I contacted Paul through the Yelp app on Sunday afternoon, because that's when I remembered we needed an electrician. I had purchased LED fixtures to replace the old school fluorescent lights in the garage. He answered right away, scheduled the service call for Monday morning, and emailed the service order. He arrived promptly, got the work done efficiently, and explained why the old fixture died. It was all so easy! Definitely recommend and will call him again when we need anything electrical fixed or replaced.

Very good service for level 2 charge install for my EV. Able to schedule within same week.

Manny was actually early(he called first to make sure that was ok).
He brought an assistant and they handled several jobs for me without a hitch. He had the outlets, exterior covers and everything else he needed in his truck, even though I added some work I hadn't told him about(no waiting for them to run to Home Depot!).
I'm pretty frugal and had quietly decided I'd be happy with anything up to $300 and wouldn't complain up to $400. So I was VERY pleased when the total came to $165.

My house lights were flickering and my realtor recommended a good electrician, Cox electrician.
He only spent half an hour and traced the loose connection. I thought it may take him a while since I have a big house.
Since the electrician charges hourly, it's wise to use an experienced one to save you time and money.
I will recommend Cox Electric.

Had a couple of outlets and an A/C unit go out. Brad was able to come by  right away and after a short time had both the outlets and the A/C working again. Brad was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He even called the A/C repairman scheduled to come out later to let him know the unit was working now. His charge was extremely reasonable and probably saved us a fortune had we called an unscrupulous A/C repairman to look at the unit first.

Fantastic!!!! Monty came last week to connect a smoke detector that apparently hasn't been connected since we built the house in 1999. He spent the time to actually solve our problem. A wire had been cut and was buried in the insulation. A different company told us the problem wasn't fixable :(  Also, his rate was more than reasonable. We will definitely call Monty for our next electrical issue.

Ace/Carl grossly overcharged my job for materials and labor. Not sure why and is disappointing given their previous decent reviews.
2 stars for showing up and completing the work. Minus 3 stars for gouging.

Great experience will Allgood.  I tried another Electrician first but could not get an appointment for 2+ weeks, so they recommended Allgood as a reliable option, so I gave them a try.  I asked for a Saturday appointment and they were able to accommodate (not many quality electricians will).  The electrician was kind and even showed us how to DIY on a few items to save us $$$.  Highly recommend and will use again

Unfortunately, another tradesman that says one thing and does another.  I reached out to Johnny at Cedar Park Electric to install a track light and to fix a four gang switch bank.  The initial call went well where we outlined what was needed.  We agreed to an appointment where he indicated the repairs would be done.  He didn't show up as scheduled.  I called to get an eta and he started in about how busy he was but that he would come after his current visit.  When they did arrive, there were two of electricians and they were not ready.  They did a quick look at the two projects and started complaining about the amount of wiring in the four gang box as well as the heat in the attic for the wiring they would need to do there.  Instead of starting the repair as agreed, he wanted to push us off a couple more days to pick up supplies.  They then left without doing anything.  Maybe he's a good electrician and maybe not.  Either way, that is not a way to run a business or treat your clients.  I decided to go elsewhere for the service I needed.

There are very few times when you have to hire a professional and I recommend Pucek Power. They were very professional and fixed our problem in a very short time.

Do not use Fox.
I manage a showroom. We had a squeaky AC and scheduled an appointment to come have it looked at. I specifically requested a specific  day that Fox agreed to so I would be in the showroom at the time. They showed up a day early because it was more convenient for them without any heads up--I would have happily met them there.
The tech was great and changed our belts. We also needed to change filters but we did not have those on hand. I made an appointment for the next week.
Again, Fox showed up on a different day as what was scheduled. The tech came and mentioned he was here to change the filters. Once he was done he mentioned that he had changed the filters and the belts because they needed it. Keep in mind Fox had changed our belts the week before. This is not something I had asked for and the tech was being dishonest.
He then told me I would still be charged because he used Fox's belts. After some pushback and a phone call to Fox, he said the belts would be taken off my bill.
Frustrated with this dishonesty. Fox did remove the charge from my bill.

Update to my previous review.

After my initial difficulty in connecting with Duhon was sorted out, we set a firm date to get things done. Their crew of three showed up at 9:00 AM and were through with everything before noon. I have lights at my side door for the first time in ten years, I have a place to plug in the electric mower and power tools that's outside the house, and my bathroom has an electric outlet for the first time in its life. The crew cleaned up after themselves well, so I didn't have to spend an hour sweeping and vacuuming debris. The final invoice hasn't arrived yet, but the prices given in the estimate were fair enough.

I'm still holding back a star because of the initial communications thing, but I'm well pleased in the end and I'd use Duhon again.

I have worked with Krista, Rick and Howard on multiple occasions.  On separate occasions, they installed a generator hookup/transfer switch on my house, moved buried electrical and have come out to fix warrantee work (same day!).  I really like working with these guys and they do good work for a fair price.

ATX Lighting also does other electrical work! We needed a new electrical line to a gate across our driveway. JP and Josh did an outstanding job putting in the new line, including some tricky work running the line under a stone pathway. Terrific job as usual, JP and Josh!!

If you like crappy service and poor selection this place is for you! While they did have the bus fuses I was looking for I was primarily in the store to buy a 50amp zinsco circuit breaker. we dont sell circuit breakers I was told. Now what kind of electric supply store doesn't sell circuit breakers? I'll tell you, a crappy one.

Ian and Trevor were nice, efficient and professional. They put our ceiling fan up in no time and even impressed my hard to please hubby.  I would definitely use them and Startech Electric again.
