Zoom Drain responded very quickly to my inquiry early on a Monday morning, and showed up to inspect and perform the work as promised. Abe and Antonio were punctual and professional, and walked me through their plan to rod out my sewer line and install a stand pipe, keeping me apprised of their progress as they went along. Great customer experience, and I would absolutely recommend them.

LOVE PPP! Shannon and Ann Marie make a great team. The first time i called, Shannon came out, same day and fixed our disposal right away. The second time I called (regarding potential frozen pipes and our washing machine now working)-- didn't even require a visit as they advised me on ways to fix it myself... which saved me the time and money of having them come out. I will ALWAYS use these guys!!

Paul is exactly what I want in a person whom I entrust to come into my home to fix/replace something.

I had called several companies recommended to me - Paul the Plumber was on that list. What set him apart in the beginning was his suggestion, on his website, to send him pictures of the issue at hand. This offers a customer an immediate connection - a real way to be seen, and the problem validated.

He makes communication easy via email/text/call.

Paul is professional, smart, friendly, fair-priced, and efficient. He helped me through the entire process of getting a new water heater and getting rid of the old one. He also answered my questions about fixing/replacing a toilet - never once pushing on me brands out of my price range that I really didn't need. His knowledge of brands/features/stores to search saved me hours of time as I tend to overthink/research such things. I hired Paul to come back to install the toilet!

It's been a few weeks - both items are working GREAT! :D

It was surely a bummer to have had to make large purchases after buying this condo only 2.5 years ago ... and I am sure there will be more opportunities for me to use Paul the Plumber's expertise -- that's the good and bad new all in one lol.

I hired forte plumbing to install a new kitchen sink and faucet  and to repair the leaky pipe under it. Robert forte came with a woman who was to do the work. she started work on the sink and pipes 3 hours later she was finished.   in the bathroom she installed the pipes and faucet , then realized the faucet didn't fit. she left , came back with another faucet and installed that one.   six hours later Robert forte came back with another plumber and said the kitchen sink was not right. they removed the kitchen sink and reinstalled it.  I paid them.   four days later I am still removing caulk that is oozing from the kitchen sink  I went to put back the toiletries under my vanity and the door fell off. I called the office and the woman said that the door was probably broken before.  I asked if someone could come and fix the door. no one called me back.       VERY DISAPPOINTED INEXPERIENCED PLUMBER SLOPPY JOB  FROM  A COMPANY THAT I TRUSTED            .

It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the girl who helped me schedule was very helpful. They fixed a leak at the base of my toilet, and everything is working great now!

Dominick was quick to get back to me and set up an appointment for Monday morning. He was right on time and had my old ejector pump removed with a new one installed in less than an hour. New pump looks and runs beautifully. I recommended him to my father who used used him a few weeks later to replace his faulty ejector pump as well.

My husband and I were out of town and our 18 and 20 year old were home alone and called to let us know water was dripping from our ceiling through our kitchen light fixture.  Pete, the owner, was recommended to me by a neighbor.  He was at our house within 2 hours, was very reassuring on the phone, diagnosed the issue quickly, was very polite to our teenage son and explained everything in detail.  He followed up with text pictures of the issue (since we were not home) and did not even charge me his trip fee!  Highly recommend.

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

Nothing like calling this place at 9:00pm on a Sunday night with no heat and having them be able to come out by 10:15pm- that's what you call good service. The guy on the phone was extremely helpful and did everything he could to get somehow out to us. The guy who came to fix the heat was extremely pleasant, knowledgable and professional. We could not have been happier and would recommend this company 101%!

These jokers are something else. They came in on a service call from American Home Shield (which should automatically be a HUGE, BRIGHT, SHINY, GLITTERY, FLASHY RED FLAG). Plumber came in, diagnosed the problem right away, but was then told NOT to complete service (for completely unknown reasons...most likely because this was a warranty call, because these shysters would rather you pay out-of-pocket instead of going through a scam like AHS.) It amazes me how these companies work with shams like AHS, then when you offer to pay instead of using the warranty, they seem to warm up to you much quicker. I guess equal opportuniy does not apply here. If you have a warranty, then you may be SOL. If you are paying straight-up, you may be in luck, but I wouldn't even bother at that point. If a company can't be bothered to honor a contractual agreement they have with another vendor, how can you trust them to do anything for you?

