Paul replaced an outdoor light fixture for us.  He was fast, courteous, and did a great job!

I called three different electricians and couldn't get a hold of anyone. When I called Edge, I was connected with Kelly. After I explained the problem I was having, Kelly quickly identified the issue and walked me through how to fix it myself, no appointment necessary. I had a small electrical job to re-route conduit and electrical boxes.  It was a simple job that would take 4 hours max.  The first quote I received from a different electrician was $800.00 which I found offensive.  I called M-1 (Manny) and he scheduled to come out and he arrived even EARLIER than promised (8:00 a.m.).  He digested the job and said it would take him 3 hours (4 hours tops) plus material.  He said, I'll do it for $500.00.    So we had a deal!

He knocked it out in 4 hours and did a very nice job using U-strut.

I have used Cox electric 3 times in the past few years for all sorts of electrical needs in my house, from hanging chandeliers to dimmers to installing flood lights.  James and Doug have always been extremely professional, courteous and I've never had an issue afterwards with malfunction, like I had previously experienced moving into my house.  They also have always come to my house within a few days of my phone call, so I don't have to wait weeks and weeks, which is great!  Their prices are completely reasonable and worth every penny.  I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We found Brad online with great reviews. We just moved from New York to Spicewood. We needed a general house electrical inspection done along with having a generator bypass circuit installed, and wiring run to our well shed for a water softener and UV system.
Brad was extremely easy to work with.  He came out and did the inspection  all checked fine. Looked over what was needEd and said he would be back in a couple of days.  True to his word, 2 days later he was back and work done in 1 day.  Clean, neat work. Very pleasant to chat with.  Prices very reasonable.
1 day later, we called with a problem with the well.  He came out in 1 hour.   Totally unrelated issue but he resolved it.

We needed some major electrical work done to our house that had been vacant for a while and was wired incorrectly.  We found Monte's company, Greenbolt Electric on the internet and he came by quickly and gave us an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done.  He completed all of the work correctly, promptly and up to code.  It was no small task and everything is working great!  
Being a contractor myself, I am very picky about how any work is done and how a company does business, Greenbolt Electric did not disappoint.  I will definitely use them for any future electrical work I need done and I would and will recommend him to anyone!  Plus...he's just a really nice guy :)

I can't say enough about Ace electric.  I called him in a panic because both of my AC's had shut off (and so had the panel).  He tried to trouble shoot with me over the phone.  Then he came out to me (on a weekend) within half an hour.  Turns out it wasn't an electrical issue at all- it was a plumbing issue- the overflow valve  shut off the AC's.  He actually proceeded to unclog my drain!!!  Then he charged me such a reasonable price!  He is also such a nice guy and gives out his cellphone number so you can reach him.

I was very happy with the service and the communication. Overall the job went great, and timely.

I needed an electrician ASAP after a small fire in my home in Buda, TX.  Based on the reviews in YELP, I called Bob and explained my situation.  Bob was able to come the same day.  He thoroughly evaluated our electrical system and restored electricity.  His fee was very reasonable.  Bob is a super nice person, and is extremely knowledgeable. I feel much safer after his evaluation.  His fee was also reasonable,  Thanks Bob.

Our 4th project with DMC Electric. Even though we have scheduled conflicts at times, he still manages to do a great job. Highly recommend.

Alejandro did several jobs at our home and my husband and I are very happy with the results! We will definitely be calling him for any other jobs that come up. We highly, highly recommend him!

I submitted a request via Yelp. Debbie responded super quickly. We chatted on the phone and she was able to get someone out same day to check it out, which was awesome. Once I scheduled the appointment, I got a text message confirming the appointment. Brian called to let me know they were on their way.

Brian and Anthony came right  inand checked it out. I explained that I needed help with a smart switch I was installing and couldn't get it to work. They knew exactly what needed to be done and how. They let me know how much. I agreed and they went right to work.

Those guys were very professional. Had great conversation. Was super cool geeking out with Anthony on Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit and other epic novels.

Once they were done, they cleaned up, I paid the invoice and they were off. What I also really appreciated was that they explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Plus they gave some invaluable advice on another project I want to tackle.

Jonny was amazingly helpful on the phone.  He was going to come out the same day for my electrical emergency.  When I found out that the issue is covered under my home warranty, he was very cool about it.  And he even offered to talk with me on the phone to answer any questions I might have about what the other guys would need to do at the house.  Very good customer service.  And he was highly recommended by another  electrical company that wasn't available on the same day.  I would definitely call Jonny again.

