Wanting to get a new toilet installed, I made several frustrating calls to plumbers (who quoted outrageous prices and time frames) and other handymen (most didn't return my phone messages) , I contacted Jake, who promptly answered his phone. He quoted a very reasonable fee and could come that afternoon.

He was timely in his arrival, very courteous, and a neat worker who knew what he was doing. The installation was completed very quickly. I told him his fee was too low and paid him extra. I highly recommend Jake and I will call him when I need his services again.

There isn't enough stars for Schott Development, they deserve 1000x1000. Chris and his team are amazing and the work they do is beautiful. They take pride in ALL there jobs they do big or small. If you can think it, they can build it. I highly recommend them on your next project you have.

Robert from West Haven Builders removed a wall,  popcorn ceiling and moved electrical outlet/light.  He always responded quickly. His quote came in at a competitive price. What I really appreciated was he kept me informed and updated, was on time. He also always kept the work area cleaned and cleaned up when finished. I will definitely use West Haven Builders again. Tatum and Ray were highly recommended. I got several bids and their's was comprehensive and fairly priced. This was a unique project where we retained the flooring, fixtures and some of the walls. But the plumbing, sinks, counters, tile, some cabinets, mirrors, shower wall and glass are all new. There were many challenges since this was not a rip and replace. During the five week project, Tatum kept everything moving, came up with creative solutions, and kept his commitment to deliver the bathroom we wanted. I highly recommend Ouellette General Contracting.

I received a quote and was charged $500 more than quoted.  They did not properly clean the base cabinetry and stains started to show through the paint within 2 weeks.  Scheduling was very difficult and last minute.  Also, they promised to return and put new hardware on the cabinets, but never came back despite multiple messages left.  I had to hire another handyman who came and completed the job for me.  He did a great job, but cost me another $400.  I would not recommend this company at all.

In March 2015 we used Able and Ready for 15 small to medium jobs that made up a light remodel in our home. ( We had them do Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, and Drywall ) ... Some jobs were quoted lower than expected and some higher than expected. Overall they did about $17K of work. They sent good workers, came when scheduled, came back to fix things (drywall) when it wasn't done right. We are happy with the results. We will call them for more jobs in the future. They acted as Generals and subbed out a few of the jobs when their own guys were booked. When we had a personality conflict with a subbed plumber that came to replace a shower valve, head, and faucet they got on it and sent another (much more pleasant) plumber immediately. Glad we used ABLE and READY. They do good work.

Great Company! They have done several projects for me over the years. Recently they did my front entry & walkway in stamped concrete...and it looks great! I have had no problems with this company or with the work they did. Their crews are some of the hardest working fellas I've seen and they know what they are doing...you can tell. I have recommended them to several of my family & friends and they were very happy as well. Thanks again for a job well done! Cheers!

Nick and Tyler just completed our renovation in MMR today. The entire home was renovated in 3 months and every attention to detail was addressed. They responded to every phone call or text in a timely fashion and helped keep me in budget. I would highly recommend this team for a large project or small one. Extremely frustrated with our experience with this company. We ordered our gate through Lowe's. Filled out all necessary paperwork, etc. When our gate was done - it was wrong. We ordered a center-mount lockbox and the gate came in with a latch. My husband and the Lowe's guy looked at the paperwork and - sure enough - Great Gates did our order incorrectly. When Lowe's called GG to ask what had happened and to re-order our gate, GG claimed they lost the paperwork. Seriously?? Ya think maybe CALLING THE CUSTOMER WHO IS PAYING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR SOMETHING would be a good start? Back to the drawing board. More than a month and a half later, my husband stops into Lowe's to inquire about our gate and the Lowes associate claimed he did not have record that it had been delivered. He went into the back and - guess what - our gate was there with NO PAPERWORK ATTACHED. It had sat there for a week or two!! What's worse was - THE GATE WAS WRONG AGAIN!!! Great Gates put a lockbox on it but it was IN THE WRONG PLACE!!! Despite filling out paperwork TWICE and the Lowe's associate AND my husband going over the entire order IN DETAIL OVER THE PHONE - GREAT GATES GOT THE ORDER WRONG AGAIN!!! It's now been THREE MONTHS since we ordered our SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR GATE and we STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR CORRECT GATE.

I do not recommend this company AT ALL. According to the Lowe's associate, we aren't the only unhappy customer. Associates have been telling store senior management that this is not a good representation of Lowe's core values and they do not like this vendor at all.

*** update It was not even 9am when both my husband and i received calls from the production manager at Whiting/Great Gates. He is coming to our house today for personal attention. I am very pleased with their response thus far and look forward to finally having our gate. Will update later.
