Best Electricians in United States
Yelp requires I give at least a star; I would not give not 1 star. POOR customer service! I left two messages. The second message was a follow up from the first. Not once did I get a call back from this company. I would not recommend this company despite the 5 star ratings from other postings.

We started having some electricity issues in the kitchen and our oven and dishwasher did not have power.
We tried flipping the breaker without and luck.
Corwin was able to get it figured out quickly.

I had a great experience through out my projects with Justin and his crew. Justin was always responsive, showed up when he said they would, and was open to any changes that I had. This was very refreshing as most contractors I've dealt with have not been responsive and just randomly show up. I highly recommend Justin and his crew to anyone needing electrical work. The crew did great work for me and were a pleasure to work with. I'll definitely use Goat Electric again when I need more electrical work.

GG Electric recently did some field work for us on an unusual project: fixing an electrical horse fence. JP and Garrett came out and got muddy and dirty and got in there with the horses and fixed the fence in splendid time!! This job was super-important to us as it's our horses' safety we're talking about and they were professional, extremely well-priced, and fast. I highly recommend this company for unusual jobs and those more routine!

Nice enough team of two men that came out for an estimate. Found them on Home Advisor. They charged $40 for an estimate. We were floored when the estimate for installing sconces, a fan and moving a cable cane to 2800! When broken down they were charging hundreds of dollars for parts at Home Depot we could buy for less than 4.00 a part When we emailed to ask about the markup being so much we never heard back. I guess some people are just suckers and pay whatever they suggest but luckily we knew better. Still mad at myself for going thru Home Advisor to find Tru Tec and paying for estimate too.

We had a great experience with Colvin Electric and can't speak highly enough of Ivan Torres. He was friendly, professional, and very communicative and responsive throughout the service process.
My husband and I initially called Colvin Electric because we'd lost power to one room in our house. My husband has done basic wiring and thought he would fix it himself, but it turned out to be more complicated than he'd expected. Colvin came to diagnose that problem and we also asked them replace our old Federal Pacific breaker panel. They gave us a quote (which was much better than quotes we received from other places) and we scheduled a time for them to come back and do the work. They do seem to be pretty busy, because we had to wait a couple weeks, but we are glad we did. (It seems that most electricians are really busy during this COVID season when so many people are doing home repairs and remodels!)
They replaced the panel and had to test all of the breaker switches to identify them and label them. They were very professional and considerate as they worked through each room in our house, testing outlets and flipping switches. Due to an unforeseen circumstance with the city, the inspector wasn't able to come and sign off on the work, so they had to stay very late and get a temporary approval so that our electricity could be turned on. We appreciated their professionalism, the fact that they were able to find a temporary solution, and that they were committed to staying until everything was taken care of. Due to that situation with the city inspector, they did not have time to fix the electricity in the room we had initially called about! But they got us back on the schedule for the next week and were able to take care of the problem in about 30 minutes! It turns out that the problem started with a neutral on the outlet behind our fridge, which is in a completely separate room than the one that lost power. We were impressed with how quickly and simply they identified and resolved the issue.
They did a great job on replacing the breaker panel and repairing the electricity in the previously dark room! We will not hesitate to call Colvin Electric ANY TIME we need electrical work done.

We called Molitor Electric for the first time a year ago, after enduring several years of lights flickering, breaker switches going off at bad times (when is there a good time?) and network losing connection. Dan Molitor diagnosed the fairly extensive problems, including the fact that our electricity was fluctuating on and off. That's why my ovens (microwave as well as stove) took so much longer to cook everything than they should have. Dan and his team handled everything, diligently and efficiently. And when a city employee caused a delay, which resulted in a power outage for hours, Claudia came over with stick-on lights and a cell-phone battery, and reassurance. They are all such nice people!
So two weeks ago, when I was tired of getting a shock from a light switch in the carport, I got Dan to come again. That wasn't a simple problem either. He had to break through some HardiPlank that was installed by a home improvement company - which I will review harshly elsewhere - and correct faulty wiring that substandard contractors had done in 2015. I also had a new light installed over the front entrance to shine on the address. That took some creative design/ engineering. Dan wouldn't quit until I was satisfied. He and his whole team work so hard, evenings, weekends, all the time! And probably haven't charged nearly as much as they are worth.

Silver Electric and Solar did a great job removing/reinstalling my solar panels so that I could have the roof replaced. They got them taken down the day before replacement, and they had them reinstalled 2 days after the roof was complete. Friendly and patient while I worked things out with insurance/my HOA. Highly recommend!

Veteran Electric is a very professional company. From the moment the team arrived they were professional and considerate. They were extremely forthcoming, and not only gave good service and solved the problem, but went above and beyond to be thorough and clean with the workspace.
I would highly recommend them for their knowledge, professionalism and also their integrity.

Replaced dimmer switch, bulbs and serial connection to the bog pump. Main problem was broken toilet exhaust fan & lamp. Had him swap the unit from upstairs toilet. Purchased a fan from Homedepot which did not fit. He though it could be a 5$ capacitor but he did not have the part. I ended up buying the entire unit online (150$) and fitting it myself. I paid 500$ for the other jobs ( labor only since all parts were on hand already) which is too much!
Called up a different time to enquire how much it would cost to add a separate breaker for a treadmill. The girl answering the phone said that it will cost 59$ to have someone come and quote. I asked for a ball park, low, high and most probable based on their past experience. She stated that it was policy to quote a price only after a visit ....

I'll never know whether they are good or not. Upon getting my appointment a week out, they no-showed without advance notice. I had to call them to find out why no one showed up. Pretty bad when you take off of work to be there and they pull a stunt like that.

One of the top electricians in Austin!! I just did a full house remodel and he did a beautiful job! Matt's Electrical Work did everything from rewiring most of the house to bring it up to code, to adding do recess can lights and adding fixtures and plugs where I needed them. I ended up redoing everything from the bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, living room areas and dining areas. All workers were very clean and professional. The owner called me and addressed every concern and question I had after the job was completed to make sure I was satisfied.

They came out to our home to give me an estimate for outdoor plumbing work. I was not home when they were there and the understanding was they would call me to let me know what the estimate was and what work would be required. They proceeded to do the work without any authorization from me, the homeowner, and then sent me $1000+ bill for the work complete. I called them and explained that I gave NO authorization to do the work because nobody bothered to tell me what the work was and had I known it was going to be over $1000, I wouldn't have gone through with it. Their resolution was to give me a measly 10% discount on the bill. I paid the bill because I'm not a scam artist but they clearly do not follow protocol and they take advantage of their customers. Shame on them.
