Hands down he was the best plumber I dealt with. Based on the reviews I gave him a call regarding my water heater needing to be replaced in my condo. Every other plumber quoted that I needed to rip a wall down and hire a carpenter to remove it, but Mac came out and helped me solve the issue with no construction needed (saving so much money)! Overall, super responsive, fair, honest, and got the job done so quickly.

Broken shower diverter - read the reviews on google that these guys are super honest and upfront. Couldn't agree more. Victor was so nice and tried all the low cost easy options first and foremost and actually fixed it on the spot! Communication was great, Victor is so nice too. He even gave me some great tips and recommendations if I have any future needs, tips and tricks to maximize the life of our plumbing, and did not try to sell me anything extra.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Scotty fixed my sink, which wasn't code-compliant, and helped me get rid of the sewer smell in my bathroom. He's a super friendly and knowledgeable guy, and he was very patient with my rambunctious puppy! Will definitely give him a call if something else goes wrong.

Ben was just great! He came out once to replace our busted water heater and not long after, we needed him to come out again and fix our clogged  bathroom sink and our low water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom.

Ben is great, not an annoying sales guy, doesn't make up stuff that is wrong with your plumbing. He comes in and gets the job done and doesn't make you feel weird about having him in your house.

Anyway, these guys will definitely be our regular plumbers and friends.

Give them a shot. I can't speak on pricing, I don't know what costs of things are but they seemed decently priced for the job.

We just finished up a pretty major plumbing and repair job that included replacing the main sanitary pipe that connects to village.  We had the same work attempted several years ago but job was done poorly and water started leaking in through wall every time it rained.  The job was done correctly this time and included an outstanding patch and plug through foundation wall.  Communication and responsiveness was excellent throughout the entire process and everyone involved in the job was extremely professional, friendly and courteous.  I couldn't recommend Windy City Plumbing more if I tried!

Communication by e-mail seemed to work best - it was quick and clear and left us knowing what to expect. Charges were exactly as quoted, the work was done correctly, and the plumber was able to speak with our home warranty company so the repair could be partially reimbursed. Appointments must be cancelled or re-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

I love these guys!  I have used them 3 different times for various issues at my properties and would use them at my home if they were willing to drive to the burbs.  They have been great!  Always on time, professional, neat, super friendly and fairly priced. Most importantly, they do a great job and are super honest.  They will even refer you to plumbers they like if they are unable to work with you due to their schedule or whatever.  Extremely trustworthy!  It is awesome to be able to work with professionals you can trust.

Our garbage disposal wasn't working. I called Jesus on a Saturday morning. He came within a hour and fixed it right away. I'm very happy with his service and will definitely call him again.

I found a great new plumber. These guys are great- Kevin the owner who responds very quickly and Kyle who installed 2 new toilets and shutoff valves. The work was high quality and done efficiently. Kyle was friendly and very professional. Very impressive company all around.  I have more work that I'll be calling for. Wish I had found these guys 10 years ago.

I've used Midwest a few times and will use them more in the future. Mike and Danny are awesome -- professional, punctual, and very friendly. I am glad that they are just a call away when I experience my next plumbing scare.

Katy and Ivo were great to work with.  On time arrival for the job.  Fast and efficient work!  A leaking wax seal on the toilet was diagnosed and repaired, and the bathroom was cleaned and dried, in less than an hour.  We are very pleased to have found ABV Plumbing!

Okay, so being completely transparent, I didn't end up using them for my sink repair. But, I wanted to review just for the customer service. I called them this morning because I need to have the pipes fixed under my kitchen sink, as they're all corroded and have holes leaking everywhere. Dimitry asked me to send a picture of the issue so he could estimate it, which I did, and he called me back with a quote of $250-$275 to replace the 3 metal pipes with PVC. But, he openly said This isn't a hard job and you should just have a handyman do it, because any plumber will be way too expensive. Get a handyman who will cost $100 and you can use the savings to buy holiday gifts.

So, A+ customer service for honesty and knowing that the price he quoted me was way more than what is actually needed. If I ever need major plumbing (or heating) work done (which hopefully won't ever be the case, but life happens), I would definitely call CJ Plumbing & Heating first.

Believe the 5 star reviews, Mike is awesome! It's so nice to have a plumber in my contacts who I not only know will do great work, but is also fair and 100% trustworthy. Mike is also super responsive, dependable, and takes great pride in his work. And to top it all off, we actually had a really fun day together when he came by! Great guy + great work = no brainer on reaching out to him for your plumbing needs.

Our water heater stopped working about two weeks ago.  Since that time, we've tried several of the different large plumbing services who were providing large estimates without even looking at my issues.  For me, the very last straw was when I called one of the services I used at the very start of my issues.  The new technician explained to me that the technician that the firm sent out the first time didn't do the work correctly but he (from the same exact company) would fix me right up for an additional $4,000.

It was at this point that I knew I needed to try a very different approach.  I opened Yelp and placed a query for a plumber.  Juan from A&Y plumbing and Sewer Services responded to my query.  Let me just say that if you are a homeowner in need for quality work by someone who not only explains to you what needs to be done but also treats you with respect - this is the  company for you.  I have noticed in previous projects at my home that some of this large plumbing services assume that if you are calling them, you are so desperate to end your problem you will pay any ridiculous cost.  I've owned my home over twenty years.  I have at least a couple of instances where I knew I overpaid for subpar work and I was determined that I would be treated fairly in the effort.  With Juan I felt in my gut that he would be trust worthy because he started out with let me see if this can be fixed and if not, we can discuss other options.  This was In stark contrast to the other service where the gentleman immediately told me, this isn't something you repair, it is something you replace!.  He hadn't even come to my home yet.

In short, Juan was able to fix it.  He then walked me through the process he followed to trouble shoot the issue and correct the problem.  I have an advanced degree in information technology so root cause analysis is something I truly appreciate!  It doesn't mean i expected to walk away knowing how to troubleshoot this issue myself but for someone to just give me the respect of fully explaining what was happening and why we needed to fix/replace things.

For me, during a time when I felt like other services were treating me horribly - it was absolutely refreshing to be treated with kindness and respect. The cherry on the cake was that Juan's cost was reasonable and his work was awesome!  This was one of those times where I very gladly paid his fee and I am already referring him to my friends and family.   This is company is definitely a keeper for me!!

Noel was great. We were in a bit of an urgent situation and Noel was punctual, calm, professional and able to meet our unique needs whereby he needed to complete tasks at different times during the day due to other work we had being done. Super diligent and explained everything he was doing and immediately felt we were in good hands. Will 100% use Noel again and definitely recommend him!
