I had a clogged kitchen sink and very slow draining shower. I called around 7:30am and got a call back within an hour. The customer service person was able to set up a visit same day and she was very nice. Pat came out and was able to fix both issues in very little time. He also pulled out some old metal spring system in the shower that was now an unneeded part of this old house we bought. I had several other questions that he answered and gave me pointers. Great service, extremely nice people. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

Mac completely saved the day by coming out and helping me drain my hot water tank when it started leaking.  This was after 5pm, mind you, which is completely amazing.  

One day later his team (son and crew) were out to replace the heater.  They were on time, professional and did a great job.  My home was back up and running in no time!

On top of all of this, the quotes and prices for their work was extremely good relative to the competition.  

If your hot water heater is older than 10 years, I highly suggest that you consider getting it replaced, include a drip pan (not required by code) and have Fastplumbing247 be your choice to get the job done!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I had to fix a leaky tub in our rental unit and Rocket had good reviews on yelp so I called them and was immediately impressed with their professionalism and customer service.  They scheduled someone to come out later that week.  Marlon checked it out and explained because the plumbing was so old the easy fix might not fully fix the leak, it might be a problem with the entire shower/tub system in the wall which would need to be replaced.  I was definitely not up for a huge project so I told him to go for the simple fix, replace the stems, etc and I would take my chances.  After there was still a slight drip, so Marlon told me to keep an eye on it, allow the new washers to expand and let him know in a few days if the leak was fixed.  In the mean time he didn't charge me for anything and if the leak wasn't fixed he would only charge for parts.  

I was extremely happy with this arrangement, and was surprised that he was ok with me just calling back later to let them know if it was fixed.  A few days later I observed that there was very little to no dripping so I called him back and we settled up.  They had a $49 off coupon on their website so that was helpful.  

I will definitely call Rocket next time we have a plumbing issue.  You can't ask for better customer service and a more professional organization.

Kevin and his guys are too notch . We had to have our tankless water heater replaced only after 4 years . My Husband did all the research and coordinating . Kevin gave us several options to choose from . We were done dealing with the tankless water heater from hell, quietside!! We found out this brand should have never been installed in our climate. The final bill was lower than we thought it would be. Kevin is very reasonable . We will continue to go to him for all future plumbing needs.

Needed help last minute for a catch basin scope and clean. The J Sewer team showed up same day and took care of business. Fair prices, great communication and excellent team.

I have called on Green Tech a couple times...once for my sump pump replacement initially and lately my kitchen faucet replacement. Josh was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave great suggestions/feedback on water issues around my house. I have had no issues with either since. Green Tech is always quick to respond and has excellent customer service!

They were on time. Very respectful of Covid. SO friendly and did great quick work!!! Sadly I've had to work with many plumbers over the years and will be using Midwest Hydro exclusively from now on!!  The prices were correct too!

UPDATED 8/26:

The owner of this company, Jesse, called me to apologize on behalf of the contractor who charged me for not doing anything. He confirmed that the initial consult from Captain Rooter IS free, and promised to issue a refund. Removing one star due to the earlier experience, but adding three to my overall rating because it meant a lot to me to get that call. If I end up using their services for another project that goes well, I'll update this again to reflect that.

I've never left a bad Yelp review (it's true, check my profile), but I want to warn people because I hate contractors that do this (and Captain Rooter said on the phone that they were different). I woke up to a very loud persistent jackhammer type sound coming from the bathroom around 4AM. It eventually stopped an hour or so later, but it was alarming enough that I called Captain Rooter's 24/7 line during the chaos and booked a 9:30AM consult, which I was told was free.

The guy arrived this morning, and looked into the toilet tank (I had removed the lid already). He then diagnosed it as trapped air in the pipes and said there wasn't really anything to do. He said if it happens again, it's a whole building problem and I should contact building management. He then said I owed him $125 for coming out, but if I had $50 in cash he would take that instead to save me some $$. I don't have cash on me, and said I didn't think there was a charge. He said he would call the company and I could Zelle them. The lady on the phone was like, Yep, there's a $185 service fee, here's where to send the payment -- when I corrected her and said that the plumber had said $125 she went, Oops, yes, it's a $125 service fee if he touched anything. At this point, I have been on the phone paying longer than the plumber looked at anything.

I paid, he left. But I feel really taken advantage of. Being a solo female homeowner is a privilege, but it also sucks, because contractors see you as just someone to charge $125 for two minutes of no work for during a free consult.

I had both a minor electrical problem which needed a dimmer switch replaced and then a loose pipe which needed an evaluation as to the appropriate remedy. Sims and Sons  responded to me immediately and within 24 hours sent a knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful technician. Anel, the electrician, was courteous, arrived on time, and fixed my dimmer switch within minutes.

Our sump pump failed at night and I reached out to ABV on Yelp and they responded even after hours to address my concern.  They came the next morning and changed my existing sump pump and even showed me exactly what was wrong with the first one.  Ivo was very friendly and helpful.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

CJ plumbing is one of a few business I would recommend. When I called about relocating a copper pipe they were able to come out that same night and give me a very reasonable quote then came out the next morning to do the work. Lenny did exactly what I asked for and did a great job. I will call only them for my plumbing needs from now on.

We love Mike The Plumber and highly recommend him.  He just assisted us with two small plumbing problems at our new house in Rogers Park.  He was so pleasant to work with, fixed the issues quickly, fixed a few other issues in the process, recommended some changes, and was so reasonable in his price.   He also loves dogs, and took time to pet and play with our two pups in the back yard.  Mike is now our go to plumber, and I suspect our pups will be trying to clog our pipes so that Mike gets a call to come back.

I had Juan and his team to replace a kitchen sink for us. The team was the best. Juan and the team did an excellent job, and they were really fast and made everything look really nice. And they cleaned up everything after they finished. I would definitely recommend him if you need to hire someone for sink installation, the price was reasonable among all others that I requested. I would recommend him to my friends and families as well!

I would highly recommend Five Plumbing to anyone for plumbing issues/fixes.  I contacted Noel about a low flowing faucet in my condo.  He responded the same day, asking for and evaluating pictures of the plumbing in order to best approach the problem.  He even took the time to recommend purchasing a returnable replacement faucet, as it would save both time and money.  On the scheduled day, Noel called me to confirm timing and walk through his recommendations before arriving.  Once here, Noel did a phenomenal job replacing the faucet quickly and efficiently.

I appreciated the fact that he suggested that I first purchase a replacement faucet ahead of time in case the entire faucet needing replacing. He called out that this would save me money in the end because then I wouldn't need to pay for him to come out twice (once to take a look and a second time to replace the faucet). We ended up needing to replace the faucet and with his recommendation I had the replacement on and and we were able to get everything fixed and replaced in one appointment.
