Paul knows what he's doing.  Very knowledgeable.  He was on time.  The price was reasonable.  He was super nice..went above and beyond.  I was very happy with the service from Atec.   Thanks Paul!!

After I explained the problem I was having, Kelly quickly identified the issue and walked me through how to fix it myself, no appointment necessary. Let me start by saying Manny knows what he is doing, very reasonable  pricing (price to win business) and professional in all aspects.
I was looking for someone to install a charging point for EV and did not know where to begin. Stumble upon Yelp and requested a quote. Didn't realize that the request went to at least 8 companies (kudos to Yelp for this feature!). Received quote ranging from 200-2000. You guess it right; Manny came back with the lowest quote and offer a no-fee-onsite-estimate. Came out on time as promised and he had my business in less than 15 min. Took ~2 hours to install a new point and cleaned the garage after work. New point works!  I'm a happy customer. He will be my go-to person for any electrical work in future.

Called to request an appointment, and he was at my home first thing the next morning at 8 a.m. - exactly on time.   He fixed the problem quickly, was polite, courteous, and most importantly, very fair in his pricing.  Mr. Cox is the first electrician in Austin that I would recommend and I will definitely use him again. A+ service.

We had a power outage at our business recently and we found Brad online.  It was early in the morning and he was the only electrician we could find that answered the phone.  He was out within 20 minutes and determined the issues within a few minutes.  Without his help we would have been down longer.  We have been needing an electrician for some time and after this quick response I think we have found one.  Brad was very professional and nice to work with.  He charged us what I thought was very fair and honest.

Greenbolt Electric has helped me on two jobs now and has been absolutely fantastic. Unlike most competitors, they're very responsive, ask good questions, arrive when they say they will, and complete the job much more quickly that I expected. Best of all their prices are very reasonable.

If you want to pay more for worse service then choose the other guy, if you want great service at reasonable prices then choose Greenbolt. You will be happy that you did!

The guys did an AMAZING job!! We had a lot of work done including running wire an adding switches, new light fixtures and an electric fireplace to a bathroom we enlarged, adding a light fixture and wiring for a wine fridge in the kitchen, installing a ceiling fan in our living room which has a 24ft ceiling. They were always patient, kept the work area very clean and just a pleasure to have around! They are also very reasonably priced and came up with some creative ways to help us solve problems. We will only use Ace!

Tito was awesome, responsive and great value! If you need an EV charger installed, Tito is your guy.

Several outlets in my kitchen went out all at once, including my oven. A friend recommended Bob, so I called him. He came out and was able to figure out what the problem was much more easily than I was expecting. He fixed the problem and I think his rates were reasonable. He was also friendly and did not leave a mess. I am very happy with the service I received from Bob and will call him again when I need an electrician.

Arrived earlier than scheduled time and completed work as discussed. Great to work with!

I called Alejandro to switch out a countertop outlet for an outlet/switch and wire the switch to a new outlet in the cabinet above my microwave (so that I could do some DIY under and over cabinet LED strip lighting with the new outlet).

He quickly called me back after I left the voicemail with a reasonable price, and came out the following afternoon to do the work. He did the job well, and quickly. He even brought out his vacuum to clean the dust from the work.

I'll definitely call him next time I need more electrical work! I would definitely recommend Alejandro.

I have used this company twice now and I they will be my go too every time. They give great prices and excellent service.

Jonny was amazingly helpful on the phone.  He was going to come out the same day for my electrical emergency.  When I found out that the issue is covered under my home warranty, he was very cool about it.  And he even offered to talk with me on the phone to answer any questions I might have about what the other guys would need to do at the house.  Very good customer service.  And he was highly recommended by another  electrical company that wasn't available on the same day.  I would definitely call Jonny again.

