Best Plumbing Services in Illinois

Called this company to come out to fix a drain pipe, as there was water in the basement.  The plumber routed the pipe, and even sent the camera down, but didn't see any blockage.  Ran water, and it was still backing up.  The guy said to 'watch' it.  An hour later, after running the shower, there was water all over again.  Called him back, and he said there was nothing he could do.  
Called a DIFFERENT company, who came out, and FIXED the problem, while the guy from Absolutely clear stood by and watched.  We had to pay over $200 to Absolutely Clear, and they did NOTHING to fix the problem.  Then had to pay another plumbing company to fix it.  Tried calling Absolutely Clear to see about getting some of our money back, and after talking to Diane, who said she would call me back, have not heard anything from them.  They won't even answer our calls now.  WHAT A RIP OFF!!  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!  Not worth the time and hassle, especially since they can't do the job.  Save yourself some money, and call someone else.

We had a small leak under our kitchen sink and I wasn't sure what the cause was so I went into the Yelp portal and found Easy Work (Jon). He was very responsive and after showing pics and video, he gave me a quote and came over the next day to take care of the issue. He was on time, answered calls/texts, and very professional. Highly recommend!

Yep, good as it gets. Reliable's been around for a long time -- their dad started the business and now two brothers carry on the tradition. Josh quoted a price to us for finally resolving our sump pump/gutter problem. He ran into a problem because of tree roots gone wild in the parkway -- making the job more labor intensive than he thought. Didn't make any difference. He was prompt, courteous and, like the company name says, reliable. We couldn't be more pleased.

While he worked around rain days, our hot water tank bit the dust. We called Josh and four hours later we had a new hot water tank at a very reasonable price.

This is an honest company with hard-working diligent owners you can trust. Reliable Plumbing is our Plumber for Life. You won't be disappointed.

He is extremely clean and thorough. I need a part or two he actually had on the truck. He wouldn't leave until everything was perfect....and it was.
I would not hesitate to use him again. Amazing guy.

Lucas came out promptly when I needed a toilet replaced. I already had the new toilet. He was courteous and efficient. He also made sure that my drain line wasn't clogged like I thought it may be - which was a relief. He told me that I needed a new water supply shut-off valve because mine was old and wasn't closing completely. He offered to replace it for $60 which was the cost of the new valve and not would not charge me any labor cost because he was charging me for the toilet installation. I questioned how a small valve could possibly cost so much, but asked him to go ahead and replace it.

Later I resolved this with the business owner Max who agreed that the charge was excessive.

Difoggio James and Sons was a great plumbing experience. The quick response and the friendly service is wonderful. My dishwasher was not working and he came in and fixed it however it was so minor that he didn't even charge me. That is what you call great service. If I would have called anyone else there would have been a service fee up front. Thank you.

Wonderful service! Called in an emergency when my basement was flooded due to sump pump failure.  Crew was here in less than 20 minutes and in and out with a new sump pump replaced in under an hour. Incredibly friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and will use again.

I found Trojan Plumbing on Yelp and decided to contact them to address a few plumbing issues at our home. Tony was the plumber assigned and he was the absolute best! He was pleasant, friendly and explained everything he was doing and why it was necessary. He's exactly the type of person that puts you at ease and that has a trustworthy presence. In addition, the company also sends you a reminder and a notification when they are en route to the appointment. I highly recommend this company!

My estimate began with a comedy of errors--to begin, not prepared with tape measure and immense disrespect to their own staff on site while barking orders, leaving me uncomfortable.
-We get inside... begins showing something me by tracing a box on my painted wall with his screw driver?!
-Quote was more than 200% the cost of two other electricians I obtained a bid from.
-*it gets worse... took my panel apart and was tapping everything in the panel with his screw driver (I have two electric cars and solar panels feeding through that panel--over 250k in assets) and came to find out he tripped breaker which caused the need for tesla to arrive onsite and troubleshoot. (Remember this was all for a bid... quite scary how they'd perform an actual job)

**Here is the worst of it... I called and asked for owner/manager to call me. I get a call from, turns out to be the guy who was onsite but didn't share that it was him and was talking in third person the entire time. He allows me to finish and then proceeds to call me derogatory names and notes to me that he doesn't have a quoting system for unreasonable people like me, that's why my price was so high... hmmmm???

Personally, not the organization I desire performing working at my homes. He runs a business and had zero ability to control his temper and manage the situation with any level of maturity or professionalism.

I have an attorney preparing a letter for their insurance company in order to provide color on what has taken place.

My tenant had a backed up tub. I tried with some home remedies but seriously nothing was moving this water. I tried something through the sink too and accidentally broke the plastic seal and that was when I knew I was in over my head and had to call the pros.

I pulled up Yelp and called Charlie at 9pm. His answering machine tells you to call his cell but since my tenant was ok with waiting until the morning I decided to wait. The next morning I called him bright and early and he told me he would be by later that day. I called him later asking for an update and he said that I had a stubborn rust blockage and that it bent his wire! He said he was on his way to the store to get another one but he was very determined to unblock it.

Later that day he called to give me a report that he had cleared the drain, my tenant said he did a great job and very professional. I'm so happy that I called him and that he ended up being a great honest guy. He could have charged me extra for a new wire. He could have said that it was worse that it was because of where the block was. But he didn't. Honest man. Great guy. He even took the time to explain to me how my plumbing structure was in my bathroom! I never knew!

Call him if you need him for plumbing. I'll update when I need him for heating services (which honestly I hope is a long time from now!). Thanks Charlie.

I was having a large bathroom remodel/addition done and the contractor in charge recommended a couple plumbers. I looked up his recommendations and found one I thought I would like until he came out. I never met such a rude business owner.
Then I was talking to a friend who used LaCassa Plumbing and told me how professional the owner was and answered all questions, cleaned up well and explained everything in detail. I called LaCassa Plumbing up and Carmen (the owner) came by at 7:00pm the following evening upon my request.  
When Carmen arrived, he listened to everything I had to say and he gave a couple of his own recommendations. The wife loves the rain shower head and body sprays (his recommendations). Happy wife, happy life . Couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!!
We will be having him back to replace a leaking hose spigot (only leaks when it's on) and to install a back up sump pump system. Thank you for being professional, clean and reasonable!

Jaryd not only is a great Plummer, but has excellent customer service skills, along with great people skills.  He is the kind of contractor that you want to see be very successful because he continues to treat his customers with respect and acts with a sense of urgency regardless of how minor your plumbing issue(s) may be!

Edwin has helped my husband and I twice now and we honestly will not go anywhere else for our plumbing help in Chicago. All the great reviews are legit!  Nick called right away and replaced our garbage disposal.  Great service and he came in under the quote!    I've put his number on speed dial.  :)

Had my faucet fixed recently by them & was very satisfied. They're polite,  efficient, skillful, & knowledgeable handymen. 10/10 recommend!

They do good work but seem overpriced to me. We we're charged $350.00 to replace the guts in our toilet. I understand the cost of doing business but I can't help feel we got ripped off. We won't be calling them again
