After working with Guthrie I can see why they have been in business for so long. They have assembled the greatest team of architects, general contractors and subcontractors to design and build. They consistently build beautiful yet functional medical offices. Their communication and follow through are great and the attention to the detail sets them apart. I can't recommend them enough.

We called George at Contessa Stone to come give us a quote for a new fireplace mantle and overmantle. He came and looked at the fireplace we had and worked with us on a design that both my wife and I loved. He gave us a timeframe for the stone delivery and the installation and Mario who did the installation of the Stone was really great. He truly cared about the work and took his time to make sure it was done right. The whole process was really smooth and any small issues were resolved very quickly. I would definitely recommend George, Mario and Contessa Stone to anyone.

I've known Tim Mullooly for over 10 years. He built the patio I designed in the picture above for a good friend of mine. In 2009, Mullooly Construction remodeled our house inside while we lived here. He phased the work. Performed very well, and coordinated his subcontractors well. I recommended Tim to several other friends and he did a great job for them too. I even recommended him for a remodel of a rental house our church owns. A couple years ago I hired him to oversee the replacement of our old windows. Tim is honest, completely trustworthy and does quality work. My background was in commercial construction so I know quality when I see it.

How often do people have nice things to say about their contractor?  Luke at Vista General is amazing.  

This is the second time I've used his company in a major remodel and I'm just as happy as ever.  What's more, I've referred other people to hire Luke and they too sign his praises and, I'm told, are hiring him for more work.

Lollis Custom Interiors, LLC  are Licensed, Bonded and Insured Contractors. I had a leak in the drain pipes in my master bathroom. After exchanging a few emails with Elizabeth from Lollis, we setup a time for them to come look at the issue and provide an estimate. Randy and his son, Jared, true gentlemen, personable, polite and extremely professional duo, arrived on time. They looked at the problem, asked me a few questions and gave me an estimate. I found the estimate to be very reasonable and agreed to have the repairs done. Jared followed up with a written contract in a email. I agreed to the description of the repair and the terms listed in the contract. Two days after our initial contact, they had a slot open to do the repairs. Randy and Jared showed up on time and completed the job in 5.5 hours including a trip to home depot. They removed the top, the cabinets, disconnected drain and water supply, cut the sheet rock, chiseled away the concrete and replaced the cracked drain pipes and fittings with new pipes and fittings. The pipes and fittings were cracked because the builder incorrectly poured concrete over them. The recent tremors we felt in Arizona and constant expansion and contraction over the years cracked the pipes and the fittings. With Randy's experience and Jared's skills, my bathroom does not at all looks like it has been worked on. They did a meticulous job doing the repairs. Randy even went above and beyond the contracted work and cleaned the aerators, hard to turn faucets and glued the loose back splash on the tub.
I am extremely impressed with their workmanship but more importantly with their honesty to their profession and the dedication with which they completed the repairs. I did not see them cutting any corners. They worked on it like they were doing repairs in their own house.

So far, Joel has done both my bathrooms and they are amazing! He and his team are always on time and the jobs were done quickly! Next up is my kitchen and I can't wait to see the end result. Joel even went with me to look at tile, etc, as I had no idea what I was doing. I highly recommend them!

We needed some damaged roof tiles replaced, and Stan did a great job. Just from a picture, he noticed two other tiles that were damaged which I hadn't even noticed before then. Keen eye for detail, which I really liked. Very reasonable, thoughtful, and patient with all my questions.

I hired W. C. Ahl to improve my kitchen lighting. They advised me on my options to get the best result for my project and provided very helpful suggestions. They already had kitchen lights much better than what I had found on my own. They came when they said and cleaned up afterward. They did a beautiful job, which comes with a lifetime guarantee. I am very pleased with the results. Even though this was a small project for a general contractor, they gave it their full attention. They came very highly recommended and now I would very highly recommend them as well.

Five years ago we had MK remodeling come out and do our shower which was leaking. We ended up having them redo the floors the lighting and the walls (from wallpaper to texture and paint).  So when we decided to update all 2 1/2 of our bathrooms this spring, we used them again after getting an estimate from at least one other company. I'm impressed with Mike Gillis, Kristin Gillis, and James Gillis. Their estimate process and billing is very professional. Over a couple of days, the various crews who were very professional, did great work on each job, and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. They went above and beyond what was required more than once, bless their hearts! I goofed up a couple of things and they worked with me on getting it right. Because the beginning of the job coincided with my husband's total knee replacement, there were at least three days where we weren't home but the work went on with no problems! This is a company you can trust and use over the years for many things.

