I'm so glad I called Drain-eez!  Our toilet stopped working and drains started backing up a bit. They got back to me within a few minutes of calling and came out the next day.  Pat was great to work with - he walked me through everything and charged me exactly what they quoted us for a new ejector pump. They've clearly been doing this for a long time and know what they're doing.  Highly recommend!

Really fantastic service. Had Drain overflow issue & water heater leak all-in-one night...called Mac & within a few minutes had him scheduled to come by first thing the next morning. Talks you through every step if that's what you prefer & did a great job from start to finish! He followed-up and recommended steps to ensure proper flow in the future. The price was fair and in-line with what you would expect to pay for this service. Will use again!

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn't skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

Sent them a request for a quote, got no reply after a week. Seems strange but probably it happened for the better...

Thomas was very communicative, he came out to the property to provide a free quote, and he promptly sent the quote pdfs. I was disappointed after talking with another plumber at how Thomas seemed to be trying to up-charge us for repairs and procedures that were not necessary to fix our problem. I don't think I will reach out again to Thomas, despite his good communication, as trust was broken by the amount he was proposing charging.

***UPDATE***
For potential clients reading this review: A year passing since this quote was sent makes my review all the more relevant. We ended up having the check valve and sump pump replaced for $1300 total. Chicago Sewer & Drain quoted us $1100 for camera/hydrojetting the main sewer line, $1600 for an ejector pump replacement, $1200 for a sump pump replacement, and the check valve replacement would be included with other repairs. We had significant savings with the approach we took (over $2000), and everything works perfectly fine over a year later. This is why I characterized the quotes as upsell.

If I could give 6 stars I would. I needed new valves under the kitchen sink and all new parts for my shower. Mitch and the Sound Plumbing team responded to my call immediately and got to work within a day. Their team is one of the nicest groups of people around and the entire experience was amazing. I will use this shop for all my plumbing needs in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

My toilet wasn't flushing, kitchen sink was clogged, one of my bathroom faucets was leaking, my bathroom sink was also leaking somewhat.
Tim fixed all of the above under 2 hours and the price was very reasonable.

My highest possible recommendation. Mike, the owner, Is incredibly responsive. For the second time in two years, our basement flooded because of old plumbing (on Memorial Day when no one was working). Last year, Danny came out to the house and, with careful and skilled analysis, was able to diagnose the issue. Fast forward a year later... the same problem. Mike and Danny fit us in right away, working late, and were able to resolve our issue. Danny took the time to explain the issue, provide recommendations for mitigation, and on routine maintenance. On top of all that, Danny could resolve our issue without damaging our basement floor, which would have been an easy way out. Danny could have also oversold us unnecessarily add-ons but was mindful of our emergency and treated us like neighbors. It saved us time and money and helped out when we needed it. These are good people! I have no affiliation with Midwest Hydro, but as long as Danny and Mike are there, I'll be a Midwest Hydro fan and loyal customer.

I called Captain Rooter on a Saturday night and Dylan was quick to respond and offer us all of our options. He came out as soon as we asked and was able to make a quick assessment, get us a new garbage disposal, and get the job done in a very timely manner. He was kind and very professional too. Our sump pump failed at night and I reached out to ABV on Yelp and they responded even after hours to address my concern.  They came the next morning and changed my existing sump pump and even showed me exactly what was wrong with the first one.  Ivo was very friendly and helpful.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

We had a pipe leaking for days in a very tight space. Once we identified the leak, most plumbers stated they couldn't come out for days. CJ Plumbing was able to come out almost immediately and fix the problem despite the small space, I was worried they would have to cut into the drywall. I would highly recommend!

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

A&Y was very quick to respond. Their estimate is very reasonable and they did a good job in installing a new water heater in my home.

I don't write too many reviews but finding a good plumber you can use for life is impossible so I felt I should post this.  I have gone through a half dozen and I'm happy to say I finally found the Company I can count on and use as long as I live in Chicago land!   Recommended by a friend, I have used Five Plumbing on several occasions and all of the anxiety is out the window.  I would trust these guys to do work when I'm not there, it is done right the first time, everything is explained to you, they are realistic about what can and can't be done, and their prices are competitive.  I have gone the 'cheap' route several times and it does not work.  I have the 'redo' bills and water damage to prove it.  Stop reading, call them if you need some work done.
