I came home to a wet ceiling and figured there were some issues in my upstairs bathroom.  I talked to Pat on the phone and after talking, we diagnosed it as a wax ring.  Having told him I had done this before, he said you might as well save $276 on me coming out and give it a try  yourself.  If you need any help along the way, give me a call back.  I indeed had to call back one more time and he guided me through and I fixed (hopefully the problem).  When I for real need some help, I know who I will be calling first.  Pat, thank you for your help today!  Wish I knew what you looked like in case I ran into you at Epcot so I could buy you a beer or two!

I called Mac on a Saturday afternoon, when my tenants finally informed me about not having hot water. After sending him some pictures of the tank, he came out to my building and assessed the situation, telling me what I assumed was the problem to begin with: the tank is too old and needs to be replaced. He and assistant switched out the tank right then and there. Only took an hour.  I highly recommend Fastplumbing247 and will be calling again when my other water heater bites the dust!

Wow, to change the leaking wax ring seal on the toilet they wanted $799.  It was hello and good bye.
Fortunately I have experience, most home owners don't.   A simple job with a newer toilet that was not leaking but needed a new seal due to very heavy person twisting the  toilet base when getting up, it happens.  I am not a handyman, just in the know.

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn't skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

I called Rocket Plumbing after seeing the great reviews on Yelp.  So glad I did!  I worked with Marlon and Jack.  Marlon came over twice with out charging us to provide guidance on how to handle the leak (had to open the ceiling first) and then to provide an estimate.  They provided the guidance that the wax seal on the toilet was leaking and needed to be replaced, but also pointed out a hairline crack in the cast iron sewer return pipe.  Not the news I was hoping for, but they gave quotes on just fixing the toilet and switching out the cast iron for pvc.  There was no pressure to go with the larger job.  Since the ceiling was already open, we decided to do both jobs.  We thought the quote was very fair.  The job was done very professionally and in a timely manner.  Will definitely use them again!

I can't rave enough about Windy City Plumbing! In the worst cold weather that has happened in Chicago I had a pipe burst in my home and they were able to come same day to repair my pipe. Their prices are completely reasonable and I would recommend them for and plumbing need!

quoted an outrageous price before understanding the issue.  when i sent supporting information requesting they proceed with 2 simple fixes before completely changing out my mixer, they never contacted back.

seems like most yelp plumbers are fishing for someone who they can scam.

Finally I have found a plumber that I can trust.  I needed a saddle valve replaced. They responded and scheduled quickly and then completed the job in less time than they estimated. I had a different plumber replace a saddle valve in the recent past that cost me hundreds more!

Our refrigerator stopped working a few days before Christmas, including our waterline and valve to the new fridge. I requested a quote and they came out the same day. Fast, reliable, and friendly!

Another service call, another 5 stars. To anyone reading this wondering if all the positive reviews are real, they most definitely are. I was skeptical too, especially given how many lackluster plumbers I've had and the horror stories.

Yesterday, our kitchen sink clogged. On New Years Day of all! Kevin was very fast to answer the phone this morning and told me he could squeeze me in. Terrific. I asked for a call about 30 minutes before so I could get home and be there to unlock. Right on schedule, Kyle called me and let me know he'd be arriving and what time. Excellent communication. When he got to my place, he quickly got his equipment and went to work. Within a short time the clog was cleared, but he wanted to make absolutely sure it was unclogged, so he tested it a few times, ended up running the equipment once more and did some more testing. Very thorough and not rushed, which I appreciated. This marks the second 5-star experience I've had with Kevin and his team. My compliments on a terrific business- trustworthy honest plumbers. The guys were friendly and informative. They also were more than kind to my curious 4 year old that wanted to know exactly what they were doing. They gave advice and suggestions. They seemed trustworthy and not just out to scam you for more money which is really appreciated. It's more important than ever with costs of things going up. I know it's a necessary thing to have done but it's refreshing to know that they informed me how to keep this from being a yearly thing or a major undertaking/large repair job. Thank you!

