Back in the fall I had an issue with the water backing up on the toilet line.  This company sent out a technician that rodded our the toilet line and charged me $650.

Four months later - same problem
They sent another plumber and I am not sure what he did but he charged me another $200.  I followed up with an email questioning the charges and service and never got a response.  I was looking for long term solution.

I had to call another company to come and look at the issue and offer me a long term solution.

Very disappointing!

I have used Schmitz Bros on 3 different occasions and each time I tell my friends how great they are. Honest and reliable as well as affordable. He is not going to rip you off. This is truly my favorite repair go to guy. Bob is the best!!

Murphy Plumbing came to my home for a clogged sink. They were a referral as I didn't have a plumber to call.  They will now be the first call for plumbing services.
They came out quickly and on time. Matt was quick, courteous and helpful. He even fixed a secondary problem with my faucet. He cleaned up well and billed us fairly. Highly recommend!

We had them out twice for our bathroom.  The first time was when my wife broke the shower handle off while the water was running and we could not get it turned off.  They came out on an emergency call and fixed the problem.  We then had them back out when the bathroom project proceeded.  I have no complaints and would not hesitate to have them back out.  They are true professionals.

Joe came out to my house 2 weeks after my husband passed away.  He was reliable, kind and very professional!  He left me feeling like I could totally trust and count on him. Today I called Joe again and he was quick to respond, came to my house and took care of the problem. I will tell all my friends and anyone looking for the best plumber out there.

Came by and fixed my nasty clogged toilet super quick, and it was after a 5 on a Friday. Would call back again for sure (hopefully I don't have to but good to know I can get a problem fixed quick)!

Recently my husband stepped out of our downstairs shower at 5:45 am into a pool of water. We do not typically have water in our basement, in fact the River Forest flooding that frequently occurs because of the nearby Des Plaines River has never reached our house in the 14 years we have owned our home. Later that same day of our problem we attempted to clear the water from our basement (even though it was still not at all clear as to its origin) but by evening the water instead of receding, appeared to be rising! We called Terry because we found his website after a Google search and he claimed to be a 24 hour plumber in our area. Right from the start, Terry put us at ease because of his professional approach to diagnosing the possible problem and within an hour (at 11:00 pm) Terry and he associates came to our home to assess the situation. We are very impressed that Terry and his staff are not only extremely professional, competent and punctual but have reasonable prices as well. They stated that they would call us by 10:00 am the next morning and they called exactly at 10:00 and by 10:40 they had installed our brand new sump pump! If you are in search of a great plumber, we highly recommend Terry's Neighborhood plumbing and Sewer Service!

I had a backup in the front line and got a quote from another company to clean out the roots.  This other company said it would cost $285 for the first hour, plus an additional $75 for the camera if I wanted to see the line.  Lincoln gave me a quote over the phone of between $175 and $225.  I decided to go with Lincoln based on the reviews and that their upper limit was still less than the other company's minimum charge.  Lincoln was here for awhile removing lots of roots; they called ahead, came on time, and were very professional.  In the end, their final charge was the lower of their range estimate----exactly $175.  The line is completely clear.  I'm definitely using them again.

Nothing not to like. Great response. Great value. Great work so far. Much better value than many others.

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with the service I received from this company. They were on time, professional and thorough. I'm always concerned repair people will take financial advantage because they can. That's not this company at all. They were honest to the point that my estimate went down not up. I've recommended then to everyone I know. I'll definitely call thorough m this company for all my plumbing needs. Thank you so much!

Called Grant and his team Saturday afternoon at like 4:30PM after another plumbing company stood us up 2 days in a row.
Grant and his partner showed up within an hour (seriously, on a Saturday afternoon)!! I was ecstatic.
They diagnosed the issue quickly and were ready to repair the issue right away, but we wouldn't be home for the whole time they needed to fix the issue. But they're coming back Monday to fix the issue for us!
I'll update again once the work is complete, but I'm seriously so impressed with their responsiveness and transparency of the issue.

Incredibly disappointed! Todd at H2O Plumbing came to our home last week because a pre-sale home inspection revealed a leak in our indoor spa. The attitude was surly and unprofessional. We might have overlooked that but the level of service was even worse. With our approval they opened up the tile  around the tub and told us that we had to purchase a ($300) dollar replacement faucet and they would charge us an additional $650 to replace it. On top of that, they charged $150 for diagnosing the issue, and this was not going to go toward the repair (which is common practice). We would also be responsible for the repairs to the tile. We became suspicious and got a lot of feedback on NextDoor that this was not a reasonable amount to charge. After a friend recommended Sandman Plumbing, we called Tom and had a REAL professional come over and do an assessment.  He was able to immediately tell that the hot water handle in the faucet was leaking.  So H2O Plumbing was going to charge us $800, plus the $300 for a faucet totaling $1100. The entire fix with Tom at Sandman Plumbing cost $250 for a replacement faucet cartridge. The tile that was torn apart in my bathroom by H2O was unnecessary.  So now we have to pay for tile repairs. In the process of our home sale we have been dealing with many fine contractors and it is a shame that H20 gives tradesmen a bad name

I flooded under the kitchen sink and my floor due to an issue with my disposal. I called Magic Men and the two nicest guys came over and replaced my disposal.  It was a great experience. I'll definitely use them for any other plumbing needs in the future!

I just called American Sewer and Drain for some sewer issues. They listened to our needs and were extremely helpful. They were unable to help us as we were outside the area they serviced but referred me to a company that could help us. I was impressed with how they wanted to help us get our problem addressed even though there was no financial gain for them. Sounds like a company with integrity.

Joe was great! He had to miss our first appointment due to his previous house taking longer than anticipated (and the fact that we had somewhere to be) but he more than made up for it when he rescheduled! He's reasonably priced, friendly, efficient, punctual and spent the time to explain everything to me. I will definitely call him again when we need a plumber!

Kyle R is the worst customer service agent they possibly have. He was rude and had no idea what he was talking about. I had service for about 25 minutes and he claims the plumbers were here for three hours. Then he said they charge for three hours. He's not really sure what they're doing. However they were here for a short time and charged me $2400. I would never recommend this company for anything ever. They are criminals.
