Wish I could give ATEC Electric more then 5 stars.  Paul and his son Justin came out on Sat. to fix what I thought was a tricky problem. He had the issues diagnosed and presented  solutions within minutes. He was extremely reasonable in price and will definitely get my business in the future. If you need an electrician then Paul Solis is your man and the best Electrician in the Austin area.

Really thankful for the team at Edge. Kelly called me back pretty quick after I put out an inquiry on yelp and squeezed me in for an quick assessment in between jobs.

The main job was to get an outlet installed for an EV charger and Kelly's expertise was top notch when it came to explaining my system and recommendations for placement and their quote was very fair.

I had Kelly check another issue for me that wasn't part of my original inquiry and he took the time to figure it out and got me booked for someone to come and do the work really promptly.

Charles came out and assessed the problem and resolved it within minutes, explained the issue and answered questions I had with expertise. He also helped me answer a few more questions about some things with switches, very friendly and overall this team was solid.

For me, the price of the service wasn't even a question by the time these guys were done. Even if they were on the higher end of an Electrician's cost (which they're not, they're right on par) it would have been worth it for all the things so explained here.

Appreciate this team and would trust them with any and all jobs I need completed in the future.

I highly recommend this company. They quickly responded to my questions and came out to give me a quote. They called to let me know they were on the way, and they even charged me less than they quoted me.  Great service, great prices.

We have used Cox Electric a few times and the performance and reliability of service that James offers is outstanding.  James is consistantly ON TIME and straightforward in approach, he eliminates all the shadiness that skilled tradesmen are often plagued with.  His genuine and straightforward nature is also reflected by his billing and while he likely isn't the least expensive, is certainly competitive and will get the job done correctly.   Tradesmen  with this level of respectability are few and far between and if we could give a six star review, would be glad to do so for Cox Electric.

We found Brad online with great reviews. We just moved from New York to Spicewood. We needed a general house electrical inspection done along with having a generator bypass circuit installed, and wiring run to our well shed for a water softener and UV system.
Brad was extremely easy to work with.  He came out and did the inspection  all checked fine. Looked over what was needEd and said he would be back in a couple of days.  True to his word, 2 days later he was back and work done in 1 day.  Clean, neat work. Very pleasant to chat with.  Prices very reasonable.
1 day later, we called with a problem with the well.  He came out in 1 hour.   Totally unrelated issue but he resolved it.

We needed some major electrical work done to our house that had been vacant for a while and was wired incorrectly.  We found Monte's company, Greenbolt Electric on the internet and he came by quickly and gave us an honest assessment of the work that needed to be done.  He completed all of the work correctly, promptly and up to code.  It was no small task and everything is working great!  
Being a contractor myself, I am very picky about how any work is done and how a company does business, Greenbolt Electric did not disappoint.  I will definitely use them for any future electrical work I need done and I would and will recommend him to anyone!  Plus...he's just a really nice guy :)

We had power go out in three different rooms of our house and called Carl's team to help us find and fix the problem due to his rankings on Yelp. He was very responsive - he called us before he showed up, found and fixed the problem quickly, and explained the issue to us clearly. He and his partner hunted down the issue to a single switch that had gone out in our attic and fixed it up like new. If we have any other electrical needs, we will definitely give them a call back!

I was very happy with the service and the communication. Overall the job went great, and timely.

I called this morning to see if Bob could replace a GFCI outlet that is tied into a pool pump. He was able to come the same day and showed up at the time he said. He was able to quickly replace the GFCI outlet so I had him replace a ballast in an overhead fluorescent light fixture, too. He's a fantastic electrician!! He's fast, efficient, and very reasonable with his prices. I'll definitely use him again and I highly recommend him!

Absolutely fabulous. Everything they have done for me has been spot on perfect. They arrive on time and do perfect work. They are my electricians for life! They installed my hot tub and 220 volt service flawlessly among many other things.

This company is very prompt and reasonable.  The owner, Troy, called me back the same day and made a service call to my home on a Saturday morning.  Most other companies I contacted had an outrageous hourly fee and nearly doubled for a weekend appointment.  Troy was very reasonable with his pricing and fixed my outage within an hour.  I highly recommend Allgood Electric!  They will be on my speed dial!!!

Johnny answered the phone the first time I called. He was able to give me an estimate based on a photo and the details I shared. He scheduled the service within three days. He called before he arrived and was on time. The job turned out to be a little more complicated than we expected but he came up with a solution. Pucek Power & Electrical Service: Josh, the owner is very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. He was upfront with his cost and did a thorough job including cleaning the area in which he worked. He gave me a 30 minute window (not 4 hours like other companies) to arrive at my house. I live in Round Rock. It is a 45 minute drive from Bastrop. He was right on time. I have been in the customer service business for over 25 years and have a choice in the company I use for my electrical repairs. To summarize my experience, I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company for your power and electrical needs. Josh is a family, God loving man and I will use Pucek Power & Electrical Service for all of my future needs!

I'm new to Austin and was having a tough time finding someone to install my gas dryer!  Fox was responsive when other companies were just too busy and the service technician was very friendly and efficient!  I have Fox in my contacts now for all of my future needs.

Poor communication and follow up.
I had to chase them for a quote and follow up again and again. Perhaps business is so good that service doesn't matter. Big thumbs down!!!
If you have a small project, find someone who cares. They want to present themselves as the local Austin guy- sorry that isn't this company. Move on

Rick was awesome! He installed my hot tub electrical box. I am glad to see him still in business as it's taken me years to write this review for him (sorry!). I still think of how friendly, professional, and fair he was with pricing.

I now have a new hot tub, same electrical box. It was installed now 9 years ago! LOL

I highly recommend him for any electrical needs.

Beware. I'm a single mom and they think it's ok to treat me bad. They came to me and quoted me for 400 to do the job. Before installation was done bumped the price to 750 to finish.
When I called complained they said their manager doesn't know what he is saying and he was out of his mind. I was scared to leave electrical outlets unfinished with the small child in the house and had to pay.
Didn't validate their work and sent me $50 request on top to check. Communicating very aggressively. Want this kind of experience? Hire them. They do a bad business and mention God when they do it.

I had an electric motor for a scuba compressor that died so I emailed Hamilton Electric to see what they could do.  After a couple emails Bart asked me to call him so we could discuss in more detail.  We had a really good conversation regarding my options and he suggested it would be in my best interest to go with the existing model that I have from another vendor.   When I started to take the motor apart I found the problem and emailed him again.  He suggested I bring it in for him to look at.  In the end he sold me a new capacitor and the motor is back up and running. He was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful.  I know I'll be back if I have any more motor problems with any of the various mechanical systems in my house.

I wanted to give a shout-out to StarTech Electric. A few days ago I used Startech to add a 60amp breaker box in preparation for some new pool equipment. They had previously given me an estimate for the work (no charge for the estimate). It was a pricey job as expected, but when they actually got into the garage attic to begin the work, they discovered untapped electrical resources. Bottom line, they did a great job (thanks Ian and Trevor) and charged me considerably less than I was originally quoted due to decreased labor and materials. That is honesty!