Tony his team literally saved me from a nightmare.  I hired someone who was getting their company up and going to make my brick wall higher in my backyard.  It was originally only 5ft tall and everyone could see in my backyard. This new company completely botched the wall and was not unstained it correctly.  I had to fire them on the spot but they've already created such a mess.  I contacted Tony to come check out the horrible job to see if he could provide me a estimate. He came out the next day and let me know what all needed to be done to correct the issue and finish the job.  The estimate was a fairly priced for the work ahead.  I agreed and he came back the next day with his team.  They had my wall done within hours which included reinforcing and correcting the problem from the first company.  He was super professional,  cleaned up their mess ALONG with the previous company mess  and the communication was great. Dave & Mario are true craftsmen that know their trade very well! They are completely reliable and trustworthy. They have done 2 major home remodels for us consisting of kitchen, bath, tile, flooring, general structural work, plumbing, electrical, heating and air duct work. We are thrilled with the finished products! They have been in this business for decades and have great working relationships with many sources that were very beneficial to completing our projects.  They were able to advise and guide us along the way. They were completely reliable to do everything they said, in the timeframe stated, at competitive prices. They worked hard to get each task completed with quality craftsmanship. Through both of the remodels they handled themselves professionally and cheerfully. We enjoyed working with them and they were great with our dogs!  We fully recommend American General Contracting for any new construction or remodeling!

I saw an add for the company in magazines and called. Owner came by and estimated the fee for  repairs I needed,as well as to seal and polish all granite countertops. One month later they finally came to do the work. Repairs we done very well. And I'm happy with results. However when it came to getting my counters sealed and polished. He would not do my master bathroom. Said it was not part of estimate. When it absolutely was agreed on. He charged me $800 for that part of the service alone. I expected to have all bathrooms done. As well as far as the polish itself.. He promised it would take care of haze and make granite shine like new. But I believe he sprayed on polish no different then any store bought. It had no long term shine. The haze is still there. Very disappointing..  Also he and employee were talking in foreign language the whole time made me uncomfortable..

I only let the best and talented people to work in my home. I needed new custom cabinets added to my new home. I contacted keith to do the job. If you want a perfect job then there is only one person to call. He will be my go to guy as long as I live. He is a gentleman snd a fantastic human being. He cares 100% about all his customers. You will never find a better contractor in the state of AZ. His work came out gorgeous and as soon as I can I've been sick, I'll post all the beautiful pictures of his work. KEITH WILL NEVER overcharge his customer. Hi prices are very fair. If you don't want any headaches or worry's and great work Keith is my go to man. If you are smart make him yours also. Beware!  Owner Trond Matteson is unreliable and undependable.  I first used him to do artificial turf on my front yard a year ago on reference from friends.  Although the job was completed there were issues that he promised to fix several times but never did.  I recently decided to do my back yard and decided to give him a second chance since we have so many mutual friends, yet this recent experience with him has been horrible.  I asked him to come look at my yard and give me a quote, and he said he would come by the next day.  2 days later without coming to see my yard, he asked me to measure the yard and send him the dimensions.  Once I did that he agreed to do the job and said he would be here Thursday to do it.  After not showing up on Thursday I contacted him that afternoon to ask where he was and he said he had a funeral to go to and couldn't make it.  He promised he would be here on Friday.  He never showed up on Friday and no word from him until Saturday morning when he texted and said he would be at my home in an hour.  He never showed again!  Later that day at 3pm he called and said he couldn't come until Monday.  I told him to forget it and said I couldn't ever trust that he would show up after letting me down 3 days in a row.  He pleaded with me to reconsider and swore he would be here personally Monday morning before the sun came up to do the job and promised I would be happy.  Big surprise....he never showed up again!  4 days in a row he said he would be here to do the job and never showed up.  Do not believe anything he says and don't use this company!  I was hoping to have my yard done for Mother's Day but guess that won't happen!
