Excellent service as always.  Arrived on time and did excellent work.  Made sure we were satisfied with our new ceiling fan and outdoor Ring motion light before leaving.  They are also very careful to clean any debris and leave things nice and clean.  Great work, great service and great pricing!  Highly recommend.

Thomas did great work! I had a 60A circuit installed for our hot tub with conduit running down the side of the house. I supplied the breaker box and breakers, because they told me it'd be cheaper to go buy it at Home Depot! I don't think you can get more honest than that. The work itself is cleanly installed and was done in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Edge Electric.

Let me start by saying Manny knows what he is doing, very reasonable  pricing (price to win business) and professional in all aspects.
I was looking for someone to install a charging point for EV and did not know where to begin. Stumble upon Yelp and requested a quote. Didn't realize that the request went to at least 8 companies (kudos to Yelp for this feature!). Received quote ranging from 200-2000. You guess it right; Manny came back with the lowest quote and offer a no-fee-onsite-estimate. Came out on time as promised and he had my business in less than 15 min. Took ~2 hours to install a new point and cleaned the garage after work. New point works!  I'm a happy customer. He will be my go-to person for any electrical work in future.

Cox I hired Cox Electric to fix items found during the inspection of an old house I bought.
The washer and dryer were not hooked up by the movers because the dryer cord did not match the outlet. Cox replaced the cord and reminded me that someone had to attach the dryer exhaust hose. He caught me off guard because the washer and dryer are in a tight space and I knew nobody could not get to the dryer without moving the washer. It would have been so easy to attach the exhaust hose while he was working there. I did not ask, I just assumed he would do that. On top of that the water to the washer was not turned on. I paid Cox $275.00 to install 3 nest smoke detectors but they never got connected to my phone which needs to be done prior to attaching them to the ceiling. Today I had to pay someone else to make both work.

Brad Parker Electric, fast service and fair pricing.  Brad was able to provide same day service. Our new dryer didn't work and we found out it wasn't the dryer so it had to be an electrical problem, Brad found the problem and had it up and running quickly .

I have had the pleasure of using this company twice now and I can say they are fantastic!!!!  Monte was very quick to come to my rescue and fix my issue not once but twice and both times neither were his problem!!!  I would highly recommend him and his company.

I found Ace Electric thanks to Yelp's conversation asking about an electrician.  

Carl from Ace Electric just came over and finished the job.  I had a short in the house that I couldn't figure out what went wrong.  Others charge $150 and Carl did the job within the service call price.  Almost half of the other guys!!!!

I called him and he showed up within 20 minutes!  Very professional and trustworthy.

Carl is a master electrician of 25 years and been working in Austin area for 35 years!!  A good price and lots of experience.

3 stars, because several years ago we had a decent experience. Recently, not so much.
Asked them to come out for estimate for several fixes our inspector identified, and to fix our door bell.
The guy wrote up an estimate, and said he fixed the doorbell by connecting 2 wires. Before he left, I asked if it was fixed and then he tried it & still no sound. He then said trouble shooting would be an extra $189 on the estimate..
My husband replaced & installed the doorbell for a fraction of the cost.
We got an estimate from another company and it was $130 less.

Unfortunately, another tradesman that says one thing and does another.  I reached out to Johnny at Cedar Park Electric to install a track light and to fix a four gang switch bank.  The initial call went well where we outlined what was needed.  We agreed to an appointment where he indicated the repairs would be done.  He didn't show up as scheduled.  I called to get an eta and he started in about how busy he was but that he would come after his current visit.  When they did arrive, there were two of electricians and they were not ready.  They did a quick look at the two projects and started complaining about the amount of wiring in the four gang box as well as the heat in the attic for the wiring they would need to do there.  Instead of starting the repair as agreed, he wanted to push us off a couple more days to pick up supplies.  They then left without doing anything.  Maybe he's a good electrician and maybe not.  Either way, that is not a way to run a business or treat your clients.  I decided to go elsewhere for the service I needed.

This electrician came here on a holiday just to make sure we are safe.  He was friendly and he showed us the problems.  He did a great job.  We found him in line and called because he had great reviews.  I am so glad we found him. He is awesome.

Update: after placing this review FOX reached out to try to figure out what happened. After a few back and forths, they accused me of being a competitor. (Which I'm not) Then once my review went to the filtered section, they stopped responding to me. Classy.

William came by today to install several lights to highlight some paintings in our home and refit some old can lights in the kitchen. He brought his crew, Ben and Raoul to assist in this project.  They did the job efficiently and with great fan fare.  The banter was hilarious as was the fact that Raoul didn't like anchovies on pizza.  Ben, who I think is 9yrs old, was a budding apprentice and was polite when he addressed me.  After everything was installed, the lights didn't work.  I blame this on Raoul who blamed it on Ben, who intern held William accountable, but after awhile, we realized it was actually my fault for wanting new lights in the kitchen in the first place.  This is how the day progressed, it was fun and the job was completed on time and in the manner I wished it to be.

With that in mind I would say todays experience was excellent, marvelous, magnificent, superb, fine, wonderful, superlative, exceptional, first-class, first-rate; informal, great, terrific, tremendous, super, amazing, fantastic, sensational, fabulous, ace, neat, killer, crack, A1, awesome, bang-up, skookum, out of this world; smashing, brilliant, remarkable, extraordinary, exceptional, striking, eye-catching, arresting, impressive, distinctive, unforgettable, memorable, special, momentous, significant, notable, noteworthy and generally William is an all around good guy.

I just moved to Pflugerville and had a few electrical issues pop up in our home.  When I called our home warranty, they put us in touch with Lightning Electrical.  Two electricians, Israel and Rene`, came out the next day to fix the problems.  They were prompt, courteous, very knowledgable, and provided a great service.  These two guys did a fabulous job diagnosing, fixing the problems, and offered some helpful information.  While they were here, I asked if they could install an outlet in a bathroom that did not have one.  They were so nice about doing that extra bit.  The price was very reasonable.  I would definitely recommend Lightning Electrical, especially these two electricians.

Although I had to decline a spa motor repair because of cost (due mostly because I played with it first) their service department cheerfully took time to find the information I needed to get the correct replacement from another source.  If I hadn't messed it up to begin with I'm sure I'd have had it repaired for almost half the cost of the replacement.  These are good folks.

Can't really speak for their actual service, but my attempts to get these folks to come out to my house for some actual electric work was sorely lacking. I took the time over the weekend to complete their rather extensive form on their website requesting service. After completing it, I received an email saying someone would call me. By Tuesday I hadn't heard anything so I called their number. The man who answered proceeded to lecture me about how nobody really uses their Internet form (about 1 in 550!) and he really doesn't pay attention to that stuff and I should use the telephone. When I pointed out that I used the form because it was late at night, again, he said I should have called and left a message. WELL, EXCUSE ME!
