I asked for an estimate to repair the collapsed sewer line and never got an estimate back

I followed up with the company and they still didn't get back to me

I assume they didn't want the work given the heavy lift (it would require breaking the driveway and digging out the line)

I wouldn't really consider these guys a full service plumber but did a good job cleaning the line but that's all they could do - I just don't really understand why they left me hanging with no estimate and said on multiple occasions they'd get back to me

We called on a Sunday night, the owner returned our call within a few minutes and tried to talk us through the repair on our own.  When our rookie work didn't hold, they came out and got us all fixed up the same day.  The estimate was accurate, the work was fast, and they were great to work with.  Very satisfied, would use again.

Used this plumber as he came highly recommended.  I was provided a quote for the work and a window as when he would come to complete the job.  Paul is a staunch professional, completed the work a great deal quicker than my expectations, cleaned up after himself and provided years of warranty.  I also need to mention he completed the work for literally hundreds of dollars less than other companies had previously quoted me.  This guy is a winner, i will use no other plumbing company/services.

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

Our toilet got blocked because threw there a good amount of bentonite  cat litter, usually it doesn't happen such and we have been doing that way for a long time, but this time the cat litter was weird it got hard like concrete and blocked the toilet we tried doing everything we could to unstuck it but it didn't work, found this plumbing service and asked their help, they immediately sent a guy to work with our toilet and in 20 minutes everything was working great! They stand up to their name rescue plumbing and price is fairly reasonable.

Dominik was amazing.  He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day.  He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency.  He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

I highly recommend Burr Oak plumbing. We had a whole houseful of plumbing issues that Pete took care of for us. His pricing is fair and his work is excellent!!!!

Nothing like calling this place at 9:00pm on a Sunday night with no heat and having them be able to come out by 10:15pm- that's what you call good service. The guy on the phone was extremely helpful and did everything he could to get somehow out to us. The guy who came to fix the heat was extremely pleasant, knowledgable and professional. We could not have been happier and would recommend this company 101%!

**AVOID THIS COMPANY**
Dishonest company.  They'll tell you they don't have availability almost a week later, but then all of a sudden have an availability the next day if you're willing to pay them out of pocket rather than going through a warranty company.  Apparently they have warranty plumbers and non-warranty plumbers per Anna (one of the office staff or the owner?).

So on today, Tuesday, they send out Martin, a plumber, for a diagnostic visit.  It was going to take them few days to order the parts and to have the same guy back I was suppose to wait until next week.  Irene, office staff I suppose, advised he's first availability will be next Monday.  I agreed to it and she said she'll confirm and call back in 30min.  She calls back and all of a sudden this guy who was booked full till Monday is all of a sudden on vacation for two days and probably won't be available until next Thursday, but can't confirm until Monday.  She also could not advise what's on their own schedule, thus could not give next availability of any of their plumbers.  How convenient!  

If working with a warranty company does not make them enough money, they should not sign a contract with them.  People pay premium and charge to request service call and the vendors do get paid by the warranty company whether they think it's enough or not.  But it's something they should deal with the warranty company, but not disservice customers.  I am not happy with the home warranty company and am ready to hire my own plumber after all.  But guess who I will never hire and make sure to let everyone else know of their practice?

Used these guys 3 times for 3 different jobs.  Every time, I compare rates with other services and this company always comes up competitive. One time they suggested I might not need a new ejector pump as other services recommended.  They came and just unclogged it for the mere visit cost instead of suckering me for a new set up.  The other times, they used the best parts (I checked online) and charged me good rates.  See other reviews on Yelp and Angie's List.  These guys are honest, fair and use dependable parts in order to keep long-term customer relations.  This is no scam and run operation.

Everything everyone else said is true!  Mom's sewer was chock full of roots, causing a terrible backup in her bathroom.  He arrived within a half hour and had the problem resolved quickly for a more than fair price.  Why is it the people you don't want to have to deal with are always the kind of people you want to deal with all the time?!?  Thanks, Greg!

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Had my kitchen sink back up, I did all the work in an attempt to get it unclogged myself but nope! Called Miguel at RMO, I explained it all to him and he gave me a price before he even came over, which I liked. He was courteous, on time and very professional.

The job was done quickly, and no mess. I'm sure I would've of saved a few bucks somewhere else but, it's nice you speak to someone right away, even at night, and can get it done when you need it. I would recommend!

So I just had a plumber over to the house to look at the garbage disposal.  He looked at it for 5 mins and told me it was bad and I had to replace it.  He then tried to upcharge me by trying to sell me one for $150 or a better one for $300.  Since I told him they were overpriced and that I was going to buy one myself, he tried to charge me $136 for him coming to my house for 5 mins.  Couldn't believe it. He stated that was there hourly fee and they had to charge me for 1 hour.  Obviously I didn't pay it.  First they try to overcharge me significantly for the garbage disposal and then they want to charge me for an hour of work at $136 an hour!!  I would go elsewhere with your plumbing needs. Perhaps someone who is more trustworthy.

I don't recommend this company. Dishonest. They tried to sell me a new boiler for $5,400 when all it needed was a cleaning and a new thermal couple which came to a grand total of $100. I'm glad I smelled a scam.

Please beware they will charge you a arm and two legs!!!  My husband found Ed the Plumber information in our  church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and resonable or simply industry service rate  ( which does not mean cheap), but no they are absolutely the worst wanted to  replace a toliet, they quoted me over 1,750.00!!   I asked what type of  toliet costs that much... he said a Gerber so I wanted to research it  I asked for a model number and was told I DON'T KNOW, the most expensive one I found was 389.99 so are they charging 1300.00 to install, hypothetically even if the toliet costed 750.00 are they charging 1000.00 to install??  Then he said if you purchase the toliet we will install for approximately 700.00!!! I also was going to get my tub caulked since they would already be here they quoted 385.00 for just around the tub!!! This company is the absolute worst type of ripoffs ever, they prey on parishioners seeing  their advertisement in the church bulletin and believe they are contacting a honest business, but the truth is Ed the Plumber is   just using a cheap form of advertisement with a very large potential customer base with a lot of word of mouth. I really wish I could give them a  -0 for a rating!!!

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
