They came out, looked at everything.  Did video of the septic line.  They found the blockage, cleared the line and ran the line a second time.  Stayed to verify that there were no issues.  They ran the washer and turned on every faucet for 10 minutes to verify the issue was fixed.  

I had hired a previous company that did absolutely nothing  but take my money.  This company was very professional and told me everything they were doing the whole time.  

Job well done and they will be my first call if I have any issues in the future.   I highly recommend this company.

Professional, kind and integrity are my impression of Shannon. He was recommended by a friend of my wife and I really thank God for him. I called him to fix the broken hot water faucet connecting to washing machine. My dryer was broken and I ordered a set of washer and dryer. I did not know that I got a broken faucet until I disconnect everything in preparing for the new washer but the installers did not want to do anything with the washer because of it and just left. I tried to connect myself but can not get it work. Called Shannon to fix the faucet for me so that I can have the service people in again to install the washer for me. Because of the ages of my house, the new faucet does not fit. Thanks God that Shannon fixed them all for me so quick and clean and connect the washer for me and have everything ready for me as courtesy. I also asked him to fix the broken valve that controls the incoming water pipe in the basement, which I knew about a couple years ago. He fixed it so quick and clean and the cost was very reasonable. Even better than what the handyman quoted me years ago. I am so glad that I don't need to worry about who to call for the plumbing related works anymore. I enjoy his whistling too. I think he is gifted in that and it really smooth my troubling heart ( days without washer and dryers and dirty cloths piled up ... ). If you worry about the cost of a professional plumber and thinking of getting a handy man but worry whether he/she can do a good job or not, you don't need to anymore. Just call Shannon.

Paul The Plumber will be the one and only plumber we use from now on - he's the best of the best!  We contacted Paul through Yelp to request an estimate for replacing a faucet and he responded within minutes.  He helped us locate the new faucet we wanted and was out to install it within a day.  Paul is professional, courteous, meticulous and reasonably priced.  We were extremely pleased with Paul and the job he did for us - we highly recommend him!

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

When I had water pouring from the ceiling on the first floor, under the second floor bathroom at 9:30pm on a Thursday, I read the reviews and gave these guys a call. I had Dex and his assistant at my house by 11:00pm that same night. Dex quickly diagnosed the potential problem, added a spacer to fix the toilet flange seal, and even did some minor routing of the toilet drain for me. When the problem turned out to be larger than we all anticipated that night, Dex and his crew were back the next day as promised and did a complete routing of the main stack. My toilet flushes better than it ever has. And he took the time to explain to me what they were doing and show me how they were routing the stack from both directions, bottom up and top down. Would definitely hire these guys again.

I called to schedule a service.  When I told him what was involved, he never called back.  I was not important enough to service.

This is one one great company. We used them previously to service a broken shower pipe and they were quick, efficient, reasonably priced, able to diagnose give several options and fix all in one trip. They were also polite and no plumber crack :).

Today our water heater broke so we called them again. They again came during the time specifications they said they would, gave me options and this time came back with our tankless water system we decided to go with. They were able to install it in one day and did not complain or charge me extra because the work went passed normal business hours.

The plumber Sean has been out both times to our house. He has been so helpful and truthful with us, helping us find the best option to fix the problem. He does not create fake problems to increase the bill and doesn't try and sell us stuff we don't need. He also remembered us which is great for report. We will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs.

Martin went above and beyond to replace my ejector pump. He is professional and knowledgeable and I highly recommend his service.  He was efficient and explained the situation and how to repair clearly.

I had Sean and Paul out to my salon today to address issues with my pedicure stations. They listened to my concerns and formulated a plan and started working right away. Due to needing to order parts some issues couldn't be resolved. However,Sean even offered to research finding the part for my out dated pedicure station. How nice is that! So if your looking for professional,prompt, and knowledgable plumbing service these are the guys for you.

I had Jason out providing a quote for our leaking shower drain. He was fantastic with looking for solutions to fix our problem with the minimum cost and trouble for us first. He also diagnosed the issue quickly and talked through all the options with us patiently when I had questions. Would definitely have them out to look at any of our issues as they were professional and friendly with zero pressure. Thank you Jason! While I hope that we don't need your services again any time soon, you'll be a go to for my plumbing needs.

Oh what fun it is to wake up sick on your day off and discover your sewer line is backed up.  Fabulous!  My husband frantically started calling plumbers in the area and worried where we would take the children to use a washroom when the call for nature arose.  Yet, I immediately turned to the best resource out there.  Yelp.  

The Sewer Guy is located in Lyons, which is in close proximity to us here in Brookfield.  I gave Greg a call and he was very personable and professional.  You can tell a lot about a person from a phone call.  It got even better when he said he would be here in 15 minutes.  What???  Yes, please.

Greg did a great job rodding out our sewer and was very affordable.  The whole process took under an hour and it was nice chatting with Greg for the duration.  We will definitely call The Sewer Guy again if we are in need of any of his services.  Recommend!

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Mike was the first to respond and quote my job. Estimate was fair - not the most expensive / not the least expensive.  Work was completed on time and well - they were super considerate of the house - drop cloths everywhere, booties on and off as they came and went. Overall, Mike and Jr we're a pleasure to work with and handled my last minute audibles with ease!  Definitely will use RMO again!

They send what is supposedly a licensed union plumber who should know what he's doing.  He installs a new hot water heater and vents it only to the chimney, not to the liner in the chimney.  That's mistake #1.  Plus the flue slope is incorrect and can lead to gases not exiting properly (mistake #2).  I'll throw both these into Mistake #3:  He told me he cannot see well. (Thanks for sendinig over a plumber with vision issues, that instills confidence!). And, rather than putting his tools down on the painted basement floor, he drops them, which left a number of scratch marks on the floor.  Will never call them again. Their hold music should be Send in the Clowns.

Oh no! Don't go here. Our air conditioner - Magic Pak, for small condos - needed some repairs. We contact Four Seasons several days in advance to schedule an appointment. They gave us a 6-10pm window. After calling several times for updates and the service rep pushing us back, we learned the ETA was midnight! Crazy! Do not go here if possible. Not a good customer experience.

Found Ed the Plumber in our church's bulletin. A service call to our building was $125. We had three issues in our unit that needed to be addressed, each issue that we were quoted at $500 per each, or $1,500. This quote was going to cost me more than double the amount I donate to my church every year. I ended up paying the $125, and then had another plumber come in and complete the job for only $200 all together.

If you want to pay high prices, then go to Ed the Plumber. Otherwise I'd just move on.

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
