What I thought was a simple drainage problem for my sewer lines turned into a mass of huged roots between my home and the city sewer system from my front yard Ficus tree.   Justin and Chris were able to come out within two hours of my call.  They worked hard to find the clog and remove it with a simple snaking of the line.  This, however, proved impossible as the line was installed with lots of angles and a steep descent when the house was built.  It turned out the the roots extended for 20+ feet and were bigger around than my thumb and the sewer line was right under my driveway.  They helped mye understand exactly what was going on, let me view the line with a snake with a camera and walked me through the alternatives.  Work got started bright and early the next morning. We didn't have to live without sewer usage but for just a couple of minutes.  

We decided to go with a sewer liner rather than tear up the whole driveway and halfway into the street in order to replace the old line.  

Everthing was put back exactly as it was originally with very little fuss.  We got a 20 year guarantee and I would highly recommend this company.

This review is a long time coming.  My hot water tank blew up recently..called Diamondback as my tank was on warranty.  Spoke to service manager and he said the new tank would be fully covered.  Then said it was a $150.00 stocking fee and $350.00 labor..  for a total of $500!!  I was desperate so I didn't argue..  $500 for what should've been free.  What is said is this used to be my go to plumber..  NEVER AGAIN!!  So dishonest!!  Please heed this warning..  this company is dishonest as they come!!

I called they were here at the time they said the plumber Tate Withers was fantastic cleaned everything up very polite. He is definitely hired in my book.

We just had such a wonderful experience with Lawson plumbing.  We are an orthodox Jewish family and have strict limitations on technology etc from Friday to Saturday night.  Two of our toilets and shower flooded on Friday night.  The woman on the phone was so helpful about our religious rules and worked 100% around them.  Nick came out late and stayed a couple of hours making sure the problem was totally fixed (even having to make a Home Depot run).  He even totally cleaned up and gave the whole area a thorough cleaning of Lysol.  Totally fair price also.  We have officially moved all of our plumbing needs over to Lawson Family Plumbing.

I contact Flush King at about 6:15am and received a reply quickly. Michael came to replace my guest bathroom toilet within 2 hours after I contacted Flush King. The job was completed by 10:30am. Michael was very good and did an excellent job. I highly recommend and would use them again! Thank you for your prompt service!

Excellent company! very professional office staff and technically knowledgeable plumber on site. Mike repaired my do-it-yourself home improvement job I was engaged in. He explained every option and every work step down to detail. Super nice guy as well!

If you are looking for reliable, honest service then Lawson family plumbing should be your choice.  I've had them come out to my home a couple of times now and have never been disappointed.  Everyone working there is very knowledgeable.  I've used other companies before and they have not been on time, upfront and honest like Lawson Family Plumbing.  They've replaced a toilet, shower valve and given advice that has saved me over $100.  I will continue to use them as well as recommend them to family and friends.

Our A/C went out when it was in the 100's, I called George Brazil to come out figuring they are larger and have less overhead. Their service was horrible, he kept telling me he had 5 more appts. that day and I needed to hurry and make some decisions on the new unit to purchase.... The service with them was sub par.

Proskill just happened to be tuning up my next door neighbors A/C on the same day and I went over to see if they could come look and give me a price for a new unit. My neighbor highly recommended them as he knew them personally. G.Brazil gave me a price for a 16 seer York for almost $10,000, the same seer unit except a Trane brand was thousands cheaper. Proskill came out the same day to look it all over and had it replaced within the next couple days. They did a beautiful job, they had to rebuild our attic access, it looks better than it did to start with, had to pour a larger slab and they went the extra mile on everything they touched. They kept my home super clean despite all the insulation up in the attic and the A/C is awesome!! These are my go-to guys from now on!! Highly recommended, so lucky I found them. :)

Big disappointment.  Fast response time but then i was quoted $650 to fix a pinhole leak in an exposed above ground copper line .  When i told the plumber that price is ridiculous they dropped the price by $200 3 minutes later.  Feels like they are trying to scam people.  Another plumber charged me under $200.

Dave is timely, efficient and skilled and responsive to text messages and very timely. He communicated when he would be arriving and to explained everything that needs to be done and very fair pricing the repairs were done. We highly recommend Somers plumbing and will be using them for future needs!

