Best Plumbing Services in Illinois
Hired Zoom Drain after looking all over the place on Yelp and elsewhere for someone to de-root my sewer line. Found Zoom Drain on Yelp, and e-mailed them along with several others. They were very responsive and helpful setting up the appt. Christian was the technician who arrived. He was VERY helpful. Walked me through the whole inspection (I wanted to learn what was going on). Inspected the whole line. It turns out - there wasn't a root problem! The pricing was absolutely fair and he didn't oversell any products/services - very honest and helpful. Any future work or big projects, they will be first on the list to use again! Couldn't recommend enough!

Awesome service and great prices. I recently had water in the basement and didn't know why. Suspected that it was the sump pump. I called a few places and found out that it's probably cheaper and easier to purchase a bar of gold. Finally I got ahold of Shannon at performance pro. He quoted me half the price of everyone else and personally showed up to my house two hours later. You could tell he was good at what he did because he was so meticulous but at the same time he knocked out the job in no time at all. Would recommend to anyone!

These guys are legit. Today, amid a long stretch of sub-freezing temperatures, I had Carmen out to help with a burst pipe in a basement wall. He arrived only hours after I called, and he came with two other employees.
He was able to quickly identify the likely area of the break to a line that supplies the hose bib on the outside of the house. He then found a shut-off valve for that line (I'm not washing cars or watering flowers in January!) in a non-obvious spot. That allowed me to turn the water back on to the rest of the house, and it allowed him to get to other emergencies today. He'll come back to repair the break when things let up.
During this visit, Carmen also spent some of his valuable time discussing options for addressing low water pressure, and for replacing an aged water heater.
No charge for today's visit. In the past, they've also installed a garbage disposal for me, and rodded out a bad clog near the grease trap.
I'm grateful to have Forte Plumbing to call on when needed.

Pete and Noah were called in for an emergency water backup situation. They showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. They walked me through what was going on and what they were doing because they needed to use a sewer camera. Let me tell you, I have fond respect for someone like Pete who's been doing this for a while, had the professional courtesy to educate his clients and inform them every step of the way. Listing out all the options and being totally candid about all that is being done. Would recommend them to anyone having any sort of water/plumbing situation.

I highly recommend Burr Oak plumbing. We had a whole houseful of plumbing issues that Pete took care of for us. His pricing is fair and his work is excellent!!!!

Scheduling was easy and professional, plumber arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem..work was well done and cost was a little above average. I found coupons on their website that nicely reduced the total cost.

Plumber was on time, professional and quick ! Got the job done in under 2 hours and for a third of the price of other companies!

I moved into a new highrise in Skokie and noticed water damage coming off of the Master Bathroom after just a month. We called numerous plumbers before finally being able to get someone to come out and take a look. Mark came by to take a look at the issue and made a recommendation right away. The issue seems to be coming from a bad seal on the shower door. Mark advised that we simply replace the seal and we'd be good to go. He didn't charge us a thing! Great service, great guy! Will call if we need any further services.

I've seen the trucks all over the area for years, the only thing was I didn't need a plumber at the time. When I needed a plumber I knew who to call. I did read the reviews and it was clear unlike a clogged line to the sewer, to call Courtesy Plumbing. Prompt and professional and very clear on how pricing works, I would not at all hesitate to highly recommend them. I'll need them to come out again and rod and I have confidence in their ability to do the job and do it well.

We had a small job and no other plumber wanted to touch it. One other plumber gave us a ridiculous price of $800. The Sewer Guy charged us $100, $50 for the part. Greg came out and did an excellent job! I will definitely use them again.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Mike was quick to respond to my need for an urgent plumbing situation where the bathroom tub faucet would not work so the water kept flowing. We had to turn off all the water in the house. He arrived promptly on time, wore a mask given COVID and discovered a faulty part of the valve that was not working. He replaced it quickly and efficiently, also being guiding us in turning back the water on and explaining what the problem was. Mike is extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. So grateful he came so quickly given the holiday week. We were not inconvenienced for long. I highly recommend him.

We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.