Pucek Power & Electrical Service: Josh, the owner is very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. He was upfront with his cost and did a thorough job including cleaning the area in which he worked. He gave me a 30 minute window (not 4 hours like other companies) to arrive at my house. I live in Round Rock. It is a 45 minute drive from Bastrop. He was right on time. I have been in the customer service business for over 25 years and have a choice in the company I use for my electrical repairs. To summarize my experience, I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company for your power and electrical needs. Josh is a family, God loving man and I will use Pucek Power & Electrical Service for all of my future needs!

I am a happy customer.   Came home from work,  and walked into a hot house. After checking  a few things myself, it was time to call a pro. Scott their technician was able to come out and get the unit up and running. This was an after hours call out [10:30 pm] which cost more but was not unreasonable. Scott was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue in a few minutes. Total time on site, approximately 1 hour. Will use this company again if needed. Thanks Scott

William came by today to install several lights to highlight some paintings in our home and refit some old can lights in the kitchen. He brought his crew, Ben and Raoul to assist in this project.  They did the job efficiently and with great fan fare.  The banter was hilarious as was the fact that Raoul didn't like anchovies on pizza.  Ben, who I think is 9yrs old, was a budding apprentice and was polite when he addressed me.  After everything was installed, the lights didn't work.  I blame this on Raoul who blamed it on Ben, who intern held William accountable, but after awhile, we realized it was actually my fault for wanting new lights in the kitchen in the first place.  This is how the day progressed, it was fun and the job was completed on time and in the manner I wished it to be.

With that in mind I would say todays experience was excellent, marvelous, magnificent, superb, fine, wonderful, superlative, exceptional, first-class, first-rate; informal, great, terrific, tremendous, super, amazing, fantastic, sensational, fabulous, ace, neat, killer, crack, A1, awesome, bang-up, skookum, out of this world; smashing, brilliant, remarkable, extraordinary, exceptional, striking, eye-catching, arresting, impressive, distinctive, unforgettable, memorable, special, momentous, significant, notable, noteworthy and generally William is an all around good guy.

Joe and his apprentice were absolutely fantastic!!!  They diagnosed the problem with our ceiling fan quickly and already had the right parts with them.  Joe was super knowledgeable with 20 years of experience as an electrician and also very professional and courteous.  He even cleaned up my floor after the job!  They secured the partially detached ceiling fan and got it to work normally in less than an hour, including getting up on the attic to replace the entire supporting bar/bracket.  The final bill was also less than expected.  I would definitely use them again!

TLDR: ATX Lighting wired an installation incorrectly and caused additional electrical issues and refused to fix the problem or issue a refund. I DO NOT recommend - stay away if you've experienced electrical issues from the recent ice storm.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We hired ATX Lighting to install a bathroom exhaust fan/light combo at a rental property owned by my mother-in-law.  They didn't bother to give her an update or provide proof that the exhaust fan and light were working appropriately or even communicate to her that the installation was complete. Apparently installing an exhaust fan didn't include running the ductwork from the fan to the exhaust outlet in the roof - if we'd have known that, we would've hired a full-service company to install the exhaust fan and duct work. $300 to complete an exhaust fan/light installation + $350 for installing braces for the exhaust fan (literally just nailing in 2 boards into the existing ceiling joists - see pics). JP was super unhelpful and said that everything was working when they left (again they provided no proof or communication to my MIL that everything worked) but somehow was no longer working when I went to check. We had another electrician come to fix what ATX Lighting messed up (see my other reviews for a good electrician) and he found out that ATX Lighting had wired the installation wrong causing additional issues with other lighting in the bathroom and the breaker to continuously trip.

I brought my lathe into Hamilton yesterday and it was fixed by this afternoon!  I don't know if they are always that fast or if my job was just a simple fix but I was pleased with the quick service!  When I dropped it off there were a couple of younger guys (nice enough) who helped me out and when I picked it up today the two brothers (owners I think) completed my transaction.  They were totally nice but not in that uncomfortable way that makes you think they haven't talked to a female in a decade (which is kind of typical in male dominated industries/shops) and they even carried my heavy dirty machine out to my car which is very thoughtful I think.  I hope that I won't be needing any electrical services in the future but if I do manage to break one of my tools I will definitely go back to them.

This company sent two young men over yesterday to fix our hot water heater. It took them all of 5 minutes to diagnose the problem-two loose wires that needed to be connected.  When I ask them if they were sure that was the problem, they assured me it was.  Guess what? We have no hot water and they will not answer their phone/emails to address their incompetence.
