I never received a call from your business. You failed to show for this appointment. When I contacted your business directly no follow-up was done to complete the work. My number is a Cell number and I'm always available due to the nature of my job. Like I stated I waited all day with no call from this business. I had to find another plumber that did the work after hours.

Martin hung my aerial hammock up in under an hour! When he first came in, he assessed the ceiling in my studio and realized it was too hollow to hold an aerial apparatus so we unfortunately couldn't hang it up there. But he noticed the beam near my door was fully concrete so he suggested we try handing it up there. Martin will not only offer professional advice but also solutions if any problems arise. He's a pleasure to be around and an incredibly skilled worker.

I got an emergency call from my tenant screaming about water pouring into his closet. I called United Sewer and they picked up immediately and told me they'd be there within the hour. They were quick to diagnose the issue and were able to replace a p-trap to the upstairs unit all in the same day. They even went above and beyond to repair some other minor issues I was experiencing while they were there. Thomas and his team were great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I had Excel Plumbing come to do a drain rodding, since the quote from J Blanton seemed extremely high of $407. The tenant reached out to Excel to ask what it would cost to rod a drain and they replied with $279 but that could increase if its more complicate

The managed to clear the pipes by rodding the drain and the total cost was $279.

As landlord out of town with a burst pipe in my tenants unit, I can say I was bit stressed.  Even though they were very busy- pipes bursting all over the city- the first walked my tenants through turning off the water to minimize the flooding.  Later the day they came and fixed it up at a very reasonable price.  The entire time they were exceptionally friendly and professional.  Though I hope I will not need to call them again, if I do, I will not hesitate.

What a gem of a company...seriously.  We had used another local plumbing company that charged us an arm and a leg, and didn't even get the job done.  When we had water coming through our ceiling, we called Thompson Plumbing and Nicholas came out same day.  It took several hours to diagnose the problem and fix it...which he did successfully.  I was terrified to get the bill based on our last experience, and was pleasantly surprised that it was 1/4 of the price the prior company had charged.  I highly recommend Thompson Plumbing...they will be my first call from now on!

We called Body plumbing to repair one of our leaking backflow valves. He gave us good price on the repair and he even came twice to work on it after the first attempt did not come out right at no extra charge. His pricing however on testing was good but we found better so we will use another company for yearly testing. We will definitively call him again to get pricing in the future though.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

John did a fantastic job analyzing my water heater, giving me an appropriate estimate, and scheduling a follow-up to quickly replace my broken water heater.

John was able to text me to notify me of changes in his schedule, and even texted me after his work was complete just to check-in and ensure I was satisfied. He educated me on my new hot water heater, and even chatted with me about which tools would be most helpful for me to purchase and have on-hand for my new condo.

Called on a Sunday explained my situation and Daniel was very helpful. He explained what I had to do and came out the next day to take care of the problem. I would hardly recommend this company.

Wow. This was a first. Jay showed up on time to his credit. From there it just went downhill. I asked Jay to remove his shoes as we would be going upstairs and there is a carpet runner on the steps and carpeted bedroom he would have to walk through. He said no he could not remove his shoes because he'd be bringing equipment in. Ok, that's a first. Typically contractors will have no problem with this or will bring the blue shoe covers. I mention well, ok, as long as your shoes are clean. He then says this isn't going to work, turns around and walks out the door. I stood there a second, picked my jaw up off the floor then opened the door and said you realize how unprofessional you are acting and he said yep, got in his car and left. Maybe he's a pro at improving water pressure (I wouldn't know), but he's far from having a professional demeanor. I'm willing to bet he doesn't behave like this if it was a man greeting him at the door.

I hired J Blanton Plumbing to replace my shower valve cartridge in August 2014, which did not end up being cheap! A few months later, my shower started only producing cold water, so I had to hire another plumbing service to take a look at it. They came in, and said something was wrong with my cartridge. Apparently, the one previously replaced was a knock-off, and so they had to replace it again. I will never look at JB Plumbing again - expensive price for poor service and knock-off products!!
