Copper State Remodeling General Contractor
Our dishwasher failed while we were away and the significant water damage (about which we initially were unaware) not only slowly created mold inside our walls; it ruined most of our kitchen cabinetry. Since our house was built in 1984 the kitchen had been updated but never fully remodeled (including the original fluorescent lighting and drop-ceiling!).  We had no intention to undergo such significant a project but the timing would never be better.

Our insurer provided a list of its approved contractors but because the economy is so strong here in AZ, few responded and even fewer provided a bid (of the 18 GC's contacted). During the mold remediation process (a terrible experience we wish upon no one!), we were referred to Copper State Remodeling, a fully licensed and bonded General Contractor.  Are we ever grateful!

Mike Byrnes, its owner, came to our home the same day we contacted him and expediently provided a comprehensive bid:  Seal the rest of the house off (we lived in it throughout...), repair walls post-mold remediation, demo/remove all cabinets, drop ceiling and equally dated lighting, etc. His crew then installed new drywall/texture, redesigned our HVAC (making it more efficient), fully upgraded LED lighting, painted, and even completed minor structural improvements.

Mike as project manager, most capably coordinated and oversaw each subcontractor, the cabinetry company, appliance delivery/install, and the granite fabrication/install. Each and every individual who came into our home was the utmost in professionalism, competence, consideration, and also friendliness--including being most dog-friendly!

Copper State Remodeling was competitive in its bid.  Most of all though, we appreciate the significant added value Mike and his team brought to our home.  We're extremely satisfied and fully enjoying our new kitchen and family room--including its previously 'hidden' vaulted ceilings.

Southwest Building Solutions General Contractor
I had Southwest Building Solutions build a turn-key 40x40 steel building on my property in a county island in Northern Peoria. When I called, Aaron came out the same day. They had permits within a week, and my building is up after less than 6 weeks since I called. The building is beautiful and it's very well built. Thanks to Craig, Aaron, Chad, Scott, and everyone who helped.

Dahlman Construction General Contractor
Brad has done 2 projects for us, he built a Casita on our residential property.  We had been working with another contractor that had drug their feet and Brad and his team came in and got the job done quickly, during the beginning of the COVID issue.  He really came through for us.
The second was a commercial project, he remodeled our office, at our business in Chandler.  We had a quick deadline to get it done and they did an amazing job, excellent price and it was done on time.
Highly recommend Brad and his team!

Sun Country Renovations General Contractor
Stephen Garrett and his crew renovated our Scottsdale condo. The price he quoted was the end price, the quality of the work was good and they were very responsible and responsive. We were so impressed that we recommended them to a friend for their house in Phoenix.  That was a much bigger job and our friends were also very satisfied. We highly recommend Sun Country for Phoenix area renovations.

Jeremy The Handyman General Contractor
I'm pretty excited to have found Jeremy.  We have lots of little projects around the house but not enough home DYI knowledge to do it ourselves.
We have a small list of projects that we are going to be stating soon.  I was most impressed with being up front and honest.  Can't wait to use Jeremy in the future for all of our projects.

Phoenix Sliding Doors General Contractor
Was able to schedule an appointment less than a week out.  Appointment time frame was 1-4pm, and I got a call just before 2pm from Maurice that he was on his way and about 30 minutes away.  He arrived, saw what I needed, and got to work.  (I needed all new wheels on two sliding screen patio doors.) He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need (new doors or screens).  He also repaired a screen that was coming undone around the edge. He was efficient and did a great job.  I was able to pay by credit card and he was gone by 4pm.  Great experience!  I would definitely call again to repair or replace those screen doors.  Thank you Maurice and Phoenix Sliding Doors!

Heritage Crown and Millworks General Contractor
We had Nate ( the owner)  and his crew custom fabricated wainscoting at our house. I have to say that I am more than impressed with the quality of work these guys delivered! Nate and his crew are so meticulous and detailed with all of the work they did. We are very particular with our home and have high expectations of any work that is done. Nate made this experience the best we have ever had with work being done at our house. These guys are so detailed in their work! I had also referred them to my neighbors, where they did work at in their bathrooms and living room. My neighbors cant stop talking about how good of work they do.  Nate sets the bar pretty high!
I would say they are the best out there.  Thank you again Heritage Crown And Millworks for the great detailed work you did.