What a great company! We needed electric installed on a large garage we built at our home, and chose this company because of their website; how professional it was, their emphasis on excellent work that is not farmed out to other people , not to mention their emphasis on family values. True, a company can say anything and end up being horrible, but in this case, we are so happy we chose them for this project. Owner Josh inspired confidence by arriving when he said he would, communicating along the way, and ensuring we were on the same page with our expectations. His employees showed up on time both mornings of the project and never stopped working until quitting time. They were quick, thorough, detail oriented, super nice and helpful. Pricing was fair, and when you factor in not having a single glitch and not having to micromanage the work, it's almost a bargain. We would use this company for any future electrical project and refer them to anyone needing electrical work.

Final update.

The customer service Manager explained  that the technician overcharged me when it came to the price of the items. So for example he noted that the capacitor charge of $185 should have included the labor charge. Similarly for kickstart item. The $245 should also include the labor charge.

All in all he agreed to refund me $119. It took almost a week for the refund to appear on my credit card. I wish I did not have to go through to fix an AC capacitor!  

And hence is the change of rating to 3 star from 1 star.

I advise that if you are going to use the company to actually do some research upfront and do a price comparison. Without a doubt they will be a little bit pricier than of course buying the part yourself and DYI because they would need to pay the technicians The staff  ... Etc. I think that should be fine if it is reasonable.

the manager was friendly and wanted to resolve the issue and come to common ground.

Look somewhere else, unless you want to get ripped off. Never again.
The AC capacitor was out.  I called them, here is the list of charges:
Kick Start $245  (in the market, its a $45 part)
Dual Capacitor $185  (in the market its a $39)
Labor $69  (took them 5 minutes to replace)
service call $59
Environment charge $20.
and in order to get these 'discounted' prices, i had to buy priority one service for $169.

this is the definition of rip-off. I am sad about them, as i trusted this company for along time!

William came by today to install several lights to highlight some paintings in our home and refit some old can lights in the kitchen. He brought his crew, Ben and Raoul to assist in this project.  They did the job efficiently and with great fan fare.  The banter was hilarious as was the fact that Raoul didn't like anchovies on pizza.  Ben, who I think is 9yrs old, was a budding apprentice and was polite when he addressed me.  After everything was installed, the lights didn't work.  I blame this on Raoul who blamed it on Ben, who intern held William accountable, but after awhile, we realized it was actually my fault for wanting new lights in the kitchen in the first place.  This is how the day progressed, it was fun and the job was completed on time and in the manner I wished it to be.

With that in mind I would say todays experience was excellent, marvelous, magnificent, superb, fine, wonderful, superlative, exceptional, first-class, first-rate; informal, great, terrific, tremendous, super, amazing, fantastic, sensational, fabulous, ace, neat, killer, crack, A1, awesome, bang-up, skookum, out of this world; smashing, brilliant, remarkable, extraordinary, exceptional, striking, eye-catching, arresting, impressive, distinctive, unforgettable, memorable, special, momentous, significant, notable, noteworthy and generally William is an all around good guy.

Thank you for being honest,straight forward and fair! As a senior citizen it is very important where we spend our money and another electric repair company close by wanted to charge us  thousands for the fine quality work you did for a one hour trip charge! Great work, awesome job! Thank you.

Even in the midst of the great freeze of Austin 2021, ATX Lighting was still able to make time within all the hectic and craziness to come out and make the repairs to my system. Sometimes a little communication goes a long way and at the end of it, they handled the situation well and got techs here to get us up and running again. Will definitely recommend to friends and neighbors!

I have purchased several replacement motors from them.  I found out the hard way. One of the motors shorted out within the warranty period.   I tried to get a replacement under the warranty and they would not honor it.  I had to leave the shorted motor for their repair department to verify warranty.  Which took 4 working days.   At that time they said the motor was under stress and must have been pulling more load then it could handle.  I purchased a replacement new motor.  I installed it and checked the load draw. It was in specifications.  I no longer buy motors from Hamilton due to not honoring warranties.

Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, etc... Highly recommend.  More than fair pricing.  Very impressed.  I will always use them when needed.  You can't go wrong.
