I made an appointment and within two days they came and installed a garbage disposal and replaced a pipe under our sink. They were amazing and even gave us a bunch of super helpful tips. They also were able to drill a hole in our cabinet so we didn't have to call an electrician to plug in the disposal. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them when replacing the pipe under our bathroom sink.

LOVE PPP! Shannon and Ann Marie make a great team. The first time i called, Shannon came out, same day and fixed our disposal right away. The second time I called (regarding potential frozen pipes and our washing machine now working)-- didn't even require a visit as they advised me on ways to fix it myself... which saved me the time and money of having them come out. I will ALWAYS use these guys!!

Excellent service, price, and professionalism. Paul fixed a toilet leak that was making its way through first floor ceiling after two other plumbers had attempted to fix but leak persisted. He also replaced my hot water heater when it started leaking and work was able to be done same day. He provides text when on his way and follows up after service has been completed. I will be using Paul for all my plumbing needs going forward.

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

We had a garbage disposal that went out and a Bidet that needed to be installed. The person on the phone was very nice and it was easy to schedule and appointment.  They scheduled a free estimate, arrived on time, and were very professional.  Logan and his partner Dennis inspected the items I had called and provided what I thought was a quick and fair estimate.  I decided to have them do the work and they started immediately.  They wrapped up the jobs quickly, professionally, and with no mess.  Overall it was a very easy experience thanks to Logan's clear and professional explanation and execution of the work required.

One of the first people to respond to me when we realized our basement was beginning to flood... despite having a system that worked, we felt that replacing the 20 year old system full of little issues would be the smart thing to do.

Dominick was friendly, professional, informative, and communicative. We are happy with how everything looks, the quality of the products installed, and having peace of mind knowing that it was done right this time.

Pete was wonderful! Called him about a dishwasher installation before the holidays and he talked me through how to do it myself and what part I needed. He spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me, responded to my texts with questions and followed up offering to stop by in the evening in case I needed help. He could not have been more helpful or generous with his time and knowledge. Dishwasher was up and running within 2 hours!

I will be using Burr Oak Plumbing exclusively from now on because of Pete!

Positive experience, was able to call Ray during an emergency at 11pm (I live in Mokena) he came right out fixed the problem. Very nice and didn't charge a fortune. Will  definitely  use again.

Ben K. was our service technician who came to our aid when our basement floor started having puddles of water. He was very thorough in inspecting the gutters around the house and checking both the sump pump and the backup sump pump. Ben was able to accurately diagnose the cause of the issue and performed the work professionally and quickly to prevent water from entering the basement in the future. Highly recommend!

Your response is absolutely incorrect and misleading. First of all we never received any sort of a refund for the $500 charge.  You stated you were going to send us a refund but you never did.  Secondly when you talk about the quality of your plumbers the first plumber that came out to fix our shower couldn't fix it; I fixed it. AHS covers materials and labor. You know as well as I do that this was NOT a complicated installation.  You were just trying to make a bigger profit than AHS was willing to pay you. Also, my wife signed off on the job. I wasn't home. The PVC discharge was replaced, incorrectly. Instead of face down it faces at 4:00. So much for the quality and expertise of your plumbers

Mark has done nothing but great work for us. In our old house (1920), other plumbers took a look at what we had (drain issues) and said it couldn't be fixed and would be $$$ to replace. He took care of it for a fair price, no problems since. Our GC's plumber told us we needed a new line to our sink--he came out as a second opinion and said it would be fine (it was). We are now having him replace the pipes in the basement, which he recommended as an effective way to help our old-house water pressure issues instead of replumbing the entire house. For an old house, you need someone who doesn't scare easily and who won't scare you. Mark is your guy!

Excelent service!  I had a leaking faucet and they came and fixed it in under 5 minutes and didn't even charge me.

I called several plumbers on a Saturday due to a clogged sewer line. Few even called me back. Greg called right away and was over within a half hour. Greg couldn't have been nicer. Great job. Reasonable price.

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

I had a leaking valve by the water meter. Mike was the first to respond to my request, and based on my pictures of the problem gave a quote. In two days, Derrick came and replaced the valve. He was personable and skilled.  I was impressed with Mile's responsiveness and Derrick's efficiency. Since I only got one quote, i don't know how competitive is the pricing. Overall I am very satisfied.

So I just had a plumber over to the house to look at the garbage disposal.  He looked at it for 5 mins and told me it was bad and I had to replace it.  He then tried to upcharge me by trying to sell me one for $150 or a better one for $300.  Since I told him they were overpriced and that I was going to buy one myself, he tried to charge me $136 for him coming to my house for 5 mins.  Couldn't believe it. He stated that was there hourly fee and they had to charge me for 1 hour.  Obviously I didn't pay it.  First they try to overcharge me significantly for the garbage disposal and then they want to charge me for an hour of work at $136 an hour!!  I would go elsewhere with your plumbing needs. Perhaps someone who is more trustworthy.

This is the second time I've used Four Season's and I can not say enough about what a positive experience it was in dealing with this company.

Having to replace my furnaces/humidifiers was not a surprise (16 y/o).  I contacted them for my routine winter check up and Joe (service tech) ran a test,  both tested positive for CO.  After my initial shock, Joe listened to what my needs were in choosing new systems and took the worry out of the whole process.   They were able to schedule installation the very next day.  I had every confidence in Candido and Ruben (installation team).  It is so nice to find a company that you feel you can trust and treats your home as if it were their own.  They were so careful not to scratch hardwood floors that had just recently been refinished.  I asked Candido if it was possible to change the filter access and he said he would try.  The old filters were  behind the gas line and humidifier switch which made it very difficult to change.  Candido was able to change it to be right in the front.  It's the little things in life, so appreciated!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, for anything!!!  Charges $125 to walk in your door, whether you hire him or not.  Was told on phone when I made the appointment, if I hired them the $125. would be waived.  I assumed that meant deducted from bill.  NO... it did not!!!   I found Ed the Plumber information in our church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and reasonable.  Quote was $498.00 to replace my kitchen faucet (which I purchased separately).  Since I choose NOT to hire them I had to pay the $125. !!  

Next day I hired someone else and paid $175.00 TOTAL for this simple job.

This guy is a thief and using the church bulletin to rake in the $$$. I had to ask about the parishioner discount and then ask for senior discount, which only reduce the quote to $438.00.  Ridiculous, definitely out for the bucks and not to earn a good reputation.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
