Mr. Burris is professional, informative and knows his business. In addition to addressing the problem that I called him for (low pressure in my multi-unit building), the things that he taught me about regular maintaining my plumbing and things I can do to prevent problems, made his reasonable service fee more than worth it.

Jake and Brandon were terrific ! They came out at short notice (didn't charge an emergency or late fee because he's a decent human being!!!) and replaced two sump pumps. We only bought the house a month ago and with the threat of heavy rain, needed to have these checked out. He walked in and in 10 seconds diagnosed our issues. Within 30 minutes two new pumps were in. He showed us how they work, what they're made of, etc. He truly knows and takes pride in the work that he does. Cash or check only, but HIGHLY recommended!!

I've hired Martin 3 separate times for various different jobs: appliance mount, ceiling fixture removal and patching and electrical work. I've been happy with the quality of work in all of them. He is honest, skilled, reliable, a great communicator on-site and his rates are straight-forward and reasonable.

One point of criticism: I wish he was stronger in responding to inbound service requests and follow-ups until the appointment date. He's been inconsistent about this but if you are patient enough to roll with this flaw, I believe it is worth it. To be clear, Martin has never skipped any appointments that he had confirmed with me.

I have full confidence in him and will continue to be a repeat customer. So many other corporatized handyman shops will charge you two limbs for a basic job that oftentimes give you an average outcome. With Affordable Handyman Services, I'm so glad I can give my money to a business owner who actually deserves it.

They are fantastic!  It's always easy to book them.  They're always on time and fix the problem quickly.  They do a great job.  I really recommend them.

Wow. Wow! Wow!!!!!!

I moved into a new house and recently finished our basement. The old owners had an Old Watch Dog system in which the cables were in terrible condition and every now and then the battery would beep randomly.

I was getting tired of it so it was time to buy a new battery backup. After days of research I was sold on the Wayne WSS30VN. Bought it off Amazon with prime, got it within 2 days and then when I opened and compared it to the old Watchdog I was like umm yea, time to call for some help.

Found Emergency Plumbing online and thought I'd give them a try with all the positive reviews I saw.

Man am I so happy I hired them. The business resides in Cary so the commute for them isn't crazy for emergency plumbing situations for me.

They gave a very reasonable quote, I agreed on, they came on time and did a empacable job.  
Within an hour they took out the old Watchdog system, adjusted some PVC tubing and installed my new Wayne WSS30VN. Once it was done they brought a hose they had with them, tested the system and also told me about some other things I never knew like flushing out sediment once a year from the water heater.

They also helped recommend me with some water softeners and sediment filters for the future.

Man I'm so happy I forgot to include their names.

Konstantin and Nick are some or the best in the plumbing game.  I have found my go to plumbers.

We had a major problem with our toilet and we called a neighborhood plumber who charged us $275.00 to literally come and do nothing . Problem still existed . We called Ace Drain and Sewer Experts and actually spoke to the owner directly Mr. Vega. He assessed the situation over the phone and came out right away with his crew. He was actually there for over an hour and needed more parts which he himself went and retrieved them. It was a big job but they got it done and everything is back to normal. They were punctual, courteous and definitely knowledgeable of plumbing industry. There manners and professionalism was impeccable. As long as I am a property owner I will always use there service in the future . I implore my friends and family to do the same. Thanks Mr. Vega for a job well done and your courtesy of the working class.

United Sewer & Drains is pretty awesome.  Can't say enough good things.  Did a great job, fast & didn't cost too much.  Definitely recommend.  These are good people.

I had Excel Plumbing come to do a drain rodding, since the quote from J Blanton seemed extremely high of $407. The tenant reached out to Excel to ask what it would cost to rod a drain and they replied with $279 but that could increase if its more complicate

The managed to clear the pipes by rodding the drain and the total cost was $279.

I appreciated the upfront pricing and coming in a timely manner.

Even after a very hard rain storm where they must have been extremely busy, these guys helped us in a desperate situation..  on a Sunday none the less.  They helped solve the issues we had even when I was out of town and had to work with them remotely.   Top notch service and very skilled at their profession.  I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using him in the future for my other properties.  5 stars.

I've used Thompson Plumbing on 2 occasions, for plumbing and the then for a gas leak. They were able to come same day, fixed the issue and for a price that was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Kelley's plumbing has been our main plumber since we bought our home over 5 years ago.  Tim has made a few emergency late night visits to our fixer upper, we know we can always depend on him and his team. Tim has been prompt, priced very fair,  efficient with their work, very clean,  and they are the most experienced professional plumbers we have ever needed.
I refer Tim out to everyone,  we are very grateful for his help in achieving our fixer upper goals or a late night clogged sink issue.

Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

John saved the day and my Moms 65th birthday! I had new counter tops installed and needed my plumbing hooked back up! I I was so upset when I called him because I had another company just tell me it was going to be $1700.00 because I needed everything new! I just wanted my plumbing hooked back up! I called John late that evening very upset and told him what happened and the first thing he said is do not worry I can help you! He asked for me to send pictures and told me this would not be a problem! Asked for my address and said see you tomorrow and not to be upset!

In September of 2022 we had flash flooding in Portage Park and many homes had sewer back-up flooding, including us.

I called about a dozen plumbers for estimates for a flood control system for our home. Eric from North Coast plumbing looked over our house and quoted a fixed reasonable price for a double valve flood control system.

Sure there a few other options out there but most of them would give us a low price and then all the extras (light electrical for the pump is extra but required), some of them did not even bother to look at the basement.

Eric explained how they would do the job and what kind of materials they would use. I liked they they would be installing precast concrete rings instead of building the pit with blocks. Using blocks is cheaper but I wanted rings.

Basically from start to finish we had a really good experience with Eric, Nicole and the crew.

Kevin and Ron are truly amazing professionals.  They were the only company to actually go to the property to evaluate the situation for 2 different homes recently. Pressure Pro got the job done. Our building building and our unit was notorious for weak water pressure, especially in the bathrooms. Jim and his guys got the pressure back up to a level I didn't think possible. Pressure Pro Rocks!

You think it's nonsense? Why do you think that but not know? The quote sounded accurate, didn't it?! High as $h!t for a simple resolder and you know it. You didn't deny it.

You're guessing it took longer to come out to my location? You probably can't even remember that far back to know my location to be able to make this claim. At best, standard visits for other service contractors are $80; you wouldn't get paid if I turned you down at the door.

Apparently my approach is non realistic because I haven't forgotten the crap you've been pulling after all this years. 6 years later and I still remember you!!! My point exactly. I want others to know they'll never forget an experience with you.

I never said the solder didn't hold, I even tipped you and your son $20 after you finished.
