Paul the Plumber is great! Water heater went out yesterday called him this morning and new water heater already installed. Work took less than 30 minutes! Very honest, fair price, included warranty and clean up / disposal of old water heater. Just great service all around! I highly recommend his services!

These guys are legit. Today, amid a long stretch of sub-freezing temperatures, I had Carmen out to help with a burst pipe in a basement wall. He arrived only hours after I called, and he came with two other employees.

He was able to quickly identify the likely area of the break to a line that supplies the hose bib on the outside of the house.  He then found a shut-off valve for that line (I'm not washing cars or watering flowers in January!) in a non-obvious spot. That allowed me to turn the water back on to the rest of the house, and it allowed him to get to other emergencies today. He'll come back to repair the break when things let up.

During this visit, Carmen also spent some of his valuable time discussing options for addressing low water pressure, and for replacing an aged water heater.

No charge for today's visit. In the past, they've also installed a garbage disposal for me, and rodded out a bad clog near the grease trap.

I'm grateful to have Forte Plumbing to call on when needed.

Pete and Noah deserve a shoutout and great review. Pete explained everything that was going wrong and my options for repairs. I do the same in my industry and know good service when I see it. I wish I could give Dominick ten stars! 2am and the sump pump alarm is going crazy and pouring rain outside. I frantically call two contractors I have dealt with and four other ones trying to find somebody and then happen on Sump Pump Doctor as Dominick picks up the phone and shows up within the hour. He replaced both my sump pumps (the other had not been working for quite a while), explained that the previous guy put in a Zolar and to stay away from that brand. He also put in a different check valve that doesn't sound like a mini thunderclap every time the pump discharges. And the emergency price was $750 with the pump, install, radon pipe modifications which is less than most would charge during non-emergency hours. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and responsiveness of Dominick. He also does injector pumps (which I wish I knew when mine went down last month and I got a good soaking not only from the water in the basement but from the guy who changed it). Thanks Dominick! You are a life saver!!!!

Our basement toilet and shower wouldn't stop overflowing with water, we called Peter at 8ish and he was there by 11 and got a huge clog out of our main sewer line. He was super friendly and explained everything to us and helped us get in contact with someone to restore our basement. We are going to have him help soon to fix a few more things around our house. I would highly recommend!

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

I came home to a faulty pump in our basement and called advantage plumbing due to their stellar reviews online.

They did not disappoint! Ben the technician came by within the hour on a Friday night and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had to dig up the lid to our drainage area and clean out a whole bunch of sediment that was tampering with our measuring system causing a back up of drainage.

Our basement could have flooded, but luckily Ben caught the problem in time. Highly recommend Advantage, ask for Ben he's a pro!

**AVOID THIS COMPANY**
Dishonest company.  They'll tell you they don't have availability almost a week later, but then all of a sudden have an availability the next day if you're willing to pay them out of pocket rather than going through a warranty company.  Apparently they have warranty plumbers and non-warranty plumbers per Anna (one of the office staff or the owner?).

So on today, Tuesday, they send out Martin, a plumber, for a diagnostic visit.  It was going to take them few days to order the parts and to have the same guy back I was suppose to wait until next week.  Irene, office staff I suppose, advised he's first availability will be next Monday.  I agreed to it and she said she'll confirm and call back in 30min.  She calls back and all of a sudden this guy who was booked full till Monday is all of a sudden on vacation for two days and probably won't be available until next Thursday, but can't confirm until Monday.  She also could not advise what's on their own schedule, thus could not give next availability of any of their plumbers.  How convenient!  

If working with a warranty company does not make them enough money, they should not sign a contract with them.  People pay premium and charge to request service call and the vendors do get paid by the warranty company whether they think it's enough or not.  But it's something they should deal with the warranty company, but not disservice customers.  I am not happy with the home warranty company and am ready to hire my own plumber after all.  But guess who I will never hire and make sure to let everyone else know of their practice?

The plumbers were very courteous and informative. Good craftsmanship. Would definitely recommend them!

Great company.  Came out right away. Walked me through every step and was able to get the toliet slighty working  so I could at least use it for a few days until they could come and dig and fix the issue. Dig went great and they were able to get everything taken care of. And was half the price of another company that came out and couldn't fix the issue.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Had my kitchen sink back up, I did all the work in an attempt to get it unclogged myself but nope! Called Miguel at RMO, I explained it all to him and he gave me a price before he even came over, which I liked. He was courteous, on time and very professional.

The job was done quickly, and no mess. I'm sure I would've of saved a few bucks somewhere else but, it's nice you speak to someone right away, even at night, and can get it done when you need it. I would recommend!

So I just had a plumber over to the house to look at the garbage disposal.  He looked at it for 5 mins and told me it was bad and I had to replace it.  He then tried to upcharge me by trying to sell me one for $150 or a better one for $300.  Since I told him they were overpriced and that I was going to buy one myself, he tried to charge me $136 for him coming to my house for 5 mins.  Couldn't believe it. He stated that was there hourly fee and they had to charge me for 1 hour.  Obviously I didn't pay it.  First they try to overcharge me significantly for the garbage disposal and then they want to charge me for an hour of work at $136 an hour!!  I would go elsewhere with your plumbing needs. Perhaps someone who is more trustworthy.

Didn't show even after asking for a later time!

I wanted a quote on some work and they told me that he would be here no later than 11. I got a call at 9:20 and he said he couldn't be here until 11:30 - I said  would change my plans and be here. At 1:00 I called and asked how much longer and he had taken me out of the day and told them I would call to reschedule.

This is a deal breaker.

I am so upset with Ed the Plumber. They charged a ridiculous amount of money to show up for a simple job. When I tried to discuss this with them, I got the same sorry, there is nothing I can do speech, and if I refused the service, they were going to charge a $125 fee for showing up. The woman who answers the phone hung up on me when were discussing her unscrupulous pricing tactics. We had used Ed the Plumber in the past, but I will NEVER use them again, and I encourage anyone else NOT to use them as well.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
