ATEC Electric completed a very challenging install of a large light fixture. They did some troubleshooting and came up with a way to complete the job on a timely manner. It was clear the company aims to provide quality work at reasonable rates. Paul is really good at communicating with you and making sure that you are satisfied with the work.

I called three different electricians and couldn't get a hold of anyone. When I called Edge, I was connected with Kelly. After I explained the problem I was having, Kelly quickly identified the issue and walked me through how to fix it myself, no appointment necessary. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable electrician in Buda, call Edge--and ask for Kelly!

I had a small electrical job to re-route conduit and electrical boxes.  It was a simple job that would take 4 hours max.  The first quote I received from a different electrician was $800.00 which I found offensive.  I called M-1 (Manny) and he scheduled to come out and he arrived even EARLIER than promised (8:00 a.m.).  He digested the job and said it would take him 3 hours (4 hours tops) plus material.  He said, I'll do it for $500.00.    So we had a deal!

He knocked it out in 4 hours and did a very nice job using U-strut.

On time and provided quality work.  My only issue is the service call rate of $149... My fault.  I should have asked when I called.  Overall, good experience.

Great electrician! He came out and fixed my issue in about 2 minutes, but he took the extra time (at no additional cost) to rewire my GFCI outlets the correct way so that the issue wouldn't happen again in the future. Hugely appreciated and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic!!!! Monty came last week to connect a smoke detector that apparently hasn't been connected since we built the house in 1999. He spent the time to actually solve our problem. A wire had been cut and was buried in the insulation. A different company told us the problem wasn't fixable :(  Also, his rate was more than reasonable. We will definitely call Monty for our next electrical issue.

I'm a local plumber and have known Carl and his son DJ for a few years now. Every time I've ever needed an electrician I call these guys, they do it all. They are very responsive, reliable, incredibly honest and fair, they always do a good job. Most recently we were remodeling a bathroom for a customer when we accidentally cut a wire in half which caused us to loose power to the bathroom. Dj came out with his 2 apprentices Eden and Trinni, they were awesome, problem fixed promptly and professionally. This is the only company I plan on using for all the times I need a professional electrician and I will always refer these guys to my friends, family and customers because I have no doubt they will do a great job and take care of the customer. Great service and price - installed a light in the laundry room and power outlet in upstairs room.

Mr. Stolle is fabulous.  I had just moved into a new home and had numerous things I wanted and needed done.  He came at the time agreed upon, followed up with questions about each job I needed done and even agreed to take on two other jobs for me.  He was here all day and took down 4 fixtures and replaced them with ceiling fans.  He installed a new motion detector, changed out the cord of my dryer, and fixed my electrical panel that had not been installed properly which was pointed out by the home inspector.  He got all of this done and charged me fairly.  I will definitely use him again.

Super friendly, very communicative, worked quickly and efficiently. He was super knowledgeable, flexible, and had very fair pricing. We will definitely be using his services again!

Alejandro is awesome. We had a bad circuit breaker and he went out of his way to explain everything, replaced the breaker and went above and beyond to check all our outlets! His price was extremely reasonable. It was like if you had a good friend who was an electrician. He didn't leave until everything was perfect. We are a lifetime customer. If you want the best, he's it.

I submitted a request via Yelp. Debbie responded super quickly. We chatted on the phone and she was able to get someone out same day to check it out, which was awesome. Once I scheduled the appointment, I got a text message confirming the appointment. Brian called to let me know they were on their way.

Brian and Anthony came right  inand checked it out. I explained that I needed help with a smart switch I was installing and couldn't get it to work. They knew exactly what needed to be done and how. They let me know how much. I agreed and they went right to work.

Those guys were very professional. Had great conversation. Was super cool geeking out with Anthony on Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit and other epic novels.

Once they were done, they cleaned up, I paid the invoice and they were off. What I also really appreciated was that they explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Plus they gave some invaluable advice on another project I want to tackle.

Johnny and and Terry are as good as they come. They are responsive and honest. They recommended a solution that was less expansive than I was expecting. Would definitely call them again to resolve any electrical issue with my home.

Wanted to take a minute and give a shout out to this hometown company! You will not be disappointed in the responsiveness of this company or their work. Their rates are completely comparable to other places here in town the difference is that you can text the owner and get things done, quickly and efficiently! We have used them twice for jobs at our business and plan to use them soon for some work at our home. Consider Josh Pucek if you want to shop local and be pleased with your end product!

Good deal. No issues. AC compressor quit turning late Friday afternoon. Hate when that happens. House started getting hot very quickly. Called Fox. Quoted $140 to show up this evening or $70 for tomorrow. I went for the asap option. Tech called me within an hour and came over. Fixed my AC within 30 minutes. It was a capacitor in the compressor. Two hours of downtime and $273 later, it's all good. I have no complaints. Would call them again.

I'm really perplexed why they show 4.5 stars. They are unresponsive. I spoke to someone briefly and they asked me to text them my information and they'd get back to me with a time for an estimate. That's not happened. A simple reply. I would use someone to do work who is reliable.

After reading the reviews further, it looks like being unresponsive is a common trend with this company. Also William seems to have a lot of excuses in his replies. Be sure to read beyond all the 5 star ratings.

This company has no clue what they are doing. Dealing with the owner seems to be more of a challenge also (Rick). They do not seem to want to honor their work from hanging light fixtures to outlets. They like to charge for simple things rather than honoring their work. Don't worry though estimates are FREE!!

Their specialty seems to be motors. I went in with a very old exhaust fan motor I needed replaced. They didnt have one exactly like it. So they took a similar one, cut the shaft to size, cut off mounting screws that would have been in the way, gave me a couple of wire connectors cause I said I didn't have Any. All for no extra cost. Can't beat that kind of service.

Ian and Trevor were nice, efficient and professional. They put our ceiling fan up in no time and even impressed my hard to please hubby.  I would definitely use them and Startech Electric again.
