I contacted a few plumbers to get quotes when my faucet started leaking and I also realized that my shut off valves needed to be replaced. The quote from Drain-EEZ was a little higher than some of the others, but Pat really sounded like he knew what he was talking about on the phone. You get what you pay for! I'm glad I ended up selecting them. I also had a pipe start leaking the morning they were scheduled to come over. Pat and Kevin were able to adapt to the additional work and fix everything efficiently. Turns out part of the problem was that the previous owners had cheaped out on their plumbing work and things were wrong. Pat was also helpful in giving me tips/info. For example, since I told him I plan to remodel the bathroom he told me that all the parts they put in can be reused so I wouldn't get tricked into paying for replacements I don't need when I get the remodel done. So happy everything is fixed and I would definitely recommend them.

We are in the process of selling our Chicago condo unit. So we need the issues raised by the buyers to be fixed before closing, which is tomorrow (wish us good luck :-)). I called multiple plumbing companies. Many of the companies with good ratings don't do downtown Chicago, or high-rise buildings, or require owner onsite (which we couldn't because we are out of town), etc. I finally find Fastplumbing, that works in the downturn area, and highrise building, and doesn't require us onsite, and have a fantastic rating!
Mac is extremely kind. When he first visited out building to check the issues out, our doorman didn't let him in because they needed a formal entry permit, even though I informed them by phone ahead of time. So that wasted Mac's time. I was so afraid that he might get angry and not willing to do the work any more. But he came back the next day for the quote and had the issues fixed the day after. For all these, he didn't charge the visit fees. His work is fantastic. And the charges he ask for are so reasonable.
From the interaction I had with Mac, he is a great person with big heart, and a great plumber, who gets the work done! I will recommend him to anyone!

A helpful visit from Pete and Noah at Rescue Plumbing! They assured me that everything was fine from a plumbing perspective and we likely needed an appliance repair person to take a look at our dishwasher. No charge for the visit, and I'll definitely be calling them for any plumbing issues in the future.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. I found First Chicago Plumbing on yelp and requested a quote.  I received a response within 15 mins asking for a picture of the valve that needed to be replaced before i could have the dishwasher installed and 5 minutes later I had a quote that was lower than the other quotes. I was able to call and had an appt scheduled the next day.   They sent me a text letting me know that they would be here in 30 minutes and were on time.  They explained what they needed to do and why and got it down quickly. i will absolutely use them again for my future plumbing issues.

Its hard to find a great plumber - after being ghosted by the first, the second was clueless and left me with zero confidence, sound plumbing was my third attempt to get my water heater leak fixed. I was hopeful based on the previous reviews. The company were amazing! Quick, responsive and reasonably priced. The gentleman who arrived was polite, courteous and professional but most of all he knew what he was talking about. He resolved my issue quickly and didn't try to sell me on a solution I didn't need (unlike the other company). Highly recommend and will for sure use again!

Needed urgent help with a toilet that poured out over the bathroom floor and then poured down into the basement.  Green Tech was out within an hour and had the problem fixed within 30 minutes.  Friendly, quick, and effective service.  Much appreciated.

Our sink was clogged so we called four season's plumbing and they charged us over 400 dollars and couldn't get the sink unclogged because they didn't have the right equipment. We called Midwest Hydro Jetting and they came over and unclogged the sink very quickly. Danny was very professional and an expert in plumbing.

I had a frozen pipe going to the outside spigot that popped at the connection, and despite the crazy snow storm, Adam with Captain Rooter was able to get out quickly and replace the section of pipe so we could get our water turned back on.  He did a great job and even checked some of the other sinks and fixtures to make sure we didn't have any issues.  Polite and professional.  Adam & his assistant wore facemasks and shoe covers which was appreciated.

Spoke with Darrel about an electrical issue. He came out same and and looked at the Bob and gave a quote.  Completed the work the next day!  Very professional and knowledgeable!  Great people!!  Great work!

I recently purchase a new toilet. Although, I have installed dozens of toilets in my lifetime, I recently met my match, with this new purchase. It was heavier than most other models and the bolt holes are hidden from view.  I called ABV plumbing after several attempts at installing it myself. My level of frustration, prior to calling, was off the charts.

The gentlemen from ABV was able to come out within hours.  He took a look at the toilet and my current plumbing. He then immediately went to work. He was courteous and was vigilant about any covid concerns. He even donned protective shoe covers.

He needed to sweat some copper fittings and add a new valve. This was done in under 10 minutes. He then prepared the toilet for install. His associate came and together they lifted the 118 pound toilet onto the bolts in one shot. I would have been jealous if not for the fact that I was so relieved to see this done so swiftly.

The toilet and surrounding area were then wiped clean. I took 59 minutes from start to finish. This would be impressive for even the simplest toilet installs.

I found ABV by using Yelp. I seriously expected him to say the job was too difficult. I am very happy to say I am wrong.

Ride the no-stress express.  Called them on a weekend eve (no emergency) for an upcoming install.  Surprised to get a call back same evening from Demitri (owner).  

He came out the next day for a quick estimate on installing a gas line for new gas stove. Set up a date and time quickly, even came early on the install day.

This company should be called Heaven Sent! They were such a blessing to me and my family. I am so thankful to Juan and his partner for their assistance with finding the orgin of leaking pipe that was the cause a lot of problems and repairing it at a fair and reasonable price! Although, they are a small independent business, they out perform the larger plumbing companies that will come up when you do a Google search! They are polite,  professional and knowledgeable. After having the other major plumbing companies come out and not find the orgin of a leaking pipe, Juan had it pinpointed in about an hour! Him and his partner then repaired the problem in about 2 hours (with no breaks.)  They left all work areas spotless and were very considerate about Covid precautions.  I wish I would have found them sooner!

I'm a landlord and I had somewhat of an emergency plumbing issue at one of my buildings.  My plumber I've used for years has become less reliable and responsive, so I checked out some plumbers on Yelp and called a few.  Noel was the quickest to respond, most professional, and moved his schedule around to help me with my urgent issue.  He coordinated directly with my tenant from there, made it very easy on me, communicated the steps he was taking and kept me in the loop the entire way.  He fixed everything without delay and helped save me from what could have been an ugly situation.  And even with his rush response (called him in the evening and he was there first thing in the AM the next day), his pricing was extremely fair.  I'll be using him again and recommending him to friends and colleagues.
