Excellent service as always.  Arrived on time and did excellent work.  Made sure we were satisfied with our new ceiling fan and outdoor Ring motion light before leaving.  They are also very careful to clean any debris and leave things nice and clean.  Great work, great service and great pricing!  Highly recommend.

This was my first time hiring electricians to work on my first home. It's an old 20s house that was converted from a triplex, so there are some caveats and weirdnesses electricians may run into.

James Cox came recommended by two of my closest friends. He did some under-the-cabinet lighting for them, and it looked like it had been done with love and care.

I had a hard time getting ahold of them at first; I think my friend had given me the wrong number. When I finally did get ahold of them, they were eager to come out and give me an estimate. James helped brainstorm through the things I was requesting and trying to decide on, and he was very knowledgable. A good example was that I'd been thinking of adding over-the-cabinet lighting since there's a space between the ceiling and the cabinets in my kitchen. He took the time to discuss with me the pro's and con's of the different light types I could use, and why some would be better for my purposes than others. I could tell he was enthusiastic about this stuff, and he told me specifically he liked the idea of branching out beyond just electricity.

There were a few gripes. The first was that James was late to the initial meeting, and he didn't call. After about half an hour I called to see if he was on his way. He was, and apologized for not calling. If he would have originally said, Between 9am and 11am instead of At 9am I would have expected this, but that wasn't the case. It wasn't too big of a deal however, since I work from home. On the day the work was scheduled, the guy who James sent out to do the actual work was also late... but this time by like an hour or something. However, he was friendly and obviously knew his stuff.

The only other complaint I had was that the job was botched a little bit. The walls I have upstairs in my house (where some of the work was being done) are extremely thin... maybe around half-a-foot. I didn't know this, and neither did he. So when he attempted to drill through the attic floor to snake the electrical cords through, he poked a hole in the ceiling. This was an easy mistake to make, but he made it three times, all in separate places. To his credit, he left and came back with putty and spray texture, and stayed late to patch the hole up and try to make it match the rest of the texture on the walls. He swept up a little bit, but I still had drywall dust on my things and now have conspicuous white spaces that I need to paint over.

Over all, I'm happy with the work they did. I think the lateness is just the nature of the beast with contractors sometimes, and the thin walls were curveballs no electrician could have anticipated. The combination of these things made the whole experience less than stellar, but I'd probably hire them again.

We had a power outage at our business recently and we found Brad online.  It was early in the morning and he was the only electrician we could find that answered the phone.  He was out within 20 minutes and determined the issues within a few minutes.  Without his help we would have been down longer.  We have been needing an electrician for some time and after this quick response I think we have found one.  Brad was very professional and nice to work with.  He charged us what I thought was very fair and honest.

We needed some major electrical work done to our house that had been vacant for a while and was wired incorrectly.  We found Monte's company, Greenbolt Electric on the internet and he came by quickly and gave us an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done.  He completed all of the work correctly, promptly and up to code.  It was no small task and everything is working great!  
Being a contractor myself, I am very picky about how any work is done and how a company does business, Greenbolt Electric did not disappoint.  I will definitely use them for any future electrical work I need done and I would and will recommend him to anyone!  Plus...he's just a really nice guy :)

I called Stolle Electric recently when I needed to have two hardwired smoke detectors replaced in my home.  Bob Stolle was able to squeeze us in the very next day and did an excellent job.  I am a very pleased customer and will definitely call  Stolle Electric again if any needs for an electrician should arise.

Our 4th project with DMC Electric. Even though we have scheduled conflicts at times, he still manages to do a great job. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough positive things about Alejandro. He was everything anyone could ask for in a contractor. He was on-time, fast, thoughtful on how to approach each task (I had wires run between floors and instead of just cutting the drywall, he was able to avoid that and save me the hassle of having to patch those holes.)
I've had Alejandro help run wires in the kitchen ceiling (no attic access) and he did it the same day I called and in less than an hour. (I worked on it a chunk of the day, then he shows up and completes the task like it was nothing.) I was so happy, I had him come back out to run some Ethernet cables between floors, again, a job perfectly done. I also had him install some recessed lighting in the den. Another job well done. Things went so well, I had him run some speaker cables from my office to he back patio. An easy one, but I'm still very happy with the results. If I ever have any electrical work needed, Alejandro is the only person I'll call.
Seriously, use his services, you won't be disappointed!

I've had Johnny and Terry out 4 times now and each project has been perfect.  First, they fixed a wiring issue that i had from splicing an outlet to power an outdoor shed.  Next, they added an outlet to the outside of my house, tying in through brick to an existing circuit.  Next, we had a window added to our house, and they were able to move wiring from the window opening that ran up to the second story.  Finally they just fixed a set of canned lights that had gone bad and added an additional one to brighten a dark hallway.  Everything they do is great.  Super clean, very high quality.... I can't recommend them enough.

There are very few times when you have to hire a professional and I recommend Pucek Power. They were very professional and fixed our problem in a very short time.

Jeremy did an excellent job fixing our hot water heater, talking to us and explaining what he was doing and what our options were, the whole way. We really appreciated his great customer service.

Update to my previous review.

After my initial difficulty in connecting with Duhon was sorted out, we set a firm date to get things done. Their crew of three showed up at 9:00 AM and were through with everything before noon. I have lights at my side door for the first time in ten years, I have a place to plug in the electric mower and power tools that's outside the house, and my bathroom has an electric outlet for the first time in its life. The crew cleaned up after themselves well, so I didn't have to spend an hour sweeping and vacuuming debris. The final invoice hasn't arrived yet, but the prices given in the estimate were fair enough.

I'm still holding back a star because of the initial communications thing, but I'm well pleased in the end and I'd use Duhon again.

Joe and his apprentice were absolutely fantastic!!!  They diagnosed the problem with our ceiling fan quickly and already had the right parts with them.  Joe was super knowledgeable with 20 years of experience as an electrician and also very professional and courteous.  He even cleaned up my floor after the job!  They secured the partially detached ceiling fan and got it to work normally in less than an hour, including getting up on the attic to replace the entire supporting bar/bracket.  The final bill was also less than expected.  I would definitely use them again!

Loved their work in assembling the detailed fixture. It wasn't the easy job, we were looking for the right persons to do this in our first house and can't complain on how they have done.

I had an electric motor for a scuba compressor that died so I emailed Hamilton Electric to see what they could do.  After a couple emails Bart asked me to call him so we could discuss in more detail.  We had a really good conversation regarding my options and he suggested it would be in my best interest to go with the existing model that I have from another vendor.   When I started to take the motor apart I found the problem and emailed him again.  He suggested I bring it in for him to look at.  In the end he sold me a new capacitor and the motor is back up and running. He was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful.  I know I'll be back if I have any more motor problems with any of the various mechanical systems in my house.

Ian and Trevor were nice, efficient and professional. They put our ceiling fan up in no time and even impressed my hard to please hubby.  I would definitely use them and Startech Electric again.
