I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

Jake came out on a Saturday Labor Day weekend to help with standing in my basement. He was so friendly and professional explained everything and it turned out to be just a jammed float in our ejector. He refused to even charge the full service fee and just took a small amount of money! Blown away! Highly recommend and will definitely be calling them when we need to do the next project! Quick: I needed to replace my overhead microwave unit in my apartment. I reached out to 8-10 different handyman services, fixer was the first to respond. They also were the first to give a quote that was responsible and didn't look the haggle.

Communicative: when fixer reaches out, they have a texting service that they communicate through and have you save in your phone. The texting service Walk's through payment, scheduling, and any changes or updates. After scheduling me a few days later a new appointment time opened up and the texting service alerted me and I made the appointment for the new time.

Professional: fixer had two people come. As soon as they checked in, I received an email/text that said the people had checked in and their estimate for job length. They best their estimated time by 30 minutes which saved me substantial dollars from the initial estimate.

I moved into a new house and recently finished our basement. The old owners had an Old Watch Dog system in which the cables were in terrible condition and every now and then the battery would beep randomly.

I was getting tired of it so it was time to buy a new battery backup. After days of research I was sold on the Wayne WSS30VN. Bought it off Amazon with prime, got it within 2 days and then when I opened and compared it to the old Watchdog I was like umm yea, time to call for some help.

Found Emergency Plumbing online and thought I'd give them a try with all the positive reviews I saw.

Man am I so happy I hired them. The business resides in Cary so the commute for them isn't crazy for emergency plumbing situations for me.

They gave a very reasonable quote, I agreed on, they came on time and did a empacable job.  
Within an hour they took out the old Watchdog system, adjusted some PVC tubing and installed my new Wayne WSS30VN. Once it was done they brought a hose they had with them, tested the system and also told me about some other things I never knew like flushing out sediment once a year from the water heater.

They also helped recommend me with some water softeners and sediment filters for the future.

Man I'm so happy I forgot to include their names.

Konstantin and Nick are some or the best in the plumbing game.  I have found my go to plumbers.

Responsive, detail oriented and fair priced services - will hire again and highly recommend to anyone with sewer drain issues! After visits and consultations from other plumbing companies, we were left with fatigue of costly choices to make, I'm so glad that we found these guys - they did the job right from start to finish!

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!!!!! This business is an absolute atrocity. I am completely appalled and shocked at our visit from the helpful plumber, which now in retrospect is extremely ironic. The plumber, which I use this term loosely due to the fact that he knew as much about plumbing as my dog, arrives at my business awkwardly with his mother? Also, wearing a t-shirt that said F*CK Obama. First impression was quite unsettling but the water heater needed fixing so I lead them to the problem. After about 5 minutes of poking and prodding, water begins to violently shoot out of a pipe as if to put a fire out! Panic ensues. I ask him what is happening and his dumbfounded response is I don't know! Something tricked me! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?? Water continued to rush out of the wall quickly ringing in a tab of over $65,000 worth of damage!!!!! The water ran through the floor into our basement office ruining computers, washer/dryer, and professional camera equipment to name a few things that are now dead. Our tech was confused and quickly left once the damage was done and now, convenietly, no one can get ahold of anyone at the company. These guys are scam artists and completely bogus. I repeat...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have used Thompson plumbing a couple of times now and continue to be thoroughly impressed and extremely pleased with the work that is done. Nick is the plumber to ask for. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helpful. Each time I've had him here to work on a project he educates me on the particular issue that I am having. I will never call anyone else but Thompson Plumbing. And if you have any type of plumbing needs you should call them as well. They are simply the best!

I highly recommended them! They are very honest and kind. We have unknown leak on Sunday. They told us that it will be expensive to give us service during weekend. If we could wait Monday morning, they could show up. He gave us some suggestions to prevent leak get worse. We took his advises and wait until Monday morning. They showed up on time and fixed the leak problem. They could come over Sunday and charge us emergency price but they did not. Thank you so much Keekey's!! Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

Correction of previous comment.  It was my mistake . The leak was caused by bathtub overflow gasket.  Not the toilet ring that was installed.  My appologies for the mistake.

This review is overdue and probably better that way. We have had a home in Glenview in our family since the 50's. In the 80's it began to flood occasionally and drain pipe and a double pit backyard sump pump system was installed. We maintained this system and it worked well till the floods of 2013 (I think) at which time that system no longer worked. Fast forward 3 flooding events and a backyard like a lake for days after any good rain. I believe in the fall of 2018 we called for an estimate. The offer was 1 gravity drain in the back yard and a rework of the basement sump system. You bet your bottom we asked questions up and down. How was that going to work when 2 pumps in the back and one in the basement couldn't keep up?  In the end we believed them and went for it. The system has worked great ever since. Our backyard is dry within hours even after heavy rain. We've been happy and continue to call them for other plumbing needs.

But let's talk about these last few weeks. This constant soaking and heavy rains would have been disastrous in the past. It still wasn't pretty and the system was put to the biggest test. The results. The night we had the heaviest storms overnight is the first time I've ever seen that drain covered in water and the backyard begin to flood. It rained hard for such a long time and wouldn't let up and the water was slowly inching towards the house. Thankfully the really heavy stuff finally let up after an hour and the drain was able to catch up. After 30 minutes of moderate rain the backyard was walkable again and when we got up in the morning it was dry. A few days later it was happening again and we had really no drying out time in between these events. This time the drain kept up, the yard flooded a bit but within 30 minutes of light rain it was all dry again. Sorry this is so verbose, but I dint know how else to say USE THESE GUYS! What they've done for us is beyond anything we ever thought possible and although the work was extensive and expensive it is worth every penny we spent. Thank you!!

Just called Ed last night with a kitchen drain problem, he came out this morning and had my sink cleared out and functioning great within an hour. A fair price and great, timely service. Highly recommended.

We live on the 4th floor of a 40 year old condo building.  The building often has water pressure problems (particularly after a condo-wide water shut-off for servicing).  Some years ago, Jay and his father from Pressure Pro came out and fixed the water pressure problem we were having.  We recently started having another water pressure problem and the hot water was down to a trickle.  Our Condo Management tried to send out another service company, but they would not come out on a weekend.  We remembered Pressure Pro and insisted that our Management Company use them.  Jay came out and had strong water pressure back in no time.  While he was here, he took the time to explain how to help prevent future pressure problems, and also made some recommendations for fixing some other unrelated issues.  Jay and Pressure Pro are one of those rare Chicago area services that are honest, friendly and reliable.  We cannot say enough good things about Pressure Pro.

I called J Blanton to have our sewer line rodded out and camered.  I was quoted $638 to do the work, which did not include sending pressurized water through the system.  If I wanted pressurized water it would have been around $900.  I could have also selected options that went as high as $2,000 just to clear the line.  I told them I wasn't interested and that I would just pay the $79 service call fee.  The plumber, Boomer, said he could take a credit card and wanted to take my credit card to his truck.  I told him no and he got irritated that I wasn't comfortable with him walking to the truck my credit card.
