Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

Trying to get a contractor out to do the less exciting work is difficult right now.  Multiple contractors told me remodels only and 1 even told me nothing under 20k!  Previously I had contracted with Lowes for my door and they backed out because it was too hard (I kid you not!).   I was straight with Vlad about my less than exciting needs and he was more than willing to do the work. His estimate was the same as Lowes and fairly priced.

Vlad told me his team would be there at a specific date/time.  They showed up EXACTLY as promised to the minute.  They worked efficiently without need of support from me and came prepared to do the job.  I got 1 call about something they saw while working the property; this was my issue, not theirs and I appreciated the fact they told me what they saw.   They didn't mind the fact I would sneak out to look at their work (I like to watch professionals do their job; its fascinating!).  They cleaned up nicely, walked me through what they did, and I paid with a check no hesitation.

So my photos are of the unpainted result; this was as I directed Vlad and his team.  One photos is of a piece of drywall that was sagging that he replaced.
But what I would want you to notice is that the texture in consistent and lines up with the original texturate on the gypsum.  This is what a professional should do; but not all professionals actually do this!  The second photo is of an access door to my air handler that he replaced.  Not exiting; but it had to be done!

Jeff is such a great southern gentleman. Really good and conscientious handyman. I truly, highly recommend him for any home repair you might have. Really, you'll be happy you read this.

Daniel and Israel did an amazing job! They're knowledgeable, very hard workers, friendly, and extremely skillful! It was a pleasure having them do the railing, tile and steps! Everything turned out beautiful! Please see pictures below.

We decided to have our rear patio and front porch upgraded and refinished from plain concrete. Daniel from Copper Sky Concrete came out to show us the different possible finishes we could have, the different looks they would give, and took measurements. A couple of days later I received his quote which was detailed and seemed very reasonable.  After the work was completed, we were very happy with the end result.  Daniel's workers were efficient, professional and friendly.  They cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day.  About a week after the work was finished, Daniel made another trip to our house to see what we thought of the outcome.  He was happy that we were happy.  I highly recommend Copper Sky Concrete for any refinishing and resurfacing needs you may have.

First let me say I understand COVID has hurt supply and made things much more difficult.  I get that.  We started working with budget in March/April.  They informed us COVID had made things difficult so they were not taking deposits until work was about to start.  Awesome, love that.  However, they made us believe that we were on the schedule and gave us an estimated start date.  When they came out for the estimate they were rushed and spent less than 10 minutes with us.  The price was right so we went with them anyway.  We picked our materials, went back and forth in design (through email)  their invoice was not professional or descriptive, it was impossible to see what the charges were for as it was not itemized.  They finally called late June and said they were ready to start, they came out and explained they were having problems finding pumps so they weren't sure how this was going to go.  I said we should wait until you have the pump (no use having a new pool with no pump) I then called my local pool store and they had 9 of the exact model that budget told me was no where to be found and it was 300$ cheaper than budget told me it was being raised to.  I informed budget of this.  They said maybe we will have you buy it then and we will put it in. Ok fine let's do that.  We were set to start in just a few days and they emailed me saying they were not going to take my project because of labor issues.  This is a small operation so they don't keep supply on hand, they seemingly have very little help.  If you've been trying to get your pool done you know lead times are crazy.  We went with this company and they gave us the run around for 4 months and then cancelled days before they said they would start.  I am grateful they did not take my money but disappointed they even entertained my project and wasted my time.  Given the current state of things I would recommend people pay the extra money and go with a larger company that has reliable labor staffing and supply.  We are very happy with our new pool company choice even though they were 5k more than budget it's made a huge difference.

Rob and his team did a fantastic job staining our Tahoe Donner home.  It was the first time we'd had our cabin re-stained since purchasing it in 2014, so it was definitely in need of some care.  Rob managed to find the original stain color that was used on the exterior and decks.  As a result, our home has never looked better.  

Rob was very easy to deal with -- he's a friendly guy, with a focus on customer service. As the work dates approached (and once the work commenced), he stayed in regular touch with me by phone, which was helpful since I was down in the Bay Area while he was doing the work.  

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Rob also provides great work at an excellent value -- he gave us the best quote of the 3 companies we reached out to, and completed the work on-time and on-budget.  

We will not hesitate to use United Paint and Stain again the next time the exterior of our home needs a little TLC. They're great!

Jason and his team delivered a great product.  We did a full front and back yard landscape job from scratch, so there were many elements.  Hardscape, Planting, Turf, Sports areas, Pavers, Structures, Misting all turned out fantastic.  Jason was on top of ordering and getting jobs completed even with extreme supply and labor shortages.  Would absolutely recommed and work with Flowing Wells again.

We had a roof leak into a very small space behind our water heater. There was small water damage and a bit of mold. Other companies quoted us $1700-2700 because they wanted to remove the water heater. Elias was able to do it for a third of the price without removing the water heater! He was a great contractor to work with- let me know when he was on the way and was very understanding of our wanting to keep costs down. He did a great repair job and we plan to ask him to help us with other projects in the house. Thanks Elias!

Travis and Lisa painted our home exterior and also did some interior painting. They were fast, reliable, detailed, and very reasonably priced. Good, honest people with a great work ethic. I'd recommend them without hestitation.

Shane, the owner, was fabulous to work with. He arrived on time, scheduled us right away and his workers were fabulous. They resurfaced old, painted pool decking and did an amazing job. We are going to use him again to drain the water and acid wash it now because we just moved in and have no idea how old the water is. I would highly recommend him.

Just opened my second spa! And of course I had to call the Spice Girls!! They help my salon look super cute super girly and super friendly I am so happy with the work they do!

When we knew we were going to build a pool, we got 4 quotes (wanted more but some company's didn't call us back....). Randy returned my call, agreed to meet at the house to give me a quote. He was the only one who called the day of the appointment to confirm (a professional detail nobody else performed). In honesty, his was the most expensive quote...yet....he also seemed the most professional. His contract is all inclusive: if a price goes up, you don't pay the increase. Once the contract is signed that is all you pay. From the time we signed our contract to the time the equipment was purchased the price went up $7K - we didn't pay another penny!

The quality of the work is terrific. The communication is the best. Randy (the owner) or Matt (Randy's assistant) show up to the site any time there's a sub contractor. I think the thing that really separates Desert Art Pools from other pool builders is that they build every pool as though they are building it for family!

While the pool isn't finished....we are days (maybe weeks) ahead of schedule. Let me ask you this, who do you know that is any days ahead of schedule in this post covid Summer of 2021? Neighbor across the street is months behind (he went with a company that didn't even call us back). Same neighbor has been uncharged thousands of dollars for unexpected work. With Desert Arts, if there's an unexpected expense....Desert Arts has it included -- no surprise contracting!

If you want a team that shows up, does the job, tries to do the job as quickly as possible, treats you like you are family and not just a check....I really do suggest you go with Desert Arts.  

We will continue to use them post pool build as our pool service people.

Steve and his crew did a amazing job installing our awning. These guys are fast, dependable and very reasonably priced. We will be using them again in the near future without a doubt!
