Back in the fall I had an issue with the water backing up on the toilet line.  This company sent out a technician that rodded our the toilet line and charged me $650.

Four months later - same problem
They sent another plumber and I am not sure what he did but he charged me another $200.  I followed up with an email questioning the charges and service and never got a response.  I was looking for long term solution.

I had to call another company to come and look at the issue and offer me a long term solution.

Very disappointing!

You can't do better than these guys. My elderly parents have been long time customers. With the recent severe cold they had frozen pipes. Despite a crazy schedule, he fit them in and spent 2 hours to fix the problem.

First thing this morning (Thursday) we had a major issue with the bathroom downstairs - shower was backing up and toilet not working properly. I called Matt and at first he said he could have someone over by Monday however when I mentioned what we were dealing with, Matt made some adjustments in his schedule and was here in an hour. Fortunately he was able to find the problem and within 6 hours, had completed the job with everything working perfectly. I even asked Matt to pad the invoice as I was so thankful he was able to come on short notice however he just laughed and said it was not necessary. People in the trades at times get a bad rap however if this is an indication of the way Murphy Plumbing conducts business, they will never hear a bad word from me and now have a customer as long as I continue to reside here. Cannot say enough good things about my first experience with them. Thanks guys.

We had just moved into our Del Webb home 3 weeks earlier when we awoke to water pouring from our basement ceiling light fixture. The water supply hose of our master toilet had cracked and had been leaking all night. We were new to this area as well so we had to rely on reviews to find a plumber. Hansen saved the day. The plumber was well qualified, nice and honest. They were at my door 15 minutes after my call. Very pleased. We want to give thanks to others who took the time to review Hansen. Passing it forward

Joe is reliable, courteous and does a very thorough job. He follows through and makes sure the job is complete. I have used Joe a number of times on a purchase we did on a foreclosure. I have been impressed with him on every job he has done for us.

Came by and fixed my nasty clogged toilet super quick, and it was after a 5 on a Friday. Would call back again for sure (hopefully I don't have to but good to know I can get a problem fixed quick)!

Recently my husband stepped out of our downstairs shower at 5:45 am into a pool of water. We do not typically have water in our basement, in fact the River Forest flooding that frequently occurs because of the nearby Des Plaines River has never reached our house in the 14 years we have owned our home. Later that same day of our problem we attempted to clear the water from our basement (even though it was still not at all clear as to its origin) but by evening the water instead of receding, appeared to be rising! We called Terry because we found his website after a Google search and he claimed to be a 24 hour plumber in our area. Right from the start, Terry put us at ease because of his professional approach to diagnosing the possible problem and within an hour (at 11:00 pm) Terry and he associates came to our home to assess the situation. We are very impressed that Terry and his staff are not only extremely professional, competent and punctual but have reasonable prices as well. They stated that they would call us by 10:00 am the next morning and they called exactly at 10:00 and by 10:40 they had installed our brand new sump pump! After having had Lincoln Sewerage & Drainage out to this location, I am convinced that as long as he's in business we'll be doing business with them.  Just yesterday, his second visit here,with having to replace the leaky drain pipes and rusted faucets, he  replaced the drainage pipes on both the kitchen and bathroom sinks plus he replaced the old faucets with quiet dedication and did a nice clean job and though he ran into some problems with the old fixtures which cost him more time, he did not change his price quote, and as he finished I was truly impressed with his workmanship and his integrity.  I have recommended this company to the others in our building here.

Adalberto was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with, and it was easy to schedule appointments. He and his team did a good job fixing our plumbing issues quite quickly (a leaking toilet seal, a reversed hot/cold shower handle, rodded our sewer, and provided advice on a slow draining sink). Will definitely bring him back for future plumbing work.

We're having plumbing issues and Brandon and team were super responsive in asking questions beforehand to understand the problem and providing guidance before they could get here. Also we were able to be scheduled quickly to resolve the issue, gave us detailed explanation of the issue and what our next steps should be.

They were very thorough and progressed through multiple steps of rodding and jetting before finally having to dig in the yard to add a cleanout to resolve my sewer issue.  The entire team was contentious and intent at every step. Unfortunately, my 60+-year-old pipes needed a bit more than could be managed from inside the house.

Not only were they professional and aggressive in resolving the issue, but they were also very responsive to our urgent needs and showed up when they said they would for every visit.  

Great guys and fair pricing...highly recommended!

I had a broken city sewer line. I was told they would do all the work to get this fixed as soon possible. I was the one who had to contact the city to insure the issue was fixed in a timely manner. I was not contacted when service appointments where made. My contact info was not updated after multiple requests. After canceling an appointment due to a funeral via the text message which indicated I could reply to. They showed up anyway. When I told the technician they where not to be on the property because I was not home. They still went ahead and worked on the property. They did not fill the hole correctly and laid cement when it was too cold to do so. The hole was caved in and cement cracked by the next morning. When they where done the technician then called me to demand payment after being told he was not to work on the property. He was told
To just finish the job regardless by his management. When setting up appointment to correct the issue, and having to cancel due to rain and freezing temperatures I was given a hard time and they tired to tell me I could not reschedule the appointment for work on my property. On the day of the appointment it was once again raining they went ahead and laid concrete. Due to the rain the top layer washed off which means it's going to eventually collapse again. And I will have to fix the patch.

I would never use this company again. It was a pain, and they have horrible customer service.

Edit: I forgot to add they showed multiple unprepared for the appointment. Lacking the correct equipment. Or not knowing what was to be done on that day.