Do not use this company!  They use unlicensed plumbers that have significant criminal history that caused over 25k of water damage in our condo!  (You can find full names of workers in other reviews...doing a quick google search will show you that they have robbed stores, drug history, etc).  
We called captain rooter to fix a leaky faucet on 2/15.  They send Dylan and Jonathon.  They had to cut into our walls by our toilet and faucet because they said we had a bad shit off valve.  They cut the pipe out around our faucet.  All fine.  They were going to come back the following week to fix it.  Never heard back from Dylan.  We called the main line again.  They then sent us Adam and James.  Adam then said if we pay him directly, he can do the job cheaper.  Fine!  We don't care!  Just want the job done.  It had already been 2 weeks with holes in our walls and no sink upstairs.  We paid him $1300 in cash.  He put 'shark bites' in our walls.  We thought the job was fixed and then woke up on a Saturday morning to water leaking in our downstairs foyer ceiling...upstairs floors ruined.  Downstairs floors ruined.  Called Joel again from Captain Rooter...he then sent Andrew.  Andrew came in and could not believe the damage and destruction that the previous 'plumbers' caused.  Andrew was there all day fixing the problem and then charged us $2028 for the job.
We are currently dealing with our homeowners insurance and all sorts of damage done to our condo.  Joel from Captain Rooter has been less than helpful.  He states it's not his fault.  
Just an FYI, I learned a lot about plumbing law during all of this.  Whenever you get a plumber, ask for their license and COI.  You can also look them up on IDPH website by name to verify.
Do not use this company!!!  If any one wants more info, I'm happy to share...just don't want to be a total Karen.  Just trying to save someone else from going through this DISASTER.  
Every plumber they send us was not licensed.  As a consumer, we had no idea this was a thing!  On their website, it clearly states licensed, bonded, insured.   They are most definitely not.

I own a small business and we had an issue that needed to be dealt with right away. I looked around Yelp and saw the great reviews for Sims and Sons and decided to give them a call. Darrell was very helpful and let me know everything up front. I had a client at 9 and needed to have my problem fixed before then. Darrell had arranged his time so that I could still run my business by 9 AM - He told me he would be at my business at 8:30. He got here at 8:20. So right away I knew this guy was professional and that he wanted to make sure I was fully functional for my work. He worked efficiently, answered all my questions, and fixed every issue that I had. He literally finished at 8:58, just enough time before my client came in. He even looked at other problems that I had and fixed those as well. I was very satisfied with the service and he explained everything he did. Prices are very reasonable and he already let me know how much everything was going to cost before he came in, so I was prepared and was not bombarded with hidden or extraneous fees that other people try to cheat you with. They followed all the COVID guidelines, Darrell even wiped his feet outside before entering my building because he had walked through some dirt. Very considerate! I've had other people not care and just walk through my business and make my floors dirty. Because of this I can tell he truly cares about his customers. I will continue to hire these guys for any future problems. They deserve all of the praise that you see here!

Hristo was great! He responded so quickly. He gave a competitive price. He even had to go to his store and come back for a specific part to fix our weird sink problem. He also wore a mask and booties the whole time. Will definitely use ABV plumbing in the future!

The best, most efficient plumber I have ever used. We had several longstanding issues we had fixed while disconnecting our plumbing for a foundation repair. We decided to kill many birds with one stone and we're extremely happy we did, the work these guys do is immaculate. The coordination and timing was very helpful with our particular situation as someone was coming home in the middle of all of this from a prescheduled chemotherapy treatment, great customer service all around. As a side note I would never trust someone that my dog didn't like and our dog wanted to leave with Dmitry....like we weren't even here.

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

This is our second time using the same service, and they have provided a wonderful experience again.

We messaged for a quote at 11pm on a Thursday night and they responded within 10 minutes and came out the next day. They came out for a quote but ended up fixing all issues (even small ones I didn't initially ask about)

This is the second time we have used Five Plumbing.  Both times we learned more about our plumbing.  He was on time, pleasant, clean, efficient and both times solved our problem for less than we thought it would cost.  What he did was find the real problem we were having and solve that!  So He is also knowledgeable and trustworthy!  I will definatly use him again and recommend this plumber to my friends.
