I called Mr. Burris late at night when I came home from work and discovered I had no heat. First thing the next morning Mr. Burris came to my house personally. He very quickly got all of my radiator heaters/ boiler working. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knew immediately what was wrong with my heat! I will always call Mr. Burris for any of my hearing, or plumbing in the future. While he was here he also gave me a great referral for some electrical work that I need done in my home. He went over and above and I can truly say that this has been my best home repair service that I have gotten since I moved to Chicago

Jake couldn't have been more kind and professional. He was at my house first thing on a Sunday morning. He identified the problems and was patient with us. He discovered our problems were a more severe than we all thought. He referred us to another company to handle our major repairs and even called to check in later on our progress. Although Jake wasn't able to to fix everything I couldn't be more impressed and I would use him again without question.

Martin is exceptional! This is our first home, and with young kids he has helped us with everything from basic maintenance, fixing dings and damage, to larger projects like tiling and renovations. He gives excellent options that are cost effective, safe, and beautiful. He has a wide range of expertise and he always wears his mask and takes safety precautions very seriously.

We've had Fixer five times now and have been super impressed with their reliability, skill level and communication. They ALWAYS show up and they do what they say they're going to do in the time frame they say they'll need. Their rates are fair. Beck L is our favorite Fixer--incredibly competent and very pleasant. We also like that Fixer offers its staff decent benefits and guaranteed hours, so it's not a situation where a corporation is squeezing gig workers for every dollar they make. It's a company we feel great about supporting.

I moved into a new house and recently finished our basement. The old owners had an Old Watch Dog system in which the cables were in terrible condition and every now and then the battery would beep randomly.

I was getting tired of it so it was time to buy a new battery backup. After days of research I was sold on the Wayne WSS30VN. Bought it off Amazon with prime, got it within 2 days and then when I opened and compared it to the old Watchdog I was like umm yea, time to call for some help.

Found Emergency Plumbing online and thought I'd give them a try with all the positive reviews I saw.

Man am I so happy I hired them. The business resides in Cary so the commute for them isn't crazy for emergency plumbing situations for me.

They gave a very reasonable quote, I agreed on, they came on time and did a empacable job.  
Within an hour they took out the old Watchdog system, adjusted some PVC tubing and installed my new Wayne WSS30VN. Once it was done they brought a hose they had with them, tested the system and also told me about some other things I never knew like flushing out sediment once a year from the water heater.

They also helped recommend me with some water softeners and sediment filters for the future.

Man I'm so happy I forgot to include their names.

Konstantin and Nick are some or the best in the plumbing game.  I have found my go to plumbers.

We had a major problem with our toilet and we called a neighborhood plumber who charged us $275.00 to literally come and do nothing . Problem still existed . We called Ace Drain and Sewer Experts and actually spoke to the owner directly Mr. Vega. He assessed the situation over the phone and came out right away with his crew. He was actually there for over an hour and needed more parts which he himself went and retrieved them. It was a big job but they got it done and everything is back to normal. They were punctual, courteous and definitely knowledgeable of plumbing industry. There manners and professionalism was impeccable. As long as I am a property owner I will always use there service in the future . I implore my friends and family to do the same. Thanks Mr. Vega for a job well done and your courtesy of the working class.

During the Spring of 2017 my basement flooded at least w inches of water during heavy rains in chucago.  I had the lines Roddenberry 3 different  times thinking each time this will work.  Nope.  I purchased submersible sump pumps to send the water wherever it's supposed to go.  Finally, Spring 2019 was the food that broke the camels back.  I called United Sewer & Drain.  These guys came out with cameras and showed me the water pipe from the city to my property was broken on my side of the sidewalk.  United took out the old pipes, installed new pipes and Voila, no more flooding until the next heavy rain.  I called them back, they returned and discovered the pipe goongbto the drain at the back of the house between the basement back door and steps was broken.  How does that happen?  They dug up the concrete, installed bew pipe, concrete the area, made the drain a little larger than the ol one and I am now a happy camper.  Call these guys if you are having flooding problems.  Oh, by the way - before calling United I called the City, no help at all.

