Paul did a great job replacing my old light fixtures with canned LED lighting. He installed new LED lights in the garage. Also replaced a bad light switch, installed a dimmer and replaced old hard wired smoke detectors. Overall excellent job and took care of a lengthy list all in an afternoon. Saved me a lot of time! It was also nice to get a quick response on my questions and coordinate a time to do the work. Thanks!

I lost electric service to my bathroom and called Cox Electric after reading other reviews. I was informed about their charges upfront.  I called in the morning and had my service quickly  restored that afternoon at the minimum charge. He was very knowledgeable immediately found the problem.

Had a couple of outlets and an A/C unit go out. Brad was able to come by  right away and after a short time had both the outlets and the A/C working again. Brad was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He even called the A/C repairman scheduled to come out later to let him know the unit was working now. His charge was extremely reasonable and probably saved us a fortune had we called an unscrupulous A/C repairman to look at the unit first.

We needed some major electrical work done to our house that had been vacant for a while and was wired incorrectly.  We found Monte's company, Greenbolt Electric on the internet and he came by quickly and gave us an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done.  He completed all of the work correctly, promptly and up to code.  It was no small task and everything is working great!  
Being a contractor myself, I am very picky about how any work is done and how a company does business, Greenbolt Electric did not disappoint.  I will definitely use them for any future electrical work I need done and I would and will recommend him to anyone!  Plus...he's just a really nice guy :)

The worst I have encountered. Instead of re-routing wires, they chose to place two receptacles in the wall. And, failed the inspection twice. HORRIBLE.

I was very happy with the service and the communication. Overall the job went great, and timely.

I called this morning to see if Bob could replace a GFCI outlet that is tied into a pool pump. He was able to come the same day and showed up at the time he said. He was able to quickly replace the GFCI outlet so I had him replace a ballast in an overhead fluorescent light fixture, too. He's a fantastic electrician!! He's fast, efficient, and very reasonable with his prices. I'll definitely use him again and I highly recommend him!

Johnny and and Terry are as good as they come. They are responsive and honest. They recommended a solution that was less expansive than I was expecting. Would definitely call them again to resolve any electrical issue with my home.

Wanted to take a minute and give a shout out to this hometown company! You will not be disappointed in the responsiveness of this company or their work. Their rates are completely comparable to other places here in town the difference is that you can text the owner and get things done, quickly and efficiently! We have used them twice for jobs at our business and plan to use them soon for some work at our home. Consider Josh Pucek if you want to shop local and be pleased with your end product!

Had an appointment for 8a-noon window made several days before.  I called at 10:30  and 11:30 and was told I should hear from them soon, and that they would call 30 min before they arrived.  At 12:45 I called them to cancel because it was obvious they weren't even going to arrive within an hour past the end of the window.  No calls from them.  I cannot recommend.

Update to my previous review.

After my initial difficulty in connecting with Duhon was sorted out, we set a firm date to get things done. Their crew of three showed up at 9:00 AM and were through with everything before noon. I have lights at my side door for the first time in ten years, I have a place to plug in the electric mower and power tools that's outside the house, and my bathroom has an electric outlet for the first time in its life. The crew cleaned up after themselves well, so I didn't have to spend an hour sweeping and vacuuming debris. The final invoice hasn't arrived yet, but the prices given in the estimate were fair enough.

I'm still holding back a star because of the initial communications thing, but I'm well pleased in the end and I'd use Duhon again.

We hired this company a little less than a year ago to put in all new lights and fix outlets that were not working. On one light the electrician installed a new switch a way he was not supposed to and it was not until he showed back up later that day with his boss to look at it that we were even told of the issue. They had to put an extra hole in the ceiling of a bathroom that is covered with a plastic plate now. They hung several lights on chains that we have since had to redo because they were having from the cord itself and not the chain. The outlet they fixed have all 1 by 1 stopped working. And now less than a year after paying them hundreds of dollars to do all this work half the outlets in my home don't work and I'm now paying a new electrician to come fix everything.

The staff was very nice but not knowledgable when it comes to actually doing the installation or repair of lights or sockets.

Beware. I'm a single mom and they think it's ok to treat me bad. They came to me and quoted me for 400 to do the job. Before installation was done bumped the price to 750 to finish.
When I called complained they said their manager doesn't know what he is saying and he was out of his mind. I was scared to leave electrical outlets unfinished with the small child in the house and had to pay.
Didn't validate their work and sent me $50 request on top to check. Communicating very aggressively. Want this kind of experience? Hire them. They do a bad business and mention God when they do it.

These guys are great. I took my AC fan motor to them, thinking it was failing. They tested it and verified it works perfectly. They then diagnosed my real problem was a simple capacitor that had failed instead. $4.65 instead of $100. Sure enough, the new capacitor fixed my AC problem. So if you have any electric motor, pump or control needs, these are the guys to go to in Austin.

Startech did an amazing job not once, not twice but all six times I've had them come out to our house to update lighting or to add on to our ongoing projects.  They are professional, kind, fast, honest, problem solving and very easy to work with.  You can't go wrong giving them a call and putting them to work.  They put up 7 fans, 8 lights, added exterior outlets, added interior switches and outlets and everything they've touched has been done perfectly.  Very grateful to have them for this work and my future projects.
