until they were confident it would fix the issue. They seem trustworthy and we will definitely contact them again if we have any future issues!

Joseph is AWESOME. When you call, he answers in person instead of deferring to an answering service. I had an emergency and he was at my house within 2 hours. He does great work at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE. He was in and out in less than 2 hours and that included a trip to Home Depot for parts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We've used First Chicago Plumbing a few times and have always had a great experience. Their customer service is quick, responsive and friendly. We had a blocked drainage line backing up in our basement. They moved things around to  come out the same day we called and their pricing was fair. They aren't the cheapest but we've used other services and you get what you pay for. They were upfront about their pricing. Will definitely use them again.

Jesus was quick to respond and give me an estimate for our toilet installation. He was super communicative and clear with the whole process. Seeing that we bought a tricky toilet ourselves, Jesus was really patient with the challenge and made sure everything was accurate and securely balanced. We will definitely use him and his team for future repairs and installations.

Where to begin... yesterday I called up Green Tech Plumbing because of a leaking valve in the crawlspace of my home. Now, normally something like this would be super easy to fix (just tighten the nut) BUT I was nervous to do it myself because I have no idea where the main water shut off is. My house is old, I'd had other plumbers not be able to figure it out, so I thought one just wasn't installed. Anyway, I called and spoke with Kevin, explaining my problems and we talked through the problems and what the solutions would be. He gave me a quote over the phone but said that he would have his guy (who wound up being Tim) look for the water shut off before installing a new one. By the by, my home is old so it is completely possible for there to not be a water shut off valve other than what the water company uses (in case you guys think I'm nuts). Oh, and Kevin said that it would take 3-4 hours to do and would cost $500 - $600. I agreed and we set an appointment for the next day (the leak was just dripping so not an emergency).

Cut to today, Kevin calls to make sure I'm home and tells me that Tim is on his way. Now, I really appreciate this because there is nothing worse than having some strange man show up at your house and you not know who he is or what he's doing. Anyway, about 10 minutes later Tim shows up. I show him to the crawlspace an reiterate the problem. Tim was down there for less than 2 minutes and found the leak, assessed the fix, and found the water shut off. 2 minutes. I was shocked because I had a couple contractors and a plumber not be able to find it! Anyway, I asked Tim to show me exactly where it is and if we could double check that it's the shut off for my entire home. He was super patient and showed me the valve and waited for me to double check all the sinks and tubs. Sure enough, he was right and that was the water shut off. Tim even showed me how to tighten the nut and explained that it's common for a leak of that nature just due to turning the handle on and off. So yeah, I was stoked with all that and the best part? When I asked how much I owed, he laughed and said he didn't do any work so it was free of charge. I mean, I insisted on paying him and he said it was fine and to have a great day! So not only did I get great service from the moment I called and spoke with Kevin. But then Tim shows up and is patient and allows me to follow him around to see what he's doing and to make sure I understand my own house. But no charge?! Wow.

All of that being said, I highly recommend Green Tech Plumbing. I will definitely be using them for all future plumbing projects.

They were WONDERFUL! Super communicative over Yelp and the phone; fixed our kitchen sink drain VERY quickly after another company came and failed (and tried to get me to do all sorts of extra other work); were super neat, conscientious, and careful; and were lovely to work with. We're asking them to do other work for us, too. As they walked around looking at our house to help do the estimates, they advised us on different approaches to save money and for better effect. Really loved this company.

My toilet had been leaking every time I flushed it; going onto the bathroom floor.  Stopped using it for a month, since I was busy traveling back and forth from Chicago to Detroit to help out my father, who was in the hospital for over a month.  

Captain Rooter sent out a great service technician in Adam A.  He did a tremendous job in quickly analyzing the situation and applying a fix to the problem.  He worked fast and was clear in his explanations.  I would highly recommend Adam, if you call Captain Rooter.  

He even threw in a free part he happened to have to help with the cost.   He was friendly and efficient.  He provided info on home owners insurance and recommended a good company too.  Overall a great job!!  I'm very relieved to have this taken care of.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Darrell. He was very flexible in scheduling our appointment around our schedule. He arrived promptly and wore a mask. He efficiently diagnosed the electrical issues we were facing and explained the issues and the fix very thoroughly and clearly!

He was also able to resolve the issue on the spot! He offered great recommendations for other items we could do around the house to be more energy efficient in the future. We will definitely be calling Darrell again for future work and highly recommend him!

I recently purchase a new toilet. Although, I have installed dozens of toilets in my lifetime, I recently met my match, with this new purchase. It was heavier than most other models and the bolt holes are hidden from view.  I called ABV plumbing after several attempts at installing it myself. My level of frustration, prior to calling, was off the charts.

The gentlemen from ABV was able to come out within hours.  He took a look at the toilet and my current plumbing. He then immediately went to work. He was courteous and was vigilant about any covid concerns. He even donned protective shoe covers.

He needed to sweat some copper fittings and add a new valve. This was done in under 10 minutes. He then prepared the toilet for install. His associate came and together they lifted the 118 pound toilet onto the bolts in one shot. I would have been jealous if not for the fact that I was so relieved to see this done so swiftly.

The toilet and surrounding area were then wiped clean. I took 59 minutes from start to finish. This would be impressive for even the simplest toilet installs.

I found ABV by using Yelp. I seriously expected him to say the job was too difficult. I am very happy to say I am wrong.

ABV GETS NOTHING BUT HIGH MARKS FROM ME.

I had a really bad clog in my bathtub and contacted CJ Plumbing on a Monday evening. The next morning I spoke to Dmitry and within two hours Lenny came to the rescue.  Lenny knew exactly what to do and used everything in his toolbox to eventually clear the drain, it wasn't an easy one.  He was also very professional, friendly and was a good sport about my dogs barking at him.  I appreciated the very quick turnaround and while the cost was within budget, I wish I had gotten a rough estimate from Dmitry up-front. I should have known to ask ahead of time, but had forgotten.  
I will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues!

Noticed our garbage disposal was leaking on a Sunday and sent Mike a text. An hour later, he was at my place installing the new unit. Fast, super friendly and got the job done without any issues. Quality experience across the board!
