Best in Phoenix AZ
A bit of background. We just bought our house a year ago, and the AC was original to the house which was built in 2000. It blew cold, but was extremely loud. I could hear it 3 houses away when I would walk to the mailbox. And it was easy to tell it was ours because it had this weird pulsing sound. We knew it was on its last legs, but we had a home warranty and were just trying to get it through this summer so we could replace it in the spring of 2021. Then Covid hit, and now we're home all of April, May, June, and finally, the last Saturday in July it decided to finally die.
I won't bore you with the intervening week, but if you read my other reviews you might be able to find out what happened. Suffice it to say that by Wednesday evening we'd had enough with the home warranty company and their crappy representatives, and I called my friend Gus. Gus works for Larson, and he was appalled at my story of poor service from the other company that was supposed to fix our system. Their estimated time for repair was 7-10 business days. It was 95 degrees inside our house, and they wanted me to wait another 2 weeks to get it fixed. Gus contacted Claude at Larson, and Claude told me he would be there the next morning (Thursday), bright and early. And true to his word, he was.
Let me tell you a little about Claude. He's an honest, gifted, salesman, even though he doesn't like sales (so he says, he's really good at it). He doesn't just tell you what he thinks you want to hear, he takes the time to educate you on your existing system, it's flaws and benefits, and what options might be best for you. He told me that most homes with solar (like ours) don't tend to get the most expensive, highest efficiency systems as they cost much more and with our low electric bills we wouldn't see return on our investment for many years. A lower priced system, still highly rated, would likely be more practical.
I talked it over with my wife during lunch, and we agreed with his assessment and called him back that afternoon with our decision. He set us up with an installation for the following Monday. Then things got interesting. Due to the pandemic, their suppliers didn't have the all the pieces of the particular system I wanted in stock. He tried all day Friday & Saturday to find them to make our Monday installation appointment. On Monday, he let me know we would have to push to Tuesday, but with a pleasant surprise. Since they couldn't get the system we had chosen by our expected install date, they gave us a free upgrade to a higher rated system. The only additional cost was for the thermostat, as the new system wasn't compatible with our Nest.
So, Tuesday morning, at 6:30, three awesome guys, Mike, Brandon, and Dennis, arrived at our house and removed the old system, installed the new one, set up our new thermostat, and after 10 days I'm finally spending the night in my own house again. Our new system is efficient, powerful, and extremely quiet (check my pictures for a link to a youtube video I made if you want to see just how quiet it is). I cannot sing their praises enough, everyone I dealt with at Larson was professional, polite, and personable. Hopefully it will be another 20 years before I have to replace this system, but when that time comes you can bet I'll be calling Larson again.

I do a lot of research before making purchases so I have reviewed the best type of water softener to buy as well as companies for 2 months prior to settling on American Home Water as one company to contact and knowing I wanted a Clack or Fleck unit.
Tom called me after i sent a message from their website and gave me information on the units and a quote. He was very pleasant and low-key in his approach. He seemed proud of the service his company provided.
I spoke with 2 other companies as well but they immediately went into sales pitches and pushed hard to come out including 'I can be there in 20 minutes' from one guy. One company pulls the 'best components' from various manufacturer's to build a unit. That concerned me on how the warranty would work if not from a reputable company. The prices for the unit & installation was $400-$600 more as well. So we decided on AHW.
Gerardo called me just before 8am on the installation date and confirmed where we were located. Since we are in Queen Creek it would take almost 1 1/2 hours to get to our place and he was right on time. He was friendly, professional and efficient. He set up the unit and explained how it worked as well as when to add salt, etc.
He asked me how I heard about the company and when I explained I found them on Yelp he told me that Yelp members get a discount so our bill was even less than what I was quoted!
It is great to know you can still find companies like AHW out there. Good service that they are proud of and they do air conditioning as well so I'll keep them on my list!

I am beyond impressed with Johnny! Yesterday, our tenant's AC went out. In a panic, I called Johnny based on his outstanding Yelp reviews. It took Johnny exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes from start to finish, and everything was fixed good as new! By the way, when I say 70 minutes, I don't mean 70 minutes to make the repair. I mean 70 minutes TOTAL, from hanging up the phone, Johnny getting in touch with our tenant for more info, driving to our tenant's house for a service call, diagnosing the problem, and fixing then problem.... he did all of THAT in 1 hour and 10 minutes! All at a very reasonable price, by the way! Johnny explained concisely the repairs he was making and why. No swindling us for more money, even though the AC unit is about 20 years old. Very impressed, and our tenant was beyond happy as well! Thank you again Johnny!

I usually don't write reviews on Yelp, but I was so unhappy with the customer service. We were told that someone would come between 11am-1pm to fix our AC unit. My sister had to go to work at 12, so I stayed home to wait for someone over. Then at 9:26, I get a call saying that they were running late and that they were going to come around noon. Then at 2, she calls and says that he was running late and that he was going to get food before coming over. He doesn't get here until 3:13. I have to leave the house by 3:30 to get to work. This whole time I'm waiting in a 93 degree house. I then called my sister who spoke to someone over the phone about the situation because I had to leave in 15 minutes. The woman whom we both spoke on the phone with was completely rude to the both of us. We both felt that she gave us attitude when we did nothing wrong; it was their fault. She told us that we weren't the only ones with a broken AC and they were trying to get to everyone. I do not understand how someone can be so late to an appointment; their company specializes in this type of work. If they knew the technician coming to our house was running late, they should have sent someone else within the time frame they have given us. I then I had to leave for work and the technician said that he could work on the AC unit without me their and I could lock up the house and leave. I did not want to risk coming home after work to a hot house, so my sister had to leave work and come home and make sure everything was fixed okay.
The technician fixed our AC unit and now it works fine. But the customer service was completely awful. Since we rent the home we live in, our landlord was the one who called the company and set everything up. If something were to go wrong with our house again, I would ask our landlord to use different company. I do not want to deal with this again.

