Wanting to get a new toilet installed, I made several frustrating calls to plumbers (who quoted outrageous prices and time frames) and other handymen (most didn't return my phone messages) , I contacted Jake, who promptly answered his phone. He quoted a very reasonable fee and could come that afternoon.

He was timely in his arrival, very courteous, and a neat worker who knew what he was doing. The installation was completed very quickly. I told him his fee was too low and paid him extra. I highly recommend Jake and I will call him when I need his services again.

Robert from West Haven Builders removed a wall,  popcorn ceiling and moved electrical outlet/light.  He always responded quickly. His quote came in at a competitive price. What I really appreciated was he kept me informed and updated, was on time. He also always kept the work area cleaned and cleaned up when finished. I will definitely use West Haven Builders again. I called Gordon Enterprises Contracting with regard to a renovation and they got back to me almost immediately. The owner, Alex was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We set up a meeting to discuss a large-scale bathroom and kitchen renovation. Alex was able to give me a timely free estimate and scope of work. We had met with other contractors prior and in comparison we are so glad we went with GEC. They are family owned and operated, prices are competitive and our extensive renovations were completed on time. He and his guys were always on time and professional on-site. They walked us through every step of the renovation process. Their vast experience and professional demeanor get my recommendation! I will always go to GEC for any future projects. 10/10 company. Ray and Tatum are experts with home renovations and have great personable skills. Their company has done several home projects for clients of mine. They can do something as simple as repairs all the way to building you your own custom home. When you think General Contracting.. think Ray Ouellette.

I received a quote and was charged $500 more than quoted.  They did not properly clean the base cabinetry and stains started to show through the paint within 2 weeks.  Scheduling was very difficult and last minute.  Also, they promised to return and put new hardware on the cabinets, but never came back despite multiple messages left.  I had to hire another handyman who came and completed the job for me.  He did a great job, but cost me another $400.  I would not recommend this company at all.

Able and Ready did a full kitchen cabinet installation for me. I was present when they did their work. Having previously worked construction and serving as my own general contractor for my house remodel project, I asked for certain things to be done a certain way, such as how dishwasher hoses were to be routed; number of holes I needed and their placement; routing of electrical lines; et al.  Turc, the crew lead, and I believe the company owner, worked well with me to accommodate what I needed to ensure I would have no issues with later appliance installation.  I found the crew to be pleasant, professional, timely, and complete, to include an excellent clean-up after the work was done. I would happily work with them anytime again.

Do not use this company people walk away! Every person you speak with is rude and don't let you speak they talk over you, I lost a lot of money with this company please go look at the BBB reviews on this company it's all horrible just horrible..

Nick and Tyler just completed our renovation in MMR today. The entire home was renovated in 3 months and every attention to detail was addressed. They responded to every phone call or text in a timely fashion and helped keep me in budget. I would highly recommend this team for a large project or small one. Whiting iron/Great gates, the owners Trey (Dad) ,Tyler (son), tom (salesman) John ()installer  were all quite good . The quote i received had quality components and it was 28% less expensive than 2 others plus two more. Had one cheaper but did not trust that company and one about the same. had 5 quotes total. I chose whiting because of the salesman Tom he was first contact. I had the attention of all named above, owners Trey was out twice to measure and make sure done right the first time and Tyler followed up with design and of course the installer John and helpers were out a couple time and did a great install, they have great pride of workmanship! Thanks guys.
24 foot dual opening gates (12' each side), 2 liftmaster DC motor automatic openers, powder coated, counsel hinges.  They also recommended masonry people to complete the block columns for gates to be installed on . Everything went exactly as planned and without a hitch. The Gates are beautiful, work well and adds value to property as well as protection. They even had follow up work to be done and that was accomplished in a timely manner without me calling them to get done. In all one of the best contractors i dealt with in building my home for 1 1/2 years. Top Notch  highly recommend. Thank you Whiting iron/Great gates. MVM
