WOW outstanding doenst even begin to describe the professional work these guys do.

Our main circuit breaker panel short circuited from water damage and we were out of power for a couple days during very cold weather.

I called Marcus and he had a team at our house on Monday (a holiday) and they replaced everything and had our power up and running in less than 8 hours.  They were on time professional polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Marcus came out with them to start the job made sure they had everything they needed and then came and inspected all of their work when they were done.  

I cannot express how impressed I was with the entire experience.  We were quoted $1200 more by the first electrician our warranty company sent out and a 2-3 day completion for less work.  He was not professional and had his son with him and made me very uncomfortable.

I am so glad I called Marcus. Great communication and fair pricing.

We are having him also remodel our basement we are so happy with his work.

We came to Ryan with a maddening intermittent problem: electricity in parts of a house would turn itself off and then turn itself back on, some highly variable amount of time later.  Some times, hours later.  With this happening more than once a day, the house was basically unlivable.

Ryan was able to quickly track down the problem and, even though it was close to the end of a normal business day, he worked well past that to procure the replacement part and install it that same day.

It's been a week with no further incident, so I'm convinced he found the root cause, and I'm as happy as I can be.

Highlights has helped me with multiple electric needs. I am a real estate broker who regularly refers them to clients with fantastic feedback and praise. Most recently, I had a little emergency. I was hosting a small charity event in my backyard, only to find that electricity was running through the railing of my deck! I texted Boz and his team arrived within 20 minutes (after hours) to correct the issue. They saved the party- and our health and safety! It meant so much that they hustled over to help me out. Recently used Urban Power to have third panel installed at my 2 flat in Logan Square and the needed infrastructure installed to house a new third meter.  I found Jake to be easy to work with. I feel all work was completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.  I also felt the pricing was fair compared to other quotes I received.  I felt some of the other quotes I received, the companies were trying to over sell me.  Jake quoted the proper materials need to get the job done.  I would gladly use Jake again in the future and recommend him.

We had the guys install:
-A receptacle for a chandelier that needed to be drawn from canned lighting and switched installed on the door and then they hung an oversize chandelier that looks fantastic
-They grounded our power supply to the garage which wasn't properly completed and it look great
-They fixed multiple outlets and added GFCI outage protector on one
-Installed a new outlet from by pulling from another power supply

Where to start....  Ted is a true professional, we received the quote promptly and were able to schedule an appointment on the spot. Carlos showed up exactly at 9am and dove right in. Extremely friendly guy who knows his stuff. Local guy who lives in the OP area most of his life. Not only did he do the job assigned perfectly, he fixed two of my doors!!! We are now continually feeding them more jobs as I type this. Highly recommended!

Edit: Carlos came back to label the fuse box today. He was searching for some wires that were not contacted. He found two large gaps where my current contractor left where the new rooms met the main house. If he didn't find these I would be in a world of hurt come the next storm! At this point, I can not recommend high enough!

These guys are great - friendly, affordable, professional.  Highly recommended.

We discovered a leak in a pipe from our kitchen sink on a Sunday, submitted a work request online that evening, and it was fixed on Monday.  He had a replacement part on him and we were charged only for the hour visit.

Additionally, Edgar was experienced and professional and was able to fix an issue with our master bathroom faucet within the hour, as well.

The online request form does require that you provide a CC number, and while we did so with trepidation, it all worked out find and indeed made  the payment process seamless when the work was completed.  They are a very user friendly high tech operation - everything done online or via text.  

If we encounter other household repair issues in the future we will certainly consider reusing Fixer.