I can't say enough good things about my recent experience with AZ air experts. We had been told by a previous air co. that we needed over $1500 -$3,000 worth of work done, but air experts came in and fixed the problem for $330. They were extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They took the time to troubleshoot the problem and explain all of it in detail. It is so refreshing to find a company that is honest and straightforward. So impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge of the company and tech who came to my home for the tune up. I didn't have any particular issues that warranted any maintenance, but I had a ton of questions that were all confidently answered and left me assured. My AC unit started dripping water and had another company come out to take a look. They charged me almost $600 for a recharge, and told me I'd need a new unit in another year or so. A week later, the same issue started up again, and that company quoted me a new unit that I thought was priced high. After looking at some reviews, I called Alan's for another quote, and am I glad I did. Bill came out later that same day, explained the issue, and what was involved in replacement. They then told me it would be almost $2000 less! Unfortunately, I didn't call Alan's first, and paid the price. I couldn't be happier with Alan's honest, professional service, and will definitely use them for all future maintenance and repairs. They are the best, and I'd recommend them to everyone.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! If I could give 10 stars I would! I hired a contractor to build a recording studio in my garage. There were multiple issues with the build, but the biggest issue was the installation of the Samsung mini-split. The unit wouldn't keep the room cool (especially on hot days) even though it was brand new.
When I called Ideal Air Conditioning for help, Chris came out to troubleshoot the existing unit. He found multiple leaks and gave me a variety of options to repair/replace.
Ultimately, I decided to swap out the wall mounted mini split for a single cassette ceiling AC (less intrusive for my space). The team at Ideal was a breath of fresh air. When I let Chris know I was leaning towards a full replacement, he sent out an auditor (also named Chris and who was just as amazing) to ensure the unit would fit properly in the space.
The day of the installation, Chris and his team arrived right on time. They took painstaking efforts to wrap and protect all of my equipment and left the studio spotless. The installation went great and the room is cooling perfectly. The additional insulation they added in my ceiling has also been a game changer.
The quality of work is top notch - I just wish I would have hired them in the first place!! Huge thank you to both Chris', Elena, Maxine and the entire team at Ideal Air. I'm a very happy customer, can't recommend them highly enough!

Thursday night, I returned home, and my house thermostat was showing 85 degrees. I tried everything I knew to do without success. My husband searched for an AC repair company, saw the 5-star reviews for Desert Comfort Mechanical, and gave them a call. He called three companies, and Desert Comfort was the only one to call him back. They called back within 30 minutes. It was 9:00 pm by this time. Fidel said they could be out that same night or at 5:00 am. Since it was so late, already I opted for the early morning appointment. Fidel and another gentleman arrived when they said they would and, within 20 minutes, knew what the trouble was. They were both extremely professional and offered several options with reasonable pricing. They made the repairs the same day, provided me with Duct Cleaning company referrals, and even checked on me that evening to see if everything had cooled down and was working great.
I will refer Desert Comfort to anyone asking if I know a good AC company and be a loyal customer from here on out. Desert Comfort is a perfect example of great customer service.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! What an amazing team! What you see is what you get! I did a service request to about 5 company and received his response with in seconds. They came out the same day. Side note: I had my air checked in July by a company (see my reviews) referred to me by American Home Shield, they neglected to secure my panel and due to monsoons my unit was destroyed ... beyond repair. I contacted them to voice my concerns and they couldn't have cared less. ........ Kevin came out right on time, did a diagnoses, tried his best to get it up and running but due to exposer to the environment my compressor burnt out along with several other issues. After seeing the pictures I was devastated. The previous company basically set me up, so they could come back and install a new one. smh... But Kevin was also concerned about us in the heat and came back with an amazing option to get me up and running by Monday. This happened on Saturday btw. Adrian the owner and Kevin showed up today 1hour earlier than scheduled, secured a payment that only an angel could do to help in this type of situation. Come to find out his middle name is Angel! From the first time speaking to him and his wife they have been nothing but kind, comforting and accommodating. I would highly recommend this team for your heating and air services, they will do it right the first time! ... and don't invest in American Home Shield... so ready!!!

Had a room in our house that wasn't cooling well. Called SureTemp and they came out to asses the situation. Found out the duct work to that room was restricted where part of it had been crushed. Set up an appointment and one of their techs came by to do the repair.
Before arrival I received a call where he let me know he was on the way. He was polite and professional the entire time he was in my home. He removed the crushed portion and rejoined the duct work. He also discovered an area where some cabling had been routed over the duct work and was restricting it. So when he cut it he also moved the cabling to go underneath the ductwork to remove that problem as well. He repaired the ductwork and straightened everything out to give the best airflow. He provided pictures so I could see what all had been done in the attack without having to crawl up there myself.
The airflow to the room definitely feels better now so I'm hoping this takes care of the issue. With the original assessment they suggested other options to improve the situation such as adding a return duct, but encouraged me to try the duct repair first before paying for work that I may not need done. So I got real advice without any up-selling. All and all everyone I talked to was polite and felt honest in their assessment and fair in their pricing. I'll be going back to this company whenever I need AC work.
