Best Plumbing Services in Illinois

Called this company to come out to fix a drain pipe, as there was water in the basement.  The plumber routed the pipe, and even sent the camera down, but didn't see any blockage.  Ran water, and it was still backing up.  The guy said to 'watch' it.  An hour later, after running the shower, there was water all over again.  Called him back, and he said there was nothing he could do.  
Called a DIFFERENT company, who came out, and FIXED the problem, while the guy from Absolutely clear stood by and watched.  We had to pay over $200 to Absolutely Clear, and they did NOTHING to fix the problem.  Then had to pay another plumbing company to fix it.  Tried calling Absolutely Clear to see about getting some of our money back, and after talking to Diane, who said she would call me back, have not heard anything from them.  They won't even answer our calls now.  WHAT A RIP OFF!!  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!  Not worth the time and hassle, especially since they can't do the job.  Save yourself some money, and call someone else.

Yep, good as it gets. Reliable's been around for a long time -- their dad started the business and now two brothers carry on the tradition. Josh quoted a price to us for finally resolving our sump pump/gutter problem. He ran into a problem because of tree roots gone wild in the parkway -- making the job more labor intensive than he thought. Didn't make any difference. He was prompt, courteous and, like the company name says, reliable. We couldn't be more pleased.

While he worked around rain days, our hot water tank bit the dust. We called Josh and four hours later we had a new hot water tank at a very reasonable price.

I had a leak in the basement and after opening up my drywall determined the source to be the pipes leading to the laundry.
Max fit me into his busy schedule and helped explain why it was a disaster waiting to happen based on how it was setup by the previous owner.  He came by the next day, fixed the issue, and now I can sleep easy knowing that I won't have an issue moving forward.
Max was great, the pricing was even better, and he respected my household by being sure to take off his shoes and by cleaning up after himself.

These guys were wonderful. Dead 40year old water heater. They were there the next day with a replacement and, despite the challenges of such an ancient installation, were done in short order.  Hot showers. Yay!

Derek was excellent! He really took the time to properly diagnose and repair the problem without trying to upsell us on a pump we didn't need. Will do business with DRC plumbing again for sure!

Great service. We had a slow draining dual vanity sink and I called OneStop Pro because they were fairly local. I got a quick call-back and an appointment was made for the next business day which was Monday. They confirmed with a text indicating a 2-hour window. On Monday, Dominic the plumber called with a heads-up that he was on his way. He arrived when expected and figured out what was needed and fixed the clog in a reasonable amount of time. He even removed a tough corroded cap on the pipe coming out of the wall below the sink. Anyway, maybe I am relating too many details, but the service was very good, professional and timely. We have been using the services of Charlie's Plumbing for several years now and have been so happy with the service we have received. We have used him for furnace issues, as well as plumbing. He always calls us right back, is able to address the issue promptly and has reasonable rates. With our 100 year old building, we keep him busy!

Jaryd and his team showed up on site with materials already purchased so that the entire process went by much faster than a traditional job. They were quick in and out, and fixed the issue with our ejector pump for our washer both professionally and aesthetically. Jaryd and his team also offer full home services outside of just plumbing work like carpentry, electrical, and anything that may need correction or installation inside or outside of your home. I needed an old garbage disposal removed and a new one (I planned to install it myself, as I had done this before.  This time, my senior citizen back decided it didn't want me crawling under the sink.)

The owner, Nick Nicola (847-828-1141), was highly recommended by several members of a local Elk Grove Vlge., IL,  Facebook group.  I'm now  member of Nick's fan club and understand why Nick is so popular.

He promptly responded to my text message.  Offered to come out the same day (which didn't work for me, so we scheduled an appointment for the following day).  He showed up on time, got the job done (knew what he was doing), was a pleasant, friendly guy and reasonably priced.  I learned that he also does electrical, plumbing and general jobs around the house.

I used to be married to a very handy guy; unfortunately, he passed away.  So, I never had a go to list of handymen.  I am so happy I found Nick.  I will definitely rely on him in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND NIX FIX IT, INC., to anyone needing work done by someone who offers reasonably priced, good, old fashioned service and, HE PROMPTLY RETURNS PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES!!!   Call Nick, you won't be disappointed.

I did not decide to cancel.  The gentleman I spoke to specifically said that he could not guarantee that someone would be able to come out at all yesterday.  So if you were planning on coming in the afternoon he did not sound too hopeful about it.  And yes I was expecting you earlier because that's when the appointment I made 2 days prior was set for. And if you have to bump someone for other emergencies then common courtesy tells you that you should at least call them and let them know.  Let's just call it a clean break and the best of luck to you and your company.
