Awesome service and great prices. I recently had water in the basement and didn't know why. Suspected that it was the sump pump. I called a few places and found out that it's probably cheaper and easier to purchase a bar of gold. Finally I got ahold of Shannon at performance pro. He quoted me half the price of everyone else and personally showed up to my house two hours later. You could tell he was good at what he did because he was so meticulous but at the same time he knocked out the job in no time at all. Would recommend to anyone!

Pete and Noah were called in for an emergency water backup situation. They showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. They walked me through what was going on and what they were doing because they needed to use a sewer camera. Let me tell you, I have fond respect for someone like Pete who's been doing this for a while, had the professional courtesy to educate his clients and inform them every step of the way. Listing out all the options and being totally candid about all that is being done. Would recommend them to anyone having any sort of water/plumbing situation.

Dominik was amazing.  He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day.  He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency.  He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

My husband and I were out of town and our 18 and 20 year old were home alone and called to let us know water was dripping from our ceiling through our kitchen light fixture.  Pete, the owner, was recommended to me by a neighbor.  He was at our house within 2 hours, was very reassuring on the phone, diagnosed the issue quickly, was very polite to our teenage son and explained everything in detail.  He followed up with text pictures of the issue (since we were not home) and did not even charge me his trip fee!  Highly recommend.

Positive experience, was able to call Ray during an emergency at 11pm (I live in Mokena) he came right out fixed the problem. Very nice and didn't charge a fortune. Will  definitely  use again.

Called Brian on Sunday morning after sewage backup on Saturday night. He was the first to respond and be able to check out the situation. Brian inspected the problem and determined what the cause was quickly.
He took his time (on a Sunday, and Bears season opener) to explain what had happened, the probable cause, and what my options were. Because of the cost, I had to get a few other quotes.

If I had given the go ahead that morning Brian could have completed this big project same day, while the others said it would be a day or two.

Jake and his helper came next morning with the permits and JULIE already marked the area off. They were very friendly, considerate, worked very hard, clean and took pride in their work. Jake & Brian even found a leaky gasket on my hot water heater and fixed it at no cost.

They stuck to the original estimate with no additional charges like other companies. I would use them for any plumbing needs in the future.

Again this old house had a sump pump that decided to quit right after a day of punishing weather. At first we wanted an estimate, but after remembering the service & style of MD's last visit, I called them back and requested replacement. On a busy day they got here later in the afternoon and didn't waste any time. A personable 2-man crew installed the new pump and hooked it up. Cost-effective, same day, friendly and responsive. Mark and his team know what they're doing; so does the nice gal who handled our service calls.

I've reviewed before but wanted to share my last 2 experiences. During the brutal cold this winter I had a pipe burst in my basement. Courtesy Plumbing was out first thing in the morning to locate the broken pipe and repair it. After finding 2 split pipes Matt Blankenship cleaned the area and told me what I needed to keep if I needed to file an insurance claim.

Because I'm more afraid of water than electricity, I had then out today to replace a toilet that had a bad seal. Again Matt Blankenship showed up ...gave the quote up front and while we had the toilet pulled up to replace the wax ring we had the bowl replaced too. Again, excellent job and left as clean as when he started.

We have been using them for years and every time they're in we know why!

We had a small job and no other plumber wanted to touch it. One other plumber gave us a ridiculous price of $800. The Sewer Guy charged us $100, $50 for the part. Greg came out and did an excellent job! I will definitely use them again.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

I had a leaking valve by the water meter. Mike was the first to respond to my request, and based on my pictures of the problem gave a quote. In two days, Derrick came and replaced the valve. He was personable and skilled.  I was impressed with Mile's responsiveness and Derrick's efficiency. Since I only got one quote, i don't know how competitive is the pricing. Overall I am very satisfied.

I've used these folks for 20 plus years and have always found them to be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. My house has the usual and unusual array of plumbing issues and the problems we've had were sometimes simple and occasionally complex. Things were always explained thoroughly and the work done promptly and well! My neighbor referred me to them and told me she'd used a variety of companies over the years and found these folks to be reliable and consistent! I agree with her wholeheartedly! I would never recommend this company to anyone, I spent almost $6000 on for a brand new complete  HVAC unit and only got 6 winters and 5 summers out of it. They sent 3 different technicians to my house and ALL 3 diagnosed something different and were trying fix problems that other one diagnosed and forced me to spend $500 on parts that I did not even need that never fix it the problem. Their OWN technician (the 3rd guy) and a outside second opinion i got both said the same thing. That when the new unit was installed they didn't change the lines in the house, that have been there since who knows and don't match the size of the unit. Over that time it blew my compressor.  After now sitting in a 86 degree house for a week with a 5 month old, my wife and a 2 year old, also after having to continuously call customer service to leave voicemails only to get calls back to be told I have to wait until the higher ups  get back to them, all I got was a we can process the $500 that you spent (because they mis diagnosed the problem twice) toward the purchase of a new compressor (are you kidding me).  After refusing to hang up and accept that answer they will now refund me the 500 for THEIR mistake but are not taking any responsibility for not changing the lines because the customer service agent didn't see anything about it on the contract when I purchased everything brand new. People do yourself a favor and find someone you trust that won't take advantage of you for not knowing the ins and outs about HVAC systems when making big purchase this company is only concerned with making money and passing the problem back to you because you don't continue to spend money with them every year so they void your warranty. They were essentially box swappers. What a world we live in.

Please beware they will charge you a arm and two legs!!!  My husband found Ed the Plumber information in our  church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and resonable or simply industry service rate  ( which does not mean cheap), but no they are absolutely the worst wanted to  replace a toliet, they quoted me over 1,750.00!!   I asked what type of  toliet costs that much... he said a Gerber so I wanted to research it  I asked for a model number and was told I DON'T KNOW, the most expensive one I found was 389.99 so are they charging 1300.00 to install, hypothetically even if the toliet costed 750.00 are they charging 1000.00 to install??  Then he said if you purchase the toliet we will install for approximately 700.00!!! I also was going to get my tub caulked since they would already be here they quoted 385.00 for just around the tub!!! This company is the absolute worst type of ripoffs ever, they prey on parishioners seeing  their advertisement in the church bulletin and believe they are contacting a honest business, but the truth is Ed the Plumber is   just using a cheap form of advertisement with a very large potential customer base with a lot of word of mouth. I really wish I could give them a  -0 for a rating!!!

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
