Our A/C unit stopped producing cold air in July, when we needed it most. David, our technician, didn't find any electrical/mechanical problems and freon levels were good.  He determined that a safety switch cut off power to the compressor motor due to excessive condensation levels. He blew out the condenser line and performed a 20 point inspection of our system at a nominal cost.  David did an excellent job of answering my questions.

Price, installation, service and plain old showing up is important.
Sempre Fi came in thousands lower than some of the other big name companies, showed up as promised, the staff is professional and their work was done with craftsmanship.

The Quote:  Starting with Gabe and the quote, he showed up with a ladder in hand to thoroughly investigate what was needed. Unlike some companies that show up to do a quote and look at nothing and just throw out a price. Also, because it was hot in the house, Gabe arranged for a space cooler to be delivered. It was dropped off to us within an hour.

The Installers & Installation:  Then a day later Mike & Josh showed up to do the installation of the unit. They showed up on time and prepared to do the install, meaning they didn't have to leave for parts. They put down drop cloths to protect the carpet and got right to work. Placed drop cloths in the room with the attic as well. After the installation, they cleaned up and the house looked like they were never there. The installation was clean and tidy. It took them about 6 hours, which I though was fast to replace the unit both outside and in the attic. All of the guys were very professional and easy to do business with. The installation was seamless. This was a replacement of a heat pump and an installation of a new thermostat.

We knew when we bought our house a couple of years ago that the HVAC unit (original to the house built in 1998) was on borrowed time. So, of course, the heater kicks the bucket on the one cold weekend we have here in Phoenix...and why not the same weekend as we have family in town from the polar-vortexed midwest?

Have no fear - Scottsdale Air is here! We called on Thursday afternoon and had a technician out (ON TIME) at 8:00 am the next day. Dave was professional, pleasant and HONEST about the most cost-effective way to move forward. We agreed it would be cheaper to just replace the whole thing and he had a sales rep at our house that afternoon. Russ Byrum (sales rep) is the most patient man on the planet. My husband and I are first time homebuyers and we had no idea what we were doing. Russ laid everything out for us and didn't try to oversell us beyond our budget. This dude is a ROCK STAR and will not steer you wrong.

By Tuesday, we had the AMAZING install team at our house (Please note: they were ready to come out on Saturday, but we couldn't make it work on our end before that because of work. Russ even offered to bring out space heaters to our home so we didn't freeze over the weekend).

Picture this: our HVAC system is half-outside/half-in-an-attic-crawl-space-in-a-garage that doesn't look like a human being should be able to fit in there. I don't know anything about this stuff and even I could tell you this task looked impossible. But for Jaime and Eulogio? No problem. They worked quickly, quietly and CLEANLY - wrapping the whole project in about seven hours. It was AMAZING. I cannot describe how much respect I have for these two guys. THANK YOU.

Bottom Line: while this is the first time I've had the opportunity to use this company's services, my uncle and parents have been using them for decades; now they've earned one more lifelong customer. If you're looking for reliable professionals with a great work ethic that install a great product (this Trane XR15 looks like a piece of art and performs like NASA built it), the Scottsdale Air team is who you need to call.

Mr. Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our Mini split, he was very professional and communicated very well about the install and process! Would recommend him to anyone looking for professional install and great service!

I can't say enough about this company and the professionalism shown to me.  My a/c went out on the east side of the house and I have company coming next week and I was sure it was a goner.  To my relief these guys fixed the problem and I HAVE AIR ON THE EAST SIDE.  YEA.  

No kidding, I highly recommend this company and I intend to have them out if I ever need any air conditioning work done.  Tony was so professional and courteous and respectful.

First off let me tell you this is not a sponsored add.

If you live in North Phoenix American Air and Appliance is the way to go for air conditioning repair and/or appliance repair. As all of you know in Phoenix starting in June it can get to undesirable temperatures. On Friday at 3pm I realized my air was not working when it hit 85 in my house. I called around and searched on Yelp for advice from the public. No one was answering, one guy even said I have no interest in servicing up there. I left a message at American Air and Appliance that I was getting frustrated with no one picking up and next person who calls me back gets the business. In less than 30 minutes I received a call back from Ian's (owner) wife, who by the way was vacationing with their son at some lake in Northern AZ. She said Ian, her husband, could be there within the hour. This was at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. He showed up within the hour, 55$ service charge which is taken off if there is something that needs repair.

He tested the capacitor and other things on AC I dont know anything about and determined the capacitor was out. It took less than hour for him to cool down my AC unit (because it had overheated due to the capacitor being out and the motor still wanting to run), replace the capacitor and get it back to pumping out cold air. Throughout this process I tested him with questions and stories about scam artists in the business, he was very upfront and honest with me and showed/explained what was going on.

I would recommend this guy to anyone in the valley. He stayed home and worked over the weekend while his kid and wife were jet skiing up north. It is him and a partner who do the work and his wife runs the back office stuff for him. Ian is your man for the job.

After getting several bids on a replacement mister pump, Senor Mist had the best value for product and warranty. Karen was absolutely amazing and Rex and his team were professional with the install. Our new pump has exceeded our expectations! Their customer service was fantastic and I highly recommend Senor Mist!

