We were warned by homeowner friends when we moved into our new home that a good electrician is hard to find. We didn't realize this until our power kept glitzing and turning off in the basement whenever we have space heaters on.  Did a yelp search and got numerous quotes but Stefan's from AC/DC  was the most reasonable.  He came and assessed the problem, replaced burnt-out hazardous outlets and advised us to get baseboard heaters. He came back to install them and create a separate circuit breaker a week later. We are very happy with the work he's done, and we didn't lose an arm and a leg with the price he charged. Yes! We found a good electrician. He's definitely a keeper.

Spoke with Darrel about an electrical issue. He came out same and and looked at the Bob and gave a quote.  Completed the work the next day!  Very professional and knowledgeable!  Great people!!  Great work!

Excellent service! We were having some wiring issues with our a/c unit, so we contacted T&D. Our technician was Rodrigo, and he was fantastic! He was able to quickly diagnosis the problem and setup a plan to resolve the issues. He was very through and explained every step along the way.  I was very impressed by the service we received. We will only be using T&D for any future electrical issues.

Showed up on time for the estimate and was very thorough with what was needed to complete the job right. Although he ultimately did not get the job  I could tell he knows what he's doing.

Last month Joe replaced our old fuse panel with a new 30 circuit 100 amp panel, including new service line and placement outside.  He responded very quickly to our request for a review of the job site and provided a very reasonable quote for the job.

The work was completed as described and on time - he even threw in an extra GFCI socket to boot!  The village inspector complimented the work and gave us an immediate approval.  

Joe is great to work with and I will definitely call him again if/when I need any electrical work done in the future.  I highly recommend Joe.

For all you single women, first time homeowners, who are getting ripped off out there, search no more. Chris is an honest professional. He's done mutliple jobs at my place now and trust me, I've searched the quotes. His work is clean, up to code, and even educates me on the do's and don'ts. For me, this goes a long way. His communication is exceptional, his thoroughness is easily visible, and he keeps it real. when you find a good contractor you share him, because there are a lot of contractors out there that are so demanding and the job is total trash ass. That's the worst.

Greenline was prompt and easy to work with from the start - sent over some times that would work and showed up right on time.

We were having issues with the outlets on one wall going dead and Greenline was able to diagnose the issue quickly and get it fixed. They were also able to assess a standing desk (powered) that had suddenly stopped working and helped us get in contact with the manufacturer to submit a warranty claim on the internal motor components.

Highly recommend to anyone in the Chicago area who needs an electrician.

My mother recently needed major electrical work in her 80+ year old house.  We called highlights and they promptly made and appointment to come out to evaluate what was needed.  within 2 days we had an estimate.  We accepted and work was started immediately.  It took just under two days to complete the project, the workers were very professional and hard working.  Everything was done to perfection and we couldn't be happier.  I would recommend this company without any hesitation.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. I wanted to give a big thanks to Jose and Rodney for the fantastic job they did in our home! We had an entire room needing new recessed lighting where there was none before. They got the job done in a timely fashion and the result is beautiful. We also had sconces put in a wall which never had fixtures there before. Several other electricians quoted a similar price as Tweaks and Finishes, but would not do the patch and paint work for the damages done in the process; they said I would have to hire someone else to patch the holes in the wall! Jose and Rodney did it all, from installation, to patching and painting, from start to finish. No one else that I spoke to offered this complete service! These guys are a great team and are great at what they do.

Had an awesome experience with Jake. I got into some trouble trying to swap out a light fixture and created a bit of a wiring mess for myself that he was able to skillfully clean up. He was able to go pop out and buy a replacement light fixture that would fit my junction box and install that too. While he was at my house he added a plug to a closet that we had been wanting installed since we moved in. Super efficient work, very pleasant interactions, reasonable pricing- I will definitely be calling Jake up again for future work.

Neville and his team did a great job repairing an issue we had at our condo in Lakeview.  We first reached out over yelp to describe our project, and were able to set up an appointment for the next day.  Pricing structure was fair and well communicated, and payment was easy through Venmo.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the work we had done.  Blacklite did a great job and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have electrical work done.

I recently purchased a house and needed to do a few repairs to the electrical system to get it up to code. Ted from Kinetic came out to do an inspection and provide an initial estimate. He was very friendly, thorough and talked through several repair options to fit within my budget constraints. Specifically, I had to have an old electical panel removed, my meter moved, and the system correctly grounded and bonded to the water line.

The team that performed the work did everything exactly as described in the estimate, and it only took a few hours. I was extremely happy with the quality of the work and would absolutely use Kinetic again for future electrical work.

Alex responded to my posting quickly, was clear on costs, and came out at 8am the following day as promised. I gave wrong information on parts and he was ready with solutions to salvage the job and gave great advice. Would definitely hire again.

Cancelled on me last minute (14 hours notice) with no explanation. I had already declined other estimates and hoped to use them for future projects and odd jobs. Save yourself the time and grief of scheduling your day to accommodate and go with someone else.
