We had the unfortunate discovery of water leaking through our basement ceiling from our first floor bathroom. They had someone out next day. The two guys worked quickly to try to identify what was the issue. They were upfront about the cost- ie how much we were in for when they started putting holes in the ceiling. Turns out it was just a bad toilet seal. They were up-front about how much it costs to fix that before doing it. They worked quickly to repair and then cleaned up (most of the) mess. We also got some on-the-fly advice about our plumbing system and how it may be affected by the large tree in our back yard. The cost was exactly as quoted and we payed when work was complete. I will use them again in the future.

Our refrigerator went out, and before store would deliver, we needed a shut-off valve for the ice maker. Called the Schmitz Bros. He arrived that day, installed the shut-off valve and promised to come back to attach line to the new refrig. He was prompt, courteous and extremely competent. Price was fair. Highly recommend this plummer! I will continue to use him whenever I need a good plummer.

I looked into several different plumbers. Some charge to just come to your house and then they also charge for a 'diagnosis'. Murphy's does not do either. Very knowledgeable and honest. Did two different jobs for me and I am very happy with both. I wanted to find someone in Roselle as that is where I live and I like to support my community. What a place!! What amazing service!! If your looking for a plumber, any type of issue... Hansen is who you need to call! I just used them...... again.... for a leaking toilet pipe. They were so courteous to my 2 children sleeping, got the job done very well and were just as professional as they come! I pay a bit more than XYZ plumbing shop, but a few bucks to know it gets done is well worth it!! Water heater, pool heater, toilet problems, they have solved all of my issues. I cannot say enough about them!!

Joe is great!!! Very reliable and does an excellent job. He has fixed toilets, drains, a garbage disposal and installed a new toilet for us. I will never use anyone else and have recommended him to family and friends.

Derek was such a pleasure to work with. I had called about our shower not draining and he came out within a couple of hours of the call. When he was here I asked him about our sink & disposal too--both of which he fixed on the spot. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to many other places.

Recently my husband stepped out of our downstairs shower at 5:45 am into a pool of water. We do not typically have water in our basement, in fact the River Forest flooding that frequently occurs because of the nearby Des Plaines River has never reached our house in the 14 years we have owned our home. Later that same day of our problem we attempted to clear the water from our basement (even though it was still not at all clear as to its origin) but by evening the water instead of receding, appeared to be rising! We called Terry because we found his website after a Google search and he claimed to be a 24 hour plumber in our area. Right from the start, Terry put us at ease because of his professional approach to diagnosing the possible problem and within an hour (at 11:00 pm) Terry and he associates came to our home to assess the situation. We are very impressed that Terry and his staff are not only extremely professional, competent and punctual but have reasonable prices as well. They stated that they would call us by 10:00 am the next morning and they called exactly at 10:00 and by 10:40 they had installed our brand new sump pump! I needed my toilet serviced due to constant running water. Amazingly, Brandon was able to make it out same day! He assessed the issue, knew the root of the problem, bought the part that needed replacement and fixed it in no time. I appreciated the prompt response and quick resolution. Reached out on Friday night after our 20+ year old water heater went out. I sent a couple of photos via text and got an estimate right away. Magic Men was able to source a replacement for install the next morning. They showed up right on time, and we had hot water in a few hours. Not having hot water is a pain, but getting our heater replaced with Magic Men was painless. Highly recommend!

I've been happy with Excel but I needed a warranty repair fix on my water heater and his offer was nearly half their rate.  He showed up on time, did all the work with his shoes off (thank you!) and did a fantastic job.

He spent the next half hour explaining a lot of my plumbing to me free of charge - even helped uncap a pipe I needed work on for additional HVAC work to proceed.  I am hiring him again in the spring for sump work.

Joe was great! Needed a kitchen faucet replaced. Came out same day, friendly, professional, and very fair price. Highly recommended.

Had them out for a simple valve replacement. They were quick and got the work done the same day, that's the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, I was quoted $400 for a job that should cost half that. Literally replacing a single valve that took less than 2 hours counting from walking through the door to leaving. The technician quoting the work said he couldn't do anything about the price. When I called the head office they said the same thing so I accepted it because I was already out $50 and had wasted time just to have him come out. If they had fixed pricing like this, I should have been quoted it over the phone before they came. After weeks of trying to speak to a manager, I finally spoke to someone and was told the price was non-negotiable and since I had agreed at the time, that was that. They even have a special offer on their webpage with no restrictions, but he refused to honor that comparing plumbing services to buying a cheeseburger.  So here's your warning, expect to pay a lot for a little and make sure you mention the special offer up front.
