I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

Jake came out on a Saturday Labor Day weekend to help with standing in my basement. He was so friendly and professional explained everything and it turned out to be just a jammed float in our ejector. He refused to even charge the full service fee and just took a small amount of money! Blown away! Highly recommend and will definitely be calling them when we need to do the next project! Martin was phenomenal!! He was very patient with the whole process. My boyfriend got the wrong wall mount unit, and Martin waited for him to run next door to get the right wall mount. He was very quick with the installation and once we got the right unit the tv was up within 30 mins. He then spent about 15 minutes making sure everything is nice and neat. He bounded all the cables together with electrical tape and wiped down the area after he was done. Absolutely a great experience!! Highly recommended!!

Quick: I needed to replace my overhead microwave unit in my apartment. I reached out to 8-10 different handyman services, fixer was the first to respond. They also were the first to give a quote that was responsible and didn't look the haggle.

Communicative: when fixer reaches out, they have a texting service that they communicate through and have you save in your phone. The texting service Walk's through payment, scheduling, and any changes or updates. After scheduling me a few days later a new appointment time opened up and the texting service alerted me and I made the appointment for the new time.

Professional: fixer had two people come. As soon as they checked in, I received an email/text that said the people had checked in and their estimate for job length. They best their estimated time by 30 minutes which saved me substantial dollars from the initial estimate.

Pro tip: use the Yelp handyman feature for looking for a handy man.

I've called Konstantin first for my water spigot breaking. He cut out the pipe and installed a shut off valve the next day.

Second; my water heater went out on a weekend. His guy came in and swapped it out quickly and made it so we could have warm showers for work the next day and the pricing was fantastic, plus they hauled away the old one.

Last night my drain backed up during a laundry cycle. He came out today and hydrojetted my sewer line and showed me video before and after of how many roots had invaded my clay pipes.

I would 100% recommend emergency plumbing for any job! It's worth every penny to find a good honest person so if your looking for a new plumber, this is the one!

I had Excel Plumbing come to do a drain rodding, since the quote from J Blanton seemed extremely high of $407. The tenant reached out to Excel to ask what it would cost to rod a drain and they replied with $279 but that could increase if its more complicate

The managed to clear the pipes by rodding the drain and the total cost was $279.

I tried to remedy the slow drain in my tenants shower and sink.  I gave it the college try and knew when to throw the towel in...not literally.  One of the tenants mentioned their friend who had used Your Helpful Plumber and recommended them.   I decided to give them a chance.  That was at 10:30 am.  They met me at the property at 1pm and communicated beautifully....a challenge for many these days even with cell phones.  Terry was not only prompt, he was pleasant and got to the issue immediately.  He quickly used his special tools, which I did not possess to unclog the slow moving drains.  We tested for leaks and before you knew it he was done.
Hi highly recommend this team to help you when you need them.  Oh and the price is more than fare.

My experience with Tim was great! Unfortunately for me, my clogged bathtub was a bigger issue than I had initially thought. Tim explained to me what was going on, and all possible options to fix it. Scheduling a time was easy and now my tub is like new! He was knowledgeable and had excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

I'm a do-it-yourselfer, but I thought I should probably leave fixing the leaky toilet to a professional.  Espescially with it starting to spew a steady stream of water, with the puddle starting to attack the wall.

He came out, even made accomadations around my lunch break, and was very professional and pleasant to do business with.  He's one of the few service people that actually do the right job the first time, with the right equipment.  And there's a two year warranty on his service.  So, I will definitely call him up the next time I need some thing fixed.

Normally I don't usually write reviews, even though I read them all the time. It's because of the reviews I called North Coast Sewer, about the water I was getting in the basement during heavy storms. From the first visit this company was very courteous and professional. They installed a flood control system in my front yard which took a day to install. I was very impressed at the work they did, but also the care they take in doing it. After they are done you wouldn't believe the small footprint that is left after the large amount of work they had done! To everyone at North Coast Sewer, Thank you for doing such a great job!

Ed, Daniel, & Marty are the best and most honest plumbers you will EVER find. They are highly educated and continually attend school to hone their craft and learn about the latest technology. They work quickly, efficiently, and are HONEST. They have done both major and minor plumbing work at my home, and walked me through all aspects of their work before and after the completion of their work. My hot water pressure was down to a trickle in my shower and not much better in the kitchen. Our condo management group recommended Pressure Pro and now I know why.
I called and left a message and the same day Jay called back saying he could stop by later that day in the afternoon if it was convenient for me.
He did an amazing job on both faucets. The pressure has never been this good in the 25 years I've been here.

So let me begin by suggesting that it is not my intention to badmouth, disparage, assail or perpetually punish a retail establishment or small business owner for the experience I endured that may or may not be indicative of J Blanton Plumbing's myriad customers. I wish this plumbing contractor health, wealth and continued success. Having established that, here is my narrative. I purchased three Kohler Veil Intelligent Toilets and needed them installed. The dispatch service arranged for the date, time and location and confirmed that it would be US$79.00 to come out and assess the work/repairs. Very straightforward and easily understood. Spoiler: the estimate was going to be (read: should have been) lower than a conventional toilet estimate for several reasons. To expedite the process I previously (1) removed all three, two-piece toilets (2) cleaned up around and relocated the vanities in the area where the toilets were to be dropped (3) measured, drilled and screwed in the Kohler Veil studs necessary to stabilize each toilet (4) purchased three wax rings (5) tested and trued the water flow rate of the new supply stop to the new water lines and (6) secured silicon and plumbers tape to assist with the install. All that J Blanton would need to do is the following: (1) turn off the water (2) place a wax ring on the four-inch conduit flange (3) center and drop the toilet (4) tighten the nuts to the studs (5) attach the water line (6) turn the water back on (7) test for leaks (8) silicon around the base of each toilet and (9) enjoy what remains of its earthly life. J Blanton Plumbing's quote: US$478.99/toilet. That's right. With taxes, I would be paying over US$1,600.00 to install three toilets. Needless to say, I obviously did not hire them. In fact I remember stating that I would sooner leave the US Department of Justice and join Al Qaeda before I pay someone, anyone US$1,500.00 to install three toilets. Subsequently, I enlisted a dear friend to help with shutting off the water and centering the toilet drop. We finished all three toilets in 75 minutes. Looks amazing! Now, I defend the right of J Blanton Plumbing to charge US$10,000 + LIBOR per toilet if it wishes. I mean, it's a free Republic. But unless you're a consumer who pities the economic health of our divided nation and wishes simply to transfer your own wealth to the pockets of another, than there is categorically no reason to hire J Blanton Plumbing to install your toilets. Again, this is simply one, sub-optimally brilliant Norwegian's opinion amidst a sea of many. Lesson: Be smart!
