Contacted via yelp and got a response in minutes. We had a plumber out within 2 hours of the contact on a Saturday morning! Very professional with a. Free estimate and work was completed at a  reasonable cost! Will definitely contact again if the services are needed!

We called on a Sunday night, the owner returned our call within a few minutes and tried to talk us through the repair on our own.  When our rookie work didn't hold, they came out and got us all fixed up the same day.  The estimate was accurate, the work was fast, and they were great to work with.  Very satisfied, would use again.

Paul deserves more then 5 Stars, his communications was excellent right from the get go. He kept us informed about the time he would be out to install our replacement dishwasher.
Once he got here, he figured the problem out right away, we had previously 5 times people out and nobody could figure out why the dishwasher was leaking.
It took Paul 5 minutes to figure out it was a leak in the hose.

I woke up with no hot water in my kitchen sino, but hot water in the rest of the house. I attempted to fix it my self....to no avail. Called Rescue plumbers and within a few hours, Logan and Jenkins were at my door!  They found the problem and fixed it right away. Super kind, knowledgable, clean and talked me through everything they did. I would HIGHLY recommend them and will for sure use them if there is another issue.

Our sump pump broke down, and we noticed a small leak in our basement.  We called on Sunday Morning and Dominick was available and able to show up within two hours.  He replaced our system quickly at a very reasonable price and was very helpful.  Will definitely be using Dominick for any future issues and recommending to all of our friends and family.

Pete just finished our bathroom remodel and had to relocate the drain along with moving water lines. He did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend him to anyone else. Thanks again Pete! Hopefully my wife doesn't have any more projects for you

Positive experience, was able to call Ray during an emergency at 11pm (I live in Mokena) he came right out fixed the problem. Very nice and didn't charge a fortune. Will  definitely  use again.

I usually never give reviews but felt the need to do give these guys a review. We had a leak in our basement and called Advantage. What's great about this place is that they're super responsive and were able to send a really friendly plumber over right away.

What the biggest issue I have with these guys is we spent almost $300 for an hour of the plumbers time to find the issue and essentially block the issue but not fix it. So essentially I spent $300 for the guy to put a stop to the leak and now got a quote from another plumber who said he'll actually fix the issue in $250 and said we should've called him first. The other plumber I called actually laughed when I said that Advantage came in and stopped the issue but didn't fix it and asked well why didn't they fix It? For $300 you would expect the issue to be resolved.  So I'm very disappointed with this place and would not recommend them.

Again, the plumber was nice. And seemed knowledgeable. But I don't know why we paid so much money for our issue to not get resolved.

I cannot give enough praise for DPS.  We had a real plumbing emergency (broken pipe where it exits the house) and got 3 quotes.  These guys arrived within hours of our call (which was after 5 PM), and their estimate  came in a few hundred to a thousand dollars less than the other two. We thought the man that came out (Florin) very professional and he seemed to know what he was talking about so we signed on.  The company was excellent!  It turned out we had more sewage issues than we thought, but they carefully explained things and we did NOT feel exploited by the added expense (which still came in under Roto-rooter's quote without the additional work). They always called or texted before they came out and showed up on time.   After calling many plumbing companies through the years, we now have a plumber for life!

I went through a lot of mediocre plumbers and then found MD Plumbing.  I've had them clear out blockages, including one that took 1.5 days of hard work and tearing through a wall, and they could have just torn out the ceiling in the room below for a major pipe replacement, but they wanted to minimize damage so they kept at it and through a lot of hard work were able to get through to the blockage and break it up (it was rust from a collapsing stack) which saved me both considerable money and time in the process.  My house is old so the plumbing needs a lot of care (built in 1941) and MD has reasonable prices while still doing quality work.  They are always prompt, professional, and don't sting the wallet.

These guys were amazing. So professional so quick and affordable. Frank was so kind and he cleaned up after. I was so impressed by there professionalism. Highly recommend. We will definitely be calling these guys again.

We had a small job and no other plumber wanted to touch it. One other plumber gave us a ridiculous price of $800. The Sewer Guy charged us $100, $50 for the part. Greg came out and did an excellent job! I will definitely use them again.

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

My kitchen faucet started leaking and we have a plumber friend who had his hands full and couldn't come out that day.   So, I went on Yelp and noticed ROM's ratings were very high. Also noticed that they had put in several faucets in the past. Spoke with Mike who is a really nice guy and very professional. I knew I needed the faucet replaced, so I ran out to purchase a new one and he actually sent someone out THE SAME DAY with no extra charge! Very accommodating.

His worker John, came out and installed the faucet in under an hour. Also a nice young man who was very thorough. Job well done!

I would definitely call them again.

I've used these folks for 20 plus years and have always found them to be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. My house has the usual and unusual array of plumbing issues and the problems we've had were sometimes simple and occasionally complex. Things were always explained thoroughly and the work done promptly and well! My neighbor referred me to them and told me she'd used a variety of companies over the years and found these folks to be reliable and consistent! I agree with her wholeheartedly! Thanks Dave Soltwisch!

Just an update. Not even a response from Dave to his horrid service.

I am so upset with Ed the Plumber. They charged a ridiculous amount of money to show up for a simple job. When I tried to discuss this with them, I got the same sorry, there is nothing I can do speech, and if I refused the service, they were going to charge a $125 fee for showing up. The woman who answers the phone hung up on me when were discussing her unscrupulous pricing tactics. We had used Ed the Plumber in the past, but I will NEVER use them again, and I encourage anyone else NOT to use them as well.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
