These guys were great, came out within 2 hours. Technicians took the time to diagnose and explain the issue. Very honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

We called on a Sunday night, the owner returned our call within a few minutes and tried to talk us through the repair on our own. When our rookie work didn't hold, they came out and got us all fixed up the same day. The estimate was accurate, the work was fast, and they were great to work with. Very satisfied, would use again.

Had Paul out over the summer to fix a clogged drain. Super professional, prompt, and overall a great guy. He takes pride in his work and really does treat it as if it was his own house. There's a reason this guy doesn't have to advertise, his work ethic and the quality of work speak for themselves.
Yesterday (Sunday) morning we noticed that we had no hot water. Opened the basement door and could see water on the floor, I called Paul right away. He walked me through the steps to turn off the water supply and drain the tank to avoid a bigger mess. He didn't want to have to charge me for a Sunday call so he moved his schedule around so that he could come first thing Monday morning. A few minutes later he called and said that he lived 5 minutes away and would come over to make sure everything was shut off and hook up the hose to drain the tank. The man stopped by on his way to church at no charge! He pointed out how the previous water heater was not properly installed and fixed the copper and PVC pipes accordingly. He is as clean as he is thorough and went above and beyond as he did the first time I used him. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone I know in need of a plumber. I hope I never see him again (haha) but should I ever be in need of a plumber, there's no question as to who I would call....

Update: Over 2 years later garbage disposal stops working. After a quick call to company Carmen shows up and with a quick turn of an Allen wrench has it back and running again and doesn't charge me a dime even though the warranty has already expired. Would definitely use again!
8142 Grand Ave River Grove, IL 60171
It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the girl who helped me schedule was very helpful. They fixed a leak at the base of my toilet, and everything is working great now!

Dominik was amazing. He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day. He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency. He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

My husband and I were out of town and our 18 and 20 year old were home alone and called to let us know water was dripping from our ceiling through our kitchen light fixture. Pete, the owner, was recommended to me by a neighbor. He was at our house within 2 hours, was very reassuring on the phone, diagnosed the issue quickly, was very polite to our teenage son and explained everything in detail. He followed up with text pictures of the issue (since we were not home) and did not even charge me his trip fee! Highly recommend.

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

I got a very prompt response on a weekday morning for an emergency when I really needed help, water backing up all over my floor. The plumber who came out was polite, very competent, and very careful to communicate to me every step of the process of diagnosing the problem and what the likely cost was shaping up to be. I was very pleased with this experience.

Plumber was on time, professional and quick ! Got the job done in under 2 hours and for a third of the price of other companies!
Lake Bluff, IL 60044
The plumbers were very courteous and informative. Good craftsmanship. Would definitely recommend them!
8050 Lawndale Ave Skokie, IL 60076
We are so excited to have found our favorite company for our plumbing needs. They are responsive, honest and do great work!
10 N Bolingbrook Dr Link Ste 3B, Link 10 Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Extremely nice, professional, punctual, and did a great job. I highly recommend his services!
4214 Leland Ave Lyons, IL 60534
They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.
2857 W 39th Pl Chicago, IL 60632
Mike was prompt in responding back with an estimate and he showed up on time. He replaced the kitchen faucet and leaky bathroom showers with ease. His professionalism is greatly appreciated and I would strongly recommend him for any plumbing related work.
625 Ebony Dr Oswego, IL 60543
We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.
422 Chestnut St Hinsdale, IL 60521
I'll give them one star for being courteous during this entire debacle, but their otherwise incompetent actions make that iffy.
Appointment for quote was easy, the sales rep was helpful, and the price was good. Quick turnaround on an install date.
I scheduled it for a Friday I thought I would be home, but I was called to duty with the National Guard to assist with flood fighting efforts. No worries, I think. The sales rep promised I was in good hands and Four Seasons has the best installers around.
Install day comes, my girlfriend rearranges her schedule to be there, and all seems to go well. It's a full system install so I expect it to take most of the day. 8 to 11 install window, they arrive around 1030. Part of the system was a powered humidifier, wrong size was delivered, so there was some delay while they waited for the right size. Oh well, these things happen. New one is here and in it goes.
All that is left is quick wire connections to my Nest Thermostat, right? WRONG! I get that Nest is tricky, but these are the best installers in the business.
10 pm rolls around, still working on it. 11 pm and still there. I now get on speakerphone with them and listen as they spend another hour trying the trial and error method of determining which wire goes where. Just about midnight, I kick them out of my house. They promise they will get a tech out first thing in the morning to finish it.
Next morning arrives and I get a call. Hi, this is Four Seasons, we would like to schedule your service call for Monday. WTF, I think. Well you'll need to check with my girlfriend as I am out of town for the foreseeable future. She gets a call, rearranges her schedule again, and we wait. Thankfully it was a cool weekend and we could keep the windows open.
Monday morning comes and I get a call from the same installer that couldn't finish the job before. They are on their way back. Double WTF.
They again arrive at almost 11, spend most of the day there, not getting anything done, causing my girlfriend to have to cancel work appointments, and leave without a working system. At least this time they are sending a tech right away.
Meanwhile, I start calling customer service. Only to find it is just a voicemail box leave your number and we will call you back. I do, 3 times, finally get a call around 8pm, and miss it of course. They leave an extension to call back. TO. THE. SAME. VOICEMAIL.
The tech is great. In under 45 minutes he has the wiring resolved and thermostat working. He makes mention that there is a warning about low pressure from the AC Compressor, but says it is because it is a new system and nothing to worry about. Finally over I think.
This morning I get a call. This is Four Seasons, we noticed that the notes don't show that your AC system was charged with coolant Triple WTF. They make sure with the tech that came out last night and verify that I need to do an AC Startup appointment. Needless to say, I don't understand why my brand new system was needs this as he left saying all is well.
Transferred off to scheduling, asked if I'll be home tomorrow between 8 and 11 (no. I won't. Still out trying to stop floods...and not asking my girlfriend to change her schedule again). Ask to be sent to a manager.
Put on hold.
And then hung up on.
So much for them being courteous.
One star because I have to.
DON'T USE FOUR SEASONS.

Found Ed the Plumber in our church's bulletin. A service call to our building was $125. We had three issues in our unit that needed to be addressed, each issue that we were quoted at $500 per each, or $1,500. This quote was going to cost me more than double the amount I donate to my church every year. I ended up paying the $125, and then had another plumber come in and complete the job for only $200 all together.
If you want to pay high prices, then go to Ed the Plumber. Otherwise I'd just move on.

Where to even begin.....
We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.
Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.
On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.
This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!
Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
