Stefan helped fix some electrical wiring on my roof leading to my air conditioner. He responded promptly when I reached out one evening, was able to come the next morning (2 hours earlier than he'd originally estimated), and fixed the issue that day. Highly recommend!

Darrell is the best! Had him redo another electricians work because (my fault) I gave them the wrong power requirements for a Bosch washer/dryer. Darrell was extra cautious in making sure I/we had all the correct information. He did not want me to pay twice for something I didn't need. He then checked (on the weekend!) to make sure the install went without a hitch. That's just plain considerate. I will definitely use his services again when the need should arrive.

Im totally shocked by the professionalism of T&D. I was totally electrified when I called their number and a live person answered the phone, I was able to schedule an estimate for the next day, received a quote about 8 hours after, called the same phone number again and booked the installation to happen immediately. I got a charge out of the payment process, super easy and the quality of the work was really high. The electrician cleaned up after all the work, it was if a lightning bolt busted into the house and fixed all of our problems, leaving behind a faint scent of victory. Before calling T&D, I tried to reach several electricians who never returned my calls or were booked out for weeks, good for them but bad for me, it really took the wind out of my sails (if I only had an electrician to fix my motor).

Came to my residence; diagnose the issue and stated that he will give me an estimate via email. Never heard from him again. Very unprofessional .

Not sure of relationship between reviewer on June 27 and Joe. But I will factually restate what happened on my first and only experience with Joe. He call me at about 11:00 to say he would arrive in 20 min. He arrived about 11:20. Fixed 2 bad switches easily. Then started on the main project, a lighting fixture on our kitchen ceiling. It was a fluorescent fixture with 8 bulbs, custom done. He tried to fix it and recommended upgrade to LED. That did not work. He then said that he could not fix it and I would have to buy a new fixture. He then did proceed to try to fix it more and cut 11 wires (I still have the 11 wires he cut out) while swearing. He then said that it could not be fixed, and we would have to buy a new one. He then charged me $150. I asked for a receipt of labor and parts. He said he did not do that for such a small job. I asked how much the labor was for 1 hour - it was now 12:20. He said he arrived at 11:00. I reminded him that he called me at 11:00 and arrived at 11:20. He then dropped the price to $125 - so I assume $75 for labor (what he had told me his hourly rate was) and $50 for parts (parts being 2 small plastic light switches) A place he recommended to call to get a light replacement confirmed my belief that this would be custom new lighting and extremely expensive. I called another electrician, who came over, replaced the wiring that was cut by Joe and had the light working that day with much better lighting than the fixture had previously. This new electrician gave me an appropriate bill with labor and parts appropriately identified (cheaper hourly rate than Joe I must add). So not sure who Aaron is but given his quick response to my review, I am a little suspect. Do what you want - just want others to avoid my experience.

Chris was AMAZING! He was super reliable and took such great care in my forever home. He has come back twice and each time he has exceeded my expectations and I've already given his info to many friends who could use some electrical work. He hung 3  huge chandeliers with care and even made one work that didn't come with the parts needed from the manufacturer. He then hung an additional 6 other lights and even changed all my lightbulbs so they matched in color!

He also came back and hung two tvs for me the second visit which I can assure you will not be his last!

Received great and prompt service from Edward and Julio to install a nest doorbell that needed extra work than the simple install on the packaging. Julio was very respectful of the end cosmetics and worked with us on very professionally the project. Bonus points for mask wearing!

Had Ryan come out to repair a few lights and outlets that weren't working properly. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix the issues. He realized I liked to try my hand at home repairs and gave me some tips and advice for fixing and diagnosing problems myself in the future. Good work by an honest guy.

These guys are awesome!  I called yesterday, mentioned I have a small job, install one fixture.  They had someone at my home 1.5 hours later, same day!!  Kamal was awesome, he made it happen and is as professional and kind as anyone I have ever dealt with in the industry.  Mike and Malden, they were at my house, ready to work, got the job done, so professional, and informative.  If you are looking for electricians, this group is the one to call. I will certainly use them again..they are the tops.  Typically its a call back, wait a day, and then book a week out.  Nope, not these guys, they hustle and kudos to them!

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. Jose was very quick to respond to me, provided a quote before he came so I knew what to expect, and was flexible when I wanted to add on tasks when they arrived. They fixed up our walls afterwards and worked very hard to keep things easy for us to paint. They were also very conscious to social distance when they came. I highly recommend their work, so glad that we got these items done finally!

Recently used Urban Power to have third panel installed at my 2 flat in Logan Square and the needed infrastructure installed to house a new third meter.  I found Jake to be easy to work with. I feel all work was completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.  I also felt the pricing was fair compared to other quotes I received.  I felt some of the other quotes I received, the companies were trying to over sell me.  Jake quoted the proper materials need to get the job done.  I would gladly use Jake again in the future and recommend him.

Like many of you, I found Blacklite and Neville on Yelp.  I double checked his ratings through fakespot.  This winter was brutal causing a water pipe to burst so to remedy this I decided to install a garage heater.  Most room heaters are just not powerful enough so I opted for a 240V Dr. Heater (electric) which would of course require 1) a 240V outlet and 2) the heater to be hardwired and mounted.

I contacted a few electricians with 4.5+ stars on yelp and heard back from Neville almost immediately.  His responses were prompt, professional, and straightforward.  Pricing was fair with no additional surprises.  I know that many of the more critical reviews lamented that testing was his ideal mode of communication.  This is meant to decrease distraction while he is on the job site.  Also I assume this obviates the need of a dedicated office secretary which cuts down on staff costs and overhead.  I have zero problem with this and actually found it to be way easier.

Scheduling was a breeze.  I got exactly the slot I wanted.  I was provided with a 3 hour window.  Neville asked me for pictures of the circuit breaker panel so he could get all the materials beforehand.  He arrived on time with another electrician.  Before the job began he surveyed the garage, read the instruction booklet, spoke independently to my neighbor who also had a garage heater.  I could tell that he takes pride in his job and great care in both the planning and the execution of these projects.  Hiring a stranger to do any task can be stressful, but I was immediately reassured that he was so thoughtful and methodical.

The rest of the project went very smoothly.  Project time was exactly how long he expected it to be.  He worked efficiently with no breaks in three hours.  I appreciated his surgical attention to detail.  I am very happy with the work and would wholeheartedly recommend Neville.  I love the fact that the work was not subcontracted out and that I worked with the company owner directly.  What impressed me the most from the Yelp reviews is not the glowing comments.  I respected individual responses to these reviews (good AND bad).  It is clear to see that he values feedback and that he takes responsibility when things should have gone better.

Payment transaction was likewise smooth and I received a receipt via email the same evening.  You would be in very capable hands with Neville and Blacklite.  Look no further!

Due to the high number of burglaries, I decided to have exterior motion lights installed.  Boy was I was happy I hired Kinetic Energy!  Employees James and Fernando were extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and their work was neat.  I Will definitely use this company again.

Tom installed a Tesla rapid charger in our garage yesterday. He did this with professionalism and expertise. I will hire him again for future electrical needs.

I will 100% be using Fixer again for any work we need done at our condo. They are extremely quick in responding to requests and we'll priced. Kenny was our technician and he was awesome! We had him out to do some electrical work. He explained everything that he was doing and kept us well informed. Not to mention he was extremely friendly.
