Wanting to get a new toilet installed, I made several frustrating calls to plumbers (who quoted outrageous prices and time frames) and other handymen (most didn't return my phone messages) , I contacted Jake, who promptly answered his phone. He quoted a very reasonable fee and could come that afternoon.

He was timely in his arrival, very courteous, and a neat worker who knew what he was doing. The installation was completed very quickly. I told him his fee was too low and paid him extra. I highly recommend Jake and I will call him when I need his services again.

We're quickly closing on the completion of our master bathroom remodel. Chris (owner, Shane (operations) and Jim (foreman) have been fantastic throughout the project. They've been clear, honest, communicative and flexible. We're extremely happy with the finished product and hope to work with Schott again in the future for other remodeling needs in our house.

All of this said, we highly recommend Schott to any homeowner considering upgrades in their home. This is a team that you can trust and who will be straight shooters from start to finish. Kudos to the Schott Team!

Robert from West Haven Builders removed a wall,  popcorn ceiling and moved electrical outlet/light.  He always responded quickly. His quote came in at a competitive price. What I really appreciated was he kept me informed and updated, was on time. He also always kept the work area cleaned and cleaned up when finished. I will definitely use West Haven Builders again. Needed some work done due to water damage from the condo above me.
Not having had anyone to rely on... I went to Yelp!
Alex from Gordon Enterprises answered me first and within 30 mins.
He came to my home assesses the situation and said he'd have an estimate in a few days.
I received the estimate and was most pleased.
May I add that Alex is so friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything that would be done and the time frame.
Today is the finished product.
Excellent job. Done right on schedule.
Professional workers and great work.
I will schedule my next project with them soon.

They came out and were able to fix the issue.  There was a bit of a discrepancy in the quoted price versus the actual price when the tech came out to fix the issue.  However it understandable.  Overall good service.

Michael did a really great job! He was very conscientious about doing good work and I appreciate that. I would hire him again.

Brian and his team were very professional, reasonably priced, and did an beautiful job.  I had them paint my baseboards and doors as well as our kitchen cabinets.  I would highly recommend their services!

I have a cabinet delivered from an antique store alley Under the Eaves. Their delivery guys dropped this huge thing down the stairs..ripping the railing out of the wall and smashing the plaster on the wall all the way down too. The cabinet wound up with one door completely ripped off and the other hanging!  I called Able & Ready and they came out right away, and made things like new! Awesome work on something I thought was beyond help. And I figured my job was so odd and small in scope that I would have not find anyone to even so it. They are A plus professionals!!!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Wish we would have seen the reviews before hiring this company to do landscaping for us. It took them 3 months to finish our  project and it was a nightmare for us dealing with them. Like some of the other reviews stated, the management of this company is horrible. They bully you to make progress payments each day they come out to do work. Progress payments were never in the initial contract. We gave them a down payment and thought the final payment would be due when the work was completed to our satisfaction. Instead we ended up writing them over 5 checks and the workers would not leave until they got a check from us. We spent over $20,000 for our project and the work they performed is substandard. There are numerous things they did wrong, and I will just mention a few. We had turf installed and they did a 15 X 15 square. One side of the square is crooked and is visible as you walk into the yard area. They were unwilling to correct it. The rock they installed was not spread evenly throughout the yard and we will have to spread it ourselves or pay someone to do it. The pavers they used were not the color we thought we were getting and had 4 small light spots on each paver - never did get an answer what they were caused by. They installed a Pergola using what looks like low quality wood. It has splits in the wood and is splintering all over. They had to go buy extra wood while installing it as something wasn't right. They were painting that piece of wood while here. They left the can of paint and after they left we noticed numerous areas that need to be painted. The Pergola should have had at least two coats of paint applied. It is not worth the stress for us to call them back to fix the things that need to be done. We will just do it ourselves or pay someone else to do it. Just so you know no one from this company comes out to check the work of their crew. You are always making payments to the workers even though the work is not to your satisfaction. Even on the final payment there is no one from the company to inspect the final work to ensure it is according to the contract. The person you DON'T want to deal with is Alan. He is argumentative and a bully. He should not be a general manager. We agree with other reviews - we don't know how this company is still in business. BUYER BEWARE! We would give this a zero star if we could.

Nick and Tyler just completed our renovation in MMR today. The entire home was renovated in 3 months and every attention to detail was addressed. They responded to every phone call or text in a timely fashion and helped keep me in budget. I would highly recommend this team for a large project or small one. They were highly professional and were  wonderful to work with. Wendy

Much to be desired in the customer service realm. I did not enjoy badgering for a install date. Zero communication after installation was complete...I was asked to pay 50% to initiate the order. Unknowingly, my billing information was kept on file and If it weren't for the unauthorized withdrawal from my credit card post installation, I would have thought they completely forgot about me. Otherwise, the gate was acceptable.
