The plumbers came right out and installed a new toilet. When we had problems a few days later, (not their fault) they came right back and fixed it for no charge. Great service! Would recommend to anyone.

LOVE PPP! Shannon and Ann Marie make a great team. The first time i called, Shannon came out, same day and fixed our disposal right away. The second time I called (regarding potential frozen pipes and our washing machine now working)-- didn't even require a visit as they advised me on ways to fix it myself... which saved me the time and money of having them come out. I will ALWAYS use these guys!!

BOTTOM LINE. 5/5 stars. Professional, reasonable, and local. Glad to support a local small business. I would use Paul again and recommend them.

PROBLEM. Had water running down into my basement from a first-floor wall Sunday night. I had to shut the water off. So it was an emergency Monday morning. I was preparing to get gouged by a plumber.

EMERGENCY. Called Paul after a referral from another company that could not accommodate the emergency. Paul had someone out within 2.5 hours.

ASSESSMENT. Paul's plumber found the cause of the problem. The cause of the water was the pipe to the laundry room utility sink that was coming loose behind the wall.

PRICING. Gouged?  Absolutely not!! Paul was upfront on what the cost would be. They charge by the hour. The plumber fixed everything within an hour. The rate was reasonable.

CLEAN UP. We were happy with the care Paul's plumber took to clean up the work area. No additional cleaning up was needed.

EXTRAS. I had the plumber replace the shutoff valves for just the cost of parts, as they charge labor by the hour. Heck... I was making a mental list of tasks had there been remaining time I was paying for.

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

One star only because they did come to our home fast! But of course they would knowing they would take advantage of new homeowners. Rescue plumbing? Not one bit. They charged almost $2000 for rodding. A service that ABC plumbing/ cooling etc did for $93.
We had to call again due to the issue not being resolved after this company came to fix our problem.
We called and spoke to owner on why it was so expensive and he quickly came to the rescue of his own workers KNOWING we were gouged. He refunded a small amount back but they were not very nice and will never call again.
I hope no one gets taken advantage of by them.

I called Pete today to take a look at our sump pump, humidifier, and hot water heater. I called this afternoon and he fit me in same day. He's courteous, professional, and gave us a quick diagnosis of our problems. He did not try to upsell us any products we did not need. He's local, which is important to my family. I will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.

Positive experience, was able to call Ray during an emergency at 11pm (I live in Mokena) he came right out fixed the problem. Very nice and didn't charge a fortune. Will  definitely  use again.

I was really happy with their work. We had an outside spigot that broke and we were forced to turn off the water to our home. Next morning the guy was at our home at 8 AM and replaced the spigot, added a shut off valve for the spigot and ended up replacing our master shutoff valve (ours failed to stop the water completely).

It wasn't cheap but EXCELLENT work; the guy didn't have an additional shut off valve but said next time he was in the area he would honor the lower price. Less than one week later he came back and replaced that additional shut off valve.

Again, it was expensive but cheaper than Black Diamond and the work was timely and top quality.

This company was recommended by my home warranty company and they were fantastic. They were easy to reach, called me if there were any changes in the schedule, showed up on time and repaired the issue quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Sometimes you're in a jam and need a competent plumber to help you through a small disaster. Someone that knows about plumbing needs, sump pumps or sewers and you kinda need'em in a heartbeat. It's in that moment that going with the wrong contractor or GC (general contractor) can cost you an arm and a leg. Calling any valid contractor (that is established and insured) outside normal business hours, ie after-hours can lead to extravagant costs. I mention this because it's something, I as a property manager & neighbor  have dealt with. (After hours or emergency service can sometimes be an additional cost on top of their repair costs. Some charge flat fees and others a percentage.) (I would NOT, nor should you, pay any uninsured contractor any emergency monies in the same case. If someone is uninsured and working anything on your property, their errors are now yours.)

In regards to MD plumbing, they offer affordable pricing and haven't yet gouged me in any a circumstance. So in my book I give'em high regard. I have gone with them a handful of times over the years. I like their casual approach with regards to customers. It's on a friendly and helpful level. Depending on the need, they could help or offer helpful advice.

This company is absolutely amazing!! We have had multiple plumbing issues over the last three years and Courtesy has been nothing short of fantastic. The plumbers are honest, respectful and more importantly do quality work.

Everything everyone else said is true!  Mom's sewer was chock full of roots, causing a terrible backup in her bathroom.  He arrived within a half hour and had the problem resolved quickly for a more than fair price.  Why is it the people you don't want to have to deal with are always the kind of people you want to deal with all the time?!?  Thanks, Greg!

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Mike was the first to respond and quote my job. Estimate was fair - not the most expensive / not the least expensive.  Work was completed on time and well - they were super considerate of the house - drop cloths everywhere, booties on and off as they came and went. Overall, Mike and Jr we're a pleasure to work with and handled my last minute audibles with ease!  Definitely will use RMO again!

Your driver in car s113 cut me off on route 31 causing me to slam on my brakes to narrowly avoid hitting him. Also the car behind me almost rear ended me. If this is how you guys drive i would hate to see your quality of work

Found Ed the Plumber in our church's bulletin. A service call to our building was $125. We had three issues in our unit that needed to be addressed, each issue that we were quoted at $500 per each, or $1,500. This quote was going to cost me more than double the amount I donate to my church every year. I ended up paying the $125, and then had another plumber come in and complete the job for only $200 all together.

If you want to pay high prices, then go to Ed the Plumber. Otherwise I'd just move on.

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