They came to my house to fix leaking toilets.  After they finished, the handles and flushing worked much better than before.  No more leaking water!  They are very professional.  I am glad I hired them.  They are my go-to guys for fixing plumbing related issue now.

I hired Brian to come replace an under-counter sink the kitchen after several other plumbers declined to do the work or gave me a ludicrous estimate. Brian showed up and talked me through all of the different options. Once we decided on a path he was extremely helpful not only arranging his schedule to align with mine but also went to the hardware store with me to select a sink and other parts.

I must stress that this job was highly nonstandard and extremely difficult. It involved carpentry, plumbing and craftsmanship. Brian worked all day, approximately 12 hours so I wouldn't have to go without a kitchen sink for more than just one day. The end result was outstanding. He found a way to remove my 20 year old sink and install a modern beautiful single basin stainless sink in its place. I could not be more thrilled or more impressed with Brian's professionalism, skill and just being a generally great guy. He left the worksite extremely clean and followed up to ensure all went well.

I highly recommend Brian and Sound Plumbing. I wouldn't hesitate for second to hire them again.

I can't say enough positive things about our first experience using 100% Plumbing. My wife & I have been wanting to find a new plumbing team for awhile and found ourselves needing to locate where our sewer clean outs got buried during some landscaping several years ago. We used this as an opportunity to vet and price out a new company. We always try to stay local and family owned and 100% Plumbing fit the bill. However they earned our future business by being a model of how a good company should be run. I used Option One in the past to replace a water heater and had a good experience. More recently they came out to investigate a clogged line and went above and beyond. They found a mistake another plumbing company had made who replaced all the pipes in my yard. The plumber, Robert, was so helpful he even spoke to the other company about their mistake for me. He was very honest about everything and responsive whenever I had a question or needed help. I would highly recommend this company to anyone having plumbing issues.

Mike was the name of the technician who came to my home to inspect my HVAC unit on the house I had just purchased.  He was the second HVAC guy out because the first guy quoted me an outrageous price to get standard maintenance up-to-date.  I was very happy with how thorough Mike was in his inspection.  He essentially found four things wrong:

1.  Coils needed to be cleaned (part of the visit)
2.  Fuses were the wrong size
3.  Condensation hose was unhooked (ended up it was also clogged)
4.  Thermostat was pretty old.

It should be noted that the previous HVAC guy who was out didn't even catch that the fuses were the wrong size and that the condensation hose was unhooked.  The previous HVAC guy tried to tell me that the unit was a 2002 unit, and I verified through Mike and through the guy who did my home inspection prior to me purchasing it that it was, indeed, a 2009 unit.

Now I don't think the thermostat needed to be replaced, but he offered to do all of the above for $383.  I agreed, and off to work he went.

I am a due diligence kind of guy, so while Mike was working, I did some research on what all of that actually cost.  First of all, I should note that regardless, I was going to pay $85 to have the semi-annual inspection done.  So here is an itemized breakdown:

1.  New fuses     $8      (Lowes)
2.  Thermostat:   $179  (Amazon)
3.  Tax:                $16
4.  Service visit:  $85
    Total              $288

The way I look at it, I essentially paid him a $95 labor fee to install a thermostat, and I'm completely okay with that.  It would probably take me 4-6 hours to do all of the above.  His total visit was about two hours.

As a side note, I think it's pretty awesome that I can change my thermostat on my phone from pretty much anywhere in the world.  

I should also note that Mike was pretty awesome.  He took the time to explain everything to me as well as he could.  I think that in his line of work, which is extremely technical in nature, one of the hardest parts is understanding pricing in such a way so that it can be explained fluently to customers, and he excelled at that.  He also pointed out a couple of other products that the folks at Hays stand behind without offering any pressure to make a purchase.  I'm pretty sure that Mike ended up getting off about 30 minutes after the time his shift was supposed to end, and he had a long drive through traffic to get home.  Those kinds of things annoy the crap out of me when I have to deal with them, but he shrugged them off with a just doing my job attitude.  I think Mike really likes what he does for a living, and I admire that.

I will also be calling Hays next fall to do my semi-annual inspection.  I highly recommend them.
