I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

I had an outstanding experience with Jerry's Pump Service today when they installed my new sump pump. They were the very best that they could be about everything. Punctual, friendly, experts at what they do. You name it. I'll definitely be using them again when I need any plumbing done, and I highly recommend them to one and all.

Great work, great price. Fixed a running toilet and a drain that had come loose from the bottom of a sink.

He does not waste time, he had to take the toilet off a few times to get the seal perfect, all of his work has held up well for over a month.

Will def hire again in the future.

Fixer did an excellent job replacing the basement front door on my house.
The door is not standard dimensions, so the job took two steps:
1. Have Fixer order the door and wait for it to come in
2. Have Fixer pick up the door from Home Depot, abd Fixer install the door.

Emergency plumbing installed our toilets in three of our bathrooms. They even pointed out things to us we hadn't noticed about a pipe that had been leaking which was so helpful! We were so pleased with this experience that we asked them to come back to cap pipes in our basement. Very reasonable price and great on timing.  Very friendly!

Would strongly avoid these guys and the associated headache.

They failed to fix the problem, only half-heartedly tried. They were slow to return when the issue immediately reappeared (despite it being obvious they didn't fix in the first place--they assured it had worked). They also didn't perform all the services charged for (scoping). And no itemized receipt for the services, conveniently. Required deposit, conveniently.

Had to get another company to fix their mess after a hefty bill. The other company did it faster, better, and cheaper.

Now they're ghosting on money they promised to return as a partial refund (itself frustrating since  other company was paid do what they failed to do). Not answering calls.

To call unprofessional is charitable.

Very responsible and highly recommended. Come for estimated and fair price and repaired my front yard sewer within 4 days . Follow up with further concerns. Will hire them again for my maintain .

I had to have our kitchen sinks unplugged and was in somewhat of  a time crunch.  I called several plumbers and wasn't happy with the answers I got in terms of time available and costs.  When I contacted Excel, they were very responsive to my needs and quoted what I felt was a fair cost as compared to some others.  I also asked if they had either military, or senior discounts and they did.  The best part was that they were at my home in less than an hour and Yuri, their plumber worked quickly to unclog the drain.

Should I need a plumber again, they'll be the first one I call.

Had water heater installed by them few months ago on my 2nd floor unit.  The job was not done properly and water leaked to 1st floor ceiling, floor and to finished basement.  I texted them and the guy said he would come the next day but no call, no show. I'm paying another contractor to fix their work that was not done properly.  They're nice enough guys but I am super disappointed and now basically it's costing me double.  I do not recommend.

UPDATE:  shortly after leaving a review, I received s phone call from Terry apologizing and offering to make amends.  I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now and update the review to 5 stars.  Thank you Terry.

Excellent job!  They were able to come out same day and  fix two issues in record time!  Nicolas is very knowledgeable and everyone we dealt with has fantastic customer service.   We will definitely use their services for all our plumbing needs in the future.

I have been putting off replacing my outdoor spigot and burst pipe because I did not know who I could trust to do a decent job at a fair price. Someone at work recommended Tim Keeley, and I called him the next day. He knew exactly what needed to be done and told me how much it would cost, and we scheduled an appointment for the following day. He was there right on time, got the job done quickly, explained what the problem was, and charged me exactly what he had quoted over the phone. I am VERY pleased with the service he provided, and I will not hesitate to call him again the next time a plumbing issue arises.

Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

Found him through yelp and with the free service charge offer he has up there, how could I pass that up?

I'm a do-it-yourselfer, but I thought I should probably leave fixing the leaky toilet to a professional.  Espescially with it starting to spew a steady stream of water, with the puddle starting to attack the wall.

He came out, even made accomadations around my lunch break, and was very professional and pleasant to do business with.  He's one of the few service people that actually do the right job the first time, with the right equipment.  And there's a two year warranty on his service.  So, I will definitely call him up the next time I need some thing fixed.

I won't go anywhere else from now on. Perfectly legit, licensed, knowledgeable, honest, professional and worthy of your business. These know the business and they have more skills than your average plumber.  Again let these guys be your first and only call. Oh almost forgot to mention that another plumber mentioned these guys to me...told me these guys were fair and did great work! I mean come on...

Ed and his guys are great!!! We needed a new kitchen faucet and they came out same day and installed one at a fair price. Very professional and friendly. Will certainly use them for other projects and highly recommend them to anyone else.

We were contemplating busting through our wall to get to the plumbing to fix our painfully slow hot water in our shower. For a very reasonable price, Jay was professional and very responsive and he fixed the problem. Definitely call him to fix your pressure problem.

Ridiculously expensive!  $180 to swap out a shower head (I was providing the shower head, not them).  For small jobs, don't waste your time.  At least the preposterous estimate didn't cost me anything - just wasted my time.
