Best Plumbing Services in Illinois
The plumbers came right out and installed a new toilet. When we had problems a few days later, (not their fault) they came right back and fixed it for no charge. Great service! Would recommend to anyone.

When we had a plumbing problem the first time in our new house I didn't know who to call, was lucky enough to call Performance Pro Plumbers...they were fantastic- affordable and honest about repairs.
SO when we had a second problem, with a leaking toilet- we knew who to call.
Shannon was out NEXT day at no extra cost- was honest about damages, efficient and as always friendly. The leak was taken care of immediately, everything was cleaned up, as if nothing ever happened.
We live in a historic house and I have no doubt we will have future problems, but I have no doubt who to call when we do. Thank you !

Scheduled a same day appointment to clear out a blockage I had in my kitchen sink. Super quick, and did a very thorough job.
A great price, too.
I know who to go to for future plumbing issues. Great experience, all around.

Keith came out from Forte Plumbing to replace our old sump pump and replaced the broken valve as well. He did a good job and would highly recommend this company if you have any problems with your sump pumps.

Pete and Noah deserve a shoutout and great review. Pete explained everything that was going wrong and my options for repairs. I do the same in my industry and know good service when I see it. Getting the job done in 20min or less was a welcome surprise for the leak repair. Excellent work guys, we will work together again soon. -DrZ

Peter was so great. We have a ridiculously small access beneath our kitchen sink but he made it work and got our new kitchen faucet installed like a champ
We'll definitely be calling him again!

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

We had a serious drain issue and advantage plumbing was able to fix it. They were fair priced and very responsive. Jason and Cody were excellent. Jason was able to troubleshoot and uncover 2 other plumbing issues in the house and he was able to fix them both during the same service call. These guys are highly recommended. I will always call them first for any plumbing needs I have.

My basement flooded after the rain and we suspected a pipe leak, so I was directed to Drain & Plumbing Services by AHS warranty. I was happy at first to see that this company was rated highly on Yelp. However, after using their service, I don't think they should be rated anything greater than 1 star.
Phil, the plumber, came out to our house in 2 days. By that time, we were able to find an abandon pipe and cap it temporarily. When he showed up, we explained the situation. Our sump pump drained water into sewage line and for some reason, it backed up and water was coming out from the abandon pipe. He applauded us for capping the pipe because he said he would have done the same thing. When we asked him if he thought this would be enough and if he thought there were any issues with the main sewage line, he said that capping the abandon pipe would solve the problem and that it was unlikely our sewage pipe was clogged. He said if we wanted to put a camera inside to make sure, we would have to call the office and make another appointment and it wasn't covered by the insurance.
After a few days, it rained again, and our basement flooded even worse than last time. The toilet on the first floor also flooded. I called them and left them a message to call back (they never call back by the way). Since they closed on the weekends, we had no choice but to call an emergency plumber that same day. The plumber from another company rodded our main sewage pipe, which was the main reason for the flood; they could only rod 100ft but our main pipe was 140 ft long, so they recommended to put a camera inside to see if there would be any other issues. The other company quoted $145 for the camera but Drain & Plumbing Services wanted $250.
When I called AHS warranty because I noticed an extra trade fee charge, they told me that someone named Anna from Drain & Plumbing Service told them that it wasn't a plumbing problem. I had it written out by Phil on my receipt that our pipe leaks, etc, so if this wasn't a plumbing issue, then I don't know what is. Anyway, I called the office myself and a male picked up. He said he had to send someone out to 'determine if this was a plumbing issue,' and he'd send Matt, their best plumber, out in 2 days. (Seriously?)
Matt came and I told him what happened. He looked around for a few minutes and said he would recommend a whole clean out from outside but he has to check with my insurance to see if they would pay for it. He said someone from the office would call me that day and tell me if the insurance would pay for it or not; If not, they would still call me and give me a quote to see if I still wanted to pay it myself. It's been almost a week, and still no phone call from the company. The only call I got was the following Monday (he came on a Wed) from AHS and the AHS told me that it doesn't cover it. The AHS rep told me that Drain & Plumbing Services told AHS that they spent 2 hours at my place (totally lie--at most was 10 minutes each plumber).
After I hired the other company to put a camera in, they found that I need to replace the entire pipe, so a clean out would do me no good. I don't think they are professional or good. I would recommend other companies if you can help it.

The best plumbing team on the North Shore!!! Experienced, creative, and fastidiously focused, solid, hard-working guys. I know that's a lot of adjectives, but they ROCK! In an era where flash floods warrant top-of-the-line sump systems and quirky old house plumbing mysteries are commonplace, these are the guys you want on the job! Marc thoroughly investigated several plumbing issues in our old house - lumbering sump pumps in hard to reach places, low water pressure on second floor baths, and fancy faucet with crazy valve system that leaks. Marc presented Plan A for each issue, and then a Plan B (more costly, but well worth it). Sean and Paul came in to execute Plan A, and everything worked as Marc had hoped. No need for Plan B for anything. Even if Plan B had presented itself, I would have completely understood why since they explain everything to you (if you care to pay attention). They are geniuses and worth every penny!!! Thank you Marc, Sean and Paul!

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Courtesy Plumbing. Our garbage disposal was pouring water out of its bottom and after a call to a very compassionate receptionist, our anxiety was lessened. Jason showed up at our door this morning at 8 a.m. and assessed the need for a new one. He was back later to install a new one for us. He was very professional, yet friendly, and very knowledgeable about his work. Thank you, Jason, and thank you, Courtesy Plumbing, for responding so quickly. We will be calling again.

Had water backup into the basement and needed a plumber quickly. Looked online for a good plumber as I don't have a regular plumber. Saw reviews for Greg, the sewer guy, quick response, fixed the problem and was a nice person to deal with so that's who I chose to call. He did return my call immediately, gave me a two hour arrival time, he immediately identified the problem and fixed it. The outside catch basin needed rodding out. He even rinsed down the basement. Would call him again and highly recommend him.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Very responsive, prompt, on time and did a neat job of piping up shower valve and diverter.

We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.

Got an appt day I called and Technician Dominick was great. Explained all services and was clean and friendly. Gave 4 stars because of price which I thought was a little high for the service I received

I am so upset with Ed the Plumber. They charged a ridiculous amount of money to show up for a simple job. When I tried to discuss this with them, I got the same sorry, there is nothing I can do speech, and if I refused the service, they were going to charge a $125 fee for showing up. The woman who answers the phone hung up on me when were discussing her unscrupulous pricing tactics. We had used Ed the Plumber in the past, but I will NEVER use them again, and I encourage anyone else NOT to use them as well.

Where to even begin.....
We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.
Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.
On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.
This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!
Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