Arizona Kitchens and Refacing General Contractor
We hired Arizona Kitchens and Refacing for a large project of refacing cabinets in our kitchen, bar, hallway, and laundry room as well as adding new cabinets in our bonus room. The quality of their work is impeccable. I have worked with contractors for decades and I have never worked with a contractor that was a perfect 10 until I met and hired Keith. Keith and his crew are that good. My wife and I could not be any happier and a huge thank you goes out to Keith and his crew for making our home look beautiful. You guys are simply the best.

Homework Remodels General Contractor
Thanks to Homework Remodels for a great job helping me restore my 1920s home. After the restoration was complete on the original house, they built my addition which included a master suite, a laundry room and a breakfast nook. They are very knowledgeable about historic restoration and they knew how to work with the historic society and the city to get the proper approvals and permits needed to meet the historic preservation requirements. They were a pleasure to work with and the new addition looks like it was part of the original house.

All of the projects that Homework Remodels did for me where top quality, finished on time and in budget. Thanks to Steve and his team for a great job!

Habitat Renovations General Contractor
Thank you to our wonderful supervisor, Bobb Bodisch for seeing me through a very long and involved remodel project. The drywall/hand texturing, cabinetry, wall mosaics, 6 baseboards and new recessed lighting have changed a 1990s house into a 2019 showplace!
Thank you to everyone at Republic West/Habitat who made this transformation a reality.

D Mansory Construction General Contractor
I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I am in David Zarate and D Masonry Construction. He poured my foundation slab on my house addition and messed it up being off by about 6 inches on one side which would have caused a HUGE problem if the General Contractor that used him didn't make it right. David then promised me he knew how to pour a tennis court and that he had poured several for customers before. So I trusted him which was a BIG MISTAKE. Look at the photos I uploaded.  Don't take my word for it just look at the photos.
1) The court was not level and appropriately sloped as when General Acrylics came to flood test it before they striped it, there were puddles all over the court of water just sitting there.
2) The court surface finish was not done correctly.  It was suppose to be done in a light broom finish which he said he knew how to do that no problem.  He did not and the court was anywhere from rough to smooth all over different parts of the court.
3) He didn't suspend the wire mesh in the court right in the middle of the 4 slab like he is suppose to, to ensure no wire mesh is exposed on top of the tennis court.
4) Crooked tennis posts.  He never bothered to ensure the tennis posts sleeves were set straight.  Look at the photos.  Unreal.
-Then when I asked him to please make his mistakes right, and pay for me to get a true tennis court company to correct these items, he told me he wouldn't and claimed he didn't do anything wrong!!!!  Look at the photos!
If I could give a 0 review, I would... unbelievable to have someone take advantage of me like that.

They gave me a really fast quote and their installer was supposed to come out to confirm the measurements.  After my prompting the installer scheduled to come out this past Saturday but he never showed up.  I texted him and no response.  Dont do business with this company, very poor service.

Verde General Contracting General Contractor
READ THE BELOW STORY TELL ME IF YOU'D LIKE THIS COMPANY TO DO WORK FOR YOU!!!

Two disabled people living in Carefree, AZ area used this company to add a bedroom in a garage area for a nanny to help them with their small children.  The original contract (dated 10-25-17) was fine, any changes made Verde astronomically over charged them.  Her husband passed away January 2018 who was handling the job and his wife was totally lost being disabled herself.  She was a good friend from high school she asked me to help her. As I reviewed this additional contract she was being charged for items she didn't receive and Ken Verde (owner) of Verde General Contracting refuses to credit her for soffit lighting of (4 can-lights for $3500) they didn't install reason being is all the a/c duct work had to run through them and they couldn't put them in. Ken Verde still feels they are owed the money.  There were changes made that Verde never had change orders for but it was very evident these were done and she had no problem paying for those.  Verde General Contracting has sent threatening lien letters to her when she only owes $4836.00.  My lord if the poor woman isn't devastated enough from the loss of her husband in January then a few months later she lost her mother.  We tried the Registrar of Contractors they wouldn't help her at all so here she sits with an unfinished bedroom for her nanny that could be helping her right now. A list of items not done properly: a can-light  installed in ceiling  instead a light fixture over the bathrm sink, drywall unfinished, paint unfinished, exterior doors installed with no seals on them, moved plumbing made a mess of the concrete while doing so, this list just goes on.  She has two young children and Verde General will not contact her to complete this job for her. She's exhausted just trying to keep up with the kids all by herself now, thanks to Verde General Contracting..