The tech himself bragged about his 40 years of service, and he knew what the problem was. He explained it, but then after he called into the office about what the repair was, the lady at dispatch told him not to complete the repair. When we called to ask what was happening with the repair, we were told that the plumber was instructed NOT to complete this repair, and suddenly, availability seemed to be an issue, despite what we were initially told.

I don't blame them for anything other than having a terrible receptionist/dispatcher. The plumber just does as he is told, even if he knows exactly how to fix the problem. If the higher-ups say no, then that's that. I can't give ZERO stars (which is about how many certain letters some companies seem to give about their clients), so I give at least one extra star since I can't blame the plumber, no matter what his expertise is. If anything, it would seem management is rude, inconsiderate, clueless, tactless, and ultimately, not worth dealing with.

STAY AWAY..and if you have AHS (American Home Shield), DON'T RE-UP THE CONTRACT. You've been warned.

I had to have MD come back out today to replace a leaky faucet & repair a toilet that one of my kids biologically messed up. When I say these plumbers have hearts of gold, I mean it. They're so friendly, fast, expert quality, & so affordable that I will never hesitate to have them return to perform work. And when it's fixed, it's fixed, don't have to watch & worry. MD are the ONLY plumbers I can recommend. Every five stars review is spot on & very well deserved!!!

Our kitchen sink stopped working a couple of days ago and after failing miserably trying to self-diagnose, I went onto Yelp to find a certified plumber to come out. I called Courtesy on yesterday and they were able to promptly get someone scheduled to come out less than 24 hours later (on New Year's Eve).  Jason called me when he was 15 minutes away and was prompt,  courteous, and professional.  The problem ended up being very minor (thankfully). Although he could've charged me a trip charge without hesitation, he did not. Literally, he made my day! I will definitely use Courtesy again and will proudly recommend them to others.

Extremely nice, professional, punctual, and did a great job. I highly recommend his services!

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Needed someone to install a new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Mikey was very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell he pays attention to detail and wants the customer to be happy with his work! Extremely satisfied how it turned out.  Highly recommend.

We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.

1 star is actually too high for their service.  Unfortunately the option for 0 stars is available.

In the past 2 years i had both an air conditioner and a furnace installed.  But there service after that has been a complete joke.  

They claim 24x7 service that is a lie -- we have been told by several customer service reps that only means you can make an appointment 24 x 7.  Not that you will see a tech in an emergency.

Don't expect anything to be fixed the first time.  Also don't assume they did everything they said they did and charged you for.  We had one set of techs claim they replaced the wire from the thermostat to the furnace.  When we had the same problem a week later -- the new tech found they did not replace the wire but spliced a new piece in.  Since they charged for a wire replacement -- I was expecting they were replacing the wire.

Don't expect them to honor there time commitments  - today we were told anytime between 9am and midnight -- at 11.45pm we were told they could be there at 1.00am.  I said reschedule me for the next day instead. No cannot do they are booked up.  Customer service will just give you the company line -- we are experiencing heavy call volume.

Don't expect their annual service means you will be problem free.  Last month they came to check out the heater (less than a year old) and change the humidifier pad.  Now the humidifier is leaking as the pad is clogged.  Did they actually change the pad.

They will try to sell you their priority club $25 -- sounds great.  You get discounted service - and priority service.  NO YOU DON'T.  Their customer service cannot even tell you what you get.  Some don't even know about the club.

We first used 4 Seasons to replace our AC as they are affiliated with Costco and I made the mistake that Costco had vetted them.  Just know just because they are affiliated with Costco -- dont expect Costco level service or quality.

Found Ed the Plumber in our church's bulletin. A service call to our building was $125. We had three issues in our unit that needed to be addressed, each issue that we were quoted at $500 per each, or $1,500. This quote was going to cost me more than double the amount I donate to my church every year. I ended up paying the $125, and then had another plumber come in and complete the job for only $200 all together.

If you want to pay high prices, then go to Ed the Plumber. Otherwise I'd just move on.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
