I reached out to Zoom Drain on Yelp (along with a few other plumbers) after our kitchen sink backed up and we couldn't find the clog in the accessible pipes. Zoom responded (overnight) very quickly and was able to send someone out that afternoon. Christian was extremely professional. He wore booties in the house and explained everything he was doing and the pricing before he did it. The clog required three times through with the pipe snake but he persisted until the drain was running like normal. I'd highly recommend for both prompt and professional service.

We recently had a plumbing disaster right before a major family infestation was about to invade our house.  Shannon and crew, despite dealing with their own substantial work load, were able to juggle everything and get the work done just in the nick of time, and UNDER BUDGET!!!  I really can't thank these guys enough for giving us our family Easter back!  Would recommend performance pro to anyone.

Excellent service !! They were so professional and nice . They knew exactly what was going on , they are honest. They got the job done in literally 30 minutes. We will defiantly be calling them in the future if we need to.

These guys are legit. Today, amid a long stretch of sub-freezing temperatures, I had Carmen out to help with a burst pipe in a basement wall. He arrived only hours after I called, and he came with two other employees.

He was able to quickly identify the likely area of the break to a line that supplies the hose bib on the outside of the house.  He then found a shut-off valve for that line (I'm not washing cars or watering flowers in January!) in a non-obvious spot. That allowed me to turn the water back on to the rest of the house, and it allowed him to get to other emergencies today. He'll come back to repair the break when things let up.

During this visit, Carmen also spent some of his valuable time discussing options for addressing low water pressure, and for replacing an aged water heater.

No charge for today's visit. In the past, they've also installed a garbage disposal for me, and rodded out a bad clog near the grease trap.

Dominik was amazing.  He was extremely responsive and got us our back up system within a day.  He also takes the time to answer questions and help you from a preventative stand point so you are prepared in case of emergency.  He will be our go to for all sump pump and ejector pump related questions and services.

Pete just finished our bathroom remodel and had to relocate the drain along with moving water lines. He did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend him to anyone else. Thanks again Pete! Hopefully my wife doesn't have any more projects for you

I called to schedule a service.  When I told him what was involved, he never called back.  I was not important enough to service.

Our HVAC has not been blowing cold air. It was too hot over the weekend and we tried to look for someone who can fix it right away. Through Yelp, I found Advantage Plumbing... I spoke with Jennifer yesterday afternoon and I was delighted that they can come over to our home the following day in the morning. I also mentioned to her that I have a coupon which printing out as 2013 on top of the 2016 date. She gladly said that she will take a note on the discount and will automatically deduct it on the service the following day.

Jay was very pleasant especially to my puppy. I left the house for work and explained to my husband that there should be a discounted price. Jay did a good job on refilling the Freon but uncertain if there is a leak somewhere. We were charged in full and I learned about it after I was charged. I asked my husband why and how and told me that he thought that it was already the discounted price. He called the office and was told that they were not aware that we had the coupon and we should've presented the coupon.

I was just disappointed with the fact that after talking to Jennifer yesterday, she still did not grant us with the discount. If they will look for the copy of the coupon, I would happily present it to her.

Jay did a good job but both he and Jennifer represents the same company. I could have given a 5 star for Jay. I felt like I was presented a false advertisement.

In spite of this, I would still recommend Advantage's Jay. =)

Nothing grosser than a sewer line backing up.  From the initial call for an appointment to the repair phase, Drain and Plumbing Services were outstanding in their delivery.  Phil was a pro, very knowledgeable and personable.  He investigated the problem, offered a solution, an estimated cost and info on future sewer line maintenance.  Within in an hour, he had rodded out the sewer line, flow was restored and I no longer had to be in water conservation mode.  On the day of the appointment, I received several texts from the office, an appointment reminder, a notification that the tech was on his way along with this name (Phil), and a phone call from Phil estimating his arrival time.  I felt like the company valued my time. Drain and Plumbing Services is now in my contact list and I would recommend them.

We have used MD Plumbing several times since we moved into our home four years ago.  They have come for emergencies (exploded sewer in basement, frozen pipe) as well as for regular maintenance (rodding out sewer). We have had service calls from a few different plumbers that work for this company and they have all been extremely competent and sympathetic (which is especially nice when sewers are backing up into basements). They go the extra mile, they take a fair-minded approach to everything they do, and they stand by their work.  Highly recommended (obviously).

I spend days searching for a good honest plumber for our sewer problem. I decided on Courtesy Plumbing and glad I did. I gave them a call and someone answered the phone which a step in the right direction. She said someone will be out tomorrow.
Mike arrived and looked over our problem and informed us to start with our city as the ground on the parkway was starting to cave in over the water main.
I will be calling them back if needed and I highly recommend them!

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Mike was prompt in responding back with an estimate and he showed up on time. He replaced the kitchen faucet and leaky bathroom showers with ease. His professionalism is greatly appreciated and I would strongly recommend him for any plumbing related work.

We live in an older home built in the forties. There are few people familiar with some of the older homes in Hinsdale and the piping. We reached out to Soltwich and they were responsive, affordable and helpful. We definitely recommend their services.

*Update from customer service call. They charge by the job and will not give you a price breakdown. So in essence you pay the same exact rate for a job at 2pm as you do 2am. If we both get the same job but yours takes 3 hours less than mine we pay the same price. They won't tell you the brand of some items you would get just that you get a lifetime warranty.  This is also factored into the price quote. Think of this in the way insurance companies operate. Basically everyone pays for the parts/units/machines that break down. If you try to negotiate the price you will get about $100 off of your job is over $500....but you are charged $85 for them just to show up. Basically you get the discount but if you go with them...right now. This charge and the price by job method saves them from their business closing because if they didn't do it like that they'd go out of business. Yeah I can't make this up I'm not that creative. This business has been around for all these years not because of that business model but because they prey on you being desperate. Desperate enough to not be able to shop around so they get whatever price they charge, have little to know idea what you are getting and have no clue how much anything individually costs even the cost of labor.

Laborers get 5 stars. The dispatch people get 4 stars. The company and its pricing get negative 1,000,000,000 stars. I needed a device to remove condensation from my furnace. The unit can be purchased at any big box store for about $50. The labor to replace an existing unit would take roughly 30 minutes for a professional (including taking part off and cleanup). With tax they wanted $587. Huh? My son that is 5 months old started to cry because that price was so outrageously obnoxious. After the tech called they brought it down to $470. Huh??? So price breakdown would be $50 for part, $40 for tax and $350 for labor....yeah for 30 minutes of work. That equates to $700 an hour for labor.  The young technician would probably see about $50 maybe and that's generous (meaning he then earns $100K minimum). If that were so every kid would want to work for this company and train through an HVAC program. So more likely he got about $35 and the company got $315....Now I'm an idiot when it comes to skilled labor. I can teach high school kids and I can professionally detail a car inside and out. Apparently I should have started an HVAC company to charge people exorbitant amounts of $$$$ for things they cannot do or are afraid to do themselves.  I'm watching YouTube and doing it myself for $50.

Poor parts, poor workmanship and high cost.  One-star review is fitting.

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
