I made an appointment and within two days they came and installed a garbage disposal and replaced a pipe under our sink. They were amazing and even gave us a bunch of super helpful tips. They also were able to drill a hole in our cabinet so we didn't have to call an electrician to plug in the disposal. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them when replacing the pipe under our bathroom sink.

When we had a plumbing problem the first time in our new house I didn't know who to call, was lucky enough to call Performance Pro Plumbers...they were fantastic- affordable and honest about repairs.
SO when we had a second problem, with a leaking toilet- we knew who to call.
Shannon was out NEXT day at no extra cost- was honest about damages, efficient and as always friendly. The leak was taken care of immediately, everything was cleaned up, as if nothing ever happened.
We live in a historic house and I have no doubt we will have future problems, but I have no doubt who to call when we do. Thank you !

Paul was great.  Very respectful, responsive and reasonably priced.  We had a leaking master bath toilet with was installed incorrectly by previous owner.  Over time became a hidden problem.  Paul not only fixed it quickly but went as far as trimming the tile around the toilet so everything fit and looked perfect.  Felt he went above and beyond and was looking out for us.  Really appreciated what he did.  Highly recommend.

I wish I could give Dominick ten stars! 2am and the sump pump alarm is going crazy and pouring rain outside. I frantically call two contractors I have dealt with and four other ones trying to find somebody and then happen on Sump Pump Doctor as Dominick picks up the phone and shows up within the hour. He replaced both my sump pumps (the other had not been working for quite a while), explained that the previous guy put in a Zolar and to stay away from that brand. He also put in a different check valve that doesn't sound like a mini thunderclap every time the pump discharges. And the emergency price was $750 with the pump, install, radon pipe modifications which is less than most would charge during non-emergency hours. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and responsiveness of Dominick. He also does injector pumps (which I wish I knew when mine went down last month and I got a good soaking not only from the water in the basement but from the guy who changed it). Thanks Dominick! You are a life saver!!!!

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

We had an issue with water backing up in the basement. In my frantic state, I called another company first to come and clean out the line. It resulted in a temporary fix and a $14k quote.  We then called Advantage (we have worked with them before and should have called them in the first place) and Scott and Harry came out and fixed the problem with no issues. Informed us of some work we may need done in the future but nothing urgent. What a relief! From now on, if there is ever a plumbing issue, I will not hesitate to call Advantage. They are always courteous, timely and honest. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately I was told I needed to replace my entire ejector pump within minutes of the initial visit, but it was working! It is clear after some simple research that all that was needed was a new switch (20 dollars versus 600).

I called because I was not an expert, but felt taken advantage of instead. Wish I could get back my 95 dollars for the visit.

Words cannot express how I overjoyed I am to be referred to MD Plumbing & Sewer. From the initial phone call to job completion, Marc was personable, professional and dependable. He arrived 1 hour earlier than stated. His partner unclogged a toilet in a mere 15 minutes. In addition, he ASKED me if it was ok to replace a part. He didn't tell me; he asked me. I HIGHLY recommend MD Plumbing & Sewer. I only made one additional call to another plumber prior to calling Marc. Prices were more than reasonable and fair. Too bad all contractors couldn't be this honest, reliable and thorough!

This is the second time I have called Courtesy and highly recommend them. Both times the plumbers were courteous, honest and were on time! Mike took a look at my bathroom sink, said it was probably the trap needing cleaned out. Asked if my husband was handy and could do the job. When I told him yes, he said great that he would hate to charge me for something my husband could handle.
He fixed the toilet when he was here and did a great job. I will definitely be using them again.

Oh what fun it is to wake up sick on your day off and discover your sewer line is backed up.  Fabulous!  My husband frantically started calling plumbers in the area and worried where we would take the children to use a washroom when the call for nature arose.  Yet, I immediately turned to the best resource out there.  Yelp.  

The Sewer Guy is located in Lyons, which is in close proximity to us here in Brookfield.  I gave Greg a call and he was very personable and professional.  You can tell a lot about a person from a phone call.  It got even better when he said he would be here in 15 minutes.  What???  Yes, please.

Greg did a great job rodding out our sewer and was very affordable.  The whole process took under an hour and it was nice chatting with Greg for the duration.  We will definitely call The Sewer Guy again if we are in need of any of his services.  Recommend!

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Very responsive and professional as well as being reasonably priced. Has always provided good insight to the work that I needed done and I would use them in the future. Replaced my 40 gallon water heater that went out for a 50 gallon one for $100 less than what a well rated competitor wanted for another 40 gallon one.

I've used these folks for 20 plus years and have always found them to be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. My house has the usual and unusual array of plumbing issues and the problems we've had were sometimes simple and occasionally complex. Things were always explained thoroughly and the work done promptly and well! My neighbor referred me to them and told me she'd used a variety of companies over the years and found these folks to be reliable and consistent! I agree with her wholeheartedly! I don't know where to start except survived the hottest day of the year without my new $6500 AC unit. I was sold said unit when I called for a tune up and check on if it was leaking given downstairs neighbor had water. I was assured if it was water from unit it was the AC causing it not the floor drain I questioned. I was told I needed a new AC because mine was 20 years old. This is probably true but fast forward I got a new Ac installed but the drain was issue. I had to call 4x, 4 technicians later I finally got my drain snaked ($350) after I said that was the cause. No apologies, sick puppy from heat. I was told to call customer service but I got voicemail twice. I'll pass next time and find a local family owned business that actually cares. Proceed with CAUTION if you call them.

Found Ed the Plumber in our church's bulletin. A service call to our building was $125. We had three issues in our unit that needed to be addressed, each issue that we were quoted at $500 per each, or $1,500. This quote was going to cost me more than double the amount I donate to my church every year. I ended up paying the $125, and then had another plumber come in and complete the job for only $200 all together.

If you want to pay high prices, then go to Ed the Plumber. Otherwise I'd just move on.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