Daniel @ Preferred Air was recommended to us by local friends. We have two units on the house, one which needed complete replacement, as well as servicing the other one. We had 5-6 estimates from many other places but everyone wanted to sell us Trane units, and pricing was all about the same but really high in the $6500 range for replacement unit and service on existing. Daniel came out, asked a TON of questions, did a very thorough investigation of both units and gave us many options we could pick from based on price and performance. All in, we spent about $1500 less than we would have with some of the more well known or big guys and the service was 150% amazing. The workmanship this company does is top notch, the photograph everything when they're done, and they stand behind all the work they do. We have a very organically grown flat-roof house, with quite a few odd things, but Daniel and team did a great job of fixing existing deficiencies and did a really nice job on the new install on the roof. Can't say enough good things about this company, call them!

I contacted Francisco about a project with a family I was working with to get their AC fixed.
Francisco was fast, courteous and VERY Knowledgeable. Francisco will not price gouge you and tells you EXACTLY want needs to be fixed. I will recommend him to anyone in my family and friends circle.

Rich came to do a diagnostic on the ac at a home I had just purchased. Once he identified the problem he went through the options I had to correcting the issue. Rich was honest and helpful. We ended up replacing the whole unit and Rich gave us a great deal on the condenser. The unit works great and the house is nice and cool, which is great considering the heat lately. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest technician that won't try to sell you something you don't need and will provide great service.

When you live in Phoenix, Arizona during the summer months and your AC goes out upstairs... I suggest calling Bell Air Conditioning FIRST! I choose Bell after reading the many satisfied reviews on yelp and google+. I knew this would be our new air conditioning company. They arrived on time and repaired the issue to our ac unit quickly(like less than an hour). We had cool air within minutes and on a 100 degree day that is beyond important. Thanks Bell!

By far the best co in Az for all of your Ac needs. Not only did he have knowledge of my unit but things I can do in my home to help the ac run better. This company is amazing and they are very reasonable. They understand folks have to work for their money and their bills are very very reasonable. I'm a service plumber so I know a thing or too on service costs. If you don't call them have someone else go out to your house and sell you things you don't know because they are all sales man. They will sell you things you don't need Steves Ultimate Air doesn't do that he diagnoses problem and he repairs not replace. Steves UA is who to call! Very reliable and responsible with a great team on the office and technicians.

My parents had a leaking AC unit. I called Michael and he was able to help them. My Dad said Michael was knowledgeable, professional and did a great job. No more leaking!

I woke up at 4:45 in the morning and said to myself Hm. My fridge stopped working, the ceiling fan stopped working, the dryer isn't heating, the microwave short circuited, and the toilet flush valve is broken. What else could go wrong? Then my AC said to the garage door, here, hold my beer.  I called several places to tell them to exactly what was wrong and why my house was 90 degrees, but none of them would quote me a price without a service call. I remembered Flores AC (they installed the unit 6 years ago) and decided to look them up on the off chance that they might be back in business. I found Jorge Flores and I told him what was possibly wrong. He agreed with me and asked me to check several other things. He came out the same day, didn't charge me extra, and came ready with the part. He remembered me from the installation when he worked with his brother's business. He and his nephew were very polite, honest, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. They even showed me how to clean the unit and let me know which parts would need to be replaced in a couple years and how much I should save up for repairs. I'm so happy to have found them. You won't be disappointed.

Stolen deposit of $5k on work that was never performed. canceled HVAC install 2 days after quote and 1 day prior to install. HVAC new system install quote done by Emmanuel Diaz on 6/3/22. We decided to schedule install for Monday 6/6/22 with a clear understanding that it can be canceled because I wanted a few days to research a few things. After I left to go to work my wife remained to wrap up the scheduling. She gave Emmanuel $5k deposit. I cancelled the install the day before on Sunday 6/5/22 as I had another quote scheduled on Monday 6/6/22. Decided to go with Goettl instead. We called George Brazil to have deposit refunded and were told it was no problem. Chris said the refund system was down and was it okay to send a check?  We said yes. After verifying our address a check was sent Per Chris on 6/7/22. The check never showed up. 4 Calls later still no resolution. They will not let me speak directly to billing department. They promise to call back and never do. They said the check was sent without tracking information. It seems like they are doing everything possible to avoid this refund on work never performed. Saying the system is down then saying they mailed the check without tracking 3 weeks ago is fishy. I have been repeatedly denied the ability to speak with billing department directly. They have stolen $5k from me

Our AC went out on 7/3/2021. Parker and Sons were able to get a tech out that same, in the summer, on a holiday weekend. The tech was able to get the AC going again, but this was a temporary fix for our 25 year old unit. On 7/5 a rep came out inspected our current unit and gave us a quote for a whole new system. It was installed 3 days later. The rep that quoted us was professional, honest,  and a no-b.s. type of guy, which we respected. We can't thank the two technicians that spent 10 hours installing out unit and rerouting out previous air ducts for superior airflow. I can't imagine the task was easy when it was well over 100°!!! Our new ac system is quiet and the airflow is amazing.  Plus we don't have to worry about a thing moving forward with the amazing warranty and maintenance package. I was also impressed that they had another rep come back and fix the drywall that was moved to get the unit into the house. Thank you all at Parker and Sons! We appreciate the professionalism, hard work, and consistency in customer service.