Over the last three years we have spent over $10,000 dollars with this company installing a new air conditioner, furnace, and air duct cleaning. They were very accommodating when we were shelling out big bucks buying expensive Lennox products from them but now that they have our money their service has changed. A little over a week ago we woke up to a wet basement and no AC. To make matters worse we were scheduled to leave on a week long vacation the next day. I told my husband at least it's a new A/C unit and Lennox and Four Seasons will take care of it. I couldn't have been more wrong. Service man showed up at 9pm that evening, told us we had a leak somewhere and were down 7lbs of Freon. He couldn't tell us where the leak was until we paid the $1000.00 leak package charge and costs could go up from there. He said Four Seasons warranty was voided because we hadn't kept up with yearly cleanings. Looking back through our records we did miss the first year cleaning, although why an air conditioner that's barely a year old should need a cleaning is beyond me, Four Seasons installed a completely new Furnace system the second year but according to them that wouldn't count towards maintenance on the air conditioner and we had a cleaning scheduled for 6/30 when we returned from vacation. Still having faith in Four Seasons we started our week long odyssey with customer service. Let me begin by saying each time we asked to escalate our complaints to a manager it would take another 24 to 48 hours to hear back while the executive team (whatever that is) would meet to discuss our case. The cynic in me thinks that a good way to get a customer to give up is to give them time sitting in their hot house while they wait for the executive team. Lucky for us we were on vacation and cool. Each time we spoke with customer service they were polite but not particularly helpful. After much discussion and pointed questioning from my husband customer service agreed to a few points ;a leak on this new of an air conditioner could only be caused by an error in instillation or faulty products; yearly cleanings would not have prevented a leak; any faulty parts would be covered under Lennox warranty costing Four Seasons nothing. They did generously offer us their leak package for $750 plus possible additional costs and if we had a cleaning we would be back under warranty. Speaking of warranty they like to tell you that having any other HVAC company work on your system voids your warranty but as my husband pointed out to customer service that would only void Four Seasons part of the warranty not Lennox's. It was a nice scare tactic though and I'm guessing it works for them most of the time. We are currently waiting for another answer from the executive team and heading back to a house that's been without AC for a week. Save your self the expense and headaches and avoid this company at all costs. On Monday we will be spending more of our valuable time contacting Cotsco to let them know that the local company they recommend to install their Lennox products certainly doesn't share their high standards for customer service. I would encourage the other negative posters here that are Cotsco customers to do the same maybe we can at least save someone else this hassle.

I wanted to update this review in light of new developments. Four Seasons ultimately came thru with customer service and agreed to fix this leak under warranty with no cost to us. As always, all the repairmen we have dealt with have been very professional and courteous. I wish we didn't have to fight so hard for this outcome. While I appreciate how the company finally handled our complaint I feel if we hadn't waited them out and fought we would be out $1000. I increased my review from one star to three but remain guarded on my overall opinion of Four Seasons. Incidentally, if you are considering a Lennox AC unit I encourage you to google Lennox Evaporator Coil Class Action Lawsuit. I wish I had known about this issue prior to going with Lennox.

Please beware they will charge you a arm and two legs!!! My husband found Ed the Plumber information in our church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and resonable or simply industry service rate ( which does not mean cheap), but no they are absolutely the worst wanted to replace a toliet, they quoted me over 1,750.00!! I asked what type of toliet costs that much... he said a Gerber so I wanted to research it I asked for a model number and was told I DON'T KNOW, the most expensive one I found was 389.99 so are they charging 1300.00 to install, hypothetically even if the toliet costed 750.00 are they charging 1000.00 to install?? Then he said if you purchase the toliet we will install for approximately 700.00!!! I also was going to get my tub caulked since they would already be here they quoted 385.00 for just around the tub!!! This company is the absolute worst type of ripoffs ever, they prey on parishioners seeing their advertisement in the church bulletin and believe they are contacting a honest business, but the truth is Ed the Plumber is just using a cheap form of advertisement with a very large potential customer base with a lot of word of mouth. I really wish I could give them a -0 for a rating!!!

Where to even begin.....
We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.
Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.
On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.
This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!
Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
