These guys came out same day and fixed a problem that alan-e-power quoted at almost double their price!! They were very polite, thorough, and explained everything to me before they did it. We are impressed with the service and they even cleaned up when they were done! We will definitely use them again!

If you're looking for a local plumber, these are the guys to go to. Reasonably priced, very honest, good workmanship. I was able to call them to install our water heater and the next day they were at our house, and after a couple hours, all done! These guys are definitely in my contacts for future work!

Anyway, this is my go-to plumber. It's actually 2 brothers-Matt and Dan, and I've only ever had Matt do work, but his brother Dan was super nice on the phone and my guess is he's good too.

Matt first saved us last year when we had a clogged sink that us, Roto-Rooter, and another local, well-reviewed plumber couldn't fix. We were told that it would cost thousands to fix and would require a lot of work. We were pretty desperate. But Matt fixed it! We were so so grateful.

Tonight we had yet another issue with a leaking hose under the sink. I think Matt was on his way home when I called, but came over and fixed it. Again, so grateful. I feel like he always goes out of his way for us and does a good job for a fair price. Yay Murphy plumbing!

We had them out twice for our bathroom.  The first time was when my wife broke the shower handle off while the water was running and we could not get it turned off.  They came out on an emergency call and fixed the problem.  We then had them back out when the bathroom project proceeded.  I have no complaints and would not hesitate to have them back out.  They are true professionals.

Joe has provided great services to us quickly and at the right price.  I am grateful to have a reliable plumber close to home in Bloomingdale!

Derek was such a pleasure to work with. I had called about our shower not draining and he came out within a couple of hours of the call. When he was here I asked him about our sink & disposal too--both of which he fixed on the spot. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to many other places.

Recently my husband stepped out of our downstairs shower at 5:45 am into a pool of water. We do not typically have water in our basement, in fact the River Forest flooding that frequently occurs because of the nearby Des Plaines River has never reached our house in the 14 years we have owned our home. Later that same day of our problem we attempted to clear the water from our basement (even though it was still not at all clear as to its origin) but by evening the water instead of receding, appeared to be rising! We called Terry because we found his website after a Google search and he claimed to be a 24 hour plumber in our area. Right from the start, Terry put us at ease because of his professional approach to diagnosing the possible problem and within an hour (at 11:00 pm) Terry and he associates came to our home to assess the situation. We are very impressed that Terry and his staff are not only extremely professional, competent and punctual but have reasonable prices as well. They stated that they would call us by 10:00 am the next morning and they called exactly at 10:00 and by 10:40 they had installed our brand new sump pump! I can't say enough good things about Lincoln.  My home flooded when the city sewers backed up from a huge storm just before 4th of July 2014.  I live in an old house on one of the sunken lots in Bucktown.  I had 4 different plumbers/sewerage guys out to given their opinions on a potential fix.  Everyone said something different.  Robert, from Lincoln, was the only one who seemed to know what he was talking about.  I don't have any practical plumbing experience, but I have an engineering degree and have some understanding of fluid dynamics.  These other guys were going to make my house flood even worse! Robert was the only one who identified a backyard drain as a potential problem and suggested rerouting it.  Lincoln rerouted that drain, fixed a broken sewer tile (that required digging through my basement floor), and installed a flood control system (backflow valve and pump) for the same price that another company quoted for just the flood control system.  Also, there were a bunch of problems that cropped up along the way (e.g. leaks in our main water line).  Lincoln fixed them all and didn't charge us another dime.  They even moved the project up ahead of schedule because they thought we were at risk for flooding again.

Really just a top notch company.  They know their stuff, they are professional, and they have really reasonable prices.

They move a gas line for me. Great work. Very efficient and professional. Would gladly hire them again.

We're having plumbing issues and Brandon and team were super responsive in asking questions beforehand to understand the problem and providing guidance before they could get here. Also we were able to be scheduled quickly to resolve the issue, gave us detailed explanation of the issue and what our next steps should be.

Can not say more about the fantastic service I received from Grant with Preferred Professional Plumbing!  They were incredibly prompt and fit me in when I really needed service quick. Grant and his guys were on time, professional and very kind and patient with my concerns and questions. HIGHLY recommend this company for any sort of plumbing issues you may have!

Anyone who has had a sewer line issue knows how bad it is, ours was probably the worst case scenario and these guys did an amazing job.

My vanity came loose from the wall and experienced major water damage.  Mike and the Magic Men team came in and replaced the vanity and plumbing for me at a reasonable price.  He even went to the store for me to buy parts I had forgotten to buy.  Mike made this very easy for me and the job was completed on time.  When I told Mike my furnace wasn't working he offered to take a look at it for me as well.  Was able to help me identify the problem so I can get it properly serviced and he didn't charge me a dime for the assessment.  I couldn't recommend these guys more.

Came with a mask, was very respectful, and didn't judge the errors I made in the project that I needed him to fix. Extremely reasonable pricing as well, will definitely be using this company for all my future plumbing needs!

I had a broken city sewer line. I was told they would do all the work to get this fixed as soon possible. I was the one who had to contact the city to insure the issue was fixed in a timely manner. I was not contacted when service appointments where made. My contact info was not updated after multiple requests. After canceling an appointment due to a funeral via the text message which indicated I could reply to. They showed up anyway. When I told the technician they where not to be on the property because I was not home. They still went ahead and worked on the property. They did not fill the hole correctly and laid cement when it was too cold to do so. The hole was caved in and cement cracked by the next morning. When they where done the technician then called me to demand payment after being told he was not to work on the property. He was told
To just finish the job regardless by his management. When setting up appointment to correct the issue, and having to cancel due to rain and freezing temperatures I was given a hard time and they tired to tell me I could not reschedule the appointment for work on my property. On the day of the appointment it was once again raining they went ahead and laid concrete. Due to the rain the top layer washed off which means it's going to eventually collapse again. And I will have to fix the patch.

I would never use this company again. It was a pain, and they have horrible customer service.

Edit: I forgot to add they showed multiple unprepared for the appointment. Lacking the correct equipment. Or not knowing what was to be done on that day.