I had to have our kitchen sinks unplugged and was in somewhat of  a time crunch.  I called several plumbers and wasn't happy with the answers I got in terms of time available and costs.  When I contacted Excel, they were very responsive to my needs and quoted what I felt was a fair cost as compared to some others.  I also asked if they had either military, or senior discounts and they did.  The best part was that they were at my home in less than an hour and Yuri, their plumber worked quickly to unclog the drain.

Should I need a plumber again, they'll be the first one I call.

I found this company on Yelp and I'm very glad I did!  I'm a new homeowner and have not needed much work done to date.  My toilet had not been flushing and then my bathroom sink had an extremely slow drain.  I finally got fed up and yelped plumbers in the area.  They came the same day!!!  Worked around my schedule and were very helpful (not just a clever name!  lol).  They even fixed the drain stopper in my sink without me asking and gave me tips on things to do so I won't need a plumber again.  All very worth it.  They cared that I was happy with my service and I really appreciate that.  They also answer the phone/callback quickly.  All in, great service!

We called for an emergency on a Saturday and he was here within 20 minutes. He took care of the problem in 5 minutes and everything was good. I would recommend them anytime.

Another successful service appointment! We had a clog in our kitchen sick and Kyle came out the next day and fixed everything for us!

We called Body plumbing to repair one of our leaking backflow valves. He gave us good price on the repair and he even came twice to work on it after the first attempt did not come out right at no extra charge. His pricing however on testing was good but we found better so we will use another company for yearly testing. We will definitively call him again to get pricing in the future though.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.
I'll look forward to working with Chicago Backflow again on my annual inspection next year.  Thanks again, Mark S.

A waste of time!! Looking through the reviews on here, I decided to contact this company to get an estimate for some work to be done in a recently remodeled master bathroom. First, they showed up a couple of hours late (which I understand considering it's a trade that's unpredictable and they might have had delayed because of previous jobs). They showed up, gave me a price, which I agreed on, but once I asked them to provide us with their license as required by our building in order to shut off the water, they went completely silent and never heard from them. They claim to be bonded and licensed, but I'm wondering if it's in fact the case. A complete waste of my time.

Following this post, they found nothing better to do than threaten to report me to the building department and the condo association.

In February we had sewer line back-up due to a broken connection in our line to the city service. Another highly regarded plumber on the North Shore rodded the line, found the damage, and quoted a very high fee to repair and install a new clean plus inspect for likely further trenching and line replacement. Then Eric Rohde from North Coast came up, did a very thorough inspection and explained the situation very professionally. He provided a quote for repair including deep trenching for many $thousands less than the other firm, and assured me that further line work was in fact unlikely to be needed. Almost immediately, Nicole, Eric and team proceeded to pull the permit, schedule J.U.L.I.E. marking, and set up the job. The whole workday went as planned, and Eric coordinated closely with the Village of Deerfield inspector so he could observe the work and look at the video of the remaining line to the city service (all clear). Eric and his team could not have been more professional. They were at all times friendly, respectful and answered all our questions (dumb and otherwise!). They left the job site very tidy looking. We will certainly have Eric and his team back to handle any other drainage and sewer tasks. Highly recommended!

Ed and his guys are great!!! We needed a new kitchen faucet and they came out same day and installed one at a fair price. Very professional and friendly. Will certainly use them for other projects and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Amazing service! We've had annoyingly slow hot water in our shower for the last three years. Then we learned about Pressure Pro and gave them a call. In 20 minutes our hot water was transformed from a trickle to abundance. The difference is simply amazing. Our only regret is that we didn't find out about PP years ago. I called J. Blanton Plumbing after another business didn't return my call. There was a clog in my pipe causing water to back-up into my sink when my upstairs neighbors ran their dishwasher. My dishwasher was also not draining. When I called, the woman who answered the phone was really quite lovely and when Chris and Trevor arrived a few hours later they were really great guys. They routed the pipe, let me know that it was a common pipe and that my association may reimburse me, and when they noticed something wasn't quite right they let me know what the possible issue may be and the future action to take without it being a straight up hard sell on additional services. I've never needed a plumber before and this was really a great experience. I think they will be my go-tos from now on.
