One of my tenants had an issue with flushing their toilet because it black flowed so I searched and contacted Zoom Drain. Pam, who was the dispatcher for the Chicago location, told me that the soonest she could have a tech come out would be tomorrow afternoon. After explaining to her that my tenants were elderly  she told me that she would contact the sister company which was located in Glenview.  Pam called me later on to tell me that she was able to find 2 techs from the Glenview based location. I got a text from Zoom Drain saying that their tech would arrive within 30 minutes.  Christian and Antonio arrived and were both wearing face masks due to covid. They were able to assess the problem with the toilet which was a single clog issue and it was due to the old pipe drain and a flushable wipe. Both Christian and Antonio suggested that new toilet bowl would be more efficient because the old toilet didn't have enough power in the flush in addition to it using alot of water. They also explained what I expect to see whenever I decided to get some work done on the outside drain. All I can say is that Pam, Christian and Antonio were all professional. I was satisfied and I sincerely appreciated their help. I will be looking forward to using the services of Zoom Drain in the future.

Awesome service and great prices. I recently had water in the basement and didn't know why. Suspected that it was the sump pump. I called a few places and found out that it's probably cheaper and easier to purchase a bar of gold. Finally I got ahold of Shannon at performance pro. He quoted me half the price of everyone else and personally showed up to my house two hours later. You could tell he was good at what he did because he was so meticulous but at the same time he knocked out the job in no time at all. Would recommend to anyone!

Paul was great! Prompt. Professional. Honest. On time. Couldn't ask for more. Did great work and did it neatly. Even tried to save a few pieces of plumbing so he didn't have to charge me for new ones. Who does that! Paul does. Will definitely be using him in the near future.

They gave me an honest evaluation of the problems and were upfront about the solutions and the cost of repairs.  They did a good job repairing my kitchen faucet and bathroom sink drain and supplied me with an estimate for the larger repairs.   I really appreciated that they were on-time and available right away, I highly recommend these guys - thank you!!

Dominik was amazing.  He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day.  He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency.  He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

This review is regarding customer service: He called me back asap regarding the problem we were having in our sink. We didn't use his service because my house was under warranty and the contracted plumber came and fixed it. In the future, we will be using Burr Oak Plumbing. Thank you for calling us back.

My mom had an emergency on a Sunday afternoon with her sump pump in her basement. I called and within the hour they were at her place and solved the problem. Great customer service and very kind. Mark & his crew were life savers when our water heater went kaput at the start of the cold season!  A friend of a friend recommended him when I was looking for a plumber to install an already purchased water heater (was just waiting for the old one to stop working and when it did, we were not prepared to install the new one). After calling several plumbers in the area, most of whom were obviously put off that I would not also be purchasing the water heater from them and claimed that the project would take too long to fit into their schedule, Mark was more than willing to come by and complete the 2 hour install.  I was very happy with his rate and perhaps more importantly, the workmanship.  It's such a relief to finally find that go-to person in town for plumbing!

I've seen the trucks all over the area for years,  the only thing was I didn't need a plumber at the time.   When I needed a plumber I knew who to call.  I did read the reviews and it was clear unlike a clogged line to the sewer, to call Courtesy Plumbing.   Prompt and professional and very clear on how pricing works, I would not at all hesitate to highly recommend them.   I'll need them to come out again and rod and I have confidence in their ability to do the job and do it well.

I called several plumbers on a Saturday due to a clogged sewer line. Few even called me back. Greg called right away and was over within a half hour. Greg couldn't have been nicer. Great job. Reasonable price.

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

My toilet was leaking last week after a long 12 hour shift in the ER and I was so over it. I reached out to MIKE at RMO plumbing and he was able to give me a quote over the phone, and we scheduled a date for him to come out asap which I really appreciated. Mike came out and installed my new toilet and saved me some money by getting his hands dirty. Being a new home owner I was so worried but Mike made sure to take care of my needs and at a fair price. RMO plumbing definitely gained a forever customer.

We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.

My air conditioning was not working so I call to set up an appointment. The window for the technician was between 1-8 PM (really?!) but ok, I waited.  When the technician arrives he right away talks to me about the fee.  Then he asks where the unit is located. I live in a town home and our until is located on the roof.  Apparently, they do not service a/c units located on a roof.  A few simple questions when setting up the appointment could have saved me a ENTIRE day of waiting and the technician a trip.  WHAT A WASTE.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, for anything!!!  Charges $125 to walk in your door, whether you hire him or not.  Was told on phone when I made the appointment, if I hired them the $125. would be waived.  I assumed that meant deducted from bill.  NO... it did not!!!   I found Ed the Plumber information in our church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and reasonable.  Quote was $498.00 to replace my kitchen faucet (which I purchased separately).  Since I choose NOT to hire them I had to pay the $125. !!  

Next day I hired someone else and paid $175.00 TOTAL for this simple job.

This guy is a thief and using the church bulletin to rake in the $$$. I had to ask about the parishioner discount and then ask for senior discount, which only reduce the quote to $438.00.  Ridiculous, definitely out for the bucks and not to earn a good reputation.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
